Authors Note: Happy Season 2 of the anime!

So...Just going to say that, this story was started over a year ago, and the manga(Especially recently) has done some things that contradicts my story. I'm not going to change course, I'm going to keep my story as originally planned, but if you start to see major differences with a certain or two, and how they act, that is why.

Anyway, enjoy!

The fan overhead blew lightly, swirling the air around the room while it washed over the three people inside. All of them were mostly relaxed despite everything that happened, silence befalling the three of them, minutes passing.

Finally, blowing his cigarette smoke out of his mouth, Taishi looked at the twins in front of him with a somewhat serious look. "It's been a week, and still nothing huh?"

"Yeah…" Aqua replied in a more casual tone than most were used to, one leg crossed over the other, his eyes glowing with two white stars. "Miyako testified to the detective, I gave the name of Hikaru, his public records are easy to find…But, nothing. No major news network has covered it, and even the smaller ones have simply said the suspect is at large without mentioning the name."

"He's just an actor though, right? The police shouldn't be worried about public backlash for going after him." Ruby, who was sitting next to Aqua, both of her legs pulled up with her somewhat bumpier stomach pushing against her shirt. "I mean, I know money gets you far, but…"

"It's not quite that simple." Taishi spoke once more, blowing more smoke out of his mouth, his eyes leering over to his PC Monitor. "Money and power control our institutions, but so do connections. If you're right about this guy being the one who set up Ryosuke to kill Ai, then I'm sure that was well known to the police, it wouldn't be hard to go through text messages and emails to establish a motive even with the suicide."

"But as soon as Ryosuke was found dead, they dropped the case without investigating further." Aqua replied, crossing his arms, a thoughtful expression tugging at his features. "I didn't think much on it at the time, my mental state was far from stable enough to do so, but thinking back on it…That would have been the biggest news story and criminal case in a long time, it involved the most popular Idol in the entire country, financially atleast it would have benefited the media and police to atleast have a skeleton crew investigate Ryosuke's motives and connections but…Nothing. His body was found, and that was that, the case closed and nothing more."

"No doubt, even back then when he was only eighteen years old, he had connections. Considering that was over a decade ago at this point, it's not shocking he had enough clout that he could get away with an attempted murder. So what if you stopped it and Miyako could testify? If the police are in his pocket, or atleast the power brokers over the police, then the most that will happen is a civil trial in her favor and nothing more." Taishi ran his fingers over his chin, fingers brushing against his shaved bristles, a small sigh escaping his nose soon after. "If he has that much clout with the police and media, then no doubt both of your careers are in trouble, he isn't going to allow two people who know about his crimes, let alone sharing his DNA, be in the public spotlight to expose him."

"That's fine, I'm done with acting anyway." Aqua responded confidently, earning a surprised look from Taishi. "The only reason I got into the business was to find my father, and now that I've done that…"

Aqua closed his eyes for a moment, one of his hands closing and gripping itself hard, dark thoughts attempting to cloud his mind-

Before he felt a pair of soft hands wrap around his.

Opening his eyes, he looked over and saw Ruby had reached out and grabbed his hand, before gently smiling at him. Feeling his heart calm down, he smiled back as gently as he could, before looking back at Taishi with a serious expression. "Now that I found him, staying on as an actor doesn't offer any benefits. Not only will he use all of the connections he has to keep from getting any big roles, hell maybe any role at all, but I'm sure he has eyes and ears everywhere…For all I know, he has people watching Tokyo Blade and reporting to him."

"Still, to give up your dream just like that kid…" Taishi's voice trailed off, yet Aqua merely shook his head back and forth.

"My dream was to never be an actor, it was just a convenient excuse is all. My passion lies in medicine, and helping others." Aqua turned once more towards Ruby, smiling at her, causing her cheeks to flush in return.

"M-Medicine? T-That's quite the career choice…Still, I guess you did somehow save Miyako…" Taishi let a louder sigh escape his lips, grabbing the cigarette in his mouth and squashing it in a nearby ash tray. "Well, whatever you do, be on your guard. No doubt, one of you two could be next."

"It's possible, but I'm not worried about anything he throws at me." Aqua closed his eyes once more, relaxing in his chair, leaning his head back. "I'll have my revenge for Ai…But I'm no need to rush it like I was before…I actually have something to live for now."

Aqua opened his eyes, revealing one shining white with light and one with darkness, a chuckle escaping his lips. Blinking a few times reverted both of his eyes to being filled with light, though his intents were still clear.

"Now that I'm done with acting, I plan to apply and switch over to Medical School as soon as I can. It won't be too hard, and I can still continue the chase after Hikaru. Hell, becoming a doctor could let me help some powerful people…People that could have indirect connections to Hikaru." Aqua looked down towards the ground, before flickering his eyes back up and looking over towards Ruby. "Something's been bothering me though."

"Hm?" Ruby tilted her head to the side, confused.

"Do you remember our date? When we went into the town as…Ourselves…?" Aqua's implication was clear to Ruby, and though her cheeks flushed red once more, she nodded. "We ran into both Hikaru and Miyako later that night, at the end…Do you remember what he said?"

"What he said…?" Ruby placed a finger towards her lips, tilting her head back and forth in thought before her eyes flung open. "Wait…Didn't he call you…?"

"Yeah, he called me Doc." Aqua said with almost confusion, his mouth slightly agaped, tongue licking across his teeth. "How did he know?"

