I'm back! I'm so sorry for the long hiatus. In the intervening years since I've done any writing for this story, several things have happened that required me to take a break, more so to heal my mental health and look after myself and my animals. But, in any case, I hope you enjoy this chapter!
The princess and the knight, accompanied by the dragons, were led into the town square. Several children attempted to come close, only to be sternly called back by their parents.
"Please, come this way," Anja said. Indi took notice of some of the buildings, which were old but still stood tall and strong. Sleuther looked about at the people, his piercing eyes examining each one.
The smell of burnt wood reached Indi's nostrils. As they passed, he saw one of the buildings had burnt down.
As if sensing his question, Anja spoke. "This was the baker's home and shop. It had just burnt down two nights ago."
"Did everyone escape?" Rapunzel asked.
"Thankfully, yes," Anja said.
Indi looked across the charred wood, seeing several men picking through the debris. Two of the men lifted a charred beam, before tossing it aside. Several other men, some hardly more than boys, went over and began moving some of the other smaller debris, searching for anything to be salvaged. One of the boys picked up something small and left the rubble, making his way over to a woman. Her hair was frazzled, and a small girl hiding behind her. The boy held out the small object, and Indi saw what it was: a simple golden ring. The woman thanked him, and the boy nodded somberly, before making his way back to the other men.
Indi walked over to the woman. "I'm sorry for what happened." The woman jumped, before composing herself.
"Greta, this is Sir Indi Rex," Anja said "and Princess Rapunzel of Corona."
Indi felt Copal butt her head underneath his hand. "If there's anything we can do to help, please let me know."
Indi saw a large man with blonde hair walk over from the burnt structure. "Princess? Sir knight?"
"That's us," Rapunzel said.
"I am Aksel Jonason," the man said with a bow. "Please, tell me. Has word reached the queen?"
"About this?" Indi pointed at the remains of the shop. Jonason nodded. "If it has, I have not been informed." The large man's gaze fell, and he put his arm around Greta's shoulders. "If it is any consolation, I will deliver the message personally to Her Majesty."
"Thank you," Jonason said. "Thank you so much."
"Anja," India said. "Could someone fetch me a pen and paper?"
"Of course, Sir." the woman motioned to one of the women who had been watching the scene, who scurried off into one of the buildings.
"Mister Jonason, what can I do and have organized to assist you and your family?"
The woman returned and handed a piece of paper, an inkwell, and a pen to Anja, who in turn handed them to Indi.
As Jonason began listing things off, Indi wrote them down, doing his best to organize them in some order of importance. Occasionally, some of the other men would offer input for other things that were needed for the family.
After a few minutes, Indi and the Jonason family were satisfied.
"I'll pass this list on directly to the queen," Indi said.
"Thank you so much," Greta Jonason said. Indi nodded.
Ultimately, whatever would be fulfilled in the request would be up to Elsa's discretion, but he would do what he could. Since he had input from several of the townspeople, the list might have more authority.
"Where are you staying currently, Mister Jonason?" Rapunzel asked.
"In the inn, Your Highness," Jonason said. "My brother, the innkeeper has a small oven that I'm able to work at, and Greta has taken up work there as well."
Indi nodded. "At least you have work and a roof." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the small sack of coins that Elsa gave him. Opening it for the first time, he snorted amusedly, seeing that Elsa had given him quite a few silver and gold coins.
He pulled out several silver coins and a few pieces of gold, before handing them to the man. "Here. It's not much, but it should help cover your boarding until something else can be arranged."
"You honor us, Sir Indi," Greta said.
Indi smiled. "I assure you, I'm happy to help."
"Come," Jonason said. "Let us treat you to a meal."
Indi and Rapunzel smiled and followed the small family to the inn, which also functioned as a small tavern. Several of the other people of the town followed after, some out of curiosity of the newcomers, others out of a need to fill their bellies.
Jonason led them into the building, which had timber walls and a small fireplace on one wall. Behind a long counter was a larger fireplace, where several pots hung.
The barkeep was wiping off the counter.
"Askel! Bringing me customers, are ye?"
"Yes, Karl. We also have some special guests: Princess Rapunzel of Corona, and Sir Indi Rex and his dragons."
"Princess?! Knight?! Dragons!" Karl said. "Well, gentlemen, shove those tables to the side to make room for the beasts, and Askel, get back here and help me." After several of the men pushed the tables to the side, Sleuther crawled in, curling up near the small fireplace.
