Another quiet, restful evening had rolled by in the Northuldra's camp. Marie stretched her arms above her as Elsa settled into her bed made of hides. The young queen propped herself up on her elbow and looked at Marie with striking blue eyes. "What's one thing that you miss from your world?" Elsa asked.
Marie settled under her blankets. "Ice cream."
""Ice cream?"" Elsa giggled. "We have ice cream in Arendelle!"
"Yeah, but I'm talking about DQ ice cream, or a gallon of ice cream!" Marie sighed happily, her heart racing slightly as Elsa moved a little closer to her. They had shared Elsa's tent the entire time they had stayed with the Northuldra, and it felt like a fever dream to Marie. Their first kiss frequently swam around in her mind, and she found herself staring at Elsa's lips quite often. Elsa did the same. Marie lay on her side and looked up at Elsa. "What about you? What from my world sounds interesting to you?"
"Hm…" Elsa played with the edge of Marie's blanket. "Electricity."
Marie snorted. "C'mon! That's too broad!"
"I like it when you tell me stories about the interactive stories you play. What are they called again?" Elsa asked. "Video games?"
"Really?" Marie uttered, completely surprised. "Yeah, my favorite series actually has Arendelle in it. It's called Kingdom Hearts." She rolled on her back. "Did a teenage boy named Sora come to your world with a dog and duck?"
Elsa laughed as she ran her fingers along the hem of Marie's nightgown on her arm. "Um, no."
"Dang," Marie replied. "That would have been cool." A strand of Elsa's blonde hair fell in front of her face, and Marie reached up and tucked it back behind her ear. Elsa's face turned red, inciting Marie's to do the same. Feeling an ounce of bravery, Marie gently ran her thumb over Elsa's lips. Elsa leaned down, closing the distance between them.
"Marie?"
The sound of Elsa's voice snapped Marie out of her daydream. She shook her head and looked at Elsa, who was standing in front of Marie's car. "Yeah?" she asked as she continued to pump gas into her car. They were on their way to the Twin Cities in Minnesota and had stopped to get gas. A light snowfall had begun, slowing their four-hour journey to five hours. Good thing we left early, Marie thought.
"Is there anything you want?" Elsa asked, readjusting her white hat on her head. Marie shook her head and Elsa departed for the store. Marie blushed and hid her face behind her pink scarf as the smell of gas surrounded her. It had taken five days to make plans and to wait for the show, but the day had finally come for the showing of Wicked at The Genivive. Excitement kept Marie's heart rate up the entire day, but she did not mind. The click! of the pump sounded off, and she removed it from her car and paid with her card outside.
It's happening, Marie thought. We're going on a date. Marie had warned Elsa that they would be staying in a hotel overnight, but Elsa did not seem to mind. There will be separate beds, but still… Marie swallowed a lump in her throat as the memories of them sleeping near each other all those nights filled her. She sat down in her driver's seat and waited for Elsa to finish up in the store. Her hands fiddled with a strand of wool on her gloves. Elsa bought a new dress for the occasion, but Marie had no idea what it looked like. The royal had only asked what color Marie's dress was, nothing more. She could wear a pillowcase and it would still look good, Marie thought. She blushed deeply at the thought of Elsa only wearing that and shook her head vehemently.
The passenger's side door opened, and Elsa greeted her with a smile. "I got you a chocolate bar," Elsa said, handing it to Marie. She paused. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah!" Marie pulled her scarf down. "Just anxious about the roads." They departed the gas station and continued their journey. They had hit the suburbs of the Twin Cities a while ago, but Marie could scarcely take it all in even though she had been there before. She had grown up in a town with barely three thousand people, so seeing the endless number of homes and businesses still appalled her. Elsa was no exception. She spent most of the trip staring out the windows in pure wonder. Marie smiled when Elsa resumed doing so. "It's something else, isn't it?" Marie asked.
Elsa gasped when they went over a bridge. "The lights just keep going!" she exclaimed. "How many people live here?"
"I think over a million," Marie answered. As they excited a tunnel, skyscrapers came into view. Both women marveled at the sight of the giants above them. It was already dark outside, but one could barely tell with all the lights illuminating everything within sight. It was beautiful.