"Mm…H-He knew you…Back then?" Ruby skirted around the reincarnation issue with Taishi nearby, who was looking at the two siblings confused.

"Even if he did, which I don't remember the name at all, wouldn't he have said something about someone close to their fifties dating a teenager? The teenaged daughter of the woman he was attempting to woo, or was putting the appearance up of doing so anyway? Furthermore, how did he know about Miyako? Legally we're her kids, and after he killed Ai, why go through the trouble of attempting to kill Miyako? Hell not only that, how did he know I wanted revenge and tempted me out to the Theater to meet him?" Aqua listed off every strange occurrence with Hikaru, confusing Ruby more and more, looking down towards the ground in total confusion.

"I-I don't know…U-Unless he was also…"

"Reincarnated? Even if he was, he shouldn't know any of that about me." Aqua casually said the quiet part out loud, completely losing Taishi, who placed his hand and rubbed it over his temple.

"Whoa kid…What's this about being Reincarnated? You were…Kind of making sense, him knowing shit he shouldn't but…Then you just say something wild like that, and you lost me." Aqua and Ruby looked each other in the eye, before slowly nodding, turning towards Taishi.

"What I'm about to tell you, you can choose to believe it or not believe it, it's up to you." Aqua said calmly, his hand reaching over and interlocking with Ruby's, who squeezed his hand back. "Ruby and I…Were born sixteen years ago. Also, sixteen years ago, Gorou Amamiya was murdered…Twenty years ago, Sarina Tendouji passed away from cancer. These two, were doctor and patient, and also star crossed lovers in a sense."

Ruby's face only deepened its shade of red, looking over and smiling at Aqua.

"When Sarina died, Gorou thought he had lost her forever. He thought she had died and gone to Heaven, and when he was laying in that forest…He thought he was, at best, going to Hell. Instead, he woke up in the arms of an idol…Reborn, with his twin sister, being the reincarnation of his patient, Sarina Tendouji." Aqua spoke calmly, telling the story as focused as could be, letting Taishi digest it.

"Uh…What, are you saying you two are the reincarnations of a doctor and patient?" Taishi chuckled, thinking Aqua was pulling his leg or he was mis-interpreting…But looking over both of the twins' faces, how serious they were…"Wait…You seriously believe that? Look if you're religious then fine, but don't even those religious texts say you won't remember your past life or whatever?"

"...I'm not sure if I believe in any religion, or if this is just some sort of magic, or what. What I do know is as an infant, I had the memories of Gorou Amamiya, and Ruby had the memories of Sarina Tendouji. Infantile Amnesia is a guarantee in the human body, to the point you only remember less than one percent of any memories formed as an infant. Even the memories you do retain are not tangible memories, at most you remember how to talk, walk, work your joints, basics like that. Because of the memories I remembered, it put a strain on my brain, so many of the memories I retained from my life as Gorou were still lost as I got older. However, I still consider myself Gorou Amamiya, and ever since Sarina and I learned who each other is, and started to form our relationship, for some reason I've been getting back more memories of my life as Gorou."

Taishi listened to Aqua explain with a perplexed look, before a heavy sigh escaped his lips, head shaking back and forth. "Look, kid, you can believe whatever you want but-"

"One of the memories I did not initially retain, but instead returned to me after Sarina and I got together, was a memory that, at this point, occurred about nineteen years ago. About a year after Sarina passed away, I tended to a car accident. The car was in my town, and even though I was not a surgeon by any means, I still assisted with the procedure while they flew a specialist in." Taishi stopped shaking his head, looking over at Aqua with a somewhat serious expression. "It was a red jeep, I can't remember the exact brand but…A drunk ran a light, and crashed into…Hitting the woman and man inside. Both were heavily injured, the man was temporarily blinded, and the woman was knocked unconscious. I tended to the man, while the nurses tended to the woman. And…I remember he gripped my hand, even as he was hurting all over, he pulled me in close and asked one simple question…"

Aqua and Taishi's mouth both opened at the same time, both saying the exact same thing. "How's Ma? Is she okay?"

Ruby went wide eyed by what she just heard, surprise coloring her face. Yet, that was nothing compared to Taishi, who looked at Aqua with wide eyes, mouth agaped.

"Y-You…But that was…" Taishi could barely push the words out, his hand covering his mouth for a moment before lowering, pointing towards Aqua. "...Doc…?"

Aqua couldn't help but chuckle, before a small smile came over his face, nodding. "I replied back…That Old Woman has so much fight in her, she would probably have a good laugh at her son crying over her. Now hold still and let me put these eye drops in."

"I…" Taishi was at a complete loss for words, falling backwards in his own chair. Confusion and surprise were the only expressions on his face, his hands shaking before he quickly reached back into his pocket and grabbed a cigarette, quickly lighting it and placing it into his mouth. Taking a few puffs to calm himself, he propped his head up on a single hand and shook his head. "I-I don't know what to say…"

Taishi took a long puff of his cigarette, blowing the smoke out in front of him before looking over both Aqua and Ruby.

"So…You're a reincarnation of a doctor…And you were his patient?" Taishi moved the finger between Aqua and Ruby, both of them nodding. "Geez, you two never cease to surprise me but…I…I don't know what to say."

"Heh, well, for now you can just understand this is what Ruby meant. There is the possibility Hikaru is reincarnated also, which could explain how he was able to correlate power at such an early age, using what he knew. However, that does not explain how he knew I was Gorou, how he knew about Miyako, or how he knew I intended to get revenge on him. Somehow, perhaps through the same magic that is suddenly letting me remember my memories from my past life, he knows stuff he shouldn't."

