Sakura had puked more times than she could count on the journey. "Are you sure you're not pregnant?" Connie had teased her relentlessly every time as she wiped her mouth. She would reply with a snarky retort that put a shame to Hidan's colorful vocabulary. Captain Levi had taken her aside on the second day to speak to her privately. Sakura couldbonly hope that she looked as much 'Sasha' as she could. "Blouse, we do not need you hindering our travel more than you already have," he said, eyebrows pinched with annoyance. "Sorry Captain," she apologized as she feigned an apologetic expression. From what she observed, Humanity's Strongest Soldier had only one emotion to display when he was on duty, apathy. His entire demeanor shifted entirely as he looked at her seriously, catching her off gaurd. "What's wrong? Is there something that you should tell me?"

His eyebrow was slightly raised in question as his eyes roamed over her figure. Sakura felt self conscious that she covered her abdomen with her hands. Did she look fat? She had gained some weight after all. "It's just an angry stomack sir. Nothing too serious," she said as she clenched her stomach tighter. Dread filled her gut as he continued to look at her in an all too assessing manner.

"Tell Springer to keep his hands to himself. You're too young to become parents."

With that he walked off, leaving Sakura gaping like a fish out of water. "Oi, you okay?" Connie said as he jogged over to her. However, she remained unmoving, her eyes trained on the Ackerman. She was snapped out of her momentary stupor when a bun was stuffed into her open mouth. She turned to look at him incredulously. "Figured it was the only way to bring you back to the land of the living," he said with a loop sided grin as he placed his elbow on her shoulder. She avoided him like a plague for the rest of the journey.

She also practised using maneuvering gear during the night when she was on her shift. She was pro by the second night. It wouldn't do for Sasha Blouse to suddenly fail using ODM gear.

The sound of explosions reverberated the entire vicinity, shaking the earth to its core. "Blouse and Springer, you are to take care of the reinforcements. Go north of here. The rest of you, follow me," Levi told them before jumping away with ODM gear. Sakura turned to Connie who nodded at her. They broke apart from the group, going where the reinforcements were said to be. "Will they be okay?" she asked as they ran, panting slightly. Due to her condition, her stamina had decreased greatly but it was nothing she couldn't handle. "Of course they will. We've all been playing at death's door for a long time. This is nothing new," Connie replied. Sakura nodded her head in understanding, turning to look in front. Their suits were different from the others. They wore dark purple spandex body suits which left nothing for the eye to see. They had been running for less than twenty minutes when they encountered the first group of reinforcements. Eren's coordinates had been true after all.

She recognized many faces she had healed during her stay in Marley. She wondered if they remembered her too. They probably didn't. Taking out bombs, the two threw them down at the unsuspecting group from their perch on the rooftops. Smoke covered the vicinity and they took out their rifles. With accurate precision, they shot at the soldiers below. The smoke was designed to reduce their mobility. From where they were, they could clearly see them and watched them drop dead on the ground.

Using maneuvering gear, they took to the rooftops searching for another group. Her keen ninja ears caught the sound of another approaching group from a distance. She closed her eyes as she sensed their chakras. They were going towards the main battle. "There's another group approaching the main battle. Let's take them out and then join the others!" she called over to him over the rush of the wind. "You got it Captain!" he replied with a teasing smirk.

Sakura had her rifle readied and released her rounds as soon as she laid her eyes upon the Warriors. Being a ninja, she buried her emotions on missions, just as she did on this one. She felt terrible that she was killing the very people whose lives she had saved just a few months ago but it was for the best. She had to do it. For her baby. For herself.

She spotted Gabi Braun as she ran in the streets, no doubt looking for something. She left Connie to deal with the rest of the reinforcements as she moved to attack the girl. She had already taken out more than half of the group by herself.

She sent her cables to a nearby tower, propelling her body up and forward. She retracted them whilst she was still in midair, twisting her body backwards and aiming the rifle at the brunette. To an ordinary human, it was an impossible feat but she wasn't no ordinary human, she was a shinobi. "Die you backstabbing bitch," she muttered as she fired her rifle. The shot hit her shoulder and the dark-haired girl dropped to the ground with a pained cry, clutching her injured shoulder. The kunoichi landed on the rooftops and stared at the girl, cursing for missing. As if feeling eyes on her, Gabi turned to look at Sakura.

