"Think about this moment. Think about it a lot."

That was what Erin had said to Jay. And he had thought about it a lot. In fact, he hadn't been able to stop thinking about it. Pressed against the wall outside her hotel room, with her hand covering his mouth and her lips lightly kissing the side of his neck. The more he recalled it, the more impactful the moment felt.

In that moment, Erin had blown away any doubts that she wanted sex with him, and possibly more – something deeper and more meaningful. She had also revealed a lie. She had told him she had been messing with him when she had told him she wanted to be the dominant one in their exchanges. That plainly wasn't true. She did want to dominate. The way she had tightly covered him mouth, and kept her hand there for longer than she had needed to in order to stop him talking, had shown exactly what her intent was. It had clearly been a big turn on for her. To Jay's own surprise, it had been one for him too. He could still clearly recall how the leather glove had felt over his mouth, and how it had been impossible to talk. It was a power dynamic he had enjoyed being on the other side of in the past. Now he knew what the receiving end was like. It made him get hard when he thought about it.

He wanted to experience both sides of that particular coin with Erin. He wanted her to silence him and kiss him again, likely wearing those sexy leather gloves that she enjoyed modelling for him. But he also wanted to tie her up and tape her mouth shut. He'd had that fantasy about her before things had even started to happen between them. Now his balls ached as soon as he thought about it.

His achy balls would have to be forgotten about though, if possible. It was Monday, and that meant another Raw episode to take part in. Naturally, Erin would be in close proximity all night, as his on-screen wife. Having arrived at the arena, it was time to find out specifically what was lined up by the writers.

Jay went to catering, where he could read over the script while enjoying a cup of coffee. He noticed Raquel Gonzalez and Zelina Vega were in there, but he didn't join them because they were sitting with Gabby Dawson and Hailey Upton, two people Jay had no interest in talking to. He went and sat at an empty table at the back of the room.

His part of the show was to wrestle Kevin Atwater, he discovered. He looked forward to that, as they always worked well together. Then he looked for Erin's name in the script.

"Interesting," he muttered moments later. Erin was to go to the ring dressed in the same manner as Dr Sylvie Brett. She would call the doctor out, only to say that she could do the job as well as Brett could, and then fire her. He read over the rest of the scene, a smile slowly appearing on his face.

"You look happy. How was date night?"

Jay tried to look like Raquel Gonzalez hadn't made him jump with her intrusion. "How does someone your size move around so quietly?" he demanded of her.

"One of my many talents," she said with a grin, sitting opposite him. "Thought you might have come over when you walked in." She seemed a little offended, perhaps thinking that he was distancing himself from the beginnings of a friendship that they had laid down the other night.

"I thought about it, but you were busy talking."

Raquel took that at face value. "Fair enough. You didn't answer my question. How was date night?"

Fully hot, at the end, he thought. But he wasn't going to say that. That moment would stay between him and Erin. "We had a nice night. A very nice night, actually. Turned out that you were right on the mark about the company being the important thing."

Raquel smiled. "Then I figure you owe me a beer."

"Maybe I do," he conceded. It felt weird to be thinking about going out for drinks with a friend from work. That was the kind of thing he had actively avoided doing for a long time. But of late he was going with what life was throwing at him, and it seemed to be working out okay.

When Jay met up with Erin a bit later in the day, the first time he had seen her since the date and it's hot ending, he found himself smiling the moment he saw her. They had arranged by text to meet in an empty office in a part of the building away from the busy areas around the locker rooms and Hank's office. They had some privacy, which wasn't easy to come by.

To Jay's frustration, she was already in her attire for the evening – boring black pants and a WWE fleece jacket. It did make her look a lot like the Dr Sylvie Brett character, but it wasn't an attractive look.

"Yes, I know. Not very glamorous, is it?" Erin said, apparently having figured out what he was thinking.

"You look good no matter what you wear."

"Oh god," Erin said, cringing. "That was awful, Jay."

Jay felt a little hurt. He had been trying to pay her a serious compliment. Apparently it hadn't come out right.

"I hear you and Raquel have a friendship going," Erin said next, sounding happy about it. "She told me about it earlier. I know she's with Z, and on the team with Bayley, but I don't think she has many other friends here."

"You're her friend," Jay pointed out.

Erin reflected on that for a second. "Yeah, I guess I am. She's fun to be around. You wouldn't expect someone who looks like her to have a sense of humour like she has."

