PCPD

Robert and Chase were busy at work, trying to see if they could figure out who was trying to use Holly to send him a message.

"Was Jayne doing okay?" Robert asked Chase, the worry on his face noticeable.

"Yes, she was, Holly is too. I looked in before I left. We are going to keep them safe, too." Chase tried to reassure Robert.

Robert appreciated Chase's words. The two of them sat down together to try to figure things out.

The Townhouse

Holly and Jayne got home, Holly knew something was up. She knew Robert was going to fill her in, but she also felt she needed to know exactly what was going on to protect her family and herself. "Jayne, please tell me what is going on."

Jayne was going to let Robert go into details but completely got why Holly needed to know. 'Dad got another message. Whoever this is knows you are the way to getting to him."

Holly sighed softly. His enemies always knew what getting a hold of her would do to him. "Whoever this is will learn you don't mess with The Scorpios." Holly tried to not only reassure her daughter but herself as well.

Robert walked inside, feeling relief as he saw both Holly and Jayne standing there. He sat his key down. "Hello, luvs." He went over and hugged Jayne, then gave Holly a hug and a kiss.

Holly held onto Robert and looked into his eyes. "I was just telling Jayne how no one can hurt us or harm us."

Robert got a look in his eyes as he nodded. "That's right.. Holly..."

Before Robert could get into telling her, Ethan and Seana walked in. "Grandpa!" Seana ran over to hug him.

Robert let go of Holly and scooped up Seana. "How's grandpa's girl?" He asked as he gave her a hug.

Seana reached over and hugged Holly too. "Good!"

"We went to see a movie and got some ice cream." Ethan beamed with pride as he looked at Seana. He gave Holly a hug.

"Oh I bet she loved that." Jayne smiled, she had been spending a lot of time with Seana and truly adored her niece as well.

"Her face told the story before I wiped her off." Ethan gave Jayne a hug. He could sense something was wrong. "Fill me in after I get her settled down?" He asked.

Robert nodded. "Of course. You go get a nap in." He gave Seana another hug. Holly did too before Ethan took her to the other room.

Holly's face was lit up. "You know I love seeing him like that. He's such a good father, then again look at the father he comes from."

Robert grinned at her. "His mom is pretty amazing too." Robert sat down and reached for her hand.

Holly took it and the seat next to him. "What's going on?"

Robert held onto her hand. "I got another message, I really think I need to have someone at least nearby you until we figure this out."

Holly wanted to say no, absolutely not but because of her recent kidnappings she didn't think having a little protection seemed that bad. "Okay, I get it. I agree but I also want someone keeping an eye on the house when I am not here. I don't want any of our family targeted."

Robert nodded. He had already thought about that too. "Of course, I'm going to figure this out as quickly as I can, and when I do, they are going to pay."

Holly nodded, she had complete faith in Robert. "You've ruled out Diane?"

"Not completely, but I feel that's too obvious. They know we are going to think that, so I'm not leaving any stone unturned." Robert looked up at Jayne then back at Holly. He was not going to let anyone hurt his family again, ever. That was a promise.
