A/N: I honestly forgot about this shitheap. Think I need to do a little more gnoming here. This one is something every Fable player has done.
Chapter 2
Oavkale was a pleasant town to live in, in spite of the bandit attack that razed it to the ground. The people there had learned from that horrible experience, rebuilding their lives and grateful for the protection from both Heroes and guards.
As always, there was one tiny little problem, something that inconvenienced shopkeepers nearly every day.
Every so often, at precisely eight o'clock in the morning, a Hero would barge into the nearest shop, pockets overflowing with gold coins, and yet forcing the poor shopkeepers to sell them their entire stock, only for them to realize the economy was essentially ruined. That caused a shortage and shortages meant prices went through the roof, far too much for a simple farmer to even hope of affording.
The Heroes didn't stop there.
They'd sell the items back to the shopkeep at an exuberant price and then walk away acting like they saved the economy. All while walking out with even more gold and farting on anyone unfortunate enough to be in their way. Or they were given the finger. Wankers, the lot of them.
Oakvale's blacksmith took issue with the way Heroes treated them and had the courage to tell the Hero who tried to buy his entire stock and sell it back for three times the normal price to take a long walk off a short pier.
Of course he was beheaded almost instantly, but that wasn't the point. Someone had finally stepped up to a Hero and call them out on their nonsense. This was a decisive victory for the common people of Albion. May they celebrate by raising the prices of goods again. Screw those Heroes. If they had a problem, they could sod all the way off until they reached a sign that said, 'No sodding off past this point,' and keep buggering off.
Down with corrupt Heroes. Only those who weren't complete twats would be given fair prices on their goods.
A/N: Me, using the trader glitch to make millions in the span of about twenty minutes? No, surely not.
