Robert and Ethan had just got to the store to shop for suits when Robert's phone rang. Robert saw it was Laura and answered it. "Scorpio."
"Robert, I have something to tell you." Laura's voice did not hide the fact that she was heartbroken. She had been making these calls for a while to help Lucas out.
"Is everything alright?" Robert asked her, clearly concerned.
"Robert, Bobbie passed away." Laura's voice trembled as she spoke those words once again. This loss was enormous.
Robert didn't know what to say at first. He couldn't believe he had just heard those words. "...Are you okay?" He asked immediately wanting to make sure she was alright.
"I am, I'm sad but I will be okay. Can you tell Holly, Ethan and Tiffany?" Laura asked. "I really think Lucas could use Tiff right now."
"Of course." Robert ended the call and looked at Ethan.
"What's wrong?" Ethan asked, he could tell Robert was trying to sort out the news he just got.
"Bobbie passed away." Robert told him, still trying to let it sink in to him.
Ethan immediately hugged Robert, he knew how close he had been to not only Luke but Bobbie too. "We need to tell mum."
Robert hugged his son back and nodded. "We do." The two headed home where they found Tiffany and Holly sitting on the couch drinking some tie.
"Hello there handsome." Holly's bright smile immediately faded when she saw the look on Robert's face. "What's wrong?" She asked him as she went over to him and took his hand.
"Laura called me...there's no easy way to say this so here it goes, Bobbie passed away." Robert took Holly's other hand in his.
Holly's eyes immediately filled with tears. "No, not Bobbie?" Holly sat back down on the couch.
Tiffany was overwhelmed by emotions too. She gave her best friend a hug. "Darling she's with BJ again. I need to go call Lucas." Tiffany needed to keep busy, she had to. She would have a cry but right now her nephew needed her. She got up and left the room to call Lucas.
Robert took the seat next to Holly, taking her hand into his again. "You okay?" He asked her.
Holly wiped her eyes with her free hand. "We were just texting, we were going to do something when she got back."
Robert wrapped his arms around Holly pulling her close to him. "She knew how much she meant to you. She always loved you."
Holly held on tightly to Robert. "She loved you too, you went above and beyond for her at times. I just can't believe she is gone."
Robert kissed Holly's head. "I can't either. This town already seems so different."
Holly pulled back from their embrace to look into his eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked him.
Robert wanted to say yes but knew she would see right through him, she always did. "I'm going to miss my friend."
Holly wrapped her arms around Robert holding him close to her. "We both will darling." Holly held onto him as they both mourned the loss of their friends, while Bobbie and them weren't always on the same page they did always did get back there. She was one of the closest things Holly had to a sister.
