Indi walked back to the castle, pondering what he had seen. The tracks were roughly the size of a young Allosaurus, but the claws were the wrong shape.

As he strode through the streets, he saw several people making their way to the courthouse, which was located on the other side of town, near the town jail, where people who had committed smaller offences (theft, vandalism, and the like) were held.

As he walked across the bridge that led to the castle, a small flock of Dimorphodons flew overhead. He could not discern which were mutants and which were pure animals.

As he got closer to the castle, he saw a mosasaurus breach, the large animal sending up a wave of water from the impact.

He walked through the castle gates, and standing in the courtyard was Elsa, accompanied by her handmaidens.

"Sir Indi," Elsa said as the knight bowed. "I trust everything was alright with Lapsus?"

"Eh, more or less," Indi said.

"Whatever do you mean?"

"I saw... something that didn't bode well."

"Sir Indi, tarry no longer," Elsa said. "Walk with me, and speak your mind."

As Elsa strode on, her handmaids followed behind her silently. Indi fell into step beside the queen.

"What did you find, Sir Indi?"

"Something killed Lapsus' goats." Elsa fell silent. "I got there, and each was slaughtered. Some were partially eaten."

"This is worrying," Elsa said. "Did you see any evidence of the perpetrator?"

Indi described the footprints.

Elsa was silent for a moment. "We shall look into this matter after the trial."

Indi nodded, pondering over his thoughts as he walked with Elsa and her handmaidens over the bridge that led to the town. As the group made their way into the area of town that held some of the wealthier people and shops, the citizens parted and bowed respectfully.

Indi looked from side to side, analyzing each person quickly.

As Elsa walked on, a Pteranodon flew over head, before landing on top of a roof. The creature shrieked, before morphing into a young teenaged male with blonde hair, who watched the procession intensely.

As the courthouse came into view, Indi looked up and saw a wing of dragons fly overhead. The reptiles landed and their riders dismounted. Astrid looked at Indi, before tapping Hiccup's arm. Hiccup said something to the group, and the riders lined up and bowed as Elsa approached them.

Indi noted that the riders had changed their traditional clothes for the garments of the people of Arendelle. He presumed that Elsa had the seamstresses of Arendelle working tirelessly to produce such clothing.

Hiccup wore a green shirt and pants. He had a single leather shoe. A tanned leather vest donned his shoulders and chest. Fishlegs wore a large brown suit, a small bow tie just beneath his chin. Beside Fishlegs was Heather, who wore an green dress that matched her eye color. Indi noted that Heather had a light dusting of makeup on her face, which made her cheeks an ever-so-slight rosy pink. Tuffnut wore a brown suit, and his sister Ruffnut wore a simple dress of the same color. Snotlout wore a black suit that hugged his muscular form. All of the Vikings wore their helmets if they had one.

Astrid wore a light blue dress that hugged her torso and waist tight, before billowing out slightly at her hips. Her hair in the usual braid that sat on her shoulder. She wore no makeup, though Indi noticed that she had exchanged her cloth bracers for white gloves.

"Lord Haddock," Elsa said. "I'm glad you decided to come and support my sister. But I must ask: Where is your father?"

"My dad received a Terror mail last night, Your Majesty," Hiccup said awkwardly. "He had to leave to take care of a problem on Berk. He said I am to fill in for him. Claimed it was part of my chiefly training."

"I understand," Elsa said with a smile, hiding her mild disappointment. She had been hoping Chief Stoick would be at the trial, but nevertheless took pity on the Viking heir.

The bell tower on the church rang, the clangs counting out twelve.

"Let us go inside, shall we?" The group nodded and entered the courthouse.

Indi sat on the wooden bench next to Elsa. A few moments later, several guards entered the courthouse, escorting two prisoners: the Marquess of Ceopic and the Duke of Weselton.

As the two men were sat in wooden chairs at the front of the judge's stand, Judge James Richards, now wearing a black silk robe, sat in the highest seat on the stand. Elsa rose from her seat and strode with purpose and dignity to the front of the room.

"We are here to try you both for your crimes of conspiring and acting out a plot to defile my sister, Princess Anna of Arendelle," Elsa said. "Though she is recovering, we shall have these events proceed regardless. We shall display our evidence, and the jury shall choose an appropriate verdict and sentence. As I am unable to remain neutral in this case, Judge James Richards shall keep order."

As Elsa returned to her seat, the judge rapped the gavel on the plate.

"These proceedings have come to order," Judge Richards said. "Jacob, Marquess of Ceopic, come to the stand."