Marie followed the route her cell phone's GPS guided her on, and they arrived at their hotel. It was nothing spectacular: it was from a midwestern company that boasted free continental breakfast and a swimming pool. Large stone columns guarding the main door greeted them upon arrival, yet three letters were not lit up on the hotel's name that shone on its rooftop. Nevertheless, Elsa looked in awe at the building. "It's so big!" She spun around in a circle. "Everything here is so big!"
Marie caught sight of herself smiling in one of her side mirrors as she grabbed their luggage. She did not realize that she could have such a gleeful, happy expression. While looking away, Marie asked, "Is this the first time you've ever been in a city this big?"
"Yes." Elsa grabbed her luggage from Marie. She pointed to a jet in the sky. "Is that an airplane?" Marie nodded and motioned for them to go inside.
Once they were checked in, they made their way up the carpeted stairs to their room. Marie tracked down the number 125 and showed Elsa how to unlock their room using the card key. "Don't lose this, but if you do, the person at the front desk can give you another." With shaky hands, Marie opened their room. Darkness met them, but Marie could see the room regardless of the dark. She flicked on the lights and stepped aside to let Elsa in. Two queen beds lay side by side with an end table between them. A small bathroom was on their left with the sink outside of it. The hum of the heater sounded throughout the room as they brought their luggage in. Marie waited for Elsa to pick out a bed first, and she stared at her while she did so. We've shared a bed before, Marie thought to herself. So, why am I obsessing over sharing a room? She rubbed her thumb as the memory of them in Elsa's tent swirled in her mind.
Elsa put her luggage on the bed closest to the window. "I'll take this one," she said. She eyed Marie, and they both looked away when their eyes met.
"I, um…I hope you don't mind us sharing a room," Marie said quietly.
"Not at all," Elsa responded, sounding calm and confident. Her tone immediately set Marie at ease until she added, "I prefer it."
"Th-that's good!" Marie stammered. She motioned in a circle as she tried to process her thoughts. "Um, we have about an hour to get ready, maybe a little less. Do you want to get ready in the bathroom or out here?"
Elsa clasped her hands in front of her. "Out here is fine. I might need help zipping up my dress if you don't mind."
"I might need the same, but I think I'll do my makeup first." Marie lifted her luggage off the bed, and she was surprised when it came with ease. Although not long, her training was already affecting her body, and she welcomed it. "Just let me know when you want help!" Marie went into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. After setting her luggage down, she took a deep breath and looked at herself in the mirror. Her face was slightly flushed, and her eyes were dilated. She lightly slapped her cheeks. "Get it together, Marie," she muttered to herself. She began to put makeup on her face, choosing to go for a more natural look. If she was being honest, she did not know much of anything else since she did not wear makeup often. Marie took her hair out of her braid and fluffed up the waves that came of it. Her hair, which was usually pulled back, hung freely over her shoulders and back. It had gotten long and turned an auburn color from her usual mousy brown. She played with a strand absentmindedly. A lot had changed over the past couple of years.
Marie pulled out her dress. Its dark red fabric flitted over her fingers as she put it on and looked at herself in the mirror. She halted. The color of the dress brought out the small shades of red that began to grow in her hair, and her skin tone met the makeup and dress color very prettily. Her dress had long, quarter length arms and curved around her collarbone and waist. It went halfway down her thighs, which were accentuated by the dress. For the first time in a long time, she felt confident and beautiful. I'll need help zipping up, though, she thought, turning her body so she could see her back. With a racing heart, she cracked the door open and called out, "Hey, can I come out?"
"Yes," Elsa answered.
Marie exited the bathroom as her hands smoothed out her dress. "I was wondering if you-" She froze upon seeing Elsa, her eyes growing wide. Elsa stood in a short black dress that hugged her body in a way that made Marie weak in the knees. Each curvature of her body was accentuated by the dress, which had a line of silver jewels that ran up the right side. It was the same length as Marie's and hugged her thighs tightly. Elsa's hair was down and wavy, and her brilliant blue eyes popped from the purple eye makeup she had put on. She gracefully grabbed a dark red shawl from a chair and swung it over her bare arms. She took a step towards Marie, her eyes fixated on her. Marie found herself frozen even further at the way Elsa was looking at her. That's right, Marie thought to herself as Elsa's eyes scanned her body. She said she loves me. A genuine, shy smile came across Elsa's face, and Marie exhaled shakily.
""Um…"" both women said at the same time.
