ARC I WHEN DOUBTS ARE PUSHED AWAY, BEAUTY COMES OUT

Chapter 7

1

Usopp kept a journal of dreams, in which he wrote memories and strange dreams he kept having over the years. He would make theories. He would try to learn of the things his mother hadn't had the time to teach him.

That night following the confrontation between his student and a teenager called Gokudera, he fell asleep on his desk and found himself in a very familiar house. There was his mother standing near the table in the dining room, on which there was a book of pictures opened. He saw himself, a six years old boy, sitting at the table and watching the pictures. That conversation, he would always remember it. And those horrible pictures that spoke of a terrible end for most of his ancestors and people.

"The World Government thinks that they ended our bloodline during the terrible war that opposed them and the Clan of Desmon. We were standing with the clan and fighting with them. Our abilities scared the hell out of the government and they decided to end us. It was a massive genocide. They sent soldiers to kill any non-fighters at first. Old people, men, women, and children. There were some survivors that went into hiding. But during the war, they succeeded in killing almost all fighters of our clan. The survivors of the war went to find their relatives, the living ones. And we began to hide. As the world erased every trace of us, we hid and grew. We hid and expanded. And that's what we're still doing until the right moment." Bankina smiled sadly at his younger self, caressing his messy curly hair.

"The right moment?"

Samhain. On this particular day on which the invisible barrier between the physical and spiritual worlds disappeared, the year 900 started with a bloody war. The defeated went into hiding and the victorious changed the world to fit their images. They hailed themselves as gods. The defeated ones, however, hid and grew, and expanded, and waited until the right moment.

"There are individuals that will change the world one day. We just have to wait, my dear son." The woman answered him, hugging the small child.

Usopp still wondered when this moment would come. He hadn't seen many relatives since he was born but he knew how to recognize them. He would stand beside them and fight without doubt.

"Perhaps, one day, you'll find a D to befriend. Someone to fight with, someone to protect, someone to cause chaos." The dark-haired woman whispered as she straightened her back.

"Never thought I'd meet one." Usopp mused aloud, watching the pair mother-son walking out of the room.

"It's happening." Someone whispered near his left ear, startling him.

The pirate turned to face a tall figure with a mask on his face. He showed his emotions deep inside of him and tensed. He still didn't know who the man was.

"What's happening?" Usopp dared to ask as he tried to not fall on his knees as the man's presence was commanding.

"You'll see in time."

The young man frowned at the answer but didn't push it. The pirate looked around him as the dream faded away and another took place.

"Who are you?" Usopp asked, observing the man in front of him and wondering what sort of shit he was in.

"I have many names, dear child. You will get your answer soon because you know me. For now, what you need to know is that your power of walking through dreams and nightmares is getting out of hand. You need control."

"What?"

"I will teach you, child." The stranger stated, reaching the younger man and caressing his hair. "After all, you are not the first one of your bloodline to be able to walk through my domain."

Domain. Usopp became still. He looked at the man standing a few centimeters from him, still passing his hands through his hair. The assassin almost leant towards the stranger. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath. In. Out. Could that stranger be…?

"That one, Nana, is quite interesting. Her son is too. You're doing well despite not belonging to this world." The being said as he stepped back.

"Why teach me?" Usopp asked, his heart beating so fast as he recognized with whom he was talking.

"For the peace in my domain, of course. "

"Are you…" He trailed off, suddenly feeling shy in the presence of the being.

"I am Morpheus, the Sandman, the King of Dreams and Nightmares, Hypnos for Greeks, Morpheus for Romans." His voice was sounding through the dreamland as he released the hold on his powers. Usopp stumbled and fell on his knees, his eyes widened in fear and surprise.

The dreamland faded. Usopp looked around him and noticed that the landscape had changed again. He was sitting in a large throne room with large windows giving the sight of beautiful and fantastic gardens.