The young man was hauled to his feet by a guard and was sat in a chair by the judge's stand. A man in white clothing came forward with a black book that had a golden cross on the cover. Jacob placed his hand on the book and made a vow.

Indi felt a prickling in the back of his head. He shook his head, thinking the feeling to be a fly or some other small, annoying insect.

As the feeling seemed to intensify, Indi scratched the back of his head.

Elsa glanced over at him, before reaching over discreetly and taking his hand. Indi relaxed as the sensation in his head subsided, allowing his hand to meld with Elsa's, their fingers interlacing.

"Jacob, Marquess of Ceopic, you are being tried for the crime of raping her Highness, Princess Anna," Judge Richards said. "Do you have any evidence for your innocence?"

"No, Your Honor," Jacob said.

The judge nodded. "According to the report here, Sir Indi Rex found you and the princess together, correct?"

Jacob nodded. Indi noted that it was not entirely correct, but close enough. That credit actually went to Lapsus.

"And what were you doing with the Princess?"

"Taking her," Jacob said solemnly. As these words left his mouth, Elsa's hand tightened around Indi's. Indi felt Elsa's hand start to get cold. The assembled crowd starting shouting for the young man to be hanged. As Judge Richards rapped the gavel, Elsa spoke a single word.

"Silence."

Elsa's commanding voice quieted the crowd.

As the trial continued, the prickling sensation returned. It was all Indi could focus on. As his head started to ache from the prickling, he glanced over at Elsa. She was very lovely today, but her beauty could only offer momentarily reprise from the sensation. As the trial for the Marquess continued, Indi looked for nearly anything to take his mind off the irritating prickling in his head. He tried focusing on the trial, but at this point it felt excruciatingly boring. He looked over into the crowd, and saw Princess Rapunzel sitting between her parents. She wore a green dress and some light make up. Looking closer, Indi noticed the light touch of sweat on her brow. He flashed her a weak smile, which she returned.

As the trial for the Marquess concluded, the young man was escorted back to his seat. When he sat down, the Duke was called to the stand.

Indi sat up straight. Things should be getting interesting.

As the man dressed in white came forward once again and offered the book, the Duke made a vow as well, but his was a bit longer than the Marquess.

"Duke of Weselton," Judge Richards said. "You are being accused of the crimes of conspiring to act out a plan to defile a member of the royal family and for aiding the mutual enemies of Arendelle her allies of the Isle of Berk. How do you plead?"

"Innocent on all charges."

"Lies," Indi muttered. The room silenced, and every set of eyes turned to the young knight. Elsa sent him a quick look, but Indi paid it no mind. He had had enough of this weasling little man.

"Sir Indi," Judge Richards said. "Do you have a testimony?"

"Indeed I do, Your Honor," Indi said, rising from his seat. "I also stand as the representative of the Dragon Riders of Berk, as I am the one who forged the alliance with them."

"Step forth, Sir Indi," the judge said, glancing at his queen. The young ruler shrugged. Indi strode to the middle of the room.

The man in white stepped forward, offering the book. Indi declined, and the entire room except the Vikings looked uncomfortable.

Indi turned to the Duke. "Your Honor, gentlemen of the jury, after the queen initially interrogated the Marquess of Ceopic, she informed me that he revealed that the Duke of Weselton had contacted him and convinced him to act out a plan to rape the princess." He began to slowly pace back and forth deliberately. Following this, we, the Dragon Riders and myself, were sent to Weselton to gather evidence. While the Duke was out of his office, I infiltrated and gathered a letter that was signed by the Duke of Weselton. The letter was from the Marquess of Ceopic, agreeing to enact their plan."

"Are you in possession of this letter?" the judge asked.

"I, personally, am not," Indi said. "I gave it to Queen Elsa, before the actual attack on Weselton."

"Queen Elsa, do you confirm these statements?"

"I do," Elsa said, before turning to one of her handmaidens. "Go fetch the letter."

"Of course, Your Majesty," the young woman said as she scurried out of the courthouse.

"Please tell us what you found during the battle, Sir Indi," Judge Richards said.

"Before the attack," Indi said "I witnessed several houses being used to quarter the ranks of dragon hunters."

Elsa frowned at this. When she found that Arendelle did not have a formal law against the quartering of troops in the houses of her subjects during peacetime, she remedied it immediately with a law. Her citizens would only be had to quarter soldiers during war that threatened Arendelle herself, and even then there were certain behaviors that the soldiers were made to follow.

"In fact, this was told to me by one of the dragon hunters himself, as well as one of the citizens."

