As soon as they were finished with breakfast, the Possibles drove right to the Middleton Police Department. For Kim, it was a surreal experience. She had been to the police station many times before on missions, and had even developed a rapport with a lot of the officers. But she had never in a million years imagined she would have to come here because of a crime against her family. Moreover, she had never interacted with the department's Special Victims Unit before—she had always considered those crimes too upsetting to get involved with in her work, a major irony under the circumstances. So she wasn't quite sure what to expect.

She was pleasantly surprised by the "soft room" where sex crime victims were interviewed. The room had been set up to create a welcoming environment, with plush chairs and even a large coffee table. Kim, her brothers, and their parents had no problem making themselves comfortable in there while they waited for the SVU detective to come in. Of course, the nice amenities didn't change the fact that Jim and Tim were about to relive the most awful moment of their lives, and they were clearly on edge. Kim certainly didn't blame them—it had been hard enough for them to talk about what happened with her and their parents, and they were family. Now they had to do it with a complete stranger.

Soon enough, the door opened and an African-American officer came in. He had a very fatherly demeanor, and seemed strong but also gentle. Kim quickly got the sense that he was someone who cared about them—and judging from the tweebs' faces, they seemed to feel the same way. That was a good sign.

"Good morning to all of you. And Kim Possible, I do want to say that despite the circumstances, it's an honor to meet you. I know this is a very difficult time for the entire family, and rest assured that we'll do everything we can to get justice for Jim and Tim. My name is David Miller, and I'm the detective in charge of special victims cases for the Middleton PD."

"Special victims?" Tim asked.

"That's right. Special victims means we deal with crimes against children, the elderly, and other types of people who are especially vulnerable," the detective explained. "We take crimes against them especially seriously, and we consider helping them a priority. Does that make sense?"

The boys nodded.

"Now, your father mentioned that something happened to you at school yesterday. What do you remember about what happened?"

"Well, we were having to stay for after-school detention," Jim started. "We'd stayed for it before, and we didn't think this one would be any different. So we went to the detention room after our last class."

"But when we got there, it wasn't normal," Tim added. "We were the only kids there. And when we got in the room, Mr. Gray closed the door and locked it. That doesn't usually happen."

"Who's Mr. Gray?" Miller asked Tim.

"He's the gym teacher. I guess he was supervising detention that day."

"I see." The detective remembered some complaints about Mr. Gray had been made before, but the school had cleared him. In hindsight, that may have been a serious mistake. "What else do you remember?"

"Well—" Both boys were starting to cry at this point, as were Kim and her parents. Miller, who had given many of these emotional interviews before, opened a drawer in the room's coffee table and took out a box of tissues. All five Possible family members gratefully took some to wipe their tears, and then the boys continued to describe what happened.

"Mr. Gray told us that we were bad kids and had to be punished," a tearful Jim told the detective. "He—he called us some words that Mom and Dad say we're not supposed to use. Then he told us to take all our clothes off."

Kim's tears flowed freely as the tweebs went on to recount the entire story of what happened to them. This was the third time she had heard it, but listening to the awful details never got easier. She still couldn't quite believe that this had truly happened to Jim and Tim, or that monsters like Mr. Gray were out in society preying on children like them. But that was why they were here. Detective Miller was someone who had dealt with these kinds of cases before and knew how to help.

For his part, Miller kept a calm face as he allowed the boys to recount the details at their own pace. Privately, though, he was very concerned about the boys' well-being. He had been doing this work for fifteen years, and this sounded like an especially bad case. Miller was particularly disturbed that the boys had been made to perform sex acts on each other, despite being brothers. This guy is one sick bastard to do that. Those poor kids are going to need so much therapy after this, he thought sadly.

Once the tweebs had finished recounting the story, Miller asked them if there was anything else they remembered. "Can you give me any details about the room? Maybe what Mr. Gray was wearing that day? Anything that could help us get evidence would help a lot."

"W-well", Tim sniffled, "he had a blue cellphone."

"Cellphone? Was he recording you?"

The boys both nodded. "He had his phone out a lot of the time we were naked," Jim said. "We didn't know why he wanted to record us, but we were too scared to ask."

Kim was hit with a double dose of emotions as she learned this stunning new detail. On the one hand, if the tweebs were right, Mr. Gray had unwittingly provided plenty of evidence against himself. Getting that phone would make this an open-and-shut case. So in that sense, this was great news. On the other hand, this was even more serious than she had thought. Mr. Gray had not only raped her poor little brothers, he had made child pornography of them. If he had uploaded that material to the Internet-

Kim forced that thought from her head. She couldn't think about the worst-case scenario. Right now the priority was stopping Mr. Gray, and that meant grabbing him and his phone. Detective Miller was trying to keep his poker face, but Kim could tell he was thinking the same thing. "Well, I want to thank you very much for talking to me," he told the boys. "You've been incredibly helpful." He turned to James and Ann. "Mrs. Dr. Possible, you had mentioned wanting to get the boys to the hospital, and I agree. We'll send someone over to let them know what's going on and to make sure that nothing they do compromises the investigation. The boys gave us all the info we need for a warrant, so we'll head to Middleton Middle School and arrest Mr. Gray."

"Count me in," Kim said without a second's hesitation.

James looked at her skeptically. "Kimmie-cub, child predators are dangerous. I'm not sure I want you tangling with this guy."

Kim gave her father a you-have-got-to-be-kidding look. "Dad, I fight supervillains all the time. I defeated the Diablo robot army just two months ago, remember? I can handle this pervert. The way I'm feeling right now, I'm the dangerous one!"

"I agree with your daughter," Miller said. "Our department has total confidence in Kim's abilities. But I'll be more than happy to go with her to the school as backup if you'd prefer."

James knew he was outvoted. "Okay. We'll take the boys to the hospital. And Kimmie, if things with Mr. Gray do get serious—give him an extra punch for me."

"And another one for me!" Ann chimed in.

Kim grinned. "With pleasure."