"Can we stop talking about Raquel? I haven't seen you since Thursday, and I feel like we should be talking about how that night ended."

She moved closer to him, and a sultry grin appeared on her face. "You've been thinking about that, huh? Like I told you to."

"As if I could not have. That was a huge turn on, Erin. It did leave me with as many questions as answers though. You weren't just playing games when you said about wanting to be in charge of me, were you? I mean, that's actually a thing for you during sex, right?"

Her cheeks started to go red. "I don't know what you mean."

Jay laughed. "Oh, bullshit. Don't try to back out now. You told me you wanted me to think about it. I did. That mouth covering thing you did was very deliberate. It's a domination thing. You want to know how I know? Because it's actually a thing for me too. I've already pictured you tied up, with duct tape over your mouth."

There, he thought, have something to think about yourself.

"Wow. That's fully hot," Erin breathed, her cheeks now even redder. "I had no idea you'd be into something like that."

While he had her on the back foot, Jay leaned in and kissed her on the lips. "Well you can think about it now. Think about it a lot."

Loving being able to throw her own line back at her, Jay quickly left the office, leaving her standing there. Turnabout really was fair play.

On the show that night, Erin walked to the ring dressed exactly like Sylvie Brett, even including the black nitrile gloves that the doctor had to wear. Jay noticed that, wondering if Erin had a thing for wearing gloves. She did seem to do it quite often. He was by her side in the ring, but in this segment she was the only one with any talking to do.

"I'm out here to address Dr Sylvie Brett," Erin began. The fans were already booing her, trying to drown her out. "Shut up while I'm talking!" she shouted at them.

Good work, Jay thought as the boos inevitably got louder. Erin was getting very accomplished at playing her character, and getting the fans to hate her.

"Brett, get your ass out here," Erin demanded once the boos began to subside.

It didn't take long for Sylvie to walk out onto the stage. She didn't have any entrance music because as far as the fans were concerned she wasn't a wrestler. The look on her face showed that she was a long way from pleased about being called out to the ring by the boss.

"Come on, I haven't got all night!" Erin snapped at Sylvie as she walked down the ramp.

Jay stood there looking like he knew what his wife had planned, and he was going to enjoy it.

Sylvie got into the ring, and Erin immediately started haranguing her about being useless at her job, and demanding to know who she thought she was, after she had squared up to Erin the previous week.

"The truth is, Brett, I'm pretty sure any other doctor could do your job better than you. In fact I'm pretty sure I could do your job better than you do. That's why I'm out here in this ridiculous getup that you wear. I'm also out here because I have the distinct pleasure of telling you that... you're fired!" She yelled the final two words right into Sylvie's face.

Jay burst out laughing, enjoying the moment almost as much as Erin, who had an evil grin on her face.

But then Sylvie snatched the microphone from Erin. That act alone drew a cheer.

"Well, Erin, if I'm fired there's nothing stopping me doing this..."

Before Erin could react, Sylvie punched her square in the face. Erin went down to the mat like a bag of hammers. In character, she had been knocked clean out. The fans went wild in celebration as Sylvie quickly ran from the ring before Jay could grab her.

Giving up on the chase, Jay instead hurried over to Erin to check on her. Finding her unconscious, he carefully lifted her up in his arms and carried her from the ring, a look of concern on his face.

The fans showed what they thought of what had happened by chanting 'you deserve it' at Erin as Jay carried her up the ramp.

After carrying her through the curtain to the backstage area, Jay lowered Erin and helped her to stand on her feet. "You okay?" he asked her, spotting that her left cheek was turning red.

"Shoot, I'm sorry, Erin," Sylvie said, coming over with a look of concern on her face. "I actually hit you pretty hard there."

"I told you to hit me, Sylvie. It's fine," Erin assured her. "I might not be a wrestler like you, but I want my stuff to look good. I can take a punch."

"Good for you," Jay said, feeling a sense of pride in her, although he wasn't sure it was his place to feel that way.

"Thanks," Erin said, giving him one of those impossibly beautiful smiles.

"I'm going to enjoy working this storyline a lot," Sylvie said.

Now it was her turn for one of Erin's special smiles. "I already am."

A/N: I got some feedback from people enjoying seeing Jay and Raquel start to become friends, so I'm going to be showing more of that.

Jay called out Erin's dominating behaviour from the end of their date night, and he told her about his own desire to dominate her. How do you think she will respond once she has had some time to think about it?

And what do you make of the ongoing storyline between Erin and Sylvie?