"You are protected by Dionysus, Ares' champion, and watched over by many gods. You are in the center of chaos, Loki is looking forward to meeting you." Morpheus spoke, removing the mask from his face.

Those words were the last words as the physical world pulled him from his dreams.

October 10th

Words from her biological family arrived in the mail. But without doubts, someone had been sent, otherwise it would be embarrassing if the mail was lost. There was a small package that contained a few letters, three invitations, and another letter, this time signed by her father's hand. The invitations were for her son, Anton, and herself as her father had indicated last time on the phone. The Dfräk festival was coming; they had three months.

She grabbed the letter written by her father. Taking a deep breath in order to calm herself, Nana started to read it in her head.

Dear daughter,

I, Akatsuki Hoshi, officially and formally invite you and your son to celebrate with us Yule. It will be quite a pleasure to meet you again. For the Dfräk festival, there are the invitations inside the envelope and they are a requirement to enter the place of the Dfräk festival.

Now that is said, I need to speak of another matter. It's concerning the man that saved you and your son. While I'm thankful, I'm not sure what to think of this young man. All information known to the public, or at least the civil world, is mostly fake. Although we cannot verify his civil identity, the rest, I assure you, is fake. I must ask you to speak with him to ensure that he's not a spy or anything else. If you can verify his truthfulness, then he shall become our guest for the Yule holiday.

May Dionysus watch over you, daughter.

Your father.

It certainly didn't help Anton's case, if it were really his name. Something told her it wasn't, however, it didn't really bother her at all. The young man was mysterious in a way she could not describe. Despite it, he was truly smiling and laughing, he was so open and so warm. It was weird, she thought to herself as she put away the invitations in a drawer. She returned to the couch and mostly to the letter. Her father expected her to confront Anton.

"Nana?"

Speaking of the wolf, he was there. Standing on the doorstep of the living room, he looked half-awake. His skin was too pale for her liking. Did he fall sick? The woman noticed the clothes he was wearing were his night clothes. He slept a long time, longer than usual, which wasn't unusual. Was his sickness acting up?

"Have you slept well?" She asked, frowning as he came closer to her.

"Yeah.. Too much though. Might get an alarm." Anton answered, dropping down on the couch in front of her.

"Anton. Are you alright?"

"Yeah."

He wasn't at all, nevertheless, the woman chose to not push it. There was a permanent hint of sadness in his eyes whenever he talked about his past as odd as it could be.

"I need to speak with you, Anton. Or is 'Anton' really your name?"

The assassin immediately narrowed his eyes on her. His eyes fell on the letter she was clutching in her hands. The look of nervousness on her face indicated everything he needed to know. She observed him as he pushed his emotions away, as his face turned from surprise to total blankness.

"Who are you, Anton? Why did you lie about your qualifications? Are you here to hurt us? Are you a spy?" Nana started to lose herself into the so many questions she had, not letting the young man answer.

"No, what the fuck? Nana!"

"Answer or get the fuck out!" Her flames erupted from her body, ravaged the couch she was sitting on and attacked the young man.

Anton stumbled away, his eyes widened in shock. He wrapped his own flames around himself, wishing that someone was there to stop the older woman from attacking him. He closed his eyes. Could he tell her that he wasn't from her world? Would she even believe him? The pirate gritted his teeth, swearing against every being in the universe and against the universe itself as he went out of the living room.

Sometimes, he really wished he never went into this world.

"Anton!" Nana called, following him, as she still let her rage out, "Answer me!"

"Answer you? You won't fucking believe me, Nana! Nobody in this fucking world would!"

What would his crew do? As questions raced through his mind, the pirate used his mist ability to get away from the house, and Namimori. He appeared in the middle of a forest, Dionysus knows where, and stumbled on the ground, shaking.

"Never reveal who you are, Usopp." His mother's voice whispered in his right ear.

"Fuck you, mom!"

Somehow, he found the sea.