"Interesting," the judge mused as he made a note on a piece of paper.

"In addition to quartering, I found that the Duke of Weselton had allowed the dragon hunters to construct several large scale weapons on his land. These weapons, such as catapults and ballista, are used in the capturing and subduing of dragons. I have encountered them during my time with the Dragon Riders."

"Do you concur with these statements?" Judge Richards asked, turning to the Duke of Weselton.

The small man scowled hatefully at Indi as he spat two words. "I do."

"What happened to these weapons?" Judge Richards asked, turning his attention back to Indi.

"They were destroyed by the dragons," Indi said. "It was a necessary measure, as they would have made the mission near impossible if we left them standing. I believe Lord Hiccup's Night Fury destroyed the main one with a plasma blast."

The light clicking of small feet caught everyone's attention. Indi turned to see Elsa's handmaiden returning with a scroll of paper. Elsa motioned to Indi, and the woman timidly handed the paper to the knight. Indi turned and walked the paper to the judge. The man rolled the paper open and scanned his eyes over it for a few moments.

"Sir Indi Rex," Judge Richards said. "I find that your statements correlate with this letter. It is indeed signed by the Duke of Weselton." He turned it around so that the assembly could see. I'm sure the jury would like to examine it more clo-"

Suddenly, a loud roar from outside interrupted the judge, a roar that Indi did not recognize.

He turned, his hand moving down to the grip of his sword. "I'll take care of it."

As he walked down the aisle, a loud scream sounded out. He ran to the doors and threw them open.

He turned his head back. "Guys, I'll need your help."

Elsa looked to face Hiccup. "Go assist him. We shall continue the trial."

"As you wish, Queen Elsa," Hiccup said as he rose, leading the group of riders to the door.

Indi ran down the steps of the courtyard, late afternoon light washing over him. He turned to see the subjects running into the town. A loud roar in the opposite direction caught his attention. Thundering past him was a medium sized dinosaur. It ran on two legs, its arms significantly shorter. It had a red head, neck, and back. Its belly was a light tan. Black stripes adorned the back of its neck, the top of its body and tail, and the front of its thighs. A blade-like horn, cream in color, sat on its nose.

Behind him, Hiccup and Astrid came up on either side of him. The riders quickly summoned their dragons.

"Indi!" Brynn shouted as she ran up to him. "What was that thing?!"

"I don't know," Indi said as the dragons landed in front of the group. "Take Sleuther, and keep that thing from attacking anybody."

"Indi, where should we drive it?" Fishlegs said.

"Push it towards the castle," Indi said. "We'll keep it in the courtyard."

"And then what?" Snotlout said as he mounted Hookfang.

"I don't know," Indi said as he put his shield on his left forearm. "I'm just making this up as I go along."

"Snot," Hiccup said. "You, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut need to go to the courtyard and make sure everyone is out."

Indi nodded. "Fishlegs and Heather, you two need to make sure that the citizens can get away from that animal safely. But don't hurt it." Heather nodded and the pair flew off towards the town on their dragons. "Hiccup, you and Toothless are with Brynn and Sleuther. Keep that thing on target. If it deviates from our course, correct it."

Brynn climbed on Sleuther's back as Hiccup mounted Toothless, the young Viking's prosthetic leg clicking into the harness that the Night Fury wore. The two Strike Class dragons took flight and shot off towards the town.

"What about me?" Astrid said, crossing her arms. "I'm not one of these meek Arendelle women who hide when there's danger."

Indi smirked. "Don't worry. You and Stormfly are my cover. I need you two to get me to that animal and make sure it doesn't kill me." Astrid smiled, and mounted Stormfly. She sat carefully, draping both of her legs over Stormfly's right side to accommodate her garments. She reached towards Indi and the young knight took the shieldmaiden's hand. He felt her pull him up onto the Deadly Nadder's back. As he settled behind Astrid, he shifted his shield so it would not hit the young woman. As Stormfly extended her wings, Indi set his hands on Astrid's hips. With one swift stroke, Strongly sent herself and her passengers into the air. Flying low, her claws just skimming the tops of the roofs, they quickly located the red dinosaur, which was in the middle of eating a man in a brown shirt and pants. It tossed its head back, swallowing one of the man's arms, blood coating the edges of its mouth.

Looking to the left, Indi saw Heather order her dragon to unleash fire at the dinosaur. Windshear complied, and drove the animal back from its meal with a blue fire blast. The animal roared up at the attacking creature.

Astrid guided Stormfly behind the dinosaur, its long tail swinging as it shifted its weight from side to side.