"Geez…When did I stop living in Tokyo, and start living in the Twilight Zone?" Taishi remarked with a dry laugh, still smoking hard on his cigarette before waving his hand. "But alright, pushing aside the reincarnation um…That means he knows stuff basically, and it's either through…Magic, apparently…Or, maybe someone else who somehow knows this, is telling him."

"Someone else huh? I wonder…" Aqua pondered, the air in the room growing thicker by the second, more questions being raised even as revelations took hold.

"Hmm well, sitting here just thinking about it isn't going to get us anywhere Sensei!" Ruby sudden;y shouted out, drawing both Aqua and Taishi's attention towards her. "Whatever Hikaru is planning, we're not going to figure it out just sitting here, right? So why don't we go get something to eat, refresh our minds?"

"Huh? Something to eat? What a creative way to ask me on a date." Aqua teased her, drawing a blushing Ruby to quickly reply.

"W-What! I-I mean sure it can be a date but um…T-The Director can come to if he wants…" Ruby looked over towards Taishi, who weakly laughed and shook his head.

"I'm good, never really been into that third wheel crap, especially Star Crossed Lovers such as you two, as the Kid put it." His remark did not help Ruby's blush in the slightest. "I think I'll call around, see if I can get any info on Hikaru myself."

"You sure? The wrong person hears you doing that, and your career as a Director is likely over, just like my Acting Career." Aqua's gaze locked onto Taishi's, and after a moment of staring, he simply replied with a shrug.

"I get kicked out of the big leagues? So be it…I prefer low budget indie films anyway." Aqua could only smirk at Taishi's remark, slowly pushing himself up alongside Ruby. "Now go enjoy Lunch together you two, deserve to take a break after everything that's happened."

"Right…Well, shall we, Sarina?"

"Hehe, we shall, Sensei." Aqua and Ruby interlocked their fingers, giving one last wave to the Director before leaving his room and heading into the kitchen. They would have to unlock hands as soon as they left the Apartment, but just getting to do so for a few minutes meant the world to both of them.

Once the two of them had left, a heavy sigh escaped Taishi's lips, his body slumping in his chair, cigarette threatening to fall out of his mouth with a light chuckle escaping his lips. "You helped save me and Ma back then doc…Now…It's my turn to help you."

"Leblanc? I've never been before." Ruby commented casually, pushing open the door to the small coffee shop with Aqua following close behind. He had actually been the one to suggest the place, though it was admittedly just a place Mem-Cho had mentioned to him once.

Once the two of them walked inside, an older man with a cigarette in his mouth and reading a newspaper, looked up from whatever section he was reading and nodded. "Ah, welcome. Feel free to take a seat anywhere."

"Thank you!" Ruby clasped her hands together, walking over towards a booth near the back. The sound of the news playing echoed through the small shop, mixing with the dishes being washed by a black haired teen in the kitchen. "Mm this place is actually pretty cozy, Sensei."

Ruby scooted onto one side of the booth, Aqua taking the other side, the two of them attempting to relax after the conversation they just had with Taishi. "Yeah, Mem mentioned she used to come to place alot, and still does whenever she has the free time."

"I can see why!" Ruby smiled brightly, looking over as the older man came and took their orders. Though Ruby ordered a coffee filled with all kinds of cream and sugar, Aqua ordered his pure black. "Ehh? Pure black?"

"Coffee already isn't the healthiest thing in the world for you, putting a ton of cream and sugar in it doesn't really change that." Aqua explained, before raising a finger and pointing it at Ruby. "If you want to maintain a good figure for being an Idol, you need to watch out for what you eat and drink."

"I-I'll have you know, that I work out with Pieyon all the time!" Ruby pouted, puffing her cheeks out and crossing her arms. However, that only lasted for a second, before a more solemn look took over her face. "Although…I guess I won't be an idol for much longer, huh?"

"...You think Hikaru is going to come after you in the idol scene too?"

"Well…He has alot of connections, right? If he has control over the police and media, then I'm sure he has people in the idol business too, right?" Aqua slowly nodded, smiling at the older man when he brought their coffee over, before his more serious expression took over.

"Let me ask you this Sarina…you want to be an Idol?"

"Huh? O-Of course I do Sensei! You should know that, it's all I ever talked about in the hospital." Ruby pouted somewhat from the question, raising her cup and softly drinking from it.

"Then…Why do you need to stop being an idol?" Ruby lowered her cup, raising an eyebrow towards her brother boyfriend. "I mean, I never wanted to be an actor so I'm not willing to fight for my career, I can easily transition over to medicine now that I know who Hikaru is. But you always wanted to be an idol, right? So keep fighting, who cares if he starts pulling strings? He can only push you so far down before your overwhelming talent will catapult you back up."

"Really…?" Ruby looked down at her cup, uncertainty clouding her features. "...What if he tries to do what he did to ma-"

"I won't let him." Aqua shut down that line of thought before she could fully form her sentence. "Hitman, himself, the police, military, Phantom Thieves, whoever he sends after you…I'll stop them, you have my word."

"Sensei…" Ruby smiled brightly towards Aqua, looking down at her cup once more and nodding. "I believe you, just…Don't put yourself in danger, alright?"

"...Well, I won't make promises I can't keep." Ruby scowled at Aqua, and though he attempted to move onto the next subject-

"If you can't promise me, then promise…Her…" Ruby placed her hand over her stomach, causing Aqua to tense up, his hand latching harder onto his cup.

