AN: Thank you for the reviews! I'm glad you're all enjoying the fic.

danifan3000: All shall be revealed, and ooh, I never noticed that continuity error! I'll need to address it.

Flurry: All Kingdoms are different when it comes to the Prince Consort title, but with that said, Eugene's title is due to him being the king of the Dark Kingdom (from Tangled the series). Moira's parents are Merida and Feradach (from the book Bravely, a sequel, of sorts, to Brave), and she's a triplet. Her sisters are Marette and Maisie. Damien's parents are Anastasia and Dimitri. When it comes to Chad, you might enjoy this chapter and the next. I love your love spell skit, and hopefully what I have planned doesn't disappoint.

harrypotterlover: As much as I adore those characters, they likely won't make an appearance in this fic just because I'm not sure how I would fit them, and the lore that would need to come with them, into this particular world. Although I'll see if I can attempt to mention them at some point. With that said, now I can't stop thinking about the PJO characters in the Descendants Universe...

The scene changed to Evie and Doug in chemistry class. Evie was staring dreamily at Chad, who wasn't paying attention to the teacher, and asked Doug if he was in line for a throne. Anywhere in line.

"Walk away!" One of the girls in the audience warned.

"Run away! Avoid at all costs!" Another shouted.

Cinderella turned to Chad, her eyes dark. "What did you do?" She demanded, as Chad sunk into his seat.

"Nothing," Chad mumbled.

"Chadwick Charming!"

"What does it matter?" Chad asked. "It's no big deal."

"NO BIG DEAL?" Ebba stood up abruptly, "You're a two-timing jerk who manipulated a bunch of girls to do your homework for you!"

"WHAT?" Kit and Ella both exclaimed. Chad was even deeper in his seat, as more and more girls spoke up after Ebba.

"Took me on a date only to-"

"-homework for three weeks! Three weeks!"

"And you never called back-"

A shrill whistle was heard throughout the room, and the goddess of the Underworld stepped forward, looking around at the previously shouting girls. "While I agree that what this boy did was wrong, now is not the time to share all the stories." She told the girls, before grinning, "Although what you talk about at breaks is up to you."

The girls started to sit, most throwing glares at the prince, and Ella leaned forward to hiss in Chad's ear. "We will be discussing this later."

With a sigh, Doug explained who Chad was, and Evie visibly perked up at the mention of Cinderella.

"I look up to her," Evie said quietly as questioning gazes turned her way. "I grew up similarly."

In the back, Snow White's chest started to tighten. She began to wonder if perhaps Grimhilde and Evie's relationship wasn't as good as she first thought it was.

"Chad inherited the charm, but not a lot of there, there. Know what I mean?"

"Hey!" Chad protested, while snickers where heard throughout the room.

"Well, he's not wrong!" Someone called out, making the prince scowl more.

The chemistry teacher, Mr. Deley, called on Evie. He implied that this was just a review for her, and asked her what the average atomic weight of silver is.

"Does he always act like that?" Tiana asked Tyrone, who was currently taking chemistry.

"Rude? Yeah." Tyrone said. "He's a kiss up to most of the princes. He doesn't like me though," He added, "Because I called him out on it once. Got sent to the headmistress for that."

Naveen sighed, "So that's what that was about." He remembered the phone call from Fairy Godmother, but all that had been said was that Tyrone had been rude to a teacher. His son wasn't generally like that, but it was the start of the school year and he had assumed that it was stress related. No other incidents came, and honestly he and Tiana had forgotten about it.

"He's also sexist." Teresa added, with an unusual scowl on her face. "You should have seen the shouting match that he and Violet got into last year."

Her parents shared a concerned look, as did other parents in the room. Mulan and Merida were both fuming as their daughters told them more stories about the chemistry teacher and his treatment of females in his class.

In the front, Fairy Godmother frowned. She had been hearing more and more complaints about Mr. Deley recently, and from what she was seeing and hearing now , things were worse than she had originally thought.

Evie nervously made a joke, but Mr. Deley wasn't amused and beckoned her to the board. She quickly grabbed her mirror, hiding it from sight.

"I only used it in class that one time!" Evie said quickly. "I know I shouldn't have, but I didn't even know about what we were learning yet!"

"I'll allow it this time, but only because he caught you off guard." Fairy Godmother warned.

Evie agreed, but Mal wasn't letting it go. "He more than caught her off-guard," She told Fairy Godmother. "Only the best of the best, and most well behaved kids on the Isle are allowed to join Yen Sid for chemistry, considering we live on an island full of villains. Carlos has been trying to tutor all of us since we got here."

"Oh!" Fairy Godmother said in surprise, sharing a look with Belle and Beast. "We thought that your curriculum would match up, considering that we did send it."

Jay laughed at the thought of Auradon Prep classes on the Isle. "None of our classes are like the ones here." He told them. "School on the Isle is nothing like it is here."

"A lot of kids don't even know how to count, let alone read," Carlos said. "Because a lot of parents won't teach them, and neither do the teachers."

"And school isn't mandatory." Mal added, "Some kids just go to get away from their parents. Others sometimes go to steal whatever supplies they can find, or to have some shelter during the day. We were raised by villains, on an island full of villains, remember?"

