"Shouldn't there be some sort of test or exam or something?!" Pleaded Odwin as he stared at Bump with hopeful eyes, but Bump's expression was enough of an answer.

As Skara looked horrified by this news, Amity glared at Odalia for everything with Luz, her friends and Odwin. Sadly, she sunk back down after Odalia sent her a short telepathic message that Odwin didn't need magic to decipher.

'Take this as a lesson, Mittens. A Blight always upholds their end of the deal.'

Odwin wanted to do something, but alas, he also feared Odalia and didn't want to incur her wrath.

"I'm sorry, but i have no say in the matter. Effective immediately, you three are no longer student of Hexside." Said Bump dejectedly before Luz, Willow and Gus were whisked away by the detention guard creatures.

"No! But us...good...Amity, Odwin, tell them!" Pleaded Luz as she pulled out of the principal's office only to be met with defeated expressions from Odwin and Amity.

Once the trouble-making trio was out of the room, Odalia turned to Amity and spoke.

"Good. Now, you'll be taking double the classes to make up for lost time. Actually, I'm appalled that you're not in class right now. What are you thinking?" Said Odalia with a frown. "And as for you, Bun-Bun, why are you just sitting there? we have a lot of work to do today."

Odalia proceeded to take her children out of the room, smiling at her son's defeated look and Skara's horrified one at the sudden development.

'Finally, some discipline.'

"No no no no"

"Are you alright?" Asked Alador staring at Odwin panicking on the verge of tears as they walked together.

Odalia had decided to stay outside Hexside for a bit to have a chat with Luz, ordering Alador to take Odwin to where they can get him his coven brand and to know she'll catch up to them in a moment.

"NO! Nearly all my magic will be sealed away soon!" Exclaimed Odwin as he clutched his head in panic. "No no no no."

Alador went silent before letting out a reassuring smile.

"You're have talent and a bright future ahead of you." He said as he patted Odwin on the back. "You shouldn't waste them playing around."

"What future?!" Exclaimed Odwin angrily "I've never once thought about my future! The whole reason i HAVE this stupid talent is because i never thought about my future! I just did things because i found them fun! And now that's all going to disappear!"

"Don't worr-"

"Stop acting like you care!!!" Snapped Odwin angrily with tears in his eyes, causing Alador to flinch "All you do is make abominations all day. The only thing we did together in years was making a torture machine of all things! And i was stupid to enjoy it! Because it doesn't mean anything to you, does it? It's all just playing around!"

Alador was shocked by Odwin's suddenly outburst, he paused and tried to think about what Odwin just said, but he continued.

"You hurt Amity, you hurt me, you haven't even bothered with Ed and Em. Just stop talking and leave me alone!"

Alador stared at the ground scratching the back of his head, but before he could properly respond, Odalia finally returned and she was angry.

"Bun-Bun, what are you yelling about? You're causing a scene!" Said Odalia with a stern frown.

"Nothing, mom." Said Odwin looked at the ground in defeat unable to meet his mother's gaze.

Odalia's expression remained unchanged despite Odwin's response. "Hmm, you're lucky we have a lot of work to do." She said calmly before pulling Odwin with her. "Let's go, it's about time you joined a coven."

Alador, for one reason or another, couldn't look in his son's direction.

Perhaps it was...guilt?

"Ahh, i remember when you were still a baby obsessed with that bunny onesie." Said Odalia with a chuckle

Odwin frowned at the memory that earned him the nickname 'Bun-Bun' as his mother pulled to the building where he'd be joining a coven.

"Now you're joining your mother in her coven." Odalia continued seemingly forgetting the Odwin's yelling from a while ago.

"We're here~" Odalia said cheerfully as they entered a special building. "Thanks to your more than stellar record, the emperor's coven had agreed to let you join without tryouts. But that's Amity's place. You're place is with me in the oracle coven."

Odwin nodded dejectedly before Odalia took him to the stand where he'd get his brand.

The coven brand made Odwin feel sick and it felt terrifying to have most of the magic he loved using bend to his will like normal.

It was nauseating. So much so that he couldn't react to his mother putting a necklace with a dark purple gem that had an odd symbol on it on him.

"Hmm...Bun-Bun, jump." Said Odalia with an evil smile

Odwin was confused by the sudden request only to be assaulted by an annoying bell sound. He tried looking around for the sound of a bell so close to him, but oddly found nothing.

Odalia, seeming satisfied, snapped her fingers and the noise immediately stopped.