The two glared at each other. She noted that her face was slowly draining of color and perspiration covered her form. Sakura inclined her head before speeding away towards the battlefield, taking pleasure in the glare the brunette sent her. Connie joined her shortly afterwards. "That was- How were you- Since when are you able to pull such inhumane stunts?! You looked like Captain Levi!" he exclaimed, shock evident on his features, the wind making his face even more shocked. Sakura didn't bother to reply, instead she pushed herself towards the battlefield where she saw the Jaw Titan digging its teeth deep into the Attack Titan.

Sakura sent her cables to the Jaw Titan's nape, intent on wanting to cut its neck but then her tanks ran out of gas in midair. She heard Connie's concerned shout of her fake name but she paid him no attention. Using her enhanced strength, she ripped off the tanks and discarded them along with her blades with one hand . The kunoichi used the momentum she had gained to pull the cables with her other hand and propel herself forward. She let go of the cables when she neared the Titan. Cocking her fist back, she aimed at its neck.

"SHANNARO!"

Her fist connected with flesh and the Jaw Titan's head disconnected from the body, knocking into several buildings. Blood sprayed all over her as the Jaw Titan dropped to the ground but she paid no heed to it. He wasn't dead, she thought as she landed on the Attack Titan's muscled shoulder. She looked at her comrades below, sporting different looks of shock, fear and wonder.

However, the momentary shock was soon forgotten as there was a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder. The Jaw Titan suddenly appeared, knocking into the Attack Titan and sending the both of them reeling backwards. The force pushed Sakura off the Titan and flying into nearby buildings. She crashed through the window and slammed into the walls before dropping down onto her stomach. Her back hurt like hell but she forced herself to get up. The medic placed a hand to her stomach, running a medical scan. The baby was safe.

Sakura dropped to the ground again as bullets rained from all corners. She waited until they had subsided before crawling on the ground to the edge of the window, covering herself with a cloaking jutsu. There was a large group of Marleyians which were aiming their rifles at the building she was in whilst the others were engaging with her comrades. She narrowed her eyes as she thought of a plan. She had revealed part of her abilities in the heat of the moment but she had to. She had already decided that she would tell them of her abilities in order for them to help her, an unknown shinobi in a foreign land. Perhaps she could be of use to them, she had mused. This was now her home.

The roars of battling Titans sounded in her ears. She had to protect the Attack Titan as was her mission . She could easily avoid the reinforcements but she couldn't hide herself forever, she was already a target given her abilities. The mission had to be completed as soon as possible because they were in enemy territory and short on their numbers. Before she could ponder further, the ceiling cracked and another Titan crashed through. 'For how beautiful Pieck is, her Titan form sure is ugly,' she thought as she jumped away from the wreckage.

Quickly forming a plan, the kunoichi moved to engage with the Cart Titan however the sound of gunshots made her stop as she evaded the bullets, receiving several shots to her shoulder and calf she had failed to dodge. The Cart Titan was upon her with its mouth open, ready to devour. Sakura was forced to jump out one of the windows where the Warriors were waiting for her. A large explosion rocketed the entire area and the Marleyians struggled to maintain their footing as the earth shifted and trembled. Using the momentary distraction to her advantage, she landed with a chakra-enhanced stomp to the ground which made the earth crumble inwards at an alarming speed.

The Warriors cried in panic as the ground devoured them. Bullets rained down from above them and Sakura let out a sigh of relief as Jean and Connie came into sight with a group of Eldian soldiers on top of the buildings, their guns pointed down. "You okay?!" Connie shouted over to her. Before she could reply, the Cart Titan burst through the building heading for her comrades. "Connie!" she shouted in alarm as the group used ODM gear to jump away. The Titan landed on the roof before taking after the fleeing Jean and Connie. Sakura cursed inwardly as she ran after them. Having them eaten by a Titan was not an option. One thing she had learned from observing the Survey Corps for three continuous days was that they valued every life, no matter how insignificant you were.

She took to the skies before jumping from rooftop to rooftop, following after them as the Cart Titan quickly closedthe distance. Seeing that her speed wasn't enough, the medic used a Body-Flickering technique, landing just a few buildings away from them. The duo had changed course and were now heading towards her. 'Perfect,' she mused as she passed her comrades who were looking at her in bewilderment as she jumped effortlessly in the air without using maneuvering gear. There was a lot more which was shocking than what they were seeing.

