"I know this is on such short notice, but can you two watch them?"

Jinmay looked at the ten kids. Emerald and Peridot hid behind Chiro's legs, while Marino and Soma made sure the others didn't run off or do something they shouldn't. Neither Jinmay or Slingshot had spent a lot of time with the kids by themselves, but they knew enough about the kids and the kids were familiar enough with them. Em and PG were still shy around them though. Astral, however, stood beside Jinmay and tugged at her dress.

There was an attack on the city and Chiro had to go out for battle. None of the kids could stay in the Super Robot during the whole thing, so he came to them.

Jinmay picked Astral up. "Of course, Chiro! We'll keep an eye on them until you get back!"

"It shouldn't be too hard to take care of them." Slingshot added.

"You'd be surprised," Chiro chuckled.

"Chiro! We need you now!" came through his communicator.

He put his hand on it. "Don't worry, I'm coming back now!"

He ran out the door back to the Super Robot. His clothes transformed into his Hyperforce uniform as he went out.

The two looked at the five year old decuplets in front of them. As Slingshot said, it shouldn't be too hard to take care of them, especially for a couple hours. Not to mention, Marino and Soma were the most well behaved ones out of the bunch and were willing to help keep everything under control if it was needed. All Jinmay and Slingshot needed to do was get everything out for the kids and they'd be fine.

Thankfully, Chiro didn't need to bring much for them. They bought stuff for them in case of times like this and if the team forgot to bring something over. Slingshot grabbed out art supplies for them while Jinmay got the toys out. She turned on the holo-TV as well and put on a show she knew they liked. They kept them all in one room so they all had an eye on each of them.

Marino simply meditated nearby Jinmay and Slingshot, which still befuddled Jinmay at how someone so young could be into meditating as much as he was. Soma and Peridot were on the ground as they drew pictures together. Emerald played with toys with Magma and Dactyle, who were surprisingly getting along. Diamond and Aero were the only ones who were watching the show Jinmay put on. Jasper tiptoed behind Magma with an unsharpened colored pencil in her hand. The flat end faced Magma, holding it like she was gonna stab him. Whatever she had planned, Marino tugged her away with telekinesis. She pouted in response.

Astral stayed in Jinmay's arms, relaxing where he rested. His tail wrapped around Slingshot's arm. They knew that whenever Astral liked someone, he'd keep them close to him. The first time Astral met them, he didn't want them to leave. It nearly made Jinmay cry from how much he reached for them both. Slingshot ran the side of his index finger across Astral's head. It made the little monkey smile. He repeated the process a few times.

Everything was calm until Magma started shrieking. Jinmay and Slingshot turned their heads immediately. Magma's body burned bright red as he stomped with one foot. Emerald sat there, frozen in place. Dactyle raised his hands up.

"Syngnómi! Syngnómi!" He cried.

Magma stomped his foot harder.

"Engwish! I don't know what you're saying!"

Slingshot got up from the couch and rushed to Magma. He grabbed him and held him up.

"Easy, Magma Cloud." Slingshot started. "There's no need to get so angry. Hermodactyloides is simply apologizing."

"He coulda said it where I can understand it, Unca Swingshot!" Magma squirmed.

He managed to escape Slingshot's grasp and he ran off into the kitchen. Slingshot chased after him. Emerald finally broke out of feeling frozen and ran up to Jinmay's side. Jinmay held Emerald close.

"It's okay, Emerald, everything will be alright." Jinmay reassured her.

Magma reached for the fridge door handle. He got on his toes and he still couldn't reach it. It frustrated him even more and he stomped his feet as he screeched. Slingshot walked closer to the child. His eyes shot upwards to see a knife set coming forward with every stomp. He then quickly grabbed Magma to get him out of the way. One of the knives fell down while Slingshot went to get him out of the way and it stabbed one of his robotic limbs.

He simply held Magma in one of his arms and took the knife out of his body with his other hand without much problem. Slingshot sighed in relief that it didn't hit Magma as he put it back in the knife block. He moved it somewhere else where they wouldn't be able to reach it nor have something like this happen again. He looked at Magma.

"You can't do that, Magma Cloud. You could've gotten seriously hurt there." Slingshot scolded.