Indi sat down next to him, leaning up against the dragon's scaly hide. One of the men offered a chair to Princess Rapunzel, who accepted with a smile. Copal and Emerald curled up between the princess and the knight.
One of the men brought in some chopped wood and placed several pieces into the fireplace near the newcomers. He rummaged through his pockets for something, before producing a piece of flint and steel. He stepped towards the fireplace.
Sleuther shifted, opening his mouth, and shot a small fire blast into the wood, igniting it immediately. The man jumped back.
The men in the tavern laughed, and Indi pat the dragon's side. As they sat and waited for the food to be ready, the townspeople talked and laughed.
Greta approached Indi, carrying a tray of raw meat.
"We thought your dragons would like some food as well," she said. Indi smiled and accepted the tray. He gave Sleuther the largest piece, which he snapped down quickly. Indi turned to the Indominus Furies, and gave them each a piece of meat as well, carefully avoiding their strikes. The pieces were still quite large, so Copal and Emerald sat down, holding their meat with their hands, and tearing off bites with their jaws and teeth.
After some time, Indi and Rapunzel were each served a bowl of beef stew, with potatoes, onions, and carrots.
"We apologize," Anja said, as she assisted Greta. "It may not be the castle fare you're used to."
"Thank you," Rapunzel said. "I'm sure it's wonderful."
Indi took a bite and nodded. The stew was very good; the flavors were a bit stronger and less refined than what would be served by Arendelle's castle staff, but good and hearty, nonetheless.
As they talked with the people, Indi's mind drifted to Elsa. He pondered several ideas and decided on one to seriously consider. It would take some time, and he would need to prepare some things, but he would also need to be discreet.
After some time, both he and Rapunzel had finished their food.
"Thank you so much," Rapunzel said.
"It's our pleasure," Greta said with a curtsy.
"I'll give that list to the queen as soon as I see her," Indi said.
"Thank you, Sir Indi," Askel Jonason said.
Indi turned to Rapunzel. "Shall we press on?" The princess nodded.
Indi rose and walked to the door, Sleuther, Copal, and Emerald following him. Sleuther crouched down, allowing Indi to climb up. He reached down and took Rapunzel's hand, pulling her up to sit behind him.
"Thank you so much for your hospitality," Indi said as Anja, the Jonason family, and several other people exited the tavern. "I'll see what I can do to get the queen to expedite some assistance out this way."
"Thank you," Askel said.
Sleuther shifted his weight.
"Goodbye," Rapunzel called, and Sleuther flapped his wings, sending his body into the air.
As the large dragon soared upwards, the Indominus Furies followed behind.
After a few moments, Indi spoke. "They were nice."
"They were," Rapunzel said.
After another moment, Indi spoke. "I have a question for you; you and Eugene are married, correct?" The princess nodded. "How… how do I..?"
"Are you thinking about asking Elsa?"
"I'm considering it," Indi said. "I know that, with everything going on, it might not be the best time, but-"
"Do it!" Rapunzel said. "If you think it's right, do it. I may not have known you for long, but you are a good person, and I've seen how you and Elsa are around each other. I see how you make each other feel."
Indi looked out over the horizon. "I do care for her quite deeply."
The pair sat in silence, the only noise coming from the wing beats of the dragons around them.
After some time, Indi saw the city of Arendelle below them. Sleuther angled down, gliding over the rooftops, his shadow passing over the people below. Indi caught a glimpse of Brynn shielding her eyes and looking up at them.
As the dragons flew down, Sleuther circled the castle, before landing in the courtyard, followed by the Indominus Furies.
The Indi dismounted and helped Rapunzel down.
Indi unfastened the leather straps to Sleuther's saddle and hung the leather equipment from his shoulders. He sighed, and the doors to the castle opened. Out from the castle's interior came Queen Elsa, accompanied by a few of her handmaidens and Yeager. As she approached, Indi bowed while Rapunzel curtsied.
"Your Highness," Rapunzel said.
"Princess Rapunzel," Elsa said. "Your parents are expecting you." The princess nodded and curtsied once more, before walking into the castle. Sleuther walked up to Elsa, and the handmaidens stepped back, their eyes widening. The Queen extended her hand and rubbed the dragon's smooth. "Hello, Sleuther. Sir Indi, I request your counsel."