"Looks like it works as intended." Said Odalia with a proud smile, only to meet Odwin's confused gaze. "You're not the only one in this family who can make new spells, Bun-Bun...And I've made this one just for you."

Odwin swallowed a lump in his throat as he suddenly felt a sense of dread like he has never felt before.

The terms of the necklace were: Odalia makes a request and if Odwin isn't fulfilling that request, the sound of a bell continuously plays in his mind.

And Odalia asked Odwin to give her his oracle book.

The sound itself loud or anything too bad, just annoying, but the noise's persistence was starting to break him.

The cursed necklace was irremovable and trying to break the thing whilst he didn't have illusion magic was a death sentence.

So, since Amity was in her extra lessons at the moment, Odwin sought out help from his older siblings.

"So, what do i do?" Asked Odwin with an eye twitch

"Hmm, you think a concealment stone would work?" Asked Emira raising a brow.

"Hmm, let's try." Said Edric with a smile before bringing a concealment stone from a nearby drawer and giving it to Odwin.

The moment Odwin tried to use the stone to make a fake necklace, it broke right in his hand.

"Well, that failed miserably." Said Emira before donning a reassuring smile when she saw Odwin's dejected expression. "Don't worry, Od, we'll find something."

"*sigh* i just want the noise to sto-"

sob*

The two were cut off by the sound of sobbing. They turned to its source and saw Edric dramatically mourning the loss of his concealment stone. The two rolled their eyes and spoke in union.

""We'll get you a new one, Ed.""

"But this was my favorite!"

Contrary to the attitude of the three Blight siblings, their results were depressing and Odwin's head was on the verge of exploding.

So, with his will extinguished and no siblings free to distract him, he finally decided to give in.

Knowing Odalia was currently in the abomination sale, he made it there as fast as he could.

But once he saw what was happening inside the building, desperation turned to anger.

He heard screaming and booking dashed inside the building to see Amity and Luz crushed by Alador's new abomaton's hand turned hollow hammer. He remembered what was supposed to happen this episode...and he didn't care.

The investors inside the building quickly had to run away when a giant pillar of purple flames was ignited. They did still send their investment for some reason, much ti Odalia's relief.

"YOU!" Said Odwin angrily as he teleported right in front of Amity and Luz lying on the ground.

"Bun-Bun, and you brought the book-" said Odalia before Odwin summoned a fireball with the face of an oracle spirit and fired it right next to her.

"Stop! It's okay, Odwin! We're not actually hurt!" Amity immediately tried to stop Odwin

"Yeah! It was just-"

"I know! I also know what was happening a few minutes ago!" Said Odwin angrily as he used a spirit to break the necklace on his neck as he stared Odalia in the eyes

"*gasp* Odwin Blight!" Odalia threatened.

"ENOUGH!" Odwin yelled, surrounded by purple flames as his eyes glowed purple.

Another spirit fireball was thrown, but this time it was thrown directly at Odalia. Thankfully, Alador was able to protect her using the abomaton.

"Odwin, stop this instant." Said Alador with a frown, but Odwin didn't even hear him; he only stared at Odalia. "You're not thinking clearly."

"You wanted my spells, you can have them, banshee." Said Odwin as his oracle booke eerily opened its pages started flipping before a large grotesque spirit rose from the book.

Amity and Luz stepped back when they saw it, sensing the danger it may pose with Amity standing in front of Luz protectively, causing the latter to blush slightly. Meanwhile, Alador stood his grounds ready to stop his son from doing something crazy.

Odwin didn't care about anything in his current state, he had enough of Odalia's antics and she. Was. Going. To. Pay.

But before that could happen, something changed.

Suddenly, Odwin went as stiff as a statue and was quickly engulfed in pitch black darkness.

And soon, a dark figure took over and possessed him...the figure looked all around him before locking eyes with Amity.

"I look away for a few hours and everything is on fire and Odwin's trying to commit murder?!" Everyone was surprised by the figure's casual tone. "Are you for real?!"

"It's you!" Said Amity recognizing the dark figure

"Yes, it's me." Said the figure crossing his arms "and I'm very disappointed in someone!"

"Amity, who is that guy?" Asked Luz staring at the figure.

"He's...a friend." Said Amity with a reassuring smile, trying not to reveal the true identity of the dark figure.

Luz nodded and looked back towards the figure as he confronted Odalia.

"Who are you?" She asked with a displeased expression as Alador eyed him with a frown.