"...That's not fair you know." Aqua said with annoyance, before setting his cup onto the table and sighing. "I'll do the best I can."

"Thank you Sensei." Ruby smiled reassuringly at him before leaning back in the booth, looking over the quiet little coffee shop they had found, lightly kicking her feet back and forth underneath the booth. "Do you think after Mama is born we'll still be calling her mama, or will she start calling me Mama?"

"Well, assuming the baby is Ai, then it comes to her own memory retention. It's possible she remembers very little to nothing of her past life…But, if she does remember then…Maybe a discussion to have with her." Aqua admittedly still had his doubts whether or not Ruby was truly pregnant with Ai but…Well, fate had been a little funny lately. "If you want to make it a little less awkward, you can just call each other Mama."

"Ehh? What will people say when they hear my own daughter calling me Mama?"

"I don't know, the same thing when they found out your brother is the father?" Aqua darkly chuckled, not speaking loud enough for anyone else in the cafe to hear, though a nearby cat was looking at them with what could only be explained with a confused and shocked expression.

If cat's could emote, that is.

"In any case, it will be a topic to have with her and we'll cross that bridge when we have to. For now we have bigger bridges to cross." Aqua folded his hands, looking towards the side and slowly nodding. "Like…Telling Miyako, Kana and Mem that you're pregnant."

"Ah right…I guess I haven't told them…" Ruby pressed her finger against her lips to think, tilting her head towards the ceiling. "I-I can't tell them you're the dad but…T-They're going to ask when 'Gouro' and I done it so…"

"Well, looking at when tests begin to show positivity then the likely answer is our first time, which they knew you were alone at the time. It would be much harder to explain if it happened during one of the nights you snuck into my room and humped me awake." Ruby's face turned a crimson red, causing her to smack the table.

"S-Sensei!"

"What? Don't get mad at me, you're the one who does it." Aqua couldn't help but laugh at Ruby's flustered expression, getting a kick out of teasing her.

"S-Still, it's embarrassing…" Ruby pouted, slumping back into the booth. "But…Alright, I guess that works. Although a little deja vu for Miyako huh?"

"Yeah, no kidding. I remember Ai's entire pregnancy, and that was certainly a time. In all honesty, it will only be a few weeks before you're going have to take a break from being an Idol and send out some excuse like you're sick or something."

"Huh? How come?"

"Can't exactly be up on stage and dancing when your stomach is wider than a Semi Truck, not to mention that would be incredibly dangerous for the infant inside." Though Aqua had humor mixed in, his tone was serious. "The later the pregnancy goes on, the more you have to be careful. Not just how you move, but what you eat and drink will also have to be carefully considered."

"R-Right, I admit, I've spent the past week looking up stuff online…It's a little scary I admit, I mean I don't just have a life growing inside me but it's Mama…" Ruby rubbed a hand over her stomach, a smile growing wide at the thought. "I'll be as careful as I can, she was with me afterall."

"Right, and much like with Ai, I'll assist in any way I can."

"Hehe, that's my Sensei for you." Ruby giggled, reaching down and grabbing her coffee, finishing it completely off. "Wait…We never ordered food!"

"You immediately got serious with your conversation so I didn't remind you to order. The curry here is apparently really good, so we can try that." Aqua called over the older man again, placing two orders of Curry, not that spicy. "Shouldn't take long."

"Hmm should we get some for Miyako? I want to stop by the hospital after leaving, so we could bring it to her then. And…" Ruby grabbed her stomach once more, gulping. "I-I want to tell her, I don't want to keep hiding it from her."

"You sure?" Aqua said in a low voice, in which Ruby responded with a strong nod. "Alright then, we'll tell her the truth."

"Thanks Sensei-"

"The truth about everything." Aqua rest his arms on the table, folding his hands together and sighing deeply. "Including us."

"...Eh?" Ruby raised her hands to clap them together in thanks, yet her body froze as soon as the words left Aqua's mouth. She stared at him in confusion, before realization dawned on her, "Y-You mean…?"

"Not just about our relationship, but who we actually are. We've already told Taishi, so we might as well tell Miyako also."

"But…"

"But what? You think we should keep the lie up, even after you give birth? We can manage around hiding who the father is from Kana and Mem without issue, but Miyako is another story." Aqua explained honestly and calmly as he could, hands folding in front of him atop the table. "We've already put her through enough Hell, no reason to keep her in the dark."

"Still…I-It's scary, what if she…Stops loving us?" Ruby's voice grew low, Aqua's own eyes narrowing, watching a single tear form in Ruby's. "I-It wouldn't be the first time my mother abandoned me-"

"Miyako isn't like that, she's not like Marina." The name caused Ruby to stiffen, more tears forming in her eyes that she attempted to wipe away. "Miyako has been through everything with us, from the days when Ai was alive, to adopting us as soon as the murder happened. No matter what shit we gave her, she stuck by us through everything. I promise you, even if she disagrees to the darkest pit of Hell…She'll always love you, Ruby."

Aqua made a point of using Ruby's current name, more tears escaping that she kept wiping away, slowly nodding. "T-Thanks, Sensei…"

"Now, as for myself?" Aqua leaned back, closing his eyes. "She'll probably kill me, bury me underneath the studio and tell the others I went on a long vacation or something."

"W-What! Miyako would never!"