Sleuther took flight, landing on the castle's roof. Elsa's handmaidens looked visibly relieved.
"Of course," Indi said.
"Walk with me."
Indi fell into step with her, and she led him back into the castle. Yeager, joined by Copal and Emerald, walked at their sides. Elsa's handmaidens followed closely behind.
Just inside the door, Indi hung the saddle from a hook that Elsa had installed for dragon tack storage.
"I recently received a letter from the Southern Isles. King Charles has passed away." Indi sighed and nodded. "We have been invited to the funeral. Do you think we should go?"
"I think so," Indi said. "We've been invited. But whatever you decide, you have my support." Elsa smiled.
"Oh," Indi said, reaching into his pocket. "Princess Rapunzel and I visited a town to the east, somewhat close to the coast. The baker's home and shop burnt down." He produced the list. "The town is requesting aid in rebuilding the shop and living quarters." Elsa unfolded the piece of paper and scanned it. "I was told that any assistance would be greatly welcomed and appreciated."
"Thank you, Sir Indi," Elsa said, passing the note to one of her handmaidens. "Take this to my study and place it on the desk."
"Yes, Your Majesty," the young woman said, before curtsying and scurrying off.
As the group walked through the castle halls, Indi heard the distant roaring of a tyrannosaur.
"Would you like to join me for dinner?" Elsa asked.
"I'm afraid I have to retire to my room for the night," Indi said.
Elsa pursed her lips at this response, before turning to her handmaidens. "Leave us." The women obeyed and left the pair in the room with their animals. Elsa took Indi's face in her hands, her skin chilling the knight's cheeks. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, Elsa," Indi said. "I'm just tired."
Elsa looked into his eyes. "Alright. If you need anything, come find me."
Indi nodded and left the queen, turning to walk down a hallway.
"Oh, one more thing," Elsa said, before lowering her voice. "The manuscripts that Hiccup Haddock gave me about dragons. They're missing."
"You lost them?"
"Of course not," Elsa said. "They were in my study, and when I went in to copy them down into something more formal, they were not there."
Indi thought for a moment. "I'll write down what I know tomorrow for you." Elsa nodded, and the pair left each other. Indi came to his room and entered, closing the door behind Copal and Emerald. He removed his armor and changed into a white linen shirt. Flopping down into bed, he covered himself with the sheets. The dragons jumped up onto the bed with a flap of their wings, settling down around him.
He sighed out gently petting Emerald as he dozed off.
The predator stalked forward, his target completely unaware. The deer looked up, its head twisting around, aware of a threat but unable to discern where the danger was.
The predator sprung forward, and the deer lept into the air, dashing off. The predator charged after. The wind blew through the predator's hair, the cold air chilling his skin. He charged up a slanted boulder, and leaped off, the talons on his hands bared. He crashed down onto the deer, the pair sliding into the ground. The deer struggled and kicked, sending out a spray of leaves and dirt.
The predator sank his claws into the deer's flank, followed quickly by a set of sharp fangs into the animal's throat. The deer struggled, desperately trying to escape as it grew weaker.
After a few moments, the deer stilled, and the predator rose, placing a hand on the animal's shoulder, the fur still warm. It looked about, and seeing that it was alone, ripped into the animal's carcass, beginning to feed.
Indi staggered into town.
That was an enjoyable time, was it not? the voice said from inside his skull.
The lanterns around town had long been extinguished, the only light coming from the moon.
"It did feel good," Indi said quietly, his bare feet making hardly a sound on the smooth cobblestones. He went to the castle, coming to the wall. He let his claws slide from his fingertips and he climbed up the wall. Coming to a window, he gently pressed on it. The window did not budge, being firmly locked from the inside.
He climbed over to the next window and thankfully found it to be unlocked.
He quietly opened the window and climbed inside. Some poor maid would have an earful from the housekeeper for leaving a window unlocked during nighttime, so he quietly closed and locked the lower portion through which he entered.
He looked about, attempting to get his bearing on exactly where he was. Shrugging, he chose a direction and began walking quietly.
After a few moments, he came to a turn in the hallway and tripped over a rug. The sound he made as he hit the ground rang out in his ears, obscenely loud in the quiet of the night.
He groaned quietly, before staggering to his feet.