Elsa smiled. "You go first," she said. Marie clutched the pearls on her neck. An image of Elsa in a lavender dress came into her mind, and she faltered for a second. Every nerve in her body was ignited, and her body pounded, and she knew her face was as red as her dress. Elsa approached her, her eyes full of concern. "Are you okay?"
Marie let out a laugh of disbelief and nodded, her chest swelling. "You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen…"
Elsa gasped, her eyes glowing in the light's reflection. She grabbed Marie's hands. "You're absolutely breathtaking, Marie…" For a few seconds, they merely stared at one another. It felt like a lifetime to Marie, one that she never wanted to leave.
Marie felt the fabric of her dress sliding off her shoulder, and her hands shot to her chest in alarm. "Crap, my dress isn't zipped! Would you mind zipping it for me?"
A cute giggle came from Elsa, which made Marie smile. "Of course. I need you to do the same." Marie blushed as Elsa grabbed her shoulders and turned her around. "You first," she said in a low tone as her breath cascaded over Marie's bare back, immediately igniting what felt like fire in Marie. Elsa grabbed the zipper and pressed her forefinger against Marie's skin and slowly began pulling the zipper up. Marie shivered as Elsa's finger ran up her back. She stopped once the zipper was all the way up and stepped back. "There," Elsa said softly.
Marie turned around and grabbed one of Elsa's hands, guiding her to turn around. Elsa did so, her head turned so she could look at Marie. Marie gently moved her blonde hair out of the way, and she blushed as the smell of strawberry shampoo surrounded them. Marie's hand slid down to where the zipper was, and she began to slowly pull it up. She imitated Elsa and ran her forefinger along Elsa's soft, flawless skin. Marie did not want it to end. Elsa shivered and eyed Marie from over her shoulder. Marie finished and took a step back. They stared at one another until Marie asked, "Ready?"
The Genivive loomed over them as they exited Marie's car. It stood four stories tall and shone among the surrounding city buildings like a star. A couple dozen people were shuffling into the theater and away from the snow, which was still falling faintly onto the earth. Marie skid to the passenger's side door and opened it before Elsa could. She stepped back as Elsa stepped out and held out her arm for Elsa to take. She did, and with shy smiles, they made their way into the theater. Warmth wafted through the doorway and welcomed them in along with the excited buzzing of people's voices. A young employee greeted them with widened eyes upon looking at them, and Marie and Elsa could not help but giggle to themselves. Marie showed their tickets and was directed to where they should go. A gift shop was on their right, and Elsa voiced wanting to visit after the show and Marie nodded.
As they made their way into the theater, Elsa leaned in and asked in Marie's ear, "So, what's this play about?"
"I'm not sure," Marie admitted as she guided them to their table. "I've never seen it. I've only heard some of the songs, but I know it's good." Round tables dotted the theater, and they soon saw that they'd be sharing a table with three other people much to Marie's chagrin. The two women greeted their fellow guests politely as Elsa pulled out Marie's chair for her. Marie let out a surprised grunt but complied when Elsa gave Marie a satisfied look. Menus were brought out to them by chipper, professional wait staff.
Elsa leaned in against Marie again. "What do you recommend since you've been here before?"
"Hm…" Marie pondered. "I remember ordering the alfredo with seafood." She leaned into Elsa and turned her face towards the ice queen. "But you should order what sounds good to you."
Elsa took in Marie's proximity before responding in a husky tone, "What do you want, Marie?"
The sound of someone clearing their throat met their ears, and they both snapped back into reality as the server waited patiently to take their order. Marie ordered a sirloin steak while Elsa ordered the alfredo. The lights dimmed as trumpets blared and flashes of green lit up the stage. Three actors dressed as monkeys clamored around before some townspeople took up the stage. Marie clapped with the audience as the actors began their first song. She snuck a glance at Elsa and felt her heart lurch within her chest. Elsa's eyes were glued to the stage and a smile full of awe covered her face. She seems to be having a good time, Marie thought to herself. She smiled. I'm glad.
During intermission, their food was brought out. Elsa shifted excitedly in her seat as everyone at the table voiced their eagerness. Marie closed her eyes happily as she took the first bite. "Ohmygod," she mumbled. She watched as Elsa took her first bite and had a similar reaction. The play resumed as everyone finished up their dinners and were brought dessert. Marie leaned forward to say in Elsa's ear, "What do you think?"