"I impregnated her daughter, this is my fate." Aqua remarked sarcastically, causing Ruby to pout.

"M-Miyako loves you just as much, Aqua!" It was Ruby's turn to use Aqua's current name, causing him to conceal a laugh, opening his eyes back up and locking eyes with her.

"Very weird hearing you say that, Sarina."

"Heh, I had to get to you somehow, Sensei." The two of them shared a small laugh with one another, before finishing up at the small cafe, collecting a togo box to give the food to Miyako. Once everything was settled, the two of them shared one last look and nod, before leaving the small cafe and making their way towards the Hospital.

The sound of the heart monitor filled the cold room, with Miyako Saitou laying in her bed, eyes halfway closed while she watched the TV that hung from her wall. She had been hospitalized for about a week now, and while she was recovering faster than doctors initially thought, she still had a bit of a way to go.

Still, the fact she was alive was a miracle in and of itself.

Rubbing a hand across her temple, she couldn't believe she had been so careless. She had sworn off the dating scene ever since her Divorce, dedicating herself to raising her two kids.

Only for a young hot actor to sweep her off of her feet…And then stab her in the back.

Perhaps she should have died, bled out on that floor to make up for all the sins she had committed to even get her current role of Strawberry Productions President in the first place. Afterall, it wouldn't be a stretch to call her first marriage a marriage of convenience, so perhaps…

…No, she couldn't think like that. Not after all the trouble that not only the paramedics, but even what Aqua went through to save her. The fact he was there for her, holding her, helping her, and even calling her mom…

The tear rolling down her cheek spoke volumes to what that meant to her.

Quickly wiping the tear away, Miyako reached over and grabbed the TV remote, ready to watch something different for a change- "Miss Saitou? Visitors wish to see you, Mr Aqua Hoshino and Miss Ruby Hoshino."

"H-Huh?" Miyako looked at the speaker next to her bed, surprised her kids were suddenly here to see her since they both said they would be busy today, but pleasantly so. Pressing her finger against the button, she happily told the nurse to let them in.

After a couple of minutes, the door to her hospital room opened, with Ruby running in first, Aqua following close behind. "Hey Miyako! We brought you lunch!"

"Lunch? You didn't have to do that." Miyako giggled, taking the plate Ruby was holding and looking it over. "Oh you went to that Leblanc huh? Mem-Cho took me their the other day, and it was pretty delicious."

"Yeah, Aqua and I just went and the food was really good!" Ruby smiled, albeit somewhat forcibly, before looking over towards Aqua. The two of them stared at one another for a moment, before Ruby nodded. "And um…There's something we want to tell you…"

Ruby's words trailed off, Miyako tilting her head to the side. "Ruby, do you want me to-"

"N-No I…I got this, Sensei…" Ruby spoke with as much confidence that she could muster, gently smiling at Aqua before turning her attention back towards Miyako.

"Something to tell me? And…What's with calling Aqua Sensei?" Miyako said confused, watching while Ruby made her way over, sitting on the side of Miyako's bed and taking a deep breath.

For a moment she didn't say anything, finding the right words in her head, taking deep breath after deep breath.

Finally, she settled on how to open this can of worms.

"Miyako…D-Do you remember…When we were babies?" Ruby gently turned on the bed, brushing her blond hair out of her face. "W-When Aqua and I, only a year or two old if that at the time…M-Made you think you were crazy by calling ourselves gods and talking to you?"

"A-Ah…That…" Miyako gulped, scratching the back of her head, slowly nodding. "I-I do…I admit, sometimes I think I was just hallucinating or having a bad dream since…I-It still doesn't really make any sense…"

"W-Well, we kinda lied, I guess. We saw you trying to rat out Mama to the press, and we had to think of something so…We just thought of doing that…W-We're not really gods or anything, although we weren't normal babies either."

Miyako listened to Ruby speak, eyes darting towards the bed for a moment before raising and looking back up at Ruby. Her eyes were confused, yet her head slowly nodded. "I…I know you weren't…Y-Yet, as time went on and you began to act your age more and more I just thought…Whatever that was had…Passed…"

"...We were like that as babies because…This isn't our first chance at life." Ruby gently reached over, grabbing Miyako's hands and squeezing them in her own. "We lived once before, in a past life…And…We retained our memories in this life…"

Miyako tilted her head to the side, even more confused. She opened her mouth a few times to speak, yet she wasn't quite sure what to say.

Sensing an opening, Aqua took a step forward and spoke. "Miy…Mom…Do you remember a while back, we were having a conversation at the dinner table and you were confused at what I said? You were wondering how I knew we were born at Takachiho Hospital, since our medical records had been changed and nobody told us. I also mentioned Ryosuke, and how he had been stalking Ai at the hospital but was driven off by the Head Doctor."

"...I remember, I admit it stuck with me for a while but I didn't really know how to bring it up with you after." Miyako said in a low voice, her eyes pleading for Aqua to continue.

"The night Ai gave birth, the head doctor who was meant to deliver her babies vanished. Right?" Aqua kept staring at Miyako, and after a few moments of silence…

"Y-Yes, I remember Ichicho going ballistic over the phone, and how much danger Ai was in during the delivery without the doctor…B-But, much like I asked you the first time Aqua how…How do you know that?"

"...The Head Doctor that night…Was me." Miyako could feel her breath catch in her throat, her chest tightening while listening to Aqua. "Ryosuke, the man who eventually murdered Ai, was stalking her that night at the hospital. I saw him, I chased him…And I was killed by him. Pushed off a cliff, my head was split open upon landing on the ground and I bled to death. I closed my eyes, expecting Hell…And woke up in the arms of Ai, reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino."