"Sir Indi?" a voice from down the hall said. "Are you alright?" Indi shook his head and saw a guard holding a lantern.
"I'm fine. Thank you," he said, before muttering to himself. "Stupid rug." The guard stepped forward, bringing the light closer.
Indi looked up to the guard, whose face twisted in horror. "M-Mother Mary..."
Indi stepped forward, and the guard turned to run, the light from his lantern disappearing around the corner.
Indi limped forward, his hip aching from the fall, before looking at his reflection in the mirror.
Blood was running from his lips and down his chin, before dripping onto his linen shirt. Around his mouth were red smears from where he had licked at the crimson liquid. He looked at his hands, which were significantly bloodied as well.
Perhaps we should have washed, the voice said.
"I hope I didn't scare him too much," Indi said quietly.
For a guard, you'd think he'd be accustomed to the sight of blood.
Indi pursed his lips, wiping his chin with his hand, staring at the smeared liquid for a moment, before limping forward. The taste of blood still in his mouth, he rounded a corner, before recognizing where he was.
"There, by the queen's chambers!" He looked up to see a group of guards, coming towards him from the end of the hall, weapons drawn. A glance at their faces showed that they were in no mood to talk.
They charged, and Indi turned to run.
He awkwardly limped away, suppressing the pain as he slowly increased his speed. He rounded a corner, glancing behind him to see the men catching up to him. He came to a landing that looked over a grand hall, a grand staircase curving downwards.
Indi climbed onto the banister and looked down, before seeing that the guards were almost upon him. He jumped out into the space and dropped, feeling the gloved fingers of the guards brush against him and they snatched at him in vain.
He fell, the air blowing past him for a beat, before he hit the tiled ground, rolling. He groaned and quickly staggered to his feet, hearing the sound of heavy boots thundering down the stairs after him. He burst out the doors, finding himself in the courtyard.
He whistled as he ran. "Sleuther!" The dragon appeared from above, landing in front of him. Indi quickly climbed onto the dragon's back, completely ignoring the need for a saddle.
Suddenly, a bolt whizzed by Indi's face, and he looked to see a guard reloading his crossbow.
Sleuther roared, flame licking from his mouth, before springing into the air. Indi hung on to the dragon's horns and looked back down at the guards, who had all exited the castle and were looking up at him. "What the fuck is going on?"
As if to answer, a jet of blue fire shot towards them. Sleuther dove to dodge the attack, and Indi looked back to see Hannah and some of the other dracomorphs flying towards him. Indi felt a sigh of relief creep into his throat, before seeing that the dracomorphs were covered in green chains and being ridden by Arendelle soldiers.
The one riding Hannah held a metal rod, and slapped Hannah's side, making her shoot another bolt of blue fire at the Triple Stryke.
"Go, go, go!" Indi shouted, and Sleuther shot off, their pursuers keeping pace.
Sleuther banked around the castle, roaring, before flying towards the town outside of the castle walls.
He dove into the town streets, flying low. The dracomorphs flew behind him, shooting fire.
Sleuther banked left, rounding a corner, doing his best to protect his rider.
He shot over a row of houses, dodging another fire attack this one from a Monstrous Nightmare, before turning right.
Indi snarled, his face serious. Sleuther flew straight, and Indi heard the voices of the soldiers behind him. "Faster! Don't let him get away!"
The sound of a Deadly Nadder inhaling reached his ears. As Sleuther passed by a tavern, Indi reached out and ripped down the sign that hung out above the door. He turned and held it behind him. The soldier slapped his mount with a metal rod, and the draconian attacker shot a blast right at Indi.
The sign absorbed the blast. Thankfully, it was a weak attack, though the soldiers more than likely didn't know that.
The citizens of Arendelle had come out of their houses to see what the noise was and were greeted with dragons flying by and roaring flames.
Indi ducked as Hannah was forced to shoot her spines at his head, and Sleuther shot into the air. He turned north, following the trail.
Sleuther dove down below the tree canopy. The soldiers followed the knight and his dragon into the small space. The tighter area forced the soldiers to control their mounts to fly more slowly. Indi saw this and grinned, urging Sleuther onwards.
"Fire, Sleuther!" The dragon snarled and folded his wings, tucking into a tight somersault and firing a shot at a tree, causing flaming branches to fall, and slowing down their pursuers. Sleuther straightened out, and Indi looked back to see that their pursuers had fallen back slightly.