Stormfly landed quietly and Indi dismounted, his feet hitting the ground. The blue dragon took flight, and the young knight strode forward. The red-headed dinosaur turned to face Indi and roared.

Indi stood his ground as the dinosaur charged, its jaws gaping. Indi waited until he was just a few meters away from the dinosaur, before diving out of the way. The dinosaur was quick, and slammed its jaws down on Indi's shield, the sharp teeth making a squealing sound that caused the dragons to shake their heads in annoyance.

Indi fell on his back and felt himself being dragged across the ground by his arm, when his shield was torn from his grip. He watched as the dinosaur threw his shield, the metal circle clattering against the cobblestones.

Indi looked up as the dinosaur angled its head down, the teeth shiny with saliva.

The dinosaur ducked its head down, its jaws flying open above Indi's face. Instincively, the knight put his hands up, putting one on the animal's nose and the other on the end of its lower jaw. He pushed as hard as he could, his muscles burning from the effort. He yelled, his face contorting into a snarl. He refused to be eaten.

Suddenly, the pressure released as Deadly Nadder spines flew between the two bodies. The animal roared up at the dragon, and Indi scurried away from the animal. Indi turned on his heel and ran through the streets.

"Let it follow me!" he shouted. He saw Astrid signal to the other riders, and the red-headed dinosaur charged after the small morsel.

Indi ran through the streets, not glancing back, instead trusting the sounds of the dragons and the thundering footsteps behind him to judge where the animal was.

As he rounded a corner, he saw several people running into various alleys. A quick glance behind him revealed that the animal was still there. It roared as Indi ran across the narrow bridge that led to the castle, and followed after the small mammal.

Indi charged through the gates and he felt a set of claws wrap around his torso, lifting him into the air.

He looked down, and saw the dinosaur roaring up at him. He looked up and smiled at the blue dragon that had him in her claws. As the gates shut, the animal roared, the call quickly waving in volume. Stormfly banked to the left, gliding over the castle walls. As she set down, she released Indi from her claws. Indi's feet hit the ground, and he made room for the dragon to land.

As the riders came to him, all riding their dragons, he heard another roar from inside the castle gates.

"Well, that was fun," Indi said. "Let's go back to the courthouse."

"Indi, do you know what that thing is?" Hiccup asked.

"I don't," Indi said as he climbed on Stormfly behind Astrid. "But I'm sure Elsa would be interested in seeing it."

Another roar from the courtyard sounded into the air.

"Are you gonna tell the queen about how you almost got eaten?" Astrid asked.

"No," Indi said. "And neither are you. The last thing I want to do is worry her more. She has enough on her plate already.

Astrid smirked as the dragons took fight. As Stormfly flew, surrounded by the other dragons, Indi's head tipped forward, his vision clouding around the edges. He rubbed his eyes, and blinked as his vision darkened.

"Indi!" Astrid said.

Indi came to immediately, his vision clearing. He saw that everyone was waiting for him and Astrid to dismount from Stormfly. They had set down outside the courthouse.

"By Thor's hammer," the blonde shieldmaiden said. "I've been trying to wake you up for a while now."

"Sorry," Indi said. "I haven't been sleeping well."

He dismounted, and put his hand up to help Astrid down. Astrid blushed as she took his hand, before sliding off her dragon.

"Gotta keep up a good image for the people," Indi said, to which Astrid snorted.

Elsa sat in her seat and observed the trial proceedings. If she wanted to, she could have both men put to death immediately. But, she decided to allow the court system to handle things. The Duke continued to try to prove his innocence, yet, the more he talked, the more he incriminated himself.

The doors banged open, and the room silenced. In walked Indi and the Dragon Riders. The young knight's hair was disheveled, and his clothes were wrinkled. A tired, dazed look was in his eyes.

"Sir Indi," Elsa said as the group bowed to her. "I trust everything went well?"

"It could have went better," Indi said as he sat down, and buried his face in his hands. His head started pounding once more.

Elsa set a hand on Indi's back. "Continue the trial."

Judge Richards nodded, and continued speaking with the jury.

Elsa took Indi by the shoulders and sat him up straight, before pulling him over, allowing him to rest his head on her shoulder.

Indi dozed off quietly, dreaming faintly about flying through the clouds. He was not on a dragon, for it was just his body, gliding along.

The rapping of a gavel woke him from his sleep. His eyes snapped open.

"Gentlemen," Judge Richards said. "Have you reached a verdict?"