Its calm waves slowly calmed the rage that was building inside him. Those waves brought the memories of his time spent with his captain and Chopper, playing and messing around and with Nami when they were fighting together or speaking about relationships. He missed Zoro, the first mate and the dedicated swordsman. He missed building with Franky, playing music with Brook, reading with Robin, and cooking with Sanji. It felt so unfair to be away, he only wished to be with them. Somehow, not telling the whole truth at the crew felt okay as long as it didn't hurt them. Usopp felt the tears falling down his cheeks, expressing themselves in the utter sadness that filled him.

Oh, and that anger… He was so angry at his mother. Her words still washed over him, reminding what might arrive if the truth came out. But he was so overwhelmed, all he wanted to do was to tell the truth.

For once.

It was certainly not okay to hide so much from his crew, from the people he loved most. And he felt like an asshole to be angry at Nana because she had every right to be. She didn't know who he truly was. Nana, her son, Mammon, Kensuke, and all the other people he got to know… Could he really trust them? He was not from their world. How could they even believe him?

The pirate sat down on the beach, playing with the sand as he looked at the sea looking for answers. Choices belonged to him and only him, the wind spoke. He really wanted to go back to his world, to join his friends' adventures and… be himself.

"Fuck you whoever sent me here!"

Only the silence replied.

He stayed there late. Usopp decided to make a camp near the beach, going into the forest to find some wood in order to make a fire, then with a fishing rod he went to fish. He went back to his camp with fish and a grab. Cooking took a while but he managed fine as he used Sanji's survival cooking lessons to make a decent meal. He truly missed Sanji's cooking. As he began to eat, he checked his phone. It seemed that everybody was worried about him.

Skodde — I'm alright, needed to cool off. Gonna explain a few things when I'm back.

Nana — I'm glad you're okay. I'm sorry for attacking you.

Mammon — Wait, you didn't say that you attacked him.

Kensuke — Nana…

Akiko — Friends' fights, no need to worry guys.

Skodde — I'm sorry for being so mysterious, you'll understand why when I'm back.

Mammon — Where are you?

Skodde — Ares knows where.

Kensuke —

Akiko —

Mammon — Did you use your mist flames to get where you are?

Skodde — Yup :)

Kensuke — Not the smiley face!

Skodde — :)

Nana — Tsuna says you're fine.

Skodde — :)

Kensuke — Stop with the smiley face!

Mammon — Alright, send a message here when you're back. We'll talk tomorrow. Be there or I'll send Belphegor to hunt you.

Skodde — :)

Smirking, Usopp arranged his tent with his mist ability in order to make it comfortable for the night. He only ended up sleeping four to five hours because of the constant thoughts he had and the fear of the conversation he would have with his friends (from both worlds). In the dreamland, he traveled through dreams without understanding what Morpheus wanted him to do. At least, the dreams were pleasant. In the morning, he erased all traces of his presence before heading towards the sea. He scanned his environment before turning his head towards the sea.

"Luffy! Zoro! Nami! Sanji! Brook! Chopper! Robin! Franky! I hope the wind carries my message to you, I'll do my best to get back to you all, to our world!" He promised it to the world he was in, to the waves softly crashing down the beach and to whoever was watching him.

He burst into tears. He was home sick, he missed being on the ship. He even missed fighting marines and finding himself with the others in some shitty situations. He remembered the undercoverage missions in which Nami and himself would steal a lot of money in the end while the rest of the crew played minor roles necessary in their plan. He missed being a chaotic pirate in a chaotic pirate crew. Despite the fact he shed tears, he was smiling fondly at the vivid images of his friends standing in front of him.

He gazed at the landscape, imagining the Thousand Sunny shining in the horizon with all his friends waving at him.

"I'll be back, guys." He whispered to the sea before turning away, his hands drying the fallen tears.