"Up!" Indi shouted. The dragon obeyed, and shot upwards, unleashing a jet of fire in front of them to clear any large branches.
Crashing through the burning limbs, Indi hung onto Sleuther's horns and directed the dragon to turn hard. Sleuther banked, racing down towards the town once more. Behind them, Indi heard the soldier on Hannah yell. "Faster!" A jet of blue flame shot by Indi's head, too close for comfort, making him flinch out of the way.
From above, two dragons, a Deadly Nadder and a Changewing dropped down to fly on either side of them. Arendelle soldiers rode atop these dracomorphs as well.
"We are going to die!"
Sleuther angled his wings to catch the air in them, stopping suddenly, the Nadder and Changewing dracomorphs flying ahead for a few seconds and their riders struggled to control them.
We are not going to die! the voice inside Indi's head said with a snarl.
Sleuther dove down towards the town with a roar, flying among the streets. He shot two blasts of fire at a pair of lamp posts, causing them to crash down onto the streets just as they passed. Indi looked back to see the lamps shatter open, the oil spilling out from them igniting in small explosions.
"Good boy," Indi said, patting the dragon's shoulder.
Suddenly, from the left, a bola flew at the pair, wrapping around Sleuther's body and wings. The dragon crashed into the ground, sending Indi flying. Indi felt weightless for a moment, before suddenly reuniting with the cobblestones. The pair rolled for several feet, before coming to a stop.
Indi's body ached all over, and he struggled to draw air into his lungs. He looked over at Sleuther, who was several yards behind him and whose wings were awkwardly restrained by the ropes of the bola. The dracomorphs set down, and three soldiers came out from an alleyway.
The soldier riding Hannah dismounted, and shouted to the others, pointing at Sleuther. "Secure that thing!" He walked up to Indi, who lay on the ground, wheezing. Sleuther roared and shot fire at the approaching men. "Mind yourselves! Clamp its mouth shut."
One of the men managed to toss a lasso of chain around the dragon's snout, pulling hard to secure his jaws.
The soldier knelt by Indi, grabbing the knight by his collar. "Just who the fuck do you think you are? What are you doing to our queen?"
Indi coughed and the pair of them saw, lining the rooftops, a large number of youths. All of them were staring at the sight below them intently, their eyes inhuman.
"There, by the queen's chambers!"
Elsa was startled awake, her body jolting at the shouting outside of her room. The sound of thundering footsteps rumbles by her door. After a moment, the noise seemed to fade off down the halls. After a moment, someone knocked on the door softly.
"Come in," Elsa said. Her voice was barely above a whisper. In crept two of her handmaidens, who shut the door quietly behind them.
"Your Majesty," one said as they bowed. "We saw the guards chase Sir Indi down the halls. The knight was covered in blood."
Elsa sprang from her bed. "Help me get dressed. Quickly."
The pair of women began helping the queen ready herself. It was still an hour or so before she normally rose from her sleep, so not everything was ready. No matter.
Outside, Sleuther flew past Elsa's window with a roar.
After she had her dress put on, this one a deep forest green, the women attending Elsa combed her hair quickly. Once she was satisfied, she grabbed her crown and placed it on her head, before rushing out the door, forgoing any makeup.
As she ran down the hall, the castle had begun to stir early, more than likely in response to the commotion.
Something red caught Elsa's eye near a window. She slowed and examined it; blood had dripped from something, onto the windowsill. The drops led down the hall, towards her room, before fading. She rushed down the stairs and saw a smeared patch of blood on the floor tiles, and some on the handles of the doors that led to the courtyard.
She rushed outside, where she was met by Captain Jones.
"My Queen," he said with a bow.
"What is going on, captain?" Elsa said.
"I do not know, Your Majesty," Jones said.
The sound of dragons roaring from the town outside of the castle walls caught their attention. The pair ran off, Elsa's mind swirling.
Holding up her skirts as she dashed through the town, Elsa saw that several of the citizens were exiting their homes to investigate the noise. As she rounded the corner, Elsa became enraged at what she saw.
Sleuther was tied up and restrained by a rope, with chains around his mouth. One of her soldiers held Indi by the collar of his shirt, who lay on his back on the ground, covered in blood and dirt.
"Unhand him!" Elsa shouted.
