Robert finished up his day at the office, at least for the time being. Robin had asked for all of her family to get together, mainly her four parents, to make an announcement.
Robert was helping Holly make a salad in the kitchen. "How is Jayne doing?"
Holly looked over, "She's alright. I think we reassured her and made her realize we are on her side."
"Good, I always will be. I see a lot of me in her, a lot of you too." Robert gave Holly a smile.
"She's extraordinary." Holly was so proud of who Jayne was.
Robert saw the smile on Holly's face and leaned in. "So is her mum."
Holly looked over and grinned. "Her dad isn't a shabby chap either."
"You flatter me with that sweet talk." Robert winked at her and Holly laughed.
They finished up dinner just as Robin arrived with Patrick and Noah.
Noah and Seana started to play as the adults greeted each other.
"It is so good to see you both." Holly hugged both Robin and Patrick.
"Good to see you too, Holly." Robin smiled.
Once Duke and Anna arrived they all sat down in various places.
"Patrick and I have decided to move back to Port Charles." Robin told them.
Everyone was thrilled, all giving them hugs.
"We really want Noah to know you all as well as Emma does and I have siblings I need to get to know or know better in Ethan's case." Robin smiled.
"I think that's fantastic." Holly smiled as she looked over at Noah and Seana who were in their own little world playing. "I know two little ones who will love getting to grow up together."
"I'm so happy they'll get that chance." Annie hugged Robin.
"Noah will get to know his Grandma Holly and Grandpa Duke better too." Robin was so happy to have two of the people who were most important to her when she was little back in her life again and in her sons.
The Scorpios, Laverys, and Donelys all had their dinner. They enjoyed each others company and for a little while at least put all of the drama out of theirs minds. At the end of the night, they all said their goodnights, and Robert and Holly went upstairs to their room.
"What a great surprise that was." Robert smiled as he sat down on the bed with Holly.
"It was and really needed after everything that happened today. You know you are going to have to fill her in on what has been going on." Holly took Robert's hand into hers.
"I will, I just wanted a little happy family time tonight. It was how it always should have been. Even better since we have Tiff and Annie here with us." Robert gave Holly a smile.
"It was a wonderful night. You know I'm very proud of you." Holly told Robert.
Robert looked a bit confused. "For what?"
"The way you look after this town and us, I can tell you are trying your hardest even though it's quite a challenge." Holly replied.
"Still good for me." Robert gave her a kiss. "You know what time it is?" He asked with a grin.
Holly couldn't help but smile back at him. "Oh I can tell by that look you are thinking of..." She leaned in. "A good nights sleep." She teased.
Robert laughed. "Maybe at some point, after a sauna and a shower."
"You know that's rarely ever how that goes, but how can I resist you?" Holly gave him a kiss.