Elsa turned her head to the side and brushed Marie's nose. "I think you're good at planning dates." Marie blushed and retreated with a smile on her face.
The play finished and everyone stood to cheer for several minutes. Marie and Elsa said farewell to their fellow table guests before beginning to depart the theater. A hand slipped into Marie's, and she turned to see Elsa gripping her hand and following her closely. Marie squeezed her hand and guided them out of the theater. "There's something that I want to show you," Marie said, leading her past the crowd and around a corner. The halls were lined with posters of previous plays the theater had put on, and it seemed endless. The temperature started to lower, and soon it became evident why. At the end of the hallway were two sets of glass doors that led to a glass balcony. Elsa gasped as Marie led her towards the balcony. "I have to use the bathroom really quick," Marie said as she let go of Elsa's hand. "Be right back." Elsa nodded and clasped her hands in front of her.
Memories of Marie's high school days swirled around in her mind. She had been to this theater before during a state One Act trip, and she remembered her entire cast standing on the glass balcony together. She remembered wanting to bring someone special back to this place. As Marie washed her hands, she felt as though she had honored that wish. A warm feeling spread throughout her.
She exited the bathroom and searched for her date. Her eyes soon found Elsa, and Marie paused. Elsa was standing out on the glass balcony staring out into the city. The lights illuminated her with a warm glow and shone around her as though it was a halo. Elsa closed her eyes as a light breeze tossed her long blonde hair. The snow fell softly around her, and her expression was peaceful. She was beautiful: absolutely stunning. Marie trembled. There it was: that familiar feeling of chaos and certainty. She took a step forward. There were so many things Marie wanted to say, so many memories that she wanted to share with Elsa. Marie opened the doors with shaky hands, her heart pounding. Elsa turned her head towards her and smiled. Marie approached and stopped a few feet away. Elsa watched her silently as though she could sense that Marie had something to say. Marie clenched her fist. "What is it about me?" she asked. Elsa tilted her head. Marie relaxed her hand but looked away at the bustling street below them. "Why do you love me?" Before Elsa could respond, Marie kept going. "Why would someone like you feel that way about someone like me? I'm…" She looked at Elsa. "I don't feel worthy."
Elsa's facial expression fell. "Marie…"
Marie fought back tears like she fought back her own feelings. "I'm not worthy of you, yet I-…I want nothing more than to be by your side!" A cold wind blew past them, but Marie barely felt it from the heat that her body was producing in waves. "I keep remembering things. All of the adventures, all of the moments we shared…all of the things we did…" A hot tear leaked from her eye. "I'm not worthy of your love, but…" Marie stepped towards her, closing the distance between them. She slid her hands into Elsa's. "I want to spend everyday trying to be worthy enough for you."
"Oh, Marie," Elsa breathed, cupping Marie's face. Marie's entire body pounded as Elsa pressed their foreheads together. "You are worthy. So worthy." She rubbed their foreheads together, and Marie melted under her touch. "No one else is more worthy than you." Elsa pulled her forehead away but kept her face near Marie's. Their breaths mingled, and Marie could feel the presence of Elsa's lips hovering over her own. "I don't want anyone else…Only you." Marie began closing her eyes as Elsa's lips grazed her own.
"Excuse me." Both women flinched in surprise at the sudden voice. Elsa groaned in exasperation while Marie thought her knees were going to give out on her. The same young employee that greeted them at the entrance stood in the doorway of the balcony. He shrunk under the glare of Elsa. "Um, s-sorry, but this balcony is closed after 9 p.m."
Elsa took a deep breath. She motioned for Marie to go first. "After you."
A click sounded in the darkness as the hotel room door shut. Marie walked to the window and opened the blinds, and, like a candle, the city lights cast a faint glow into their room. Elsa came and stood by Marie's side. They gazed at one another until Marie cleared her throat. "I'm going to change into my pajamas." She moved her hair to the side and turned her back to Elsa. "Um…would you mind helping me unzip?"
Elsa stood behind Marie, her lips lightly grazing the back of Marie's head. "If you do the same for me," she whispered. Her cold hands pressed against Marie's upper back, causing Marie to gasp. She blushed when Elsa's body pressed against her own, especially her chest. Slowly, Elsa's hands found Marie's zipper and like a droplet of water, her fingers ran down Marie's bare back as she pulled the zipper down. Once finished, Elsa's fingertips lingered on Marie's lower back as she pressed her forehead against the back of Marie's head. Marie's breaths were heavy, and she slowly turned around and clasped Elsa's shoulders. They stood in silence, merely taking in the other's presence with shaky, baited breaths. Elsa slowly turned around and moved her blonde hair out of the way.