"Larsen, what the hell are you doing?!" Captain Jones said, before glancing at the queen. "Apologies for my language, Your Majesty."
Elsa paid him no mind and flicked out her hand. As her magic struck the ground, several long icicles shot between Larsen and Indi, separating them. She flicked her wrist towards Sleuther, sending icicles through the ropes and chains, severing his restraints.
Sleuther roared and swiped his braided tails at the soldiers around him, sending them flying back. The dragon ran to Indi, snarling at Larsen and aiming his stingers at the soldier.
"Why are you riding dracomorphs?" Elsa said.
"Elsa," Indi said. "It's not their fault." The queen looked at the chains binding the dracomorphs.
"Release them," she said sternly. The soldiers obeyed and unchained the dracomorphs, who all promptly flew off. Elsa looked around at the rooftops, which were dotted with children. "Go home, you all. I'll handle this."
The hybrid children slowly slunk away, some glancing back.
Indi rose from the ground slowly, groaning with each strenuous movement. "I've got to stop falling." He gently set a hand on Sleuther's neck, the dragon turning to him and closing his eyes, nuzzling the knight's chest.
"Castle," Elsa said. "Now."
Half an hour later, the sun had begun to peak over the horizon, though most people had already been awoken.
Elsa sat on her throne, now considerably more presentable and befitting of a royal. Indi, standing to her right, glanced over, taking note of the small amount of makeup that had been applied to her face.
He, too, had changed into clean clothes, though his battered body ached from the several falls he had suffered. Sleuther lay behind Elsa's throne, his head to her left, while his tail curled around to be behind Indi. The dragon watched the men who stood before Elsa intently.
Indi had filled Brynn in on the recent occurrences, and she stood guard from near the wall, glaring dark daggers at the men before Elsa.
The room had been filled with Elsa's court, with Anna, the royal family from Corona, and several nobles also joining to observe the proceedings.
"Explain yourselves," Elsa said. "Why did you attack Sir Indi?"
"We saw him outside of your chambers, Your Majesty, bloody," Larsen said. "We feared for your safety." The crowd murmured, and Elsa looked to the knight for an explanation, her gaze softening.
"I was out hunting," Indi said. "I didn't eat dinner last night."
Elsa frowned and looked back to the men before her, pointing at Indi. "This young man has done nothing to me, and is one of my most trusted associates, right alongside my own sister. Have you ever known him to try to harm me?"
"Well, no," Larsen began. "But the rumors-"
Elsa cut him off, narrowing her eyes. "What rumors?" Larsen looked at the men who stood beside him. "Look at me, Mister Larsen."
Another one of the men spoke. "We heard some rumors that Sir Indi Rex mad tarnished your honor, in an intimate way that is not proper to speak of here."
"And where did you hear these rumors?" The man who confessed looked to Larsen, who hung his head in shame. "And where did you hear them, Mister Larsen?" Elsa said slowly. Standing so close to the queen, Indi felt the temperature drop.
"I... I thought they might be true," Larsen said. "We had seen Sir Indi going into your chambers, how close you two have gotten. He had gotten the position of a knighthood without being of birth or going through training. There had to be some reason why."
"And you think that means my honor is tarnished in that way?" Elsa said, scowling. The man hung his head in shame. "Know this. I am still a maiden and will remain so until my wedding night, whenever that may be. The rumors you concocted are insulting and degrading.
"Now, how did you figure out how to control dragons?"
The man sheepishly reached into his pocket and produced several pieces of parchment paper. Indi stepped forward and took them, before handing them to Elsa.
Elsa unfolded them and glanced them over. "My notes on dragons. These were given to me as a gift by the son of the chief of Berk." The crowd looked at the man disapprovingly. Taking something that belonged to the queen, let alone a gift from the ruler of another group of people, was highly inappropriate. "Not only did you steal these from my personal study, but you used this knowledge to organize an attack against one of my own."
Elsa looked at the men who stood before her. "Captain Jones?"
The man stepped forward standing straight. "Yes, my queen?"
"These men are hereby relieved of duty. They are to return home, dishonorably discharged."
"Yes, my queen," Jones said. "Follow me, you maggots." He led the men out of the throne room, Brynn following them out, passing a knowing glance at Indi.
As the tension in the room began to fade, Elsa looked at Indi. "Would you like to join me for breakfast?"
Indi smiled. "I could eat."