"...What…?" Miyako said in a whisper, her head falling somewhat, bangs hanging low and covering her eyes. "That…"

"Doesn't make sense? It's either you believe that, or believe we're gods or whatever other magic that could have made toddlers speak to you to stop you from outing their mother." Aqua's words cut deep, yet…It wasn't like she could just outright deny them.

She truly did think the twins were gods at one point, and for many years after she let them practically do whatever they wanted because of that.

She couldn't deny any of that.

Before the silence could grow deafening, Ruby gently squeezed Miyako's hand once more to bring the attention back to her. "I-I was the same, though I wasn't a doctor or a nurse or even murdered. I-I was a patient who had spent most of her life in the hospital with a terminal disease, my chances of living were…Basically zero, in fact I probably lived longer than I had any right to. I passed away in the hospital with nobody around me…Only to wake up four years later, in the arms of Mama, as Ruby Hoshino."

"R-Ruby…" Miyako spoke in almost a whisper, slowly raising a hand and placing it over the hand Ruby had placed over her other hand. "That's…"

"...I only had two people in my life that gave me a reason to carry on…Mama, whose dance and mannerisms inspired me, I rewatched her countless times and I could never get enough of her. But also…" Ruby turned her head towards Aqua, a blush and smile spreading over her lips. "S-Sensei was there for me also, every single day."

"Sensei?" Miyako turned her head over towards Aqua, and after a moment it clicked. "W-Wait, you were a doctor and Ruby was a patient, then…"

"W-Well, Aqua was only an intern at the time, but yeah…He spent almost everyday with me, even when my own family chose not to. He inspired me, played with me, ate with me, he even watched Mama with me even though he really wasn't a fan of idols." Ruby lightly laughed, her eyes staying on Aqua. "But through it all, he was with me every step of the way…Right Sensei?"

"...Yeah, I was Sarina." Aqua lightly smiled back, his eyes shining brighter before he closed his eyelids.

"Sarina…?" Miyako muttered, causing Ruby to quickly turn back towards Miyako and nod.

"M-My name in my past life! Sarina Tendouji! Sensei…Still calls me that in private…Y-You can to if you want Miyako, though I guess that would be a little weird…" Ruby awkwardly laughed, Miyako's expression slowly changing before she just nodded.

"I-I think I'll stick with Ruby but…Y-You had a very beautiful name, Sarina." Though how she said it was awkward, Ruby could tell Miyako was genuine, causing her to giggle.

"T-Thanks Miyako…" Silence once again fell over everyone, with Miyako slowly processing everything she had heard.

Turning her head towards Aqua, she gulped before speaking. "W-What about you Aqua? What was…Your name? I-If you want to tell me that is."

Aqua opened his eyes and locked gazes with Ruby, the twin couple staring at each other for a couple of seconds before nodding.

Walking a step closer, Aqua took a deep breath. "In my first life, before I was Aquamarine Hoshino…I went by…Gorou Amamiya…"

"Gorou…W-Wait…" Miyako's breath once again hitched in her throat, eyes going wide, processing what Aqua had just said. "B-But that's the name of…"

"Miyako…" Ruby gave a final squeeze to Miyako's hand before slowly pushing herself to her feet, taking a slow breath. "Sensei and I…Made a promise…"

Miyako watched as Ruby slowly walked over towards Aqua, before she reached down and interlocked her fingers with his, holding his hand tight and then wrapping her free hand around Aqua's arm, completely shocking Miyako.

"B-Back when we were Gorou and Sarina…Sensei and I promised we would…Get Married." Miyako only stared at the Hoshino twins, processing exactly what she was being told.

First, they said they were reincarnations of people from the past, which while crazy couldn't be discounted considering of her own experience with them when they were toddlers.

Then Ruby said they made a promise to get married.

Which meant…

"R-Ruby, you and Aqua…?"

"...S-Sorry, Sensei went through alot for the makeup and disguise, he even did vocal chord practice to change his own voice." Ruby laid her head against Aqua's arm, avoiding eye contact with Miyako, who could only keep staring at the twins in more and more confusion. "W-When I was a patient, Sensei-"

"Back when I was a Doctor, and Sarina was a patient, we made a promise." Aqua suddenly interrupted Ruby, taking the lead for himself before she made any statements that could have made the situation worse considering their ages at the time. "That once she healed from her terminal illness…We would get married but…Well…"

"...S-She didn't heal…" Miyako finished the sentence, to which Aqua nodded. "B-But…T-To make a promise means…"

"...Ruby and I are in love, yes. A love that started back when we were still Doctor and Patient, and continued on, even after we found out we now shared the same blood." In a sense, that was the best way for Aqua to phrase it.

Certainly much better than saying a twelve year old Sarina asked Gorou to marry her, and to make her feel better, he said they would get married when she was sixteen.

Miyako merely kept staring at the two of them in total shock, before she slowly raised a hand and placed it over her mouth, turning her head towards the side. She was trying to process that her two adopted kids, twins no less, were…Dating…

They were dating…

They were dating!?

Slowly letting her hand fall to the bed, Miyako shook her head back and forth, still attempting to try and find the right words to say. "Personally, I don't really care what you think at the end of the day."

Aqua continued on, drawing Miyako's attention back towards him…

Towards his eyes, flashing with both light and darkness.