"We have, Your Honor," one of the men said as he stood. "We find the defendants guilty on all charges."

Elsa nodded to the judge, who spoke. "I hereby find the Duke of Weselton guilty of conspiring against the royal family. Your sentence shall face imprisonment for life. I hereby find that Jacob, Marquess of Ceopic, is guilty of conspiring against the royal family and guilty of raping a member of the royal family. You shall be put to death." The judge gathered his papers and left the room. Elsa stood, and turned to the soldiers that were present.

"Take the Duke of Weselton to a cell. And as for Jacob…" The queen glanced at Indi. "Take him to the Velociraptor paddock. I shall be there shortly."

The soldiers bowed. "Yes, Your Majesty."

As Indi stood, Elsa took his hand. "Are you ok?"

"Headache," Indi said.

"Come," Elsa said, taking his hand. "Just a little more. Then I'll take you back to the castle." Indi nodded, and allowed Elsa to lead him on. The Dragon Riders walked behind them. As the queen and the knight exited the courthouse, Toothless growled at the prisoners, baring his teeth. Stormfly flexed her quills. Flying overhead was a Pteranodon, followed by a Whispering Death. The sun had begun to set, the bottom grazing the horizon.

Elsa strode on, leading the procession to the Velociraptor paddock. Indi watched as the citizens came out of the woodwork to watch. A Dimorphodon landed on a roof, swallowing a fish. As they came to the paddock, Elsa climbed the stairs to the walkways overhead, her feet leading the slight caphonomy that sounded out. As Indi stood next to Elsa, he looked down. He caught a glimpse of Blue, creeping through the brush.

Across on one of the walkways that were suspended above the main paddock were the Marquess and several guards. "Lord Hiccup," Elsa said. "You and your friends stay here. Sir Indi, come with me." Elsa strode out across the suspended walkway to where the Marquess was.

"Jacob, Marquess of Ceopic, you are hereby sentenced to death. As we are a civilized nation, you shall receive your last rites." The man who wore white came over and started speaking to Jacob. Indi turned his attention down below, where Charlie cawed up at the humans that were gathered above her home.

Delta strode from the brush and chirped. Indi made the noise back at her, to which Echo shrieked.

As the last rites concluded, the man in white left. Elsa cleared her throat. "For your crimes, you will be dropped into the Velociraptor paddock and left until dead. Sir Indi, if you would…"

Indi stepped forward and stood before the Marquess.

"May the Lord our God have mercy on your soul," Elsa said.

Indi put his hands up and shoved the Marquess of Ceopic over the railing. The young man yelled as he fell. Indi watched in morbid fascination as Blue strode forward, her talons raising on her feet.

As Delta leaped into into the air, she shrieked, her talons and teeth bared. Elsa forced herself to look away as the man screamed.

Indi rode back to the castle in silence. Elsa hung onto his shoulders, looking down at the houses below. They glided over the castle, going into a shallow spiral, until the dragons landed at the front gate. Indi dismounted, and helped Elsa down. A loud roar sounded out from inside.

"Indi, what did you put in my castle?" Elsa said.

"I though you'd want to see it," Indi said as he rubbed his temple. "I haven't seen anything like this before." Elsa waved her hand, and a spiral staircase materialized, her ice magic swirling upwards until a walkway appeared that went over the courtyard. Elsa climbed upward and Indi followed her. As the group came to the walkway, Elsa looked down.

Striding across the courtyard on strong hind legs was a red and tan dinosaur. Elsa's brow creased she watched. The dinosaur snapped at the air, thrusting its head forward.

"Indi…" Elsa said.

"I know," the young knight said. "We don't know what it is."

Elsa snapped her fingers, the sound catching the attention of the carnivore. She strode off, the walkway bending to accommodate her path to a balcony that led inside the castle. She located a castle guard. "Fetch me Miss Dearing."

"Of course, Your Majesty," the man said with a bow, before he strode off. As Indi stepped inside the castle, he cheek started to pulse with dull pain.

Elsa glanced over to him, and her expression softened. "Indi, if you would like, you can go to your room."

Indi nodded meekly, and walked off. He could feel the queen's eyes on him until he rounded the corner.

Elsa turned and walked the other direction. She heard the Dragon Riders following her. Hiccup fell into step behind her.

"Who is this Dearing person?"

Elsa glanced over at the Viking Heir. "She is in league with Von Schwicke and the Dragon Hunters. She might be able to give us information about this animal that has come to us, as well as useful information on our mutual enemies."

Hiccup nodded. "Is there anything you would like us to do, Your Majesty?"

