"Hey, Tony, when is the shipment coming? Are the sol naciente known for having the best weapons in vacuo?"
"In time, if we want to stand a chance in Vale, we need to wait as for now, they never failed me before, and today won't be that day," Tony said back to them and saw almost a hundred henchmen. But as soon his eyes met the warehouse gate, they heard a knock, and they let in with it; a massive trailer had hundreds of guns, swords, and almost every single weapon that could arm a small army. But the power suddenly cut off before Tony or anyone could relish the supplies.
Tony sighs, but before he can bark any orders, they hear a door opening, and the sound of the ground starts to rumble; they see in through the open door a red and blue hue showing them two people in complete a silhouette figure one is a short woman who has lean build with big, puffy hair and on her hands is a staff and beside her is an average height man with an overall build while having a slick back hair and one of his hands holding a macuahuitl." Everyone inside, please put your weapons down, or we will use force." one of the police officers said with a megaphone.
"No, we have been severing for generations, so this will end in two ways: we leave and never be found again, or this would be a blood bath."
The officer sighed," Cualli, Aja, please engage." Then, the two people whispered to each other, and the man started to give a soft orange glow, placed his hand on her shoulder, giving her the same soft color, and nodded until they split in different directions. They all start to shoot at the two people but just keep on, barely landing on them until Aja rushes to a pillar, and beneath her, massive vines shoot from the ground, grappling and tieing themselves to the armed henchmen and at the other side of the building they see Cualli open his hand and start to summon an orange transparent, great shield and charging at them tanking the bullet.
Once he gets close enough, he shields bash one of them, dodges one of the henchmen's guns, and cuts right through them, angling his weapon on one of them and pulls back, leaving a deep cut before pulling out his revolver and sees put in an ice dust bullet and with each shot froze either there legs and hands until the only sound there is the groans of those Cualli and Aja beat and the office door slamming close and the officers rushing inside. Cualli sighed and walked to Aja, who was still behind the pillar." Hey Aja, you ok? Did I give you too much aura this time?" She nods yes, and Cualli picks her up," Yeah, sorry that I thought your body could handle ten percent."
"Yeah, but it also amplifies the semblance by how much you give, so what I did was about ten times as strong as if I had done it normally." Then the lights cut back on." You think Jean is here since she has been in that case for years?"
Before either of them could say anything, they see Jean, an average build with short red hair, kicking down the door and dragging Tony by the hair, leaving the building." I guess that's our answer. Let's see if she could give us a lift back home."
Cualli and Aja leave the building and see Jean laughing to herself," Oh gods, finally, this shit is over, oh god, yes!" Jean said to herself before noticing the duo." great work, great fucking work." she then went for a hug." I know you two are about to be in your second year at Beacon Academy, but thanks for using your break to help me out."
"As much I could hug back, Aja is in my arms," Cualli said to Jean, and she pulled away from the hug.
"Yeah, sorry, but Aja, are you okay? You two need a ride to the department." Jean said to the two.
"Yeah, that sounds good, and we were about to ask about that. Also, I am fine; my aura is overwhelmed for now. I just need a minute, but I am fine," Aja said back to her.
Jean sighed," Cualli, you need to learn how much you should give to others," she said to Caulli. "But I won't chew you out today. I am in a good mood and lucky I brought my vehicle. I will let the rest deal with them," Jean said before leading them to her car and going to the police department.
Once inside, Aja starts to regain her footing before finding a chair to sit on," Hey, Jean, could you watch Aja for a minute? I need to see if I could find some sugar to speed this up." Cualli said to Jean, who gave the nod. Cualli ran off, looking at each room to find a vending machine or anything that had anything sweet until he saw the door opening and saw Professor Goodwitch and a woman behind her black dress consisting of a long-sleeved blouse with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, over which is a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a matching skirt with red lining and a red petticoat. She also wears a pair of thick black tights that fade to red near the bottom and black combat boots with red laces, red trims around the top, red soles, and silver eyes. But he shook his head and found a plate of cookies in one of the rooms, as did Headmaster Ozpin." H-headmaster, I never thought to see you here!" he said surprisedly.
Ozpin turns to Cualli." oh Cualli, sol naciente, what brings you to this night?" Ozpin said to Cualli.
"Oh, umm, Aja and I just finished a mission, and we just brought down Tony and his whole organization. Aja is tired because I accidentally overdid how much aura I gave her, so her sugar is low. So I was wondering if I could steal a cookie from you." Cualli said to Ozpin while eyeing the cookies.
