Twilight Sparkle was inside of her castle reading some books. She didn't have a whole lot to do today, except preparing for a visit to the School for Gifted Unicorns to give a lecture about cutie mark magic. Spike was on the other side of the library picking up some books and notepads to take with them. He wanted to make sure that they were prepared for anything. He also packed some snacks for Twilight and himself as well.

"Here we go, all set for our trip to Canterlot." Spike said. "Good. Just going through some final notes to prepare for the big speech at the School for Gifted Unicorns." Twilight said. "I can't wait to hear your speech, Twilight." Spike said. "You always make the best speeches."

Twilight blushed happily at that comment and finished gathering all her notes for Canterlot. Spike jumps onto her back and she flies straight towards the train station. They purchased their tickets and gave them to the conductor. Then they boarded the train and headed straight for Canterlot. Once the train stopped at the station, Twilight and Spike got off and made their way to the School for Gifted Unicorns. When they finally got to the school, Twilight took a deep breath before entering the building.

"Well, this is it, Spike. My first class lecture." She said, nervously. "You can do it, Twilight. I believe in you." Spike said. "Thanks, Spike." Twilight said.

The two friends headed into the school and went to the classroom where Twilight will be teaching her class. As a group of unicorns were taking their seats, Spike placed the notes on the desk so Twilight could read them. Twilight saw the upcoming students for her lecture and gulped. She wasn't sure if she was ready to give the speech, but she couldn't let Princess Celestia down. She was the one who asked Twilight to give the speech, so Twilight decided to do her best.

"Good morning, everypony. Welcome to my class." She said, confidently. "Today I will be teaching you about my favorite subject: magic."

As Twilight started her speech, she began to talk about all kinds of magic. This also included the types that lead to the creation of cutie marks. She talked about how and when a pony gets a cutie mark. Then she told them the story of how she and her friends got their cutie marks. She told them how she and her friends are all connected to each other by their marks and friendship. But as Twilight continued her speech, she caught a glimpse of what appears to be Starlight Glimmer in the audience. But when she looked again, Starlight was gone. Twilight was stumped, but nevertheless, continued moving forward with her lecture.

After class was finished, all the unicorn students left for recess. Twilight and Spike gathered all their notes and left the School for Gifted Unicorns. But Twilight was feeling a bit anxious. She had believed that she'd seen Starlight in the school. But she was so sure if she had truly returned, she didn't know what to think. But she knew that as long as she had her friends, she would be ready for whatever happens.

"Are you sure it was her?" Spike asked. "I'm not sure. I thought I saw Starlight in the classroom. But when I looked again, she was gone." Twilight said. "Well I heard that she wasn't too happy the last time you saw her." Spike said. "We had to do something! She stole everypony's cutie mark and tried to do the same with us." Twilight said.

The two friends headed straight for the train station and purchased tickets for Ponyville. They gave the conductor their tickets and boarded the train headed for home. Spike took out a book to read while Twilight stared out the window. She was still feeling anxious about Starlight. She wondered what she was doing in her class and what she could be up to.

The train stopped in Ponyville and everypony got off. Twilight and Spike headed straight for home. But Spike saw that Twilight was still thinking about Starlight.

"Are you still thinking about her, Twilight?" He asked. "Of course. I can't get her out of my mind." Twilight said. "What is she planning for us? I can't stop her evil schemes if I don't know what they are."

Spike felt sorry for Twilight. He wanted to help her but he felt helpless. After all: he was a dragon and she was a pony. Dragons don't get cutie marks so he didn't know the feeling of having or losing one. But he would try to support his friend in any way possible. No matter what, he would always stick by Twilight's side. Their other friends would also be right by their sides as they've always been.

"Starlight could be trying to find out how to get her revenge on us." Twilight said. "Or... maybe she heard about your class and wanted to hear your big speech." Spike suggested. "Whatever it was, she's still out there somewhere doing who knows what." Twilight said. "Should we tell Princess Celestia and ask her if she could track her location?" Spike asked. "No, thanks. I'm positive that we'll find her." Twilight said. "And as long as I have my friends by my side, we'll be prepared for anything Starlight has planned for us."

That made Twilight feel a little better. She was confident that they'll find Starlight and try to reason with her. She didn't know what their plan was if they did see Starlight again, but Twilight still saw some hope in her. She was determined to get through to her eventually. Spike saw the glimmer of hope in Twilight and smiled. He felt better knowing that she was feeling happy again. He always felt happy whenever his friends were happy. They both hoped that nothing bad would happen for the rest of the day.

Meanwhile, Kima flew to an undisclosed location all by herself. She made sure that no one else was around and that nobody had followed her. She was supposed to meet her contact at this location. She landed at the exact spot where the mysterious pony said to meet her. She waited for a few minutes but no one had shown up. Kima wondered if she had arrived too late. Her mysterious contact had to be around here somewhere.

"Hope I'm not late. I was really looking forward to meeting my new friend today." She said to herself. "She promised to teach me how to use some of her magic."

Kima thought back to how she first met her new friend. This pony said that she had the power to remove cutie marks from a pony's flank. She asked the pony how she learned to do that and the pony agreed to teach her. But she wanted Kima to do some work for her first and then she would tell her everything. Kima hopes to use the magic to remove the cutie marks of some bullies she knows. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes.

Kima turned around and looked at the bushes. The rustling continues until a unicorn pony comes out and greets her. This unicorn was none other than Starlight Glimmer herself. She had made her return and she has convinced Kima to team up with her to get rid of every single cutie mark in Equestria.

"Oh! It's you, Starlight. I thought you'd never arrive." Kima said. "Now I wouldn't let you down, would I?" Starlight said. "I did everything you asked. So now, will you teach me how to use your cutie mark removing spell?" Kima asked her. "I believe now you are ready to know the secret of my spell." Starlight said.

Kima was overjoyed as now Starlight is going to teach her how to use her spell so she could use it to remove the cutie marks of Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, and all other bullies in Equestria.

"I sure hope I'll be able to get a handle of this spell." Kima stated. "Don't worry, Kima. With my help, you'll be able to master this spell in no time." Starlight said. "Then you can use it to take away cutie marks from those nasty bullies who hurt your friends."