He rubbed his red eyes for a while. He skulked through the sand, feeling the warm sun and cold wind on his back as he went to the woods. Usopp smiled, letting go of the sadness of being away for so long. Time to get back to work! He thought to himself as he concentrated on his mist ability, he took long and deep breaths as he slowly reached his core. His cloud flames stood guard around him as he pushed deeper and deeper, letting go of worries and such, reaching the core.

The core of steel as Lù called it.

Usopp certainly didn't have Lù's ability to reach the core of steel easily. With practice though, the time to reach his core decreased granting him the capacity of using more often in critical situations.

He opened his eyes, feeling his environment shifting as he moved from one place to another. He arrived near Namimori shrine, the place he had visualized. Usopp smiled to himself, proud of his improvements with his mist ability. He quickly sent a message to the group chat. Then, the pirate began to make his way back to Yamada's house. He extended his senses around him, watching any suspicious person as he went past streets and the shopping center. Namimori was truly a pest.

"I do hope you aren't trying to avoid us." His mist officer told me as soon as he appeared on his right shoulder.

"If I wanted to do that, I'd have never sent the message." Usopp commented, still walking at a good pace, not looking forward to the conversation.

"You need to speak with the Vongola heir following the end of our conversation. There's a five year old that has been sent by their own family. It's a potential lightning." Mammon informed him as he sat down on his shoulder.

"The fuck is this shit?" Usopp swore loudly, wondering who the fuck thought it was a good idea to have a child as a guardian, "Tsuna will not be pleased."

"Even the boss would not be happy about that."

"Belphegor."

"Special case. They both harmonized the moment they met each other. And Belphegor is clearly unique due to his upbringing." The mist officer explained without asking for any form of payment.

"I'll speak with Tsuna."

October 11th

There was a small crowd in the living room of the Yamada family, the pirate thought to himself as he looked around him. The silence was odd. He sat on the only armchair in the room, preparing himself mentally to affront potential judgment. Going to another world was the level of bullshit of Grandline, he was used to Grandline even though he hadn't gone to the New World yet. But them, those people, they lived in a perfect normal world. Perfect, perhaps not, but their world was certainly very different from his.

"I won't beat around the bush." Usopp began, his eyes staring into the souls of the adults and teenagers. "I'm not from your world."

"The fuck." Kensuke swore, staring widely at the pirate.

"I know; What kind of bullshit is that? But sadly for you, it's the truth." Usopp spoke, his eyes watching the reactions of every person in the room.

"I confirm, it's the truth." That was Tsunayoshi using the famous Vongola intuition.

"I arrived in your world two years ago. I don't know if my arrival in your world was accidental or not but as far as I know I don't fucking know how to get back." Usopp began.

"Alright, then, who are you? What are you?" That was Nana, still looking for answers.

"I'm Usopp, that's my real name. I won't speak about my past though, it's complicated and.. I'm not strong enough. I was born with my abilities but they are different and similar somehow. That's a little bit weird. In my world, I'm a pirate."

"What the fuck?" Kensuke asked Usopp, his eyes narrowing.

"I just lie well, I just hide well. Don't ask me though, like I said, I won't talk about it. Let's just say that I'm from a family that — was — is a threat to the World Government in my world."

"Wait." Mammon appeared at his side. "There's only one government in your world?"

"It's the global government of the world and then there are countries and realms across the world. It's a bit complicated though. Any more important questions?" Usopp really didn't want to speak about the bastards that were in favor in genocide and esclavaging people.

"You are a pirate!" Chrome's eyes shone bright and showed excitement as she jumped out of her seat on the couch in front of him.

"Yeah! That's why you know so much about ships and navigation!" Tsunayoshi added, joyful.

"There are two vast oceans which are divided by a massive mountain range known as the Red Line; the Grand Line, a sea that runs perpendicular to the Red Line, further divides them into four seas known as North Blue, East Blue, West Blue, and South," To illustrate his words, he drew a map of his worlds showing the oceans and seas. "And the Grand Line is divided in two parts: Paradise and New World. The Grand Line is the most dangerous sea!"

