Robert found himself back at work, Chase was filling him in on the progress he made while Robert was gone.
"We found more to use against Diane. Commish, I really think she's going away for a long time and the mob will with any luck topple." Chase was hopeful and determined, he was focusing on this because the loss of his father was hitting him hard.
"It already has, I just want this town to be safe and have some order." Robert had read about Chase's father's death. He wasn't sure if he should bring it up but felt like a clot ignoring it. "I'm sorry about your.."
Chase held his hand up, trying to keep it together. "Thank you."
Scorpio Townhouse
Holly was getting around to finding homes for their wedding gifts when Jayne walked in.
"Hey, mum. Need some help?" Jayne asked as she sat down.
"I would love it. Then you can fill me in on what you have been up to." Holly lovingly looked at her daughter.
"I've been spending a lot of time with Chase, he lost his father." Jayne sadly stated.
Holly took her hand. "It's good you are there for him. Your father was there for me."
Jayne nodded and smiled. "I love that you two have this amazing, underlying friendship."
"I do too, It gave a great foundation when things turned real."
PCPD
Robert and Chase were planning their next move when they heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Robert looked up at the door.
Rose walked in with Seana in her arms. "Robert, she just came into Kelly's by herself."
Robert stood up and went over to Rose and his granddaughter. "What? He asked as he took Seana into his arms.