Ozpin passes Cualli a cookie," Well, congratulations on your mission, even if Aja is physically tired because of your semblance." ozpin said to Cualli.
"Thanks, but I have to go back to Aja; thanks for the cookie, ozpin," he said to Ozpin before leaving the room and going to Aja, who was in the same place." hey, Aja, I found a cookie for you."
She then took it." Thanks, Cualli," before eating it," Oh, and Jean told me to say to you that she has our new huntsman suits in the other room,"
"That's good also, where is she?"
"Oh, right. She is integrating Tony to see if she can find any connections between him and your old clan," Aja said back to Cualli while her breath returned to normal." Okay, I think I am okay now. Are you ready to see our new outfits?" Cualli nodded yes, and Aja led him to a room with two surprisingly light suitcases."Do you want to try them out now, or do you want to surprise each other when our semester starts next week?"
"Let's surprise each other. Wait, what time is it right?" Cualli checked his scroll and saw it was past midnight," shit, so I need to go now. We need to find Jean and give us a lift back home." cualli said to himself before the two left the room and saw her right outside the building taking a smoke break," Hey Jean we need a ride back. Can you take us, please?"
"Sure, and I needed to talk to you guys privately anyway." After saying that, she put out the cigarette and walked to the car. Cualli and Aja followed, and soon, the only sound was the tire rolling down the street.." Thanks to your two help, we got some answers from Tony and had close connections to the sol naciente, but that's what I want to discuss now. A new player named Roman Torchwick is coming in. Since Tony is gone now, he will take on the power vacuum."
"OK, but why do you want to tell us this privately since this Roman person can be a big player if Tony is gone?" Cualli said back to Jean.
"I brought him up because if what I think is right, Midas may make a professional business relationship. I know you have a grudge against Midas and the clan, and I know you will ignore this, but I feel like if you go after Roman and hurt Midas's pocket, it won't end well for you."
"But we did the same thing with Tony, and are you fine?" Cualli asked Jean.
"Yes, and the reason is that they are a family Mifia rather than an international organization that Midas controls!" Jean said to Cualli until she took a deep breath."Just please don't do anything rash if you take any action."
After she said that, Cualli nodded, looked out in the window, and reached the countryside in the blink of an eye, dropping her off and starting to reach Cualli'si home." hey, can you stop here? I can walk back from here."
"Are you sure? It's about a minute of driving," Jean said to Cualli in a confused tone.
"Yeah, I am sure. Thank you for the new outfits," Cualli said to Jean, eyes scanning his suitcases. Jean nodded and dropped him off at the roadside. Cualli took a deep breath. "Okay, Cualli, make sure Glynda is asleep and doesn't know I'm gone," he whispered before starting towards the farm. Minutes later, he reached the massive, darkened house. "Looks like she's asleep. Just need to get back to my house and try out my suit," he muttered, approaching a small cabin.
As he entered, the lamp flicked on, illuminating Glynda Goodwitch, sitting on the bed, her arms crossed and expression stern. "I'm assuming there's a very good reason you've been playing hero in the city," she said, calm and commanding. "And before you defend your actions, Ozpin has already informed me about your escapades with Aja and the chief. I need to understand why you're so intent on undermining Midas's operations, especially after you know how dangerous he is."
Cualli, slightly taken aback, responded, "I know, but you knew I applied to the police over the break after my finals. And you know why I target Midas. I was dealing with a lot when I found you, and it took me time to venture out on my own."
Glynda's voice softened slightly, "I understand the need to feel empowered, Cualli, but seeking strength by confronting dangers like Midas is reckless, not heroic. You're 17, about to enter your next year at Beacon, about to become a team leader. You can't afford these risks—not just for your safety but for the safety of others." She paused, her gaze falling on the suitcase. "Is that a new outfit?" she asked, her curiosity breaking through her stern demeanor.
"Yes, it's a new huntsman outfit from the police after the mission," Cualli admitted, opening the suitcase to reveal sleek, angular chest armor and a dark blue, detachable cloak designed for camouflage and protection. "Part of me is still angry, still afraid... I'm struggling with it all."
Glynda stood and approached, examining the armor. "It's clear that your efforts with Aja didn't go unnoticed." She reached out, her touch gentle as she inspected the sunflower emblem. "But Cualli, please, leave Midas to those better equipped to handle him. Move forward, not back."
She embraced him briefly, her hug conveying both warning and warmth. "Consider what lies ahead, not just what you've left behind," she advised before stepping back.
Cualli watched her leave and just looked at his outfit. "Never thought taking down a mafia would lead to this," he mused, kicking the suitcase aside and turning off the light.