"Why?" Akiko asked quietly, staring at the map with a curious glee.

"Unstable weather, it's known as a cemetery to all travelers. A storm can arrive at any moment."

It felt so refreshing to be able to speak clearly about home.

"Please, keep this to yourself. I don't want to find myself in shitty situations!" He bowed to his friends, begging for their silence.

"Of course!" His student agreed, sealing the agreement between the two parties.

"Am I allowed to ask about recipes in your world?" Nana shyly asked.

He nodded.

"Skodde. Can I share it with Xanxus and the rest of the officers?"

He hesitated for a few seconds but then understood why the mist Arcobaleno was doing this.

"Not now, please." The pirate wanted to keep control of his secret.

"Very well." Mammon looked pleased despite his face being hidden from his hood.

"Thank you, A-Usopp. I'm sorry for yesterday." Nana wrapped her arms around his shoulders and gave the warming mother hug that felt so similar from his mother's.

"You scared the hell out of me, Nana. " He chuckled, the nose in her clothes.

October 12th

"Lambo is here!"

The small child was walking and boasting at the same time about himself, smiling widely as he looked around him in wonder. He had never been to another country before. Lambo smiled, still speaking loudly in Italian as he didn't really speak in other languages.

"Lambo, if you want to come back here, you have to kill Reborn. Or else, don't ever come back." The voice of the head of the Bovino family sounded through his mind as tears filled his eyes.

The local didn't spare him a glance as they walked past him. The few people, decent ones, however, decided to call the Hibari clan about the foreign child walking all alone. Lambo bursted into tears as the words of his family came back to him.

"Lambo, you're really useless! Can't you be like your brother?!"

"Stop being loud! Go back to your studies if you don't want me to whip your butt!"

"Another bad grade. When are you going to study seriously, Lambo?"

It wasn't fair.

His parents didn't care the slightest to him and never bothered to provide the basic needs.

"Your siblings are busy. Get lost, Lambo!"

To kill Reborn… How could they imagine that a five year child could kill the greatest hitman? Lambo sniffed as he turned right, ignoring the concerned looks from the locals and all attempts at communication as he wasn't very good at understanding Japanese.

"Lambo?"

Lambo stopped his tracks, startled. He raised his head and gazed at the two people standing right in front of him. There was a teen and an adult.

"Lambo? I'm Tsuna, I'm the Vongola heir."

The child froze immediately at the words. His blood ran cold. He tried to step back, however, the fear cripled his legs.

"We aren't here to kill or hurt you, Lambo. You've been sent here by Sawada, remember?" The teenager said, lowering at his height.

"Sawada?" Lambo mumbled to himself, delving into his memories. "Oh."

"Originally, he sent you as a potential guardian. But we aren't going to allow that, instead we're offering you to stay with us. You don't have to do anything, just be a normal kid if you want." The adult quickly informed him.

"Oh.. Really?" Lambo asked, hope rising inside his chest.

"Yes."

Lambo agreed on living with them from now on. He then learned about the man's identity; he was an assassin from the terrific Varia, codenamed Skodde, and was acting as the bodyguard of Tsunayoshi or Tsuna for short. Skodde offered to buy him a meal when his stomach growled. He eagerly agreed. Tsuna took him in his arms, smiling softly. They walked through a couple of streets and entered a Ramen shop. Lambo never ate Ramen before!

"My mom will be delighted to have you with us." Tsuna whispered to his right ear as he sat down on a chair.

"Really?"

"Yeah! Don't worry, Lambo! We'll help you through hardships!"

"Thank you."

For the first time ever, he didn't have to be loud to get attention. The Vongola heir was unique, Lambo thought to himself as they waited for their order.

"Yummy." The kid mumbled after eating his bowl of Ramen under the amused looks of his two new friends.

"Usopp?"

