Jackson, April and Harriet celebrate April's birthday together.
April 22, 2022:
Jackson walked with Harriet toward April's house, he rang the bell and April answered the door.
"We're here," Jackson said.
"Hello my little ladybug," April said to Harriet.
"Mommy, Harriet said, she ran to April and jumped in her arms.
"Come in," April said.
Jackson walked into the house, he gave April a quick kiss. April put Harriet down and she ran to the living room.
"Sorry we're late," Jackson said.
"Why are you guys late?" April asked.
"I had some things to take care of," Jackson said.
"And does that have anything to do with tomorrow," April asked.
"Tomorrow? What's tomorrow?" Jackson asked, he looked at April, who gave him a look. "Oh yes, it's your birthday tomorrow."
"Listen, I appreciate you wanting to do something, but don't make a spectacle of it," April said.
"I promise."
"And what about your mom?"
"She's in Seattle."
"That doesn't matter, I'm sure she'll call someone at the Foundation to have something orgasized," April said.
"You think?" Jackson asked.
"We're talking about Catherine Fox here," April said.
"Good point," Jackson said. "No, she's not gonna do anything you don't want and if you want I'll call her later and tell her that."
April gave Jackson a kiss. "Thank you."
"No problem."
"Would you like to stay for dinner?" April asked.
"I'd love to," Jackson said.
After dinner, April put Harriet to bed. After she did so she walked to the living room and saw that Jackson was still there.
"You're still here," April said.
"Do you want me to go?" Jackson asked.
"No, I would really like it if you stay," April said.
"If that's what the birthday girl wants, I'll stay here," Jackson said.
"I'm not the birthday girl yet," April reminded him.
Two hours later April was in her bed, Jackson walked into the room and got into bed and the two of them snuggled up close.
"I called my mother and made it absolutely clear to her not to go do anything," Jackson said.
"Thank you," April said and she kissed his cheek.
"And that also counts to you," Jackson said.
"What do you mean?" Aprill asked.
Jackson looked at April. "Tomorrow is your day, so I'm going to spoil you."
"And what do you have planned?" April asked.
"You'll have to wait till tomorrow, but I promise you I'm gonna try to make sure you have a really nice day," Jackson said.
"You don't have to go out of your way, just the idea that you want to do something for me makes me happy," April said.
"Let's get some sleep," Jackson said.
Jackson and April kissed each other good night and then went to sleep.
April 23, 2022:
April slowly started to wake up, she looked next to her and saw that Jackson was gone. There were voices coming from outside her room.
"Hello?"
"Now."
The door opened, Harriet came running into the room and jumped onto April's bed.
"Happy birthday mommy," Harriet said.
"Thank you Ladybug," April said.
"Daddy and I have something for you," Harriet said.
"You do?" April asked.
Jackson walked into the room with a large tray. "Breakfast in bed for the birthday girl."
"That's very sweet of you," April said.
Jackson put the tray down by April, he sat down on the other side of the bed.
"And I arranged that we have to day off," Jackson said.
"Yay!" Harriet cheered.
"Are you going to tell me what we're going to do today?" April asked.
"That's still a surprise," Jackson said.
After Jackson, April and Harriet had finished breakfast, they went a head and changed.
"Okay Jackson what's surprise?" April asked.
"You'll see that soon enough, Jackson said, he walked over to April, he grabbed a blindfold and tried to cover her eyes with it.
"What are you doing?" April asked, she pulled the blindfold away.
"You can't see where we're going yet, that's why I've the blindfold," Jackson said.
"But, uh...," April began.
"No buts," Jackson said. "You trust me, right?"
"Of course I trust you, April said.
"Good, Jackson said.
Jackson put the blindfold on April. He April and Harriet left the house. After a short ride, the three were in the park.
"Are we almost there yet?"
"We are here."
Jackson removed the blindfold from April and then she saw a large picnic blanket lying on the grass.
"A picnic," April said.
"Yes, a special birthday picnic for and that basket is filled with all your favorite snacks," Jackson said.
"This is very sweet of you," April said.
Jackson gestured to the picnic blanket. "Ladies."
April and Harriet sat down on the picnic rug and Jackson joined them. From the basket Jackson grabbed two glasses and special cup for Harriet and filled them with fruit juice.
"To you."
"To mommy."
"Harriet don't you have some for mommy?" Jackson asked.
Harriet nodded her head, she opened her bag and took out a homemade bracelet. "For you mommy."
"Thank you sweetie," April said. "Did you make this yourself?"
"Uh-huh," Harriet said.
"It's beautiful sweetie," April said and she gave her daughter a kiss on the head.
"I also have a present for you," Jackson said.
Jackson handed a small box to April, she unwrapped it and it contained a small silver butterfly necklace with 3 small stones.
"It's beautiful," April said.
"Yeah."
"Yes, thank you very much."
"And those little stones are my birthstone, Harriet's and yours, that way you will always have us with no matter where you are," Jackson said.
"These are both really beautiful gifts," April said.
Jackson pointed at the necklace. "Shall I?"
"Yeah."
April handed the necklace to Jackson, she put her hair out of the way and he put the necklace on her. April put Harriet's bracelet on her wrist.
"This is the best birthday I've ever had," April said.
"Yes?" Jackson asked.
"Yes, because I get to celebrate the day with the two people I love the most," April said.