Magma simply groaned and puffed as he crossed his arms.

"Let's get you out of here. You should be with the others."

Slingshot walked towards a different room. Magma reached out to the fridge, having half his body over Slingshot's shoulder.

"Water! Water!"

Slingshot stopped and looked at him. "Is that what you came in here for?"

Magma nodded.

"Ask next time, Jinmay and I can get it for you."

He groaned at the suggestion of asking anyone. Slingshot got him a cup of water.

"Jasper, no!" Jinmay nearly yelled from the living room.

He quickly ran back to the room.

Jasper kept rubbing a toy spider on Diamond's back. Diamond was growing more and more annoyed by the second. The orange monkey then put a colored pencil onto her neck.

"Jasper, I said no!" Jinmay continued. "Stop messing with your siblings!"

Jasper stuck her tongue out at Jinmay before Diamond grabbed her tongue. She pulled Jasper to the front, nearly making her fall over. Jasper screeched as Diamond glared at her.

"Stop touching me." She growled.

"Diamond Galaxy, release her tongue!" Slingshot ordered.

She let go and Jasper whined, having her hands on her mouth. Slingshot put Magma down in a corner. He looked at Jasper and Diamond with his arms crossed.

"Diamond Galaxy, Jasper Skye, you're both restricted to a corner for five minutes."

Diamond simply sighed before going into a corner. Jasper shook her head.

"No!" She disobeyed.

Jinmay got off the couch and bent down. "You can't be doing that, Jasper. Being playful, okay, but you can't be invading others' personal spaces like that."

"I wath playing!"

"But we don't put pencils up to someone's neck and 'fake stab' them, Jasper."

She simply pouted as she crossed her arms. Jinmay sighed in response.

"Please go in the corner for a few minutes and think about what you've done." Jinmay requested.

Jasper huffed before she plopped down on her ass.

"Jasper." Jinmay squinted her eyes.

"Ūn!" She swung her head to the side.

Slingshot walked over and picked her up. Jasper screeched at the action. No matter what she did, she couldn't slip free.

"Sorry, Jasper Skye," Slingshot started, "but you kept continuing with your behavior even after you were told to stop, so it's corner time."

He put her in the third corner of the room. She tried to escape but Slingshot made sure she stayed there. When she didn't move, he waited a moment before stepping away. He reached the couch and looked back. Jasper peeked at Slingshot. He gestured how he was keeping his eye on her before he faced the screen.

Slingshot looked at the other monkey kids. They behaved as well as he hoped they were. He quietly sighed in relief. Jinmay sat next to Slingshot, slouching. Emerald went back to Dactyle and played with him. Jinmay looked at Slingshot.

"I didn't think three of them could be so troublesome," she started.

He nodded. "Me neither. After all, they're only children, who could've thought this would be the case?"

"Anyone who's taken care of them before I guess." Jinmay responded.

They looked at each other before they started laughing. Both supposed they knew what Chiro meant now that the ten were in their care. They hoped that the other seven wouldn't give them too much of a problem.

Suddenly, Soma tugged on Jinmay's dress. It made her jump from the touch. She immediately looked down at Soma. Jinmay lifted him up with her free hand.

"Hey, Soma, what's up?"

"May we have snacks, Aunt Jinmay?" He asked.

She smiled. "Yeah, of course!"

"May we have snacks as well?" Diamond turned her head from the corner.

"Not until you stop pulling on Jasper's tongue," Jinmay deadpanned.

Diamond simply shrugged and faced the corner again.

"I figured the probability of you accepting my request was low, but it was worth a try anyways." She said.

Jinmay put Astral on the couch next to Soma. It was only now that she realized he was fast asleep. She smiled, glad knowing one of the kids was asleep. She went to grab snacks for them and brought back a few chip bags. She handed one to Soma, Aero, Emerald, Peridot, Marino, and Hermo. Five of them opened their bags right away while Marino simply stared at his chips before shrugging and opening it. Soma got off the couch and sat back down next to Peridot. He leaned onto her shoulder as he ate.

Jinmay sat down next to Slingshot. Maybe the time would fly and there wouldn't be too much more trouble. She loved them all, but a few of them were certainly a handful. She was able to lay back and relax.