"Not important. Just a kid who lives rent free in your son's mind." Said the figure as they made the grotesque spirit disappear with a mere look. "What IS important is that you have to know your limits."

"Limits?" She inquired with a glare

"Yes, if you keep going like this, i can guarantee your future would NOT be very pretty." Said the figure narrowing his eyes.

Odalia chuckled. "That's none of your business. Abomination, capture."

The abomaton quickly jumped towards the figure with the intent of capturing him.

"Watch out!" Amity tried to warn him

"*sigh* this is why i hate the outside world." Said the figure tiredly before the abomination transformed into a smoothie with a mere glance from him. "Much better."

"Huh?" Luz let out a sound out of confusion as the figure began drinking the smoothie.

Everyone was surprised at how easily the abomination was defeated, that Odalia flinched when the figure stared at her again.

"Look, lady, i can't force you to do anything. But don't blame me or him when you lose your son...or your life...whichever comes first, of course." Said the figure cheerfully, causing Odalia to glare at him "Now, anything else before i go do something far more important?"

The figure really didn't expect anyone to say anything, so he was surprised when a certain abomination maker did.

"Can you guarantee Odwin's safety?" It was Alador of all people.

The figure went silent as he stared at Alador, surprised by the sudden question. Alador was about say something, most likely a repeat of his question, but the figure stopped him.

"No no, i heard you the first time. I'm just...surprised. i really thought you didn't care about your kids at all." Said the figure with a shrug as Alador eyed him intently. "Anyway, don't worry. He's only in timeout. Amity can testify for my honesty."

"Amity." Said Alador looking at his daughter and she nodded, affirming the figure's claims.

"And here, so you know i mean no harm, it tasted horrible anyway." Said the figure as his smoothie turned back into a powerful abomaton with a mere thought.

Alador inspected the abomination and saw that it was missing nothing and was as functional as before.

"Okay, now that that's over. Luz...and Amity, you can come too, I'm gonna need you to hop into our mind for a minute." Said the figure in a dead serious confusing Luz and Amity. "There's something that you have to see. Something very serious."

Luz could only wonder what that thing could be.

"*Yawn* man, dealing with other people's problems really takes a lot out of me." Said the figure in an adorable sleepy tone.

"Aww, you're a wittle sleepy baby." Luz cooed over the figure's toddler like look.

"Yeah, yeah. I wanna go to sleep and Odwin is back in control so *yawn* let's get on with it." Said the figure sleepily as they began walking towards their destination.

"Woah, so this is what minds look like?" Asked Luz excitedly as she saw the scene of walls upon walls of memories neatly organized and taken care of inside what looked to be a very fancy mansion.

"No, we just manually organize everything. Someone else may have a messy or a forest instead of a mansion." Said the figure and Luz nodded in affirmation. "We know a lot about this subject.

Amity suddenly noticed a memory from when she and Odwin were babies and asked.

"Odwin has memories from when were babies?"

"Yep, we have a lot of those. Ah, they're some of the best memories we have." Said the figure cheerfully

Soon, they passed by a giant metal door. Locked and shut to the point that even air might not pass through.

"What's behind that door?" Asked Luz curiously

"...nothing important" said the figure before they suddenly changed locations to a dark area. "We're here."

Luz and Amity were confused by the sudden and abrupt teleportation, but soon that transformed into fear as they saw a certain mural.

"What?" Asked Luz in horror staring at the mural.

The figure shrugged. "I don't know exactly what it is or why it's here. That's why i brought you here. Whatever it is, it's not good."

The mural depicted a smiling eclipse behind Emperor Belos standing over a crowd of witches screaming in front of a magical blast as it vaporized the ones it hit.

[Extra bit that's slightly important to the plot.]

Skara felt depressed ever since Odwin left school. It wasn't fair, she just made up with him and now they couldn't see each other again.

She grabbed her lunch and sat a table alone at Hexside's cafeteria with a dejected sigh.

"Is this place taken" Skara heard a familiar voice.

"Do what you- Od!" Said Skara in surprise. "Aren't you supposed to be-"

"No, I'm still not a student." Said Odwin with a smile. "Bump offered me a job here at Hexside."

"Really?" She asked in a hopeful tone.

"Yup, I'm not a teacher though." Said Odwin happily "I'm something like a counselor. I get paid to attend school, now; can you believe it?"

Skara laughed happily at that joke question and the two began talking together until the end of the lunch break barely touching their food.
