It would be reasonable to think Antauri's sons would inherit his abilities.

One would be mostly correct in thinking that. Marino was potent in his telekinesis, and it was apparent when he was young. He first used it on Magma, mainly to stop him from doing anything, when they were four. It was only for a moment because he quickly became lightheaded. His nose started to bleed and he fell back. Gibson caught him while Antauri handled Magma and calmed him down. Gibson picked Marino up and wiped the blood off his nose and lips.

"I suppose this confirms what we thought." Gibson said.

Antauri nodded. "It does, however he will need training. It's clear his abilities are too much for him right now."

Antauri followed through on his statement. He helped him get a hold on his telekinesis. They started off training him to use it on smaller things. He had Marino do it until they knew his limit, then worked on the weight he could lift and the amount of time he could do it. It took some time, but Marino became quite powerful. He was able to lift Chiro with telekinesis by the time he was nine, albeit he couldn't hold him for more than a few minutes at that point without feeling lightheaded and passing out.

It took Marino until he was fifteen to be able to use it on a majority of things without a problem arising. Very rarely did he ever become lightheaded or get a nosebleed from it. Antauri still trained him occasionally, but it was to help keep his abilities to the best they can be.

Then there were Soma and Astral. Their powers were present, but their telekinesis wasn't as strong as Marino's. Antauri tried to help them strengthen their powers, but after a few years, he realized it won't become more potent than it already is for them. Soma and Astral hardly ever used their telekinesis and when they did, it was for smaller things. Because of the fact they didn't use telekinesis too much, almost everybody forgot they had it most of the time.

Antauri helped make sure their abilities didn't weaken as well, no matter how little they used it or how strong it was. He didn't want them to lose it or become too weak when they might need it the most.

Lastly, Magma was the one Antauri anticipated to have telekinesis to some capacity. Yet, by the time the decuplets turned ten years old, Magma didn't display any sign of those abilities being present. It could be buried deep within him and he needed help bringing it forth, so he attempted to train Magma. Magma thought it was boring at first.

The first few times, Magma strained himself to use telekinesis. He ended up getting a headache and set lightly ablaze. When Antauri noticed, he put his hand on his shoulder.

"Don't strain yourself, Magma. Relax yourself, and clear your mind." That was what Antauri told him every time. "A fish doesn't swim to the top of the waterfall overnight."

After a while, Magma got frustrated hearing that, like he wasn't even trying. He turned to him as his body burned a bright red.

"You don't think I ain't fuckin' trying? Dad, I've been trying to do this for weeks and nothing's gonna happen!" Magma snapped. "I'm sorry if that's a disappointment to you that not all of your boys have mind powers like you do!"

He stomped away after that. Antauri sighed as he let him walk away. He couldn't blame him for feeling so frustrated, but at the same time, they didn't mean to make Magma feel like he's disappointing him. That was the last thing he ever wanted to do, make his kids feel like they're disappointing him or anyone else. He loved them no matter what they did or didn't have.

Antauri went to him later when they felt he had enough time alone. When they got to him a few hours afterwards, Magma simply sat at the table eating some cookies. His tail pointed downwards, motionless, while a frown resided on his face. It was clear that the training was on his mind. He didn't seem to notice them at first.

Antauri floated over to the table and sat down next to him. It was then that Magma noticed he was there. He eyed him for a few seconds before looking away again. He sighed.

"Hey, Dad Antauri." He started. "Sorry 'bout earlier, I didn't mean to snap or get pissed like that."

"No, you don't need to apologize for getting frustrated like you did." Antauri responded; Magma looked at him. "I shouldn't have made you feel pressured like that. My intentions were to simply help bring it out if you had telekinesis like me and your brothers. I'm sorry I made you feel like you were disappointing me, Magma. I'm proud of you, that will never change no matter what."

Magma's expression began to soften as Antauri spoke. He leaned on them as he took another bite of his cookie.

"…So we don't hafta do that stupid training anymore, do we?"

Antauri snickered at his opinion of it. "No, we don't have to do any more telekinesis training. You don't appear to have it anyways, so it would be pointless to continue."

"Good."

Antauri noticed that his tail started swaying. his mood improved, at least. After Magma ate the rest of the cookie, he hugged him.

Antauri hugged him back.

While Soma and Marino were training one time, something happened.

Everybody watched as they threw attacks at one another. Soma dodged every swing Marino made towards him. Marino drew out his katana and swung one side of it at his legs to attempt to sweep him off his feet without cutting him.

The flat side of the blade went through his legs, almost like he was merely a mist. Marino looked up to see the smirk on Soma's face for a split moment before he vanished. His eyes widened tremendously. Everyone watched in awe, not expecting that to happen. Marino took a few steps back.

"Didn't our parents teach you to never walk backwards?"

Before Marino could look behind him, he got swept off his feet and he hit the ground. He went to get up, but a cyan claw pushed him down. Right above him, Soma blocked the room's light from his eyes. Every bit of his body was cyan, with his eyes having a tint of green. He appeared ghostly like Antauri did whenever they used their ghost powers. The cyan slowly disappeared, his body going back to his original appearance. The smirk on his face became apparent. Color drained from Marino's face, like he saw an actual ghost.

Chiro suddenly smiled wide. "Holy fucking shit, did you know about this?" He looked at Antauri when he asked.

"No, this is news to me." Antauri had a small smirk on his face. "He must've been training to do that by himself."

Soma chuckled as he stood up.

"Oh, no I just wanted to see if I could do that. If you're able to do it, then it's possible that I'd be able to do it, right?"

Marino lightly gasped. Antauri himself was a little surprised, alongside the others. He simply tested out a theory during training and it worked. Gibson then smiled widely, it was full of pride and joy. His tail even wagged.

"That's my smart boy!" Gibson yelled out.

Soma lightly blushed at how proud Gibson felt towards him. He chuckled again, this time it sounded like he wasn't sure how to take the compliment. Antauri stayed smiling, loving how his children had their own little surprises.

Even if they weren't the strongest in one area, they had something else to make up for it.