"We'll add review classes," Belle said without hesitation, "And if you need them, we can find tutors for you all."

Mal nodded, "Thank you, Your Majesty."

Evie repeated the question, and glanced down at her mirror as she explained everything she was writing on the board. She answered the question correctly, and Mr. Deley said, "I forgot. Always a mistake to underestimate-"

Lonnie's face darkened, "I swear, if he says a girl..."

Evie interrupted him, "A villain? Don't make it again."

"She just threatened a teacher!" Chad yelled, looking around for anyone who would agree with him. His eyes locked on Audrey's, expecting some support from his girlfriend, but to his surprise she looked away. Not even King Beast spoke up.

As she walked back to her seat, Chad gave her a note, which Evie took with a smile. She opened it once she sat down, finding a request to meet under the bleachers at 3, which she accepted.

The scene changed to Ben and Carlos at the Tourney field. Ben told him that they were going to do sprints, only as he went to start them, a dog ran on the field and Carlos took off running.

"Dang, he's fast." Jr. whispered to Lonnie.

"Am I the only one concerned about how he's scared of Dude?" Naomi asked.

Carlos sighed as questions came his way, but he didn't explain, knowing what was coming.

"Am I the only one concerned about how Ben isn't hearing Carlos' screams?" Elsie asked, putting the attention on Ben. She had poked the prince during her last five words, and Ben was pushing her hand away.

"Yes Els, I know, I know. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings."

"And you know what that's a sign of?"

Ben sighed, just as Elsie shouted, "Needing sleep!"

"I'll sleep when the coronation is over." Ben told her.

Elsie, Reiner, and Aksel all gave Ben unamused looks. "Yeah, sure, you'll sleep after the coronation." Elsie said with an eyeroll, before crossing her arms and grumbling. "It'll take a miracle."

Across from them, Belle and Beast were both looking at their son in concern. "I knew he was losing some sleep," Beast whispered to his wife, "But it's not too much, is it?"

"Elsie could be exaggerating." Belle said hopefully, even though she knew she was gaslighting herself. For all her dramatics, Elsie didn't tend to exaggerate about things like that.

Ben finally noticed Carlos' screams, and ran after him. Carlos reached the forest and climbed up a tree, calling to Ben for help. "This thing is a killer!" He shouted once Ben arrived, pointing at the dog. He continued on, saying that the dog would chase him down and rip out his throat, and how it was a vicious, rabid pack animal."

"Who told you that?" Anita asked in horror, just as the on-screen Ben asked him the same thing.

"My mother," Carlos said, at the same time as his past self.

Carlos said that his mother was a dog expert. A dog yellerer.

"A what?" Jane asked.

"Just go with it," Jay advised.

Ben laughed, and asked Carlos if he'd ever actually met a dog.

"The only dogs on the Isle are in the Hunters domain," Carlos told him. "And while my mother frequents there, I try to avoid it as much as possible."

Ben introduced Carlos to Dude, explaining that Dude was the campus mutt.

"Not anymore," Antonio said with a smile. "That was the day Dude became Carlos' dog." Personally, he thought it was a good thing, for Carlos and for Dude. He had even checked with Dude, who had confirmed that he was much happier having his own human. He had just been waiting for the right person to come along.

Carlos slowly came down from the tree, mentioning that Dude didn't look like a vicious, rabid pack animal. Slowly, Carlos got closer and started to pet and praise Dude, and Ben handed the dog to him.

"Aww," Anita whispered, blinking away some tears as she leaned into Roger. She couldn't believe the lies that Cruella had filled the boys head with, and if she ever saw the woman again she'd give her a piece of her mind.

"I guess you guys have it pretty rough on the island." Ben said.

"That's an understatement." Mal said with a harsh laugh, paying no attention to the looks of concern and sadness being shared around the room.

Carlos made a joke about them not getting many belly rubs, and Ben reached out and clasped his shoulder. "Good boy." He said, before quickly adding, "I mean, you're a good runner. You're... you're fast, you know."

Ben groaned and put his face in his hand, while his friends burst into laughter.

"I'm never going to live that down." Ben stated, his voice muffled.

"Definitely not." Aksel agreed, while struggling to catch his breath.

Carlos accepted the compliment, and Ben told him that he was going to give them some space so they could get to know each other, and to come find him when he was done.

Jane almost melted at the sight of Carlos and Dude cuddling under the tree.

The scene was now Chad and Evie, with Chad helping Evie under the bleachers. He asked her if everyone back on the Isle was as pretty as her, and she said she liked to think that she was the fairest of them all.

Snow flinched at her stepsister's words. Those words had caused her so much pain in life. She was worried that maybe her step-mother had put pressure on Evie to live up to the title. After the Evil Queen herself, of course.

Evie asked how many room's were in Chad's castle, to which he brushed off by saying there were too many to count.

Evie leaned in to kiss him, but Chad moved away. He mentioned how she had nailed the chemistry problem earlier in the day,

"Chadwick Charming, tell me you didn't do what I think you did." Ella demanded, her words fast in her panic.