Elsa thought quietly for a moment. "Yes. If you would, summon your Toothless."

Indi stumbled through the halls, his vision blurring. He could taste metal in his mouth, and his head felt like a blacksmith had used it for an anvil. He tripped on a carpet, and managed to catch himself just before his head connected with the floor. As he staggered to his feet, he strode into his room. He pulled off his shoes and socks, before collapsing onto the bed. He pulled his clothes off sluggishly, before pulling on a pair of sleep pants and a casual shirt.

As he lay back, he felt the bed embrace him in slight comfort.

As Elsa sat in her throne, Toothless walked inside the room, his eyes wide. He bounded around, overly curious. Elsa smiled at the Night Fury's antics, but her servants and guards were appropriately frightened.

"C'mere, bud," Hiccup said. Toothless bounded over and nuzzled his rider.

As the door opened once again, a pair of guards stepped inside the throne room, escorting a woman with orange hair. Dirt and grime covered her dress and face.

"Miss Dearing," Elsa said, as Yeager scuttled over to the queen. Elsa bent down to gently stroke the animal's hairlike feathers, before sitting back up. "I am need of your assistance."

Dearing nodded.

"Come with me."

Elsa rose and turned, before striding to the courtyard. Dearing followed behind her quietly.

As Elsa walked to the courtyard, the animal roared.

She opened the door to show Dearing the creature. The woman gasped.

"Do you know what this animal is?" Elsa asked.

"I do," Dearing said. "I didn't think it would grow this quickly."

"What is it?" Elsa said sternly, starting to grow impatient.

"It… it's a Ceratosaurus."

Elsa stood in silence for a moment. She turned to a guard. "I want this animal fed three meals a day. When you eat, it eats. Tell the general at once."

"Yes, Your Majesty," the guard said, before walking off in the direction of the barracks.

Elsa turned to look at Dearing, before turning to the remaining guard. "Give Miss Dearing a room. I want guards outside her room whenever she is in it. She is to not go anywhere unescorted."

From outside, a loud roar and a blaze of fire shot into the air from outside the castle walls. Behind her, Elsa heard the thundering of footsteps running down the hall. As the Dragon Riders rounded the corner, Snotlout shouted. "Hookfang?!"

The dragon roared again, and a small fireball shot into the air, before exploding. Toothless ducked his head down between Hiccup's legs and tossed the young Viking into the saddle.

The Night Fury shot out the door, above the roaring Ceratosaurus.

Indi lay in his bed, a scowl on his face. The pain had even crept into his dreams.

He received flashes of sight, various images from his past filtering through.

In the distance, a chime sounded out softly with a light ting.

He stomped on the ground, his tail swishing.

Ting.

He charged through the trees, turning his head to roar up at the dragons above him.

Ting.

He wrapped his jaws around the small body, and swung his head, sending the human into the trees.

Ting.

He slashed his claws at a black dinosaur, spilling hot blood onto the cobblestones.

Ting.

"Indi," a voice said, deep and gravelly.

Indi growled, his eyes shut tight.

Ting!

"Indi!"

The young knight was thrown from his bed, landing on the floor boards with a hard thunk. He staggered to his feet, and limped over to the mirror above the dresser. He poured some water from the pitcher into the wash basin, and splashed some of the liquid onto his face.

"Indi, look at me," the deep voice said. Indi noticed a slight echo. The young knight looked around the room, before speaking aloud.

"Who are you? Where are you?" Indi gasped as he looked at himself in the mirror. The white veins on his face had grown to take up his entire cheek, each thread fading into his normal skin. As the voice spoke, the veins pusled with each syllable.

"My, my, how dense you are. I've been forced to stay silent all this time. Now, you can hear me. And you will hear me."

"Where are you?"

The voice chuckled darkly. "Take a guess." Indi's eyes widened. "Don't speak… I hear something."

Indi remained silent, though not from his own will. "Something's coming."

Indi listened, and heard the sundering of large, heavy feet coming down the hall.

Someone pounded loudly on the door. Indi stood straight as he could. His mouth moved of its own accord. "Come in," the voice said, speaking through Indi's lips. Indi's eyes widened, just before the door opened. In rushed several large men, each dressed in the skins of dragons.

"There's the new dragon rider," one of the men said, his voice muffled by the visor on his helmet that only revealed his eyes, his nose and mouth obscured from view.

"Who are these guys?" the voice said inside Indi's head.

The Dragon Hunters aimed their weapons at the knight. "Come with us," the lead hunter said.

Indi stood stiff. "Why?"