A bullet caught her bicep and she landed on the rooftops, wincing in pain as the wound bled profusely. Her henge flickered and she reinstated it. It wouldn't do her good for her cover to be blown in front of the Marleyians. If Reiner knew that she was siding with the Eldians, well, she didn't want to be on the receiving end of the Armored Titan's fist. Her head turned to the side, watching as the Cart Titan speedily made its way towards her. It was arguably the weakest Titan but it was a Titan nonetheless with its speed almost matching the Jaw Titan. Underestimating it might as well lead to her death. Plus she was beginning to tire and she was very, very hungry. Her head was spinning.

Her eyes scanned the area, trying to locate who had shot her but she found no one. Deciding not to waste any more time, she straightened up only to drop to the ground with a sharp jolt of pain in her injured bicep. She inspected it, the bullet was too deep and she couldn't get it out without passing out from the pain, if her earlier injuries and weakened stamina were anything to go by. She cursed herself for zoning out in the middle of a battle as the Cart Titan slammed a fist into her, sending her careening backwards.

The kunoichi flipped in the air and landed gracefully on the side of a building, using chakra to stick to the surface. The Titan was already upon her, its mouth open. She jumped away from the building as the beast crashed into building. Letting out a sigh of relief, her green eyes roamed over the buildings to see if she could make use of her surroundings however she felt a set of sharp teeth enclose around her leg. Sakura let out a gasp of shock as the Titan hauled her up and tossed her to the side, sending her flying.

Sakura braced herself for the impact however she was surprised as she collided into a warm body, sending the both of them to the ground. She tried to stand up but the pain was too much. She was starting to have back cramps, she really need a good massage at the moment. 'Of all the days, why now?' she thought as she let out a low groan. "Sasha, are you okay?" She turned to look up, a dark-haired girl was hovering concernedly in front of her. 'Mikasa,' her brain supplied. "I-I'm okay, just some cramps," she stuttered as she forced her body to stand up. This was going to bite her in the ass a few hours from now.

"We have to help Eren defeat the War Hammer Titan,"she spoke. The duo looked ahead as the Titans engaged with each other. "The only way to do so is to disarm the Jaw Titan and use its teeth to break the crystal encasing the War Hammer Titan's human form. I'll act as a diversion, you do the rest," Mikasa said with a steel gaze. Sakura willed her face to remain neutral whilst inwardly she was panicking. Wasn't it Mikasa who was skilled enough to take the Jaw Titan? Wasn't 'Sasha' more of a background character? Perhaps it had to do with her sudden powerup.

The Ackerman looked to the left. "It seems as though Jean and Connie are finishing off the Cart Titan and its Panzer unit, let's hurry," she twirled her blades before she aimed her grappling hook to the nearby buildings and was off. She couldn't afford to waste anymore chakra as her chakra reserves had depleted due to being shared amongst two beings. The medic wiped her face which was covered in perspiration before following after Mikasa.

True to her word, the dark-haired girl was quick to form a diversion as she slashed at the Jaw Titan's calves with quick reflexes which left Sakura gaping inwardly in wonder. The kunoichi body-flickered to the beast, aiming a kick which dismembered its head from the neck. The head was sent flying to the Attack Titan which had turned to look at them. It was caught with gracefully ease and was put to use as the beast put the crystal in the Jaw Titan's mouth and slammed it closed, prompting the crystal to disintegrate.

Sakura watched as Lara Tybur was forced out of the crystal and squashed as if she were a mere fly before being thrown into the Attack Titan's awaiting mouth. The sight was too much for her stomach to handle and she vomited bile. She hadn't eaten food in the last twenty four hours.

"Retreat!" She heard Captain Levi shout over the noise of the battle.

She turned to Mikasa who had dropped to stand beside her. "You go on ahead, I have to check something," she rushed out. Without waiting for a reply, she took off towards the medical tents . She expanded her chakra senses, locating Dr. Yaeger's chakra signature about half a mile away. The kunoichi increased her pace, wanting to see the man one last time before she departed forever.