Marie took her time finding the zipper as she slid her hand underneath Elsa's shawl. As it slid to the floor, Marie said in Elsa's ear, "That's a very pretty shawl."
Elsa smiled and turned her head towards Marie. "I wanted to match you."
Marie's hands slid over Elsa's shoulders and upper back. "You did." The urge to kiss her bare skin flooded Marie, but she resisted, enjoying the process a little too much. She found Elsa's zipper on her dress and pulled it down with her thumb and forefinger while the rest of her fingers trailed down her back. Marie's heart raced when she saw that Elsa was not wearing anything underneath her dress, but neither was she. This ignited something within Marie, and her breath cascaded over Elsa's skin as she pressed her forehead against the back of Elsa's head. Her fingers softly explored Elsa's lower back, and her body burned when Elsa let out what sounded like a whimper. Elsa turned around, not breaking away from Marie's touch. Marie cupped her face and Elsa cupped hers. Their breaths mingled as their lips parted. "Um…" Marie pulled away slightly. "There's something else that I want to do, but let's change first."
Elsa gripped the top of Marie's dress as her forefinger caressed Marie's bottom lip. "Alright," she breathed. Marie broke away and entered the bathroom to change into her nightgown. With shaky hands, she smoothed out the pink gown and tied the strings above her chest. Once she double checked with Elsa, she exited the bathroom to see Elsa standing in a dark purple silk nightgown that brought out her beautiful figure.
Marie looked to the side as her face flushed deeply. "You just went and got the greatest outfits, huh?" She inwardly chastised herself after speaking.
Elsa giggled, covering her mouth. "It's okay to say that I look good, Marie."
"You do," Marie responded shyly. She eyed Elsa as the city lights illuminated her nightgown with a fiery light. Marie blushed. "You look really beautiful." She pulled out her phone and found a song. "Will you dance with me?" Elsa nodded and approached Marie, who took her hand and began playing the song Anouman by Pearl Django. It was a soft ballad of guitar and violin. They swayed gently together as the instrumental piece swelled throughout the room.
Elsa rubbed her head against Marie's happily. "This feels like a dream," she said softly.
Marie closed her eyes. "Yes, it does." They continued to sway, their bodies pressing against each other. "I've remembered so much ever since you came."
Elsa pulled away slightly. "Like what?"
The song went into a solo with the violin. Marie pulled her closer. "Things that have happened," she said in a teasing tone, inducing a small, playful frown from Elsa. Marie chuckled. "Things that we did together, the adventures we had…the moments we were close, just like this." Marie pressed the side of her face against Elsa's. "There's something that I can't quite recall fully."
Elsa's breath glided over Marie's cheek. "What is it?"
Marie shivered and gripped Elsa's back tightly. "The time when we were in the bath house, and you were trying to heal me." She pulled away and looked at Elsa. "Could you jog my memory?"
The queen ran her finger over Marie's lips once more as she leaned in. "Of course," she said, coming within a hair's length of touching Marie's lips with her own. Elsa guided Marie to her bed, and they both sat down. Elsa's eyes were burning into Marie in a way that made her want to pull her in and kiss her, but she resisted yet again. The charged energy between them was too irresistible. Elsa began to push Marie down on her back. "I still remember where every cut was," she said as her hands ran across Marie's face and neck. She drew a line on the bottom of Marie's neck. "Here." Her fingers moved to Marie's upper chest. "Here." Elsa glided her fingers across Marie's abdomen, causing Marie to shutter. "And here." Elsa leaned down and placed both of her hands on either side of Marie's head, gripping the sheets tightly. "I began healing you, then said, "Forgive me for being abrupt-""
""But this would be easier if I straddled you,"" Marie finished. Elsa froze in surprise. "That I remember."
