Theme: What if John was born prematurely (six months early)

Time Period: A Flashback

Place: The Doctor's office

Situation: Sarah's last doctor appointment before giving birth

The doctor (checking Sarah's blood pressure): Sarah, your blood pressure is sky high. This is not good.

Sarah (Emilia Clarke (six months pregnant with John)): I blame my stress on work

The doctor: You almost had a miscarriage earlier in the pregnancy. You should take it easy especially at work. Stress can cause premature labor.

Sarah: I understand

The Doctor: I know how much you want and love this baby. I hope you don't end up having a miscarriage or giving birth prematurely.

Kyle ((Jai Courtney) holding Sarah's hand): Honey, you should listen to the doctor and take it easy.

Sarah: It will be hard but I will try to worry less

(Pops knows the final outcome of their situation. He stays silent because he doesn't want to worry or frighten Sarah and Kyle.)

Time Period: The Present Reality

Place: A Baby Store

Action: Pops, Kyle, and Sarah (still six months pregnant) are buying clothes and supplies for their precious Baby John

Sarah (showing off cute baby boy clothes): Do you think John will love these clothes?

Kyle (amused): Yes

Sarah (placing the clothes in the cart): We will buy them then

Kyle (rubbing Sarah's stomach): I am looking forward to John's birth

Sarah (admiring her growing baby bump): He will arrive in three months. I hope I will have an easy and quick delivery.

Kyle: You and John will survive the birthing process

Pops (putting a lot of stuff into the cart): Here are more clothes and supplies for John

Sarah and Kyle: Thanks, Pops

Pops: You are welcome

(Suddenly, bloody chaos breaks out in the store. The gunman is an evil cyborg from the future. The cyborg desires to kill John before he is born. Pops, Kyle, and Sarah have no time to pay for their items. They head straight for their car outside. Besides stress, an unexpected fall sends Sarah into premature labor. Sarah is caught off guard by the breaking of her water. Pops and Kyle rush her to the hospital. Sarah dreads giving birth in the car, but her body has other plans.)

Sarah (reaching the end of her labor): I must push. John is coming right now.

Kyle (sitting in the backseat with Sarah): Please hold on. We are almost to the hospital.

Sarah (struggling through painful contractions): I can't stop John from coming. The birth is imminent and inevitable.

Pops (driving the car): I knew that John would've born prematurely beforehand. I am sorry for withholding this information from you and Kyle.

Kyle: We forgive you, Pops

Sarah (preparing to give birth, she takes off her undergarments): I can feel John. He is super close. I must get him out asap.

Kyle (pulling Sarah's dress up to her knees): You can start pushing then

(Through pain and sorrow, Sarah pushes until she feels a great release. Kyle catches the baby (John) who is extremely small and fragile. Pops keeps his eyes on the road. The doctor and nurses take good care of Sarah and John at the hospital. Pops, Kyle, and Sarah visit John in the NICU everyday. Kyle (Jonathan), Sarah (Lena), and John (Thomas) participate in a March of Dimes event (a race) many years later.)
