Somethings wrong.

He isn't entirely sure what's wrong, but something is wrong. Alice hasn't been around in a while. Like a lot longer than usual. It's normally a few days before Alice can come home because of her work assignment. But even then, he spends his time split between Alice and Jill. He likes being here with Jill this is his home. Jill is one of his two favourite people.

But he likes the mansion as well. He gets to play with Alice all day and they have a huge garden where he can run and roll around until his heart is content. He doesn't like Spencer though. Something about the man rubs him the wrong way. And he certainly doesn't like the way he looks at Alice. He's made that know much to Alice's amusement.

He likes Lisa though. She sometimes pops out of the staircase and gets to spend time with him and Alice. She likes to give him treats. More than Alice allows at times but that there little secret. Other times he and Alice go on the train to see everyone. He mostly spends his time there with Lisa or with Rolf. He's in charge of the dogs down in the underground workplace. He gets to play with other dogs as well. They are much bigger dogs but it's fun. He would prefer to be with Alice and Jill at home though.

However, lately Jill has been upset about something. He hears her sometimes crying in her room. She also doesn't seem to go to work anymore. She's just been staying home with him the past few days. He likes that. They get to spend more time together. But she is constantly making calls and asking where Alice is.

So clearly something has happened, but he doesn't understand what. Other then that, Alice isn't around anymore. But why wouldn't she come around. Jill is her mate and humans don't tend to leave their mates. Nor would Alice leave him. He's her good boy.

Jill went out last night and hasn't come back yet. It's been a whole night. That is not normal. Jill is always back so why didn't she come back last night... He really needs to use the bathroom.

As if hearing that though the door opens and Jill comes in. Excitedly he runs up to her glad to know he hasn't been abandoned. "Hey, Rhodie." She greets offering him pets and kisses. He licks and jumps up at her making her laugh. A rare sound recently.

Barking she lets him out the backdoor so he can finally use the bathroom. Inside he can hear her turn on the police scanner and listen to everything that is happening in the city. Which seems to be a lot. The news is on in the background showing people attacking each other in the streets. The scanner has voice after voice calling for backup and help and Jill sits down as he hops on the sofa next to her.

He rests his head on her lap and watches everything taking place. Why is this happening. What is happening. Why is everyone suddenly trying to hurt each other. He must have whimpered because Jill placed a kiss on the top of his head. "Don't worry boy everything is going to be ok." She pauses in her stroking as the shouting gets louder on the scanner. "But we can't stay here anymore."

Wait what. What do you mean we can't stay here anymore. Where are we going. What about Alice. Is she going to meet us there. We can't leave her behind.

"I know boy," Jill says trying to soothe his worries. I don't want to leave either, but we need to get out of here. It's not safe for us anymore. Not with Umbrella running things and whatever the hell it is they have unleashed on the city."

Umbrella. He's heard that name before. Alice and Jill have talked about Umbrella a lot. Neither of them seemed to like them. He knows some people from Umbrella came to the house a few days ago. They offered Jill money and a job if she didn't talk about something. Jill told them to go to hell and asked where Alice was. They left pretty quickly after that.

But it seems like Umbrella has done something bad... Is that why Alice isn't here. Did Umbrella hurt her. He growls at the thought.

"I know bud. I hate those fuckers too." She grabs her gun and holster attaching it to her waist. "Come on Rhodie." She doesn't grab his leash, but he follows her obediently out the door. Across the street some guy is being attacked as a chunk of his shoulder is being bit off.

Jill without hesitation shoots the attacker and the man who is now bleeding holds his wound and looks at Jill in fear before turning and sprinting down the street. "You're welcome," Jill mutters under her breath.

Quickly they make their way to Jill's car, and he hops in the back. Chaos echoes all around him. Gunshots, screaming, crashing, loud bangs and fire engulf all his senses. It's too loud. Far far too loud. He tries lying down and burying his head under a pillow to try and block out the noise.

After what seems like ages they come to a stop. He follows Jill into the police station and it's just as it was outside. With screaming and people fighting. However, this time the only gunshots come from Jill who with ease pulls out her pistol and shoots seven people. He's aware that Jill's boss comes over shouting something at her as he trails behind her to her desk. His food and water bowl are still there. Taking a few sips of water one of the dead bodies draws his attention.

It smells wrong. He doesn't seem human. It's a rotting smell he really doesn't like. Two final gunshots echo around the room redrawing his attention. "I'm getting out of the city. I suggest you do the same." Jill warns heading towards the exit again. "Rhodie come." And he runs over to her and follows him out of the police station ignoring the cries for help coming over the radio.

Existing the police station the sounds of what is happening out there hit him again. Only this time it seems to have gotten louder. Maybe Jill was right. It's best to get out of here before things get even worse.

But where will there go. And where is Alice. They can't leave her here. Shouldn't they try to find her. Maybe they should go to the Mansion. It's outside of the city and safe there. Alice, Lisa and the other dogs will be there. Surely that's the best place to go. He wants to see Alice. He knows Jill wants to see her as well.

Hoping back into the car he watches out the window as people keep hurting each other. What is happening out there. Glancing back over to Jill he wonders where they are going and what happens next for them.