Without hesitation, Elsa climbed over Marie's body and settled her weight on Marie's hips. "I really could see your wounds better," she said in defense, leaning down and speaking close to Marie's face. She leaned back, and Marie could tell she was trembling slightly. Marie lifted her arms and began caressing Elsa's face, finding that her own body was trembling as well. Elsa leaned down again and hovered over Marie. "Do you remember what happened next?" Marie answered by locking Elsa's arms in place with her hands. Elsa pressed their foreheads together and began breathing heavily. With a pounding heart, Marie slid her hands over Elsa's face, and then moved to her neck. Elsa gasped as Marie's hands kept going, feeling her chest, grazing over her breasts ever so softly. Her hands curved around Elsa's waist and squeezed her hips. Elsa bucked slightly, her face turning a shade of red that Marie had never seen before, yet knew she also shared. Elsa gripped the sheets even tighter. "You tease me so," Elsa breathed onto Marie's lips as hers quivered above them. Marie did not let up. She tugged at Elsa's hips as her own body shifted upward. Elsa gasped and bucked again, ice now forming on her hands and sinking into the sheets. Marie's hips met Elsa's as they rocked against each other. Marie gasped at the sheer power Elsa had in her body, and she tugged at Elsa's hips even harder, desperately addicted to the feeling of Elsa's body on her own. Elsa moaned, her body shaking. "M-Marie," she said in huffs, her eyes glossy. "I want you. I want you so badly…"
Say it, Marie thought to herself. Say the words, Marie! She sucked in a breath when she felt a hot tear land on her face. She caressed Elsa's face, wiping a tear away. "I…" She tried again. "I-"
Elsa let out a charged moan and pressed her entire body against Marie's, who gasped loudly as ice formed on both sides of her head on the bed from Elsa's hands. She gripped Elsa tightly as Elsa thrusted hard. It was an action so full of passion, so full of energy that Marie froze in place, unable to respond. Suddenly Elsa yanked herself away, her eyes widened and her face the deepest shade of red that Marie had ever seen. The royal sat up and gripped the bed, unable to look Marie in the eyes. Marie sat up and joined her side, and they both sat in silence except for the sound of their heavy breathing. Elsa stirred, her movements stiff. "Forgive me."
Marie shifted. "For what?" she asked softly, touching her side to Elsa's.
Elsa squeezed the bed even tighter, her face still flushed. "For acting too quickly. You're not ready for that." She shook. "Forgive me."
Marie leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Elsa's cheek. Elsa gasped and looked at her as Marie pulled away. "I liked it," Marie said. They both stared at each other for a few seconds before Marie tore her gaze away, suddenly realizing everything that had happened. She felt her own face, which was hot to the touch. She stood, her head reeling from the action. "We should turn in soon. Checkout is at 10:30."
Elsa nodded but remained seated, her face twisted in embarrassment. Marie ran her hand over Elsa's cheek before departing for the bathroom. Once the door was shut, Marie leaned against the wall. What had just happened? Not only did Elsa say that she loved Marie, but she also wanted her. Marie's legs shook as her skin still burned in the areas where Elsa had touched her. Something within her shifted, and Marie gripped her nightgown over her heart when she realized what the feeling was. She had felt it before, but not like this. This time it was different: safe, yet wild. Gentle, yet passionate. She began brushing her teeth and returned to bed to see Elsa standing in front of her bed holding an empty soda bottle. She looked at Marie with wide eyes. "I forgot about my drink, and it got all over the bed." Elsa threw the covers off her bed and patted the sheets. She hung her head. "It soaked through…"
Marie threw her own covers back and patted the pillow where her own head was just lying. "Then share a bed with me."
Elsa whipped her head to look at Marie, and a feeling of satisfaction spread throughout Marie at the nervousness that came across Elsa's face. "Are you sure?" she asked, her voice cracking.
Marie climbed underneath the covers, her heart pounding, and her body throbbing. "Yes." She hid some of her face under the red and brown blanket. "Although, I understand if you don't want to. I can sleep on the floor. and you can have-" She was interrupted by Elsa climbing into bed silently, her movements stiff. Marie swallowed a lump in her throat and turned off the lamp. She could see Elsa looking at her in the darkness, and Marie slid all the way under the covers, her own eyes glued to Elsa.
When Elsa realized Marie was staring at her, she turned over and said nervously, "Goodnight."
Marie softly touched the back of her hand to Elsa's back and sighed happily. "Goodnight." After Elsa felt Marie touching her, she rolled back on her other side and touched her hand to Marie's, and they eventually drifted to sleep.