"Because your queen will be rather displeased if you don't."

Indi's brow went into a scowl, and a hunter threw a knife. In a flash, Indi's hand moved the grab the blade, the point several centimeters away from his shirt. Indi's eyes went wide; his hand had moved of its own accord.

"My turn," the voice said. Indi launched himself at the man who threw the knife and his hand swung. As he pulled his hand back, Indi noticed that there were several deep lines on the man's throat, red liquid seeping onto the floor. The bleeding man clutched at his neck, before falling to the floor.

Indi heard a click, and whipped his head to see another hunter in a red uniform load a crossbow. Indi's arm swiped out, and snatched the weapon. He gripped the weapon with both hands and snapped the wood. He took the stock, and swung, the wood connecting with the hunter's skull, a sickening crunch sounding out.

He turned to see the lead hunter backing away. Indi's legs and feet moved on their own, carrying his body forward slowly.

The hunter fell to his knees, and Indi stopped. He tilted his head slightly, before grabbing the lone hunter by the throat and throwing him against the wall with a heavy thud.

The hunter sank down, his head tilting forward.

"Great," the voice said. "Which one should we eat first."

"What?" Indi said. A loud yell, followed by a scream came from down the hallway.

"You're right," the voice said. "We'll indulge later. You run, and I'll get us to safety." Indi, not knowing what else to do, ran out of the room and charged down the hall. He saw two hunters throw Princess Anna to the floor. Indi snarled, and launched himself at the hunters, taking the sword from one and impaling the other. He ripped the blade out of the dying man's torso, and spun, cutting the other hunter's throat. Both men hit the floor, where they died quickly.

Indi turned to see Anna on the floor. He strode over and helped the princess to her feet. "What's going on?"

"I don't know," Anna said.

"More are coming," the voice said. "Tell her to get on our back, and hang on."

"Our back?" Indi said, confusedly. He looked at Anna, her face equally confused. "Eh, get on my back. More are coming."

Without waiting for a response, Indi's arm reached out and grabbed Anna, he sung her behind him, and pressed her against his back. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, and Indi opened up a window. He looked out, when his body climbed out, claws starting to grow from the tips of his fingers. He hauled himself and Anna out the window, his fingers and toes digging into the wall, each digit gripping the stone with a strong claw.

Elsa shot a blast of ice at a hunter, when she saw Snotlout fall next to her. Astrid was knocked to the ground by a hunter as Hiccup at Toothless flew overhead. Suddenly, a bola flew into the air, downing the black dragon and tying the Viking heir to the dragon's back.

The queen turned to see the rest of the dragons in cages, each had a green-tipped arrow sticking out of their scaly hide.

From behind, Elsa felt something hard hit her in the side of her head. Her vision blurred, and she fell to the ground. As her head hit the ground, she saw a young woman with long blonde hair get tossed into an armored carriage.

Indi sank his claws into the wall of the castle, his toes gripping the stone as well. Anna's arms were wrapped around his shoulders, her legs and her nightgown fluttering in the heavy winds.

Looking up, Indi felt a drop of water hit his face. Thunder rumbled in the distance.

As he reached the roof, Indi reached up, and his arm slammed into the shingles, his claws sinking into them. As he hauled himself up, he looked over, along the peak of the roof. Sneaking along the top of the roof, were two figures, one big and bulky, the other shirt and thin. He snarled silently.

Lightning flashed high above, illuminating the clouds.

He crawled up the roof, and set Anna at the peak.

"Stay here," Indi said. "This could get dangerous." Anna nodded silently, and Indi turned.

Indi felt the control over his body fade as he started to walk over to the two figures. "I'm taking over," the voice said. "It's been far too long."

"Too long since what?" Indi said as his control was ripped from him.

"Since we've hunted."

Indi dropped to his hands, and started crawling on his hands and feet, though he did not have any choice. He felt a familiar sensation ripple through him. As he cralwed forward, his clawed fingers wrapped around the ridge of the roof, the point resting between his index finger and his thumb.

A gutteral growl crept from the depths of his throat.

The two men turned, and looked at the would-be assailant.

Rain started to fall, followed by lightning that flashed, revealing the identities of the two men. One man was of the ranks of the Dragon Hunters. The other, shorter man had glasses and grey hair. Indi snarled the second he saw him; the Duke of Weselton.

Indi crawled forward, starting to embrace the hunt. He tapped the clawed index finger on his right hand, the talon clicking faintly on the roof shingles.

