"Ugh, i still can't believe Odwin now calls me by name! The disobedience! All of because of that horrid...THING! In his head and then i had to get those brats Amity hangs out with back into Hexside." Odalia cried angrily almost growling. "If it weren't for the deal with the emperor's coven I'd have those two grounded for the rest of their lives!"
"Odalia." Alador spoke gaining her attention. "It's been a few days since the incident. Can't you just let it go?"
"And what is it with you? You've been acting different ever since that thing showed up." Asked Odalia curiously, raising a brow. "Spill it."
"*sigh* it's just...i think we're being a bit too tough of those four." Said Alador feeling anxious as he worked on the abomatons. The feeling did nothing to change the quality of the abominations, yet it still weighed heavy on his mind.
Odalia immediately burst into laughter "Nice one, honey." Then she noticed the serious look on Alador's face. "Oh, you're serious?"
"I mean, Amity is can become a coven one day while Odwin can probably be a coven head as he is. Edric and Emira aren't too bad either." Said Alador stopping his work momentarily to look at his wife. "Maybe we could go easier on them."
"And reward that disobedience?" Asked Odalia with a deep frown.
"How about rewarding their efforts?" Countered Alador as he got back to working on the abomination. "I think perhaps they deserve something."
"That thing really shook you up, huh?" Asked Odalia narrowing her eyes as she recalled what the figure said to Alador.
Alador went silent as he remembered both that dark figure's words and Odwin's words.
'I really thought you didn't care about your kids at all'
'You hurt Amity, you hurt me, you haven't even bothered with Ed and Em. Just stop talking and leave me alone!'
"*sigh* fine." Odalia caved in before sporting a smile. "But-"
"All four of them equally if possible." Alador cut in, unintentionally stopping Odalia from having another idea.
"But-but..." Odalia looked heartbroken by Alador's comment before noticing that he wasn't budging. "Alright, but I'm expecting perfect grades after this. What are getting them?"
"Hmm, what do kids like these days?" Asked Alador putting a hand on his chin. "Maybe a pet like the bird i got Odwin? I think i heard Edric say something about a bat or-"
"Absolutely not! The only reason I'm tolerating that bird is because it's smart enough to not leave a mess behind it." Said Odalia firmly with a deep frown as she crossed her arms.
"Hmm, something smart" said Alador before falling deep into thought. "...what about some palismen?"
Odalia went silent before thinking about the possibility...and how good it would be for the family.
"Maybe. The price isn't a problem, but where are we even going to find four logs of palistrom wood?" Asked Odalia with a frown.
"Well then, we better get looking." Said Alador as left his work to prepare for the journey.
"W-wait! What about the abominations? The emperor's coven?" Asked Odalia in shock gesturing towards the whole workshop. "They're expecting shipments, we can't just leave it like this!"
Alador went silent before having an idea that might work. "That's easy. I learned a nice trick from Odwin for situations such as these." He said before pulling out a abomination remote control device.
Alador pressed a button that caused an abomination that was dressed like Alador to enter the workshop.
"What is that?" Asked Odalia in cringing at the sight of the abomination. "And why is it wearing your clothes and has a wig similar to your hair?"
"The Alabomdor. It's an abomination that makes abominations per a given blueprint as long as it has enough materials." Said Alador calmly. "Odwin had spirits similar to this that he used to make the maze for the maze incident."
"Oh, okay. Wait...isn't that the name of your penstagram account?" Asked Odalia curiously before realizing something about this abomination. "You had this abomination the whole time?! We could've multiplied our efficien- ugh."
When Odalia turned around to scold her husband, she saw that he was distracted by fairy. She pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration.
Then she crushed the fairy in front of Alador's eyes without mercy.
"Can we go now?" She asked angrily.
Alador looked saddened by the death of his distraction, but nodded nonetheless.
And so, Alador and Odalia left to get four logs of palistrom wood.

"Is it really that uncomfortable?" Asked Skara in concern as she and Odwin walked through the streets of Bonesborough.
"It's like walking down some stairs only to fall down because a step is missing." said Odwin as he anxiously rubbed his oracle coven brand with depressed look. "So, yeah...pretty uncomfortable. And my inner me has been tired for some reason so my mind is also not so comfortable."
Skara saw the look in his eyes and felt the need to get him out of his current mood. Her expression brightened upon having an idea.
"Hey, want me to show you some bard magic like-" said Skara before she saw Odwin looking even more depressed and remembering the problem at hand...or wrist. "I'm...so sorry."
"It's fine. It's not like you can do anything about this stupid thing." Said Odwin dejectedly as he rubbed his coven brand.
Skara's shoulders slumped before her eyes drifted to the buildings around her. Trying to find something that could help...and she did. It was a poster.
"Hey, Od! Look!" Exclaimed Skara cheerfully as she forcibly turned his head to the poster she found
They both saw the same thing, an event called "Magical Divergence 101. How to regain your lost magic from your current coven magic."
"I think i can do that on my own though." Said Odwin with an unimpressed look.
"Well, it wouldn't hurt to go. And who knows? Maybe you'd learn something new." Said Skara with a big smile and some thumbs up.
"I...guess it might be helpfu-" said Odwin before Skara pulled him forcibly, heading towards the event.
Little did they know of someone watching them from a gigantic distance with some binoculars.
It was the Golden Guard.

"Observation log No.2
I have still found nothing about this individual called Odwin Blight.
Before making the deal with the Blights, something weird happened after Odwin entered the fight with the abomaton.
It felt as if time had suddenly jumped forwards.
The scouts i brought with me didn't seem to notice, but I DID. But i couldn't just report something as vague as this based on simply one event, I'd be called insane!
I have a few theories on what this so called Blight is.
Perhaps he is an ancient horror trapped in the body of a teenager! Or a normal student who passed by an artifact of wild magic and began using it for nefarious purposes.
Regardless of what it was though, i have to get more information about this individual and confirm my suspicions and see where this Blight stands.
During the time i spent watching him, the first thing i learned was to stay as far as possible from him and watch from a great distance.
His gaze always snapped towards me no matter how well disguised i was, almost as if he was reading my mind. *shiver* uh not, like, I'm scared of him or anything. It's just creepy.
Today, he is hanging out with another Hexside student; one from the bard track. I checked who they were and the results added more to my worries.
This 'Skara' was nothing remarkable as a child from what gossip i could gather, just a bit mean. But one day, her efforts in magic multiplied and she was growing to be considered a prodigy. This is possibly due to interference of this 'Odwin'.
Perhaps this ancient horror was like a hive mind, looking to gather an army to overthrow the emperor and rule the isles with hellfire and pain!
clears throat* for now, his true identity may be unknown; but his threat still lingers.
I shall continue to diligently watch those two until i figure what they ar-wait, it looks like they're going somewhere.
I need to follow them and find out their plans. Hunter out."
