Theme: Real Fear vs Imaginary Fear
Time Period: A flashback/An alternate universe
(A strong kick from John (a baby yet to be born) jolts Sarah (Emilia Clarke) wide awake in the morning. Kyle (Jai Courtney) can sense Sarah's distress)
Sarah (clutching her stomach in pain): Not now, baby
Kyle (rubbing Sarah's stomach): What is the matter? Is it the baby?
Sarah (getting out of bed): I have to use the bathroom
Kyle (noticing a big wet spot on Sarah's side of the bed): Sarah, you wet the bed. Your water must've broke.
Sarah ( frantic as she continues to experience more leaking): OH GOD! The baby is coming and I am not ready.
Pops (holding Sarah): We are in this thing together
(There is no time for Sarah, Kyle, and Pops to go to the hospital. They prepare themselves for a home birth. Sarah refuses to listen to her body that can't contain the baby much longer. Sarah doesn't want to give birth because she fears she might die in childbirth.)
Scene: The bathroom-The bathtub
Pops (observing and studying Sarah): You are fully dilated. Your body is transitioning over to the pushing stage.
Sarah (resisting the urge to push): The world is not ready for John. I am not ready for him. I can't do this. I will not do this.
Kyle (choked up): I know you fear dying in childbirth. If you don't deliver soon, you and John can die.
Sarah (grabbing a hold of Kyle): It hurts and burns
Kyle (rubbing Sarah's stomach): You will feel better after you deliver our son
Sarah (giving into her pain, she begins bearing down and pushing): GRR..AHA...AHA...AHA
Kyle (providing extra body support for Sarah): I got you, babe
Sarah (still crying and screaming): AHA...AHA...AHA...AHA
Kyle (applying pressure on Sarah's stomach): Sarah, you are doing a beautiful job. Keep on pushing.
Sarah (stretching and straining herself): AHA...AHA...AHA..AHA
Kyle (witnessing the baby crown): John is almost here
Sarah (exhausted and on the verge of losing consciousness): Is John out of my body yet?
Pops (places the crying baby on Sarah's stomach): You and Kyle have a beautiful healthy baby boy
Kyle (emotional, he kisses Sarah): I love you
Sarah (crying tears of joy): I love you too
(The flashback ends. Sarah (Lena Headey) worries about John's safety throughout the years. She is very overprotective of him (Thomas Dekker)).