That was until something hit her in the back of the head. She fell forward, but luckily she was able to catch herself. She looked beyond the couch to see Jasper snickering to herself with a slingshot. The couch was stained with paint and pieces of a balloon were everywhere. Astral somehow slept through it. Emerald, however, was scared and she held onto Soma. Dactyle simply pointed and laughed.

Jinmay glared at Jasper. Jasper stopped snickering and dropped the slingshot in her hands. She got on all fours and started running. Jinmay didn't waste any time chasing after her.

"Get back here!" She called out to Jasper.

"Oh no," Slingshot quietly said.

Jasper poured cooking oil all over the kitchen floor. When she saw Jinmay run in, she closed the oil before she ran off. Jinmay nearly slipped in the oil but caught herself just in time. She hovered over it. She got to the other side of the kitchen and looked from the doorway. Left and right, she didn't see her right away. Jinmay looked up and Jasper hung to the wall. It took Jasper a moment before realizing that Jinmay saw her.

She dropped the plastic bucket full of glitter and jumped off. Jinmay moved back to avoid any glitter getting on her. She groaned as she continued the chase. Thankfully, it didn't take her too long to catch up to Jasper. The little orange monkey snickered to herself as she prepared the next 'prank'. Good, she didn't see that Jinmay was there yet.

Jinmay tip-toed behind Jasper. She moved as quietly as possible. By the time Jasper realized she was there, she couldn't run. Jinmay grabbed her and she screeched. She held the child up to eye level. Jasper tried with all her might to escape with no success. Jinmay smirked and chuckled in victory.

"Gotcha now, little lady!" Jasper pouted. "Don't give me that look, Jasper. You could've hurt someone, especially with the oil on the floor."

"It wathn't meant to hurt anyone. I knew you would be fine!" Jasper defended.

"Yeah I'm fine," Jinmay went back to the living room, "but if your siblings were caught up in that, they could've gotten really hurt."

"But they-"

"They could've gotten really hurt." Jinmay repeated.

She whined. Jinmay put her back in the corner that Slingshot put her in. She crossed her arms while Jasper looked at her with a frown.

"Just because of that stunt you pulled, you're staying in the corner for twenty extra minutes."

Jasper whined before she plopped onto her ass with crossed arms. Her tail laid flat on the floor except the tip which occasionally tapped the floor. She plopped herself next to Slingshot.

"Anything happen while I was gone?" She asked.

"Thankfully not." Slingshot responded. "Marino Obsidian's been pretty helpful, actually."

"Just Marino would be fine," Marino added.

Jinmay sighed in relief. "Good."

They then suddenly heard a knock on the door. Both looked at all the kids to make sure they were all they were supposed to be. Thankfully they were, so it wasn't any of them messing with them. Jinmay and Slingshot got up and went to the door. Slingshot opened the door with Chiro standing there. The monkeys were behind him.

"Hey, Slingshot, Jinmay." Chiro kissed them both. "They haven't been in too much trouble, have they?"

"Most of them haven't, though a few of them got up to mischief." Jinmay answered.

Chiro looked at the others before looking back at Jinmay.

"Jasper?"

"Yep. Magma threw a fit and Diamond grabbed Jasper's tongue, but they've been good aside from that." She smiled.

"I'm glad they didn't give you too much trouble."

The cyborg monkeys went inside to get the kids. Chiro was about to join them, but Slingshot grabbed a hold of his arm. Chiro turned back to face the two.

Slingshot was the first to speak. "Hey, uh, not that we don't love the kids, but…"

"If you guys were to have more, I don't want any of them to be my kids in the way of those kids being theirs, no offense. I think we're both good on these ten."

"I'm with Jinmay here." Slingshot pointed at her with his thumb. "Not that I know how it would work with either of us involved in the process, but we're good."

Chiro could only chuckle. "Yeah, taking care of them isn't an easy feat. Thanks for watching them."

"Of course, Chiro."

They gave him kisses. Before they knew it, they all had the kids in their arms. From now on, they were sticking to visiting rather than taking care of Jasper.

That was enough for them.