She stopped in front of an old abandoned building which had a reputation for being haunted during her stay in Marley. 'Hmm, that's weird. What is he doing here?' she thought as she dropped her henge. She grimaced as blood stains covered her dress. "I hope I don't look weird," she mumbled as she walked inside. The man was sitting on a chair with a table full of medical supplies in front of him. "Dr. Yaeger?" she called out as she approached him. He looked up, his eyes widening comically behind his glasses. "Sakura- You- How did you- What are you doing here?!" he exclaimed as he stood up and walked over to her, embracing her tightly.

"I just thought to say goodbye before I leave for good," she told him as she hugged him back. "How did you get here? You disappeared only a month ago," he asked as he withdrew, taking in her entire form. "Oh, you poor child. What's all this blood?" he asked, his voice thickly muffled by tears. "I'm serving as a doctor for the Eldians," she lied. "Oh," he said, eyes dropping to the ground. "But that doesn't mean I'm on their side!" she quickly amended. "I'm on nobody's side actually. I just need somewhere to fit in, I need answers as to what's wrong with me. I don't know how to explain it but I feel it," she confessed, feeling tears of frustration burning in her eyes. "Something's wrong with this baby," she trailed.

Dr. Yaeger sighed deeply. "Sakura, I need you to do something for me," he said, his features set in a grim expression. "What is it?" she asked, surprised as the older man took hold of her hands. "As a doctor, it's our duty to save lives, no matter how bloody our hands have to get. We understand how biology works," he said seriously. She nodded in understanding. "You're the only one who can do it. Your desire to help people, it's the only way to break this curse. Please understand why I'm doing this," he said as he embraced her again.

"Wha-"

Her words died in her throat as she felt a throbbing pain on the small of her back, near her spinal cord. Sakura roughly pushed him away as the empty syringe dropped to the floor. "What did you do to me? What was that?" she almost shouted as the pain continued. "I'm sorry Sakura but you're the only person I can trust on this planet. I already failed my son once, I won't fail again, you're Humanity's Only Hope," he said as tears streamed down his cheeks. "What the hell are you talking about?! What did you inject me with?!" she yelled, feeling lightheaded as she swayed. She clutched her stomach, there was a burning sensation. "If you have done something to hurt my child, I won't hesitate to end you," she snarled as she took an unsteady step towards him.

Suddenly, a round of bullets was fired towards them. Sakura dropped to the ground as she reinstated her henge. She turned to look at Dr. Yaeger but the man had received most of the shots, his pained and guilty eyes staring at her as he lay on his stomach in a pool of his own blood. Before she had time to comprehend what had happened, a pair of hands hauled up. "Hey, wait!" she said but Connie had already taken her into his arms, carrying her bridal before taking off using ODM gear. "Connie! You have to let me go back! I wasn't done talking to him!" she tried to tell him but he ignored her, staring intently ahead. "Connie, please!" she pleaded, almost on the verge of breaking into tears but he continued to brush her off.

Sakura looked over her shoulder, her eyes watering involuntarily as she thought of the dying older man. Even though they hadn't been exactly on speaking terms but he was the closest thing she had to family ever since she came here. She saw an airship floating ahead. Connie propelled the both of them upwards and they entered through the opening. She was unceremoniously dropped to the metal floor. The kunoichi stood up, biting back a curse as she sent a glare at Connie who was looking at her coldly.

She turned to find several rifles aimed at her with Commander Hange and a pissed off Captain Levi at the front. Eren was handcuffed, kneeling beside the superiors and looking at her with an uninterested gaze. "You better confess now otherwise we'll do it the hard way. Who are you imposter?" the Captain's deadpan voice spoke coldly. "The Sasha I know doesn't fight like a seasoned soldier with eyes that have seen way too much bloodshed. Now, if you tell us who you really are, we might be able to lessen your penalty for lying to us and impersonating one of our soldiers," Hange chirped but her voice didn't betray the warning in her voice.

Sakura took an unconscious step backwards as she eyed all of them. She hadn't intended for the first meeting to be like this. The girl opened her mouth to speak but she only managed to let out a faint gasp as a metal object ripped through her stomach whilst the sound of a gunshot went off. Putting a trembling hand to her injury, she felt liquid seeping through the fabric. 'Blood,' her mind registered as she felt begin herself succumb to unconscious.

"Who the hell fired when I clearly stated that no one was letting out any shots?!" Captain Levi barked.

The last thing she heard was a loud poof and several shocked gasps before her knees gave out.