"Um?"

The pirate put down his chopsticks and looked at his student. Tsunayoshi looked pensive as he listened to his intuition.

"What's piracy for you?"

"Freedom." Usopp chuckled, thinking about all the adventures he had with his crew.

"But… isn't it bad?"

"It is. But my crew and I are another kind of pirates. We're not saints per se, nevertheless, we are not bad compared to others."

"Oh, you're a pirate!" Lambo said, his eyes widened in shock. "Can I become one too?"

"When you become a grown up, sure." Usopp easily agreed to Tsuna's surprise.

"Eh!"

"You're a mafioso." Usopp added in a comment.

"It's not a reason to encourage him!"

Usopp roared at him as they walked side to side back home with their newcomer. Reborn appeared out of nowhere and sat on the left shoulder on Usopp, glancing at Lambo Bovino. The child didn't even notice him, enjoying his student's and Skodde's laughter.

October 13th

Fuuta clutched his book, his body shaking as the men slowly approached. His back facing the tall wall he could never reach due to his tiredness of running all the time. He missed the mafia family that was protecting him while letting him be a kid within their ranks. At nights, he saw their bloody faces telling him to run. His stomach growled. Fuuta grimaced; he didn't have eaten in days.

"Be a good boy and go with us, kid." The man said as he pulled out of his packet a cigarette and lit it up.

"As long as you are a good kid, we won't hurt ya." Another man informed him with the most twisted smile.

"Boss said to not hurt him. Knock him out." The smoking man ordered, not moving from his position.

"Not even an inch?"

"He won't be of any use if injured badly or dead. Restrain yourself."

Fuuta sobbed quietly, knowing he would never go past those terrible men. The same men that killed the family that raised him. He wished he knew how to fight. He stepped back until his back touched the wall. The men blocked any way out, smirking at the child that they had been chasing for a while.

"Time to go home with us, kid."

A blond-haired man wearing a dirty suit grabbed him by the throat and threw him on his shoulder, the group started walking towards the cars parked a few streets away. As Fuuta continued to cry softly, he began to lose hope.

"Ha, I can't believe you're doing that to a kid."

Fuuta opened his eyes. He saw a man standing a few meters away, pulling out a weapon out of nowhere. He narrowed his eyes and noticed that the stranger seemed younger than he first thought.

"Firebird star." The young boy strained his ears to hear the spoken words of the young man as a bird made of flames was shot.

Fuuta was dropped on the floor. Using this opportunity, he scrambled away from the men, but none of them paid attention to him. The stranger suddenly moved, disappearing in the mist, and appearing behind them.

"Chop chop mist." The boy hid behind a car, still watching the deadly scene as mist filled up the entire combat zone.

Fuuta wondered what was happening. He was grateful for the person saving him from a horrible situation. Screams sounded through the street, piercing through the mist, and then silence was made. As the mist slowly disappeared, he caught the glimpse of dissipating bodies with chopped heads.

"May Davy Jones devour your souls, fools." The unknown person said as he stepped out of the mist, walking towards his hiding place. "Fuuta della Stella, Vongola is offering to protect you from now on."

Vongola. The whole reason he had been traveling to Japan was Vongola. He knew from his readings that the Vongola Heir would protect him no matter why. For some reason, he later found out that he couldn't read this stranger. With a smile, Fuuta reached and grabbed his hand.

"Let's go home, Fuuta. No one will hurt ya anymore."

He took Fuuta in his arms and started running out of the street, leaving the mess to the members of the Hibari clan. Usopp smirked, holding firmly the child, as he joined his student and his group of friends standing a few meters away from the Namimori shrine. Together, they came back home.

Fuuta was overjoyed to be easily accepted by the mother of the Vongola heir. Stars in his eyes, he could remember the readings he had done on the heir before coming to Japan. Nana introduced herself to the child while leading him to his bedroom. Vongola was ensuring the protection of Fuuta della Stella but it was the heir and his mother that would protect and raise him from now on.

