Chapter 32: Angry Princess

Zeno felt anger swelling up in his chest. Yona had been hurt during the fall. Her ankle had twisted itself upon their landing. Not good. He thought. If Missy can't walk she'll have to stay behind whilst Yun and I finish the mission. Mister will be angrier than anything if she's seriously injured. Yun can't fix it because his hands are tied. Zeno began wiggling his own hands and found that they were tightly bound. If I break my wrist, I could slide it out easily. He thought but he knew if either his companions found out he had done such a thing they'd be angry at him. Missy's anger is worst than a pissed off dragon, and that's saying something. Zeno felt the boat stop swaying. We must be where they're keeping the girls.

All three were escorted upon the new larger ship and pushed into the room. Their blindfolds were removed. The room was filled with women. Over dozen from what Zeno could tell. His eyes made contact with the two others, both nodding at him. This was the place.

Suddenly the door opened to reveal a burley kind of man. Large in stature and even larger around. The man's eyes caught sight of Yona and grabbed her by her hair. Yona cried out in pain. Zeno began to see red as anger swelled in him. That was when Yun spoke up.

"I-I can do better than that girl." Kum-ji looked at Yun. "I can satisfy you better than her my lord."

"Oh?" He leaned forward to inspect this prize. "You're right. You are a fine jewel." He then released Yun's chin. "But-" He suddenly kicked Yun in the face. "I despise impudence in women! Don't interrupt my fun!" That was when a heavy aura filled the room. One that promised pain and death. Zeno had only felt this kind of presence once, when King Hiryuu had killed an enemy who had hurt his Queen.

Kum-ji released Yona's hair as if she had burned him. He stared at her with fear. Like he was expecting her to change into a monstrous being.

"Girl, where are you from?"

"Awa." Yona lied.

"I once went to the palace and saw a girl with red hair like yours." Zeno's eyes widened. "She was the Princess."

"I am the daughter of a poor merchant. I heard I could find work here. I don't know who this Princess is that has red hair like mine, but if Lord Kum-ji would find it beneficial I could become this Princess for you."

He turned away from her. "You're joking. Princess Yona would not be shaking like a child in this place nor would she find herself here." He went to walk away. "Besides, I heard she was kidnapped and then killed by the former General of the Wind tribe." He snorted. "Such a waste." With that last response he walked out of the room.

In his thoughts he recalled those eyes. Besides, no Princess has eyes like those. Like a wild beast ready to attack. He felt a shiver run down his spine at the memory. Something is off with that girl.

"Hak," Jae-ha's voice echoed in the night causing the other to jump slightly though it was well hidden. "Try to get some rest. You've been staring off towards town since yesterday morning."

"This is how I sleep." The reluctant teen replied, not wanting to admit he was tired. "White snake is who you should be worried about."

As if saying his name woke the other young man, Kija stood up screaming. "CURSE YOU KUM-JI!"

Hak smirked. "He keeps nodding off only to awaken and scream like that."

Good grief. Jae-ha thought. "Poor Kija is going to ruin his pretty little face."

"Ryokuryuu." Shinah's voice startled both men before he grasped the older ones shoulder in concern. "You've got dark circles under your eyes."

Jae-ha jumped away from him in surprise. "Hey! You shouldn't be sneaking up on me like that!"

"You haven't slept much either." Shinah continued.

"Who me?" he asked in surprise. "Right!" He laughed. "I've been eating, drinking and having fun with the girls…"

Hak narrowed his eyes at him. Kija, looking tired but doubtful at the older man. All three suddenly jumped Jae-ha. "Show is your face!" Hak demanded.

"Let's see your eyes!" Kija huffed as he grabbed at Jae-ha.

Jae-ha gave a half mournful sound. "I've been sullied!" That kind of hurt but weirdly I liked the attention. He grinned to himself. Plus it got their minds off of-

"He really does have dark circles!" Kija gasped.

Hak rolled his eyes at Jae-ha's antics as he pulled the collar of his tunic to his shoulder in a fake dismay of being sullied. "Keep your clothes on."

"You're worried about her!" Kija gasped.

"So what?" Jae-ha grunted as he stood up from the deck of the ship that they'd tackled him to. "Alright! I'm worried about her. She's a girl afterall."

Kija grinned. "Why doesn't matter. Even if you feel a little towards her that I do than that means I can truly trust you to have my back in a fight, even a battle." Jae-ha was shocked by this.

"You three act as if you aren't worried about those other two. What we're they called?" He asked. "Zeno? Yun?"

Before the other two could answer Hak began laughing. "Zeno will turn to stone and kill anyone who touches her. Yun-"

"Is clever." Shinah answered.

"Very smart and reliable." Kija answered.

"However," Hak began as recalled what happened in the valley between the fire and wind tribes. "she has a fire that burns in her when she gets angry enough. I've only seen it once and it almost made me stumble, but she can be amazing in her own right. I just hope I don't miss it."

All three dragon warriors looked at him in confusion. "Miss what Hak." Jae-ha inquired, his curiosity getting the best of him.

Hak grinned like a crazy man about to go on a rampage. "When she lights up this darkened world."

Unbeknownst to them Gi-gan was listening to their conversation. Lights up the world, huh? She wondered just who was this girl? No Princess she'd ever heard of that could do what was about to be done.

Shinah's voice suddenly reached her ears as he looked towards town once more. "The ships in the harbor have begun to set sail."

"Let's begin our operation." Gi-gan's voice echoed amongst the group causing them to look towards her and the other pirates as they came out of hiding. Tonight blood was going to be shed.