"Sarina and I made a promise in our past life…We have memories and life experiences before we were even Aqua and Ruby, families that had no connection to one another DNA wise. And…I can't thank you enough for taking us in, because even with all that, we still had to relive once we were reborn, and I'm proud to call you my Mom. At the same time, even if you don't approve of us, and even want to disown us…I'm sticking with Sarina till the end."

"S-Sensei…" Ruby looked up towards Aqua with an increasingly deeper blush, her grip around Aqua's arm tightening.

Miyako sat and listened to Aqua's words, processing them before lowering her head once more. A small chuckle, though one devoid of any emotion, escaped her lips before she shook her head. "I must not have been that good of a mom if you think you two could do anything for me to disown you…"

"M-Miyako…" Ruby's voice wavered, though her grip around Aqua remained steadfast.

"E-Even if you two are reincarnated and were lovers in a past life, I…I don't know…I…Can't process it…" Miyako said almost exhaustively, running both hands over her face before falling back onto her bed, looking up at the ceiling. "I mean…A brother and sister dating is…"

"Physically, complications for being a couple are miniscue…For the first generation at least. So, unless Ai had unwittingly procreated with an immediate family member, no risks are truly in play." Aqua explained calmly, though Miyako only responded with a sigh.

"I-It's less than that and the morals…"

"We're twins, there's no power dynamic of an older sibling towards a younger sibling. Plus, growing up we were quite distant, both focusing on different goals in life, so our interactions to form a sibling relationship before a romantic one was miniscule…Of course, that barely applies to us, since this is simply a continuation of a relationship before our current lives took hold. If you found and married someone because you truly loved them, then you both died under horrific circumstances but then got a second chance to be together with the only caveat being you now shared blood…Would you truly use that to betray the love you created in your first life?"

"...I-I guess not but…" Miyako let loose one more sigh, slowly pushing herself up into a sitting position, forcing a smile towards the two of them and shaking her head. "I-I don't know, you're going to have to give me time to…Process it."

"Of course, it's hardly a normal situation to deal with." Aqua continued to speak calmly and rationally, using both his time as a Doctor and an Actor to convey his words.

"I just ask that…You let me process it, and slowly work in your lovey dovey stuff alright? Walking in on you two kissing would be…It would be a shock and will need alot of getting used to." Miyako attempted to joke, yet Aqua and Ruby shared one more look before Ruby unhooked herself from Aqua and stepped forward.

"There is…One more thing…"

"O-One more…? E-Ever heard of information overload…?" Miyako almost pleaded with her words, yet prepared herself anyway for whatever Ruby was about to tell her next.

Closing her eyes and saying a silent prayer to whatever god was listening, Ruby grabbed her shirt and slowly raised, exposing her slightly chubby stomach. "..."

"...R-Ruby…" Miyako's eyes widened, she knew what Ruby was implying but…

"...Y-Yeah…T-Three tests all…Were positive."

"O-Oh my God…" Miyako raised both of her hands and pressed them over her mouth, before slowly closing her eyes and shaking her head back and forth. "Oh my God…"

Feeling slightly uncomfortable, Aqua slowly turned towards the door. "I'll let you two talk it out-"

"Stay here." Miyako suddenly said, opening her eyes once more and looking up. "Stay here, Gorou."

Her words were sharp, catching Aqua off guard. Yet, he did as he was told, turning back around and straightening himself back up with a nod. "Of course, Mom."

Sighing heavily through her nose, Miyako slowly moved her hands forward and grabbed Ruby's wrists, holding them as gently as she could. "Answer me honestly, Ruby…Or Sarina, or whatever you go by."

"R-Ruby is fine…"

"Then…Ruby…Do you want this child?"

"Huh? O-Of course I do! Afterall it's…It's…" Ruby's words died down, her judgment telling her that telling Miyako their baby could be Ai being reborn was maybe a tad much for right now. "...It's my child, the first one I've ever had! I want to have them, just like Mama had us!"

"I see. It's a big responsibility you know? Ai had to take several months off from being an Idol, and had to enroll in a hospital undercover with only a select few knowing who she was. Not only that but she had to give a natural birth since she couldn't have a scar from giving birth. Even if you go through all that, your Idol career could be in-"

"I don't care." Ruby said firmly, her eyes burning with light and passion. "Even if it costs me my career and all my fans, I'm having this baby no matter what! Because…I love them!"

"...Alright." Miyako slowly nodded, her eyes slowly turning over towards Aqua. "Aqua…It's safe to assume you're the father, correct?"

"Well, unless Ruby has been unfaithful to me which is quite unlikely, then yes I am. I take full responsibility of course, even as a doctor and my planning…Accidents still happen, I guess." Aqua attempted to explain rationally, yet Miyako simply shook her head.

"I don't care if it was an accident or planned, you two have enough combined age experience between your two lives to make that decision, right?" Well, if Aqua was being honest his combined age experience would be in the fifties, but considering Ruby never lived past the age of twelve as Sarina and is now sixteen…Well, he could cheat and say sure, she had thirty years of experience. "Regardless, I don't care how it happened, and I don't care if you two were lovers in a past life…You're my children now, and I want an honest answer from you. Do you want this child, and will you do everything you can to care for it, just as much as Ruby will?"

Ruby seemed taken aback by Miyako's question, her head slowly turning to look towards Aqua. For his part, Aqua nodded, before smiling as naturally as Miyako had ever seen before. "I love this baby as much as Ruby does, and no matter what happens, I will care for it and make sure I'm the best father they could ask for."

