Rabastan had a hard night. He couldn't rest, feeling weird pains he couldn't understand. After another grunt, he got up and went to his adopted father, who had taken him in.

Tom was reading with Lucius when he heard a knock on the door. Looking worried, Lucius got up and opened it. "Baby, what's wrong?" he asked, grabbing him before he fell over.

Tom stood up. "Rabastan, are you okay?" he said, getting up and going to him.

Rabastan muttered, "No, my stomach hurts really bad. I feel sick."

Lucius ushered him in. "Wanna lay with us for a bit, honey? You can get comfy on our bed."

Rabastan nodded, getting into bed in the middle with his parents on each side. He huffed before snuggling into his father's side, holding his papa's hand for comfort.

Lucius frowned, looking at Tom. "We should call a healer to check him over. I'm worried."

Rabastan opened his eyes before gasping and holding his stomach. "It hurts," he muttered. "Just like last time."

Lucius grabbed his hand. "It's okay, baby," he said, rubbing Rabastan's stomach to help ease the pain. He frowned at the hard feeling before blinking in shock.

"Tom, this feels like contractions. Is he pregnant?" Lucius asked, looking at Rabastan.

Rabastan jerked awake fully. "I can't be. I didn't have intercourse with anyone."

Tom said, "Baby, it's okay. Breathe. We are here for you."

Lucius held his hand. "Breathe, baby."

Rabastan blinked. "Holy crap, maybe I did." He started tearing up at the memories. "Papa, the night you guys saved me when my older brother was killed, the guy… he did things. I forgot all about it. All I could think about was my brother."

Lucius frowned. "Oh, baby," he whispered.

Tom growled. "I'm really glad that guy is dead, after what he did."

Rabastan cried, "It hurts. Help, this really hurts."

Lucius lifted him in his arms, rubbing his back. "Breathe, baby. I'm here."

Tom said, "I'm gonna call Narcissa to come. She is the healer that helped him when he first came to us."

Rabastan blinked. "I feel wet," he frowned.

Lucius felt the bed getting wet before jumping into action. Getting up with Tom, he helped Rabastan up, spelling away the bedding, cleaning up, and changing the bedding. He added a waterproof cloth so Rabastan could lay back down after cleaning him and putting him in an oversized shirt for comfort.

Rabastan muttered a thanks before crying out, grabbing for a hand. "It hurts," he cried. "Make it stop, please."

Narcissa walked in, scanning him. "Six centimeters dilated, halfway there. Water broke, so now it's a waiting game. Call if something happens more. I don't want to stress him."

Tom nodded, holding Rabastan close with each contraction.

Rabastan fell asleep or just closed his eyes before snapping them open, screaming as he felt pressure down there. "So much," he muttered.

He twisted In bed in agony. "It hurts! Make it stop!"

Tom held him. "Breathe, baby. You are doing great, love."

Lucius called for Narcissa. "It's time," he said.

Narcissa said, "Time to push," taking her spot.

Rabastan pushed, screaming. "It burns, oh god!" he cried. "Make it stop, please."

Tom held his hand. "Breathe, honey, you got this, I promise. It will be okay."

Lucius rubbed his back to ease him.

Rabastan pushed again, crying. "Agh!" he cried. "No more."

Tom kissed his head. "So strong. I love you."

Rabastan felt another push and screamed. As a baby's cry was heard, they all stopped for a moment.

Tom helped Rabastan lay back down to be cleaned up.

Lucius got the baby handed to him, holding his grandchild. "Hi, sweetheart," he whispered.

Looking at Rabastan, he asked, "Wanna hold him? You did so good."

Rabastan took his baby after being cleaned up. "Hi, baby James."