Chad didn't respond, and Ella's blood rose as the scene continued.

and how she was going to have all the nerds in love with her.

While Doug scowled, Damien scoffed. "And let me guess, your definition of nerds are either the people who don't play sports, or those who do better than you in school?"

Chad glared at him, but Damien didn't back down.

"They really don't like each other." Karine whispered to Evie and Mal. "Thankfully, they haven't had a fight in the past few months."

"Punches were thrown at the last one," Reiner added quietly, making sure none of the adults could hear him. "A few of us were able to break it up before things got really bad. Thankfully, it was a Friday night and none of the teachers found out. Damien disappeared until Sunday night, and Chad stayed in his dorm room until Monday morning."

Jay swore lightly, while Carlos said, "I think Damien might be my new favorite person." The others silently agreed.

Evie quickly said that she wasn't that smart.

Mal took Evie's hands in hers. "E, do not sell yourself short." She said, "You are so smart! If any guy tells you otherwise, or makes fun of you for it, just walk away. He isn't worth your time."

"Thanks M." Evie said, squeezing Mal's hands.

Chad didn't believe her, and Evie said that she was really good with sewing, cooking, and cleaning, comparing herself to Cinderella without the ratty dress.

Evie quickly started to apologize to Ella, but the older woman held up a hand and smiled at the girl. "No, its okay." She told her. "My old dress was pretty warn.

In another section, Florian was rubbing Snow's back while she rocked back and forth. "Cooking, sewing, cleaning." She whispered, again and again. She made her her maid. She did to Evie what she did to me."

"She won't be going back there," Florian assured. "We'll make sure of it."

"But what about Adam? He's against Ben's movement."

Florian looked around at the other royals, "I have a feeling he won't have much support, and in the end, Ben is the new High King. Adam will just be an advisor."

Evie brought out her magic mirror.

"Evie!" Mal shouted.

"I know! A bad idea!"

Evie showed it to Chad, telling him that if she asked it something it would tell her. Chad quickly grabbed it, asking where his cell phone was.

Evie laughed and said it wouldn't work for him, to which he replied it was fine and his dad would get him a new one.

Kit sighed deeply. "You better have found it," he warned, "because I am not buying you another one."

"I did." Chad said. "In the lost and found..."

Evie and Chad got closer, and Evie asked about Fairy Godmother's wand and if they always kept it in a museum.

"Have to admit, she knows how to stay on track." Ebba whispered to Abi.

Chad pulled away before they could kiss. He said he would like to talk, but he was just too swamped. "Unless," he said, turning to Evie who repeated to word with hope. "If you could knock all of my homework out along with yours, then maybe we could get together sometime.. Hang out.."

"You are grounded." Ella told Chad, barely keeping herself from yelling. "How many girls have you done this too? How long have you been doing this?"

"Half the year," Chad mumbled, avoiding the first question.

"Half the year!" Ella screeched, drawing attention from others. She looked over at Fairy Godmother. "How did the teacher not notice?"

Fairy Godmother's ears were turning red, and she glared at the boy as well. "I'm not sure." She admitted to Ella. "He's not in any of my classes, but that's not an excuse. Once we're back, I'll get coursework for him to do and we'll launch and investigation."

Neither she nor Ella spoke about how this could affect Chad's grade, and Kit was rubbing his forehead. Another year of summer school seemed to be ahead of them.

Chad gave his backpack to Evie and walked away. As soon as he was gone, Doug appeared. "I couldn't help but overhead..."

"Are you stalking me?" Evie asked sharply.

"Technically... yes."

While things had worked out, Mal couldn't help but narrow her eyes. Her opinion of Doug was getting worse and worse.

In the back, Doug's brother and cousins began to tease him again.

Doug said that he also had a fascination with Fairy Godmother's wand, and mentioned that it was one reason he looked forward to the coronation. He then asked if Evie would like to sit next to him, and mentioned that they could discuss its attributes.

"That is a nerd." Chad muttered to Emil, who just looked at him in disbelief while their mother hissed that if Chad kept it up he'd have more punishments added.

Evie latched onto one detail: using the wand in the coronation. Doug confirmed it, then asked about asking her out, to which Evie didn't say anything. She just smiled and left.

"She didn't say no." Sally, the daughter of Sleepy, and surprisingly a person who rarely slept, sand out.

"Which means she might say yes," Dorothy, Doc's eldest daughter, chimed in.

Doug sighed, "Please, stop." He told them. He looked towards Evie, who hadn't turned back at all. He knew that he should go talk to her, but he wasn't sure if she would accept it considering how he had back Chad earlier that day. "I think I really messed things up."

Sally hummed, "Well, you'll never find out until you talk to her."

Up front, Ella stood up. "Queen Persephone, is it alright if we take another break?"

"Of course," Persephone said, gesturing to the Fates, who had been on a deck in the back with some threads. Lachesis froze the screen and said something to her sisters. Whatever it was had Atropos pointing to Chad and cackling.

Persephone ignored them and gestured to everyone. "Once again, if you would like a private room, just ask me. For now, please enjoy your break.