Especially in comparison to the babys son of a bitch grandfather.

"...Alright." Miyako took a deep breath, before turning her attention back to Ruby. "Then…Once I'm out of the hospital…Want to go baby shopping?"

"H-Huh? You mean…?"

"...Like I said, I still have to process it, even taking into the account you two are reincarnated or whatever, it's still…So weird and unnatural but…Process it I will, and one thing is for certain…You're going to be a mom Ruby, and as your own mother, I will do everything I can to help you."

"M-Miyako!" Ruby suddenly pushed herself forward, wrapping her arms around Miyako's neck tightly and hugging her, which Miyako returned. The two of them quickly had tears form in both of their eyes, neither of them wanting to let go of one another.

Aqua awkwardly shuffled in the background, sticking his hands in his pockets and slowly turning to look at the TV- "Aqua, you too, come here."

Miyako called over to Aqua, causing him to turn back towards her. Both her and Ruby, teary eyed both, had opened up their arms for him to join them. "C-Come on Sensei, you're a part of this family also!"

"...Heh, Right." Chuckling to himself, Aqua slowly walked over and bent down, wrapping his arms around Ruby and Miyako, the two of them all hugging each other close.

For a fleeting moment, all of the darkness and pain they had all suffered recently.

Seemed to vanish, in a moment of family unity.

The sound of rain hitting against a glass window was the only thing that filled the small room, the only figure inside being an older man, blond hair over the front of his face with an exhausted look in his eyes. All around him, various pictures of different girls hung up, all of them being pictures of women he had worked with in the past.

However the biggest picture, and the one whose attention he was paying the most towards, was a giant poster of Ai Hoshino which was neatly hung and framed on the wall.

Raising a hand to brush the blond hair out of his face, he shook his head and sighed. "Just what is going on…?"

His question wasn't directed at anyone in particular, yet he would soon receive an answer. "You seem troubled, Hikaru Kamiki."

Turning his attention towards the window, he saw it had suddenly been opened, a singular crow staring back at him. After a moment, the crow jumped and landed on the ground, before slowly morphing into what seemed like a small girl.

Her dress was black, crow feathers fell around her while she stood up. Her silver hair cascaded down to her shoulders, and her deep red eyes stared deep into Hikaru's.

For a moment Hikaru said nothing, yet he soon pushed himself up, leaning forward with an empty look in his eye. "I did what you suggested…Yet, she lived."

"Indeed, once again fate has been knocked off its intended course. Miyako Saitou was meant to die, pushing Aquamarine Hoshino away from his sister Ruby and onto his destined path of seeking revenge against you, allowing you two to meet and decide an important event that Fate has been leading up to…Yet, not only did Miyako Saitou live, but it was because of Ruby Hoshino, which led to this new path." More crows suddenly flew in from behind the girl, filling the room, with the silver haired girl slowly moving towards Hikaru. "A path where Aquamarine Hoshino is no longer driven by revenge, and has now found his light."

"...I was shocked, you know? I knew those kids were alive, but for you to randomly appear one day and tell me that not only are they reincarnations or whatever, but also in love with each other? Well, it's stupid to the highest level."

"Yet, you believed me." The girl said in almost a teasing tone, causing Hikaru to let out a small tch and look away.

"How could I not? You knew everything about me, even including the first woman I ever fell in love with…Even if she…" Hikaru bit down even harder on his lip, drawing a hint of blood before spitting it out onto the floor below. "Whatever, I'm only doing this because of what you said. If I don't have this fateful meeting with Aqua or whatever, then Ai will…"

"She will be forgotten to time, nobody will ever remember her. A day will come when B-Komachi will be remembered for Ruby Hoshino, and not for Ai." The words made Hikaru's blood boil, his hands shaking, gripping one another in pure anger. "Fate was progressing smoothly, Ai died as intended, Aquamarine became embroiled in darkness and revenge, which would slowly lead him back into the acting business. First with that manga adaptation, before he would perform Tokyo Blade, which would show him he would need to fully embrace his darkness if he wanted to act, yet…"

More crows flew into the room, landing all over the place, yet Hikaru paid little attention to them, simply listening to the girl of the crows.

"Ruby Hoshino not only found out who Aquamarine was in his past life, but even went as far as mentioning the promise. It should be another two years before she finds out who Aquamarine is, and before that she needs to embrace her own darkness by finding Gorou Amamiya's corpse…" The girl spoke as if she was annoyed, looking towards the side with a glare. "Fate is not easily disrupted, yet something caused Aquamarine Hoshino to be careless enough to not delete his browser history…I suspect it's the same force that is now living inside of Ruby Hoshino."

"Living inside her…?" Hikaru looked over with a raised eyebrow, awaiting an answer.

"...Nothing for you to be concerned with. Our goal is to simply put faith back on its collision course between you and Aquamarine, though I fear with Miyako living, even more drastic measures will be needed…Drastic measures that will take a while to enact."

"I don't care how long it takes, a day, a month, a year, ten years…As long as that daughter of mine doesn't replace Ai and erase her memory…That's all I care about!" Hikaru spoke with venom, causing the girl of the crows to chuckle, before looking over with a rather sinister smirk.

"Well then, I suppose for now we should start planning, namely on how to ensure B-Komachi's 2.0 is crushed before they ever get to a point where they threaten Ai's legacy."
