Marino took a deep breath, taking in the cool breeze that blew over the mountains.
It was a simple thing, but he loved it. Combined with a beautiful view, like an ocean in front of him, it was perfect. New sights to see and appreciate was the reason why he loved exploring new worlds with his parents. It was soothing to see them, and he was sure that some of them would agree. Their parents' only condition was that the kids didn't stray too far from the Super Robot. Everyone did just that, so he didn't feel the need to keep an eye on them. If there was any trouble, Soma would let him know.
For now, however, he wanted to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean with the two suns getting ready to set. Marino's smile grew wider as the cool breeze grazed his body once more and the water crashed into the grass. His tail and clothing blew with the wind. It felt good to feel the wind hit his fur and go under his sleeve. Marino happily sighed at everything as his face turned a darker color from the temperature rising up to keep him warm.
This was the perfect example of the Hawaiian word "keanu" in his eyes. The perfect temperature for the breeze, how it went through the mountains he stood upon, it was the best he'd experienced in a while. The view in front of him just added to it.
"Hey, Marino."
Marino looked behind him to see Chiro approaching. He had a smile on his face.
"Hello, Uncle Chiro. How is everything coming along?" He asked.
"Good, we got everything we need and we're about ready to go." Chiro answered. "You coming?"
"Yeah, I will be there in a moment." Marino responded before looking back.
Chiro stood beside him. Marino and Chiro watched as the suns set into the watery horizon in front of them; the sky went from warm colors into dark desaturated blues. Chiro put an arm around him and held Marino close. Once the suns disappeared, it was only the stars and the moon left in the sky. Chiro looked at him, having the unspoken question written on his face.
Marino nodded. "I'm ready to go now."
Chiro removed his hand from Marino. The two walked back to the Super Robot. Marino walked ahead of his human father with a smile on his face. Even if his mind was on other things, he kept aware of his surroundings.
Marino couldn't wait to show his siblings the sunset he watched.
