The service for Bobbie was beautiful, Tiffany, Robert and Holly all made sure that Lucas was alright. Tiffany insisted on sitting next to him just incase he needed her, she knew he loved his mother so much.
After it was done Robert and Holly went back home, their hearts filled with so much love for their friend.
"You know Felicia and Carly are going to finish what she started. Are you wanting to go with them?" Robert asked.
Holly looked over at Robert and shook her head, her arms wrapping around him. "Absolutely not, I seem to remember the whole not spending time apart. I meant that." Of course Holly loved an adventure but now she wanted to have that with Robert.
Robert was relieved, noticeable by the look on his face. "I am so happy to hear you say that. There's nothing I want more in the world than to come home to you."
Holly's eyes sparkled as she looked into his. "You have that, forever. Do you need to go to work?" She asked him.
"In a little while, right now I need to be with you." Robert told Holly, he sat down on the couch and gently pulled her to him.
Holly placed her hand on his heart. "I need to be with you too. It was a lovely service."
"It was. You know I went to the pier and had a talk with Luke." Robert told Holly.
Holly was surprised to hear that but it was very Robert. "I'm sure that helped you process. You know you really did look out for her, even if it meant doing things you didn't want to like taking away Lucas, she told me about that. She always did respect you."
Robert nodded as he held onto Holly. "She adored you but then again who doesn't?"
Holly giggled at his comment. "I don't think you have a fair opinion sir."
"I know I don't." Robert replied as he placed a kiss on the side of her head.
Holly playfully swatted at him. "You know I'm glad we have each other and I genuinely want us to have Lucas over often. I think it will help us feel more connected to Bobbie and Tiffany would love it."
"I think it would be great, you know had he turned out to be mine I would have been damn proud of the man he is. I know Bobbie and Tony were." Robert said about his two friends.
"I know you would have. I know I would have loved having him as a stepson too just like I love Robin." Holly wrapped her arms around Robert.
Robert kissed her head. "I know you would have. Why don't I take my beautiful wife to grab a bite to eat before I have to work?"
"Sounds lovely." Holly smiled at Robert. The two got up and took each others hand, just needing more time with each other before the two took on the world again.
