I don't own Mass Effect but I have bought the new Mass Effect Legendary Edition and am loving it, I just wished I could romance Tali in the first one.
Sorry I haven't updated this story in so long. one week became two and then years passed. By this point I originally wished to have part 1,2 and 3 completely done. I am planning on continuing most of my stories. This one and my shield hero stories are definitely two of them but I can only focus on one or two at a time and at the moment those are Priestess and Shepards Return.
I will try to write more often with this story but it will be a long time before another chapter is ready, even if I write a couple paragraphs for every chapter of my main stories. I had so many side stories that would have fitted in with this one, such as a Cayde 6 side story etc that its a bit sad I left this story so long.
That said, I am wondering whether I should continue where I left off or do a re-write. Not change any details, but my writing has improved, and I can remove any mistakes and make the story better.
With this story, I noticed a trend that each follow-up chapter was read by fewer and fewer people, and I believe this is due to people losing interest and problems with my writing.
Unfortunately I have so many story ideas I will never get them all done and will have to focus mostly on what is most followed. One idea is Titan Effect, it will be a mirror image of this story but will have a Void wielding, shield bashing titan who will use his shield like Captain America (like if Shax or the Master Chief had a baby with the Captain. I remember their being lore on a titan on the Leviathan stuck in time. He ends up turning into a statue and winding up on Eden Prime. This idea I doubt I will ever write though.
Another I have had for a while (back in 2019) that I got from talking to my beta is Cabal Effect and is much more original. During the Eden Prime attack the humans get help from an unexpected source...the Cabal. The Cabal reveal history that was forgotten by the humans and everyone else.The destiny universe as it is currently known ended with an alliance of Cabal, Elniski and Humans (plus awoken and exo) to beat the darkness but it nearly cost them everything. Humans had to start from scratch, the cabal just got their stuff back to how it was before the Red War, and no one knows what happened to the elniski. Also, in this one, the awoken eventual evolve/were changed into the asari who also forgot that part of their history.
