Originally this fanfic would only have one extra chapter, but then I started to think that a little of Kaminari would be fun, so here it is. The drama is coming in the next one.

Bonus Chapter 1
The electric guy
I was accepted into the heroes' course.
Professor Aizawa's words were still echoing in my head, and at first they hadn't made much sense. What do you mean I was accepted even after losing a fight?
The joint battles with classes 1-A and 1-B weren't very good for me, in fact they only made me recognize the abyss that still exists between me and everyone else in terms of physical ability and range of quirks. I needed to increase my physical training to raise my endurance in battle, not to mention that maybe I wouldn't do very well working alone as a hero, which was my goal in the beginning... Maybe my quirk was more efficient working in a group, and yet I still needed to be really helpful to everyone to make a name for myself...
But I would consider about it later, because now I was too happy to overthink about the difficulties that awaited me...
Because I was accepted into the freaking heroes' course and I officially had one victory more than Shoto Todoroki in the joint training and I wouldn't let him forget that ever, ever! Even though he made the effort to congratulate me later while hiding his true feelings about my new journey.
He stopped warning me about this path after I was accepted into the course, and I couldn't help but feel a little lighter about it. All I wanted now was encouragement and support, and maybe a lot of congratulations kisses that he still owed me.
But even in the midst of so much happiness there was still someone I needed to reach to fight in equal terms next time.
Izuku Midoriya, I think that maybe now, studying together, we would have more opportunities to test ourselves in a fight with no surprises like last time. Although I didn't even know which class I would end up joining. I still had a lot of paperwork to do about the official transfer to the heroes' course, I think I had already sent fifty messages to my mother about it and she had already stopped saying she was proud to "please let me work me peace for a few minutes".
It was impossible not to smile at the thought of my mother. I don't think anyone in my family had accomplished anything like this before. She had taken me out to dinner when she heard the news, then brought me back to school with food for two days so I could share it with Shoto.
Honestly, I've never been happier.
- That's it, I give up! - Denki Kaminari gasped as he hugged his own knees.
Oh, I had forgotten I was in the culinary classroom to help him out today.
I turned off the cell phone and put it in my pocket; I was surprised it was already past four pm, I think I was very entertained with the new Edgeshot interview that someone had uploaded at the fan forum. It was so rare for him to talk with the public that I just had to watch.
It wasn't my problem that Denki Kaminari couldn't cook and had chosen the worst extracurricular class to get extra points. Even the professor Lunch Rush had given up on him and asked me to keep an eye out until he finally managed to do something edible.
He had now one hour left until the professor came back.
Kaminari took out the oven the piece of charcoal that it was supposed to be a cake, then looked at me, giving me a half smile.
I started to wonder why I had agreed to help the professor today when Edgeshot was probably the number one at the search sites now. But then again, it wasn't my fault either, but Edgeshot's for picking such a bad day to do an interview.
- So - Kaminari cleared his throat - this is fine, isn't it? Can I go back to the dorm now?
- Weren't you the one who came in here and desperately asked the teacher for extra points because you were the last one in Class 1-A? – I said.
- So you remember me! - Kaminari smiled. He had used hair clips to keep the blond strands away from his face.
I rolled my eyes. Of course I remembered him, we kind of fought together at the joint training , and he wouldn't stop talking to me ever since.
- So —he started tapping in the counter as I looked the burned cake batter — why isn't professor Lunch Rush right here?
"He got tired of your voice," I thought.
- He was busy.
- Oh - Kaminari sighed - you know, I'm not so bad at studies, it's because the heroes' course...
- Hey, are you listening to this?
- What? - Kaminari approached, standing on his tiptoes.
I hold a smile. It was funny because he was a head shorter than me.
- The sound of silence - I replied - Shhhh...
Other people would have been annoyed, but Kaminari just nodded and smiled. So that was the kind of guy the country would depend on in the future. The heroes' course was really lucky to have accepted me.
Okay, thinking about the heroes' course was a bad idea, because then I started thinking about what I was missing in the Edgeshot interview, and how cool he looked with a mask. Nobody knew what his face actually looked like. If I used my artificial vocal cords device people would see me as a mysterious hero?
The sound of Kaminari's sighs brought me back to reality. He looked really sad right now.
- I think we can save the part that isn't burned with some sweet frosting, or whipped cream - I said - then we can go to the dorms after the professor take a look.
- Are you coming with me? - Kaminari said with a wide smile. It was clear he didn't understand - You know, Shoto has been listening to a lot of loud music lately and he said it's your recommendations, I kind of liked it, so...
- Cool - I replied - but I think I'll go to my dorm today, I'm tired.
- And you might want to watch the rest of the Edgeshot interview alone, I understand.
I looked at Denki. Usually I didn't like it when people knew what I was doing, but it was rare to find an Edgeshot fan. We were as mysterious and cautious as him.
- I heard a little - he pointed to my pocket, where I had kept my phone - he's cool, isn't he? A friend from my old school said he knew where he lived...
- Bullshit - I said - must have been a mistake. A real shinobi wouldn't let anyone know his true hiding place.
- That's what I told him!
Kaminari smiled again, he did that very easily.
- Okay - I took a deep breath - let's save this.
We had to cut half the cake to save the unburned insides. To my surprise Kaminari knew how to make whipped cream and even added a little vanilla to hide the smoke scent better. We found some strawberries in the fridge, enough to make the cake, which was now a tiny cake, looking appetizing in less than an hour.
- So why are you here? - Kaminari asked - Didn't pass in the tests either?
- After the joint training I realized that I'm going to join the heroe's course far behind everyone, including you, so I decided to collect all the extra points I can until the transfer, to focus more on the physical part.
- You're so smart - Kaminari said, licking what was left of the whipped cream.
I walked away from the counter when we heard the teacher's footsteps in the hallway. Kaminari got some extra points, but not all he expected, as he burned some of the cake.
- Hey, Shinso! - I was just leaving the classroom when Kaminari caught up with me in the hallway, still with a silly smile on his face, holding a slice of his tiny cake, now wrapped on a plate.
- What? Did I forget something?
- Give me your phone.
I blinked twice.
- Why?
- Not your number... - Kaminari sighed. He took the phone out of my pocket and I watched as an electrical current surged from the top of his head to his fingertips to my phone - Here it is.
He handed me the phone, which now had a fully charged battery.
- Wow, thanks - I replied.
- It was nothing - he said - now you will be able to watch the rerun of the interview online.
I put the phone back in my pocket, ready to go, but Kaminari was still standing there.
- Who will you take the cake to?
- Oh, for a friend - He seemed to think a bit - her name is Jiro... We played together at the school festival... Or would you like to eat some?
- No, no - I shook my head - you can take it to her.
- All right! - Kaminari nodded.
He looked a little discouraged, but maybe it was my mistake.
- Stop by my room when you visit Shoto - Kaminari walked in front of me, he had removed his hairpins and there were still flour marks on his pants - just ask for the electric guy, everyone will tell you which way.
I nodded, and Kaminari gave me one last smile before walking ahead, leaving the building.
My phone started ringing, it was Shoto calling me, probably wanting to know where I was.
I don't think he would ever tell me which room Kaminari lived if I ever asked.