The hunter produced a long spear, and quickly threw it at Indi, who ducked down and reached up, grabbing the sharpened pole. He stood up and snapped the spear in half as if it were a mere twig. He whipped his arms, throwing both ends at the hunter, one after the other. The two halves of the spear made direct hits, the broken end stabbing into the hunter's leg, the others end with the metal spearhead sinking into the man's shoulder. The man yelled as he slipped, before sliding down the roof and over the edge. His screams were cut off with a heavy thud.

Indi slowly turned his head to face the Duke, his eyes glaring out from beneath his brow. The Duke crept backwards, and Indi snarled. How this man had escaped, Indi could have guessed. But that was not his concern at the moment. Indi dropped down on all fours, and growled. The Duke took a hesitant step back.

Indi raised up, before slamming his hands down on the roof with a loud shrieking roar. The force of his hands made the structure shudder with the force. The Duke lost his footing on the slick structure, before sliding down the roof. Indi watched intensely as the small man slid over the edge, only just managing to catch himself on the edge that was over the courtyard. Lightning flashed above, accompanied by a rumble of thunder. Indi stalked down the slope of the roof, looking down at the red and tan carvinore that was revealed by the lightning. The beast strode over, looking up at the small morsel that was suspended above him.

As Indi snarled, he saw the Duke look up at him.

He reached down and grabbed the man's hand with his claws.

The Duke of Weselton yelled, and Indi started to pull the man up.

Indi's mouth moved, and a deep, gravelly voice crawled from his lips.

"We are sick and tired of your kind," the voice said through Indi's mouth. "You think you're the best thing that ever happened to this planet. I beg to differ.

"You see, your time on this rock you live on is nearly up, and you've just arrived. Look at what you've done. The people you've joined are toying with things they themselves do not understand."

The Duke looked up at the knight.

"You highly overestimate yourself and your species. You specifically, you miserable human, have attacked a member of the wrong pack."

Indi's hand relaxed, and the Duke of Weselton fell into the courtyard. The small man hit the ground with a splash, a puddle beneath him flying out in all directions.

The Duke looked up, and saw a large predator bearing down over him, water streaming down it's body. As he screamed, the red dinosaur roared and thrust its head down, jaws flying open.

Indi watched for a moment as the Duke of Weselton's screams were cut off, before turning around, and began crawling up the roof. Thunder rumbled loudly overhead.

He felt himself gain control over his body once again. He kept crawling, until he reached the summit of the castle roof. He turned to overlook the town, before inhaling deeply. He threw his head back.

Astrid raised her heavy head, her arms bound behind her back with thick ropes. She looked up at the castle, where she could make out a dark figure on the roof.

Suddenly, through the sound of the rain, a loud, shrieking roar blasted from the roof of a castle. Lighting ripped through the sky, illuminating a figure that was partially crouched on the roof from behind, blending with the fearsome roar that echoed over Arendelle.

"Thor be praised," she said quietly. "He's back."

Indi crawled over to Anna, and spoke to her. "Go to a room, and lock yourself inside."

Anna could only nod as she climbed onto Indi's back. Indi lost control of his body once again, and saw forced to crawl over to the edge of the roof, before helping Anna down and pushing her through the window.

"Go. I'll send someone for you when it's safe." Anna nodded, before running off, her hair and garments sticking to her with how wet they were with rainwater.

Indi turned the other way and strode through the halls of the silent castle.

"So, who are you?" he said aloud.

"I am you," the voice said. "You feel the need to suppress me, yet you can't deny the nature of what you are. Of what we are.

"How did you get here?" Indi asked.

"I thought I made that clear," the voice said. "I am you. I have always been here… inside your head."

Indi rounded a corner, and saw the entrance to the walkway that Elsa made that went over the courtyard.

Indi could pick up the scent of blood, a smell that he had not experienced in a long time.

Suddenly, Indi felt his body get thrown from the walkway. For a brief moment, he felt the air rush around him as his body angled to the ground. He hit the ground with a heavy thud, his feet stomping the ground.

He charged forward, and slammed himself against the gates. The gates creaked open as the wood spintered.

Indi took a once over, and saw the captured riders, their faces battered and bruised. His pulse started racing. He looked over at a woman with platinum blonde hair, and he growled. Elsa was lying unconscious on the cobblestones, the side of her head bloody.

Indi's eyes locked into the hunter's, and snarled, before unleashing a hellish roar.

Hey, guys, sorry for for the long wait. I've been busy working, and starting up a business is not easy. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Just to note, I've taken slight inspiration from the Venom trailers. I felt it fit with prior events in this story.