October 27th

It had been a couple of days since Lambo and Fuuta had joined the Yamada family. Nana was working with Akiko in order to properly adopt the two children and ensure their protection from potential enemies.

Tsunayoshi, Chrome, and Kyoya were doing well in their classes. Kyoya had a few interactions with Gokudera, the mafioso that was still trying to be "friend" with Tsuna, that resulted in pure violence as Kyoya didn't want to allow the teenager near his sky. Apparently, the silver-haired teenager wanted to be "Tsuna's right hand and storm guardian" and was calling Tsuna "Tenth" every time he saw him. It was slowly getting on Tsunayoshi's nerves. The Vongola heir was prone to anger due to the stupidity of Vongola itself and the underground.

"I swear if he comes back, I'll send him flying!" Tsuna mumbled under his breath as he strode towards his house, holding four full bags of groceries.

Skodde chuckled. He had just come back from a mission in Taiwan. To Tsuna's sorrow, he hadn't given any details, however, he had said that it had been easy. Reborn was riding, as usual, Usopp's shoulders.

"Throw him into the sea." Usopp smirked, his right foot knocking some rock far away from him.

Reborn didn't talk at all, preferring to listen to the pair. Ever since the pirate had revealed a secret about himself, his world had been shattered. All theories had flown through the window the moment Usopp had spoken of another world. The young man was interesting, he was less tense and more open than before, which was a good thing. The pirate had potential like his student had. The arcobaleno couldn't let potential go to waste. However, Skodde was Mammon's and Kensuke's first. The Varia assassin had revealed his competence as a sniper, therefore he had decided to offer advice to the dark-haired sniper.

Creativity. He lived by it. The man in the body of a child had seen some glimpse of what he was working on nowadays. He knew that some people, Reborn knew, would be rather interested in this man.

"I'm working on a weapon. You will see it when I'm done. You know what's easier? Getting materials in this world. I have more savings here than on my own.. Oh! Reborn, do you know someone who could help me replicate my world's money?"

Reborn blinked a few times, " I might."

"Great!"

Replicate his world's money? He smirked as he pulled out his phone and immediately texted Verde and Skull. Verde would love working on dimension travel and Skull would simply be interested in Usopp because the cloud arcobaleno saw things that others didn't.

Mammon and Kensuke worked in tandem to train Usopp because the young man needed to let out of his true self. It was important to stop his self-sabotaging. The potential was overwhelming. He knew that someday Usopp would be a powerful individual. One of the most important points was to teach the pirate about trust. It would without doubt help him. From what he heard, his crew seemed like a small family and very united. Secrets were good, yes, but not if they were harmful to others. Usopp needed to be able to reveal himself to his friends.

"I wanted to ask you something, Usopp-ni."

Reborn was pulled out of his thoughts by his student's words. He didn't know that Tsunayoshi considered Usopp as his own brother. It was sweet.

"Yeah?"

The pirate wasn't even bothered by the appellation.

"Can you teach me to be a sniper?"

All froze at the question. However, Usopp looked quite excited to have someone to teach about one of his abilities. Reborn wasn't expecting his student to want to be a long-distance fighter.

"Are you sure?" Usopp quietly asked, hiding his joy of sharing his passion with someone.

"Yes!"

"Okay. I'll teach you. I'm sure Reborn will be able to teach you too." Usopp easily agreed, beginning to walk again.

Plans were never the same all the time. Anything could change. One tiny detail could make the difference. The arcobaleno smiled, already imagining what he could teach about guns. For unknown reasons, Vongola ninth and Sawada wanted the heir learning hand-to-hand combat at all costs. Which was an odd request. Perhaps, Viper had more information about this… He needed to contact him.

"Tomorrow, I'll teach you about holding a gun, Tsuna." Reborn informed his student with a smirk.

"Yes!"
