Episode 2: Get the Show On the Road!

Riding on her bike up the hill is a young girl named May, who just turned 10 years old and is beginning on her journey and becoming a Pokemon trainer. May has fair skin, light brown hair, and blue eyes. She wears a red short-sleeved shirt with a navy blue semi-circle on it, a yellow fanny pack, white gloves with navy fingertips, a white mini skirt over dark blue cycle shorts, and black ankle socks along with red shoes with black and yellow stripes.

She cheers, "Whoo! Yeah."

May continues riding her bike to Littleroot Town to meet up with Professor Birch, who is a friend of her dad's. However, this new trainer is more interested in traveling and getting to be on her own.

Suddenly, a ghost Pokemon called a Duskull appears to say, "Duskull!" (Greetings.)

May, frightened, goes down a hill on the rear wheel of her bike before it lands on the front wheel and she hits a tree face first

"I guess I... should have worn a... helmet. Ow…" May says before falling down.

Duskul flies over, "Duskull?" (That's so?" And takes its leave, Duskull. (That so? Farewell.)

A bit later, May rides up another hill.

"The truth is, I don't like Pokémon," May says.

She then reaches the top and stops to see the view, "Ah, voila," and looks down upon Littleroot Town, "But the traveling? I just love it."

Still having plans of becoming a great Pokemon trainer, Mew and her friends Eevee and Pikachu along with Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet continue their quest as they sail towards the Hoenn Region. However, inside the ferry, there is an important matter that is on her mind. Last time, Team Rocket caused Mew and the others problems, and now Pikachu is badly sick. Mew holds Pikachu as he has a blanket wrapped around him as the others watch in worry.

"Just try to rest, Pikachu. As soon as we dock, I'm gonna take you right over to the Pokémon Center," Mew says, worried.

"Pi...Pika," (Th-thanks buddy.) Pikachu answers, still not feeling well.

Unknown to them, on the deck of the ship, Team Rocket was on board.

The announcer says, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Littleroot Town. Prepare for arrival."

"Littleroot Town?" James replies, confused

Then Jessie says, "The city whose colors will never change."

"Huh?" The boys respond as they turn to Jessie.

"That's right," Jessie says, "Littleroot Town has remained true to its roots. Ah, me, I guess my colors have slowly been changing over the years."

"What do you mean?" Mwowth asks.

"Jessie, have you been here before?" James asks."

"Mm-hmm," Jessie answers, "Is this really all that there is?"

"Huh?" The boys say, confused.

"Following the twerp and trying to catch Pikachu and Eevee? James, have we ever truly blasted off at the speed of light?" Jessie responds, dramatically.

"Is she speaking hypothetically?" James questions.

"If dat means wacky, den yes," Meowht says.

Wobbuffet then comes out, "Wobbuffet!" (That's not it.)

Jessie takes out her Pokéball, recalls Wobbuffet and sighs. James and Meowth also sigh.

Once the ferry docks, Mew and the others hurry off to find a Pokemon Center.

Mew asks one of the citizens, "Excuse me, sir. Could you tell where the Pokémon Center is?"

"I'm afraid this town doesn't have a Pokémon Center," The man answers.

Mew and Tomo are shocked to hear it.

"What do we do now?" Tomo asks.

Mew looks down to Pikachu, "Pikachu.

Then she has an idea, "I know!"

Mew then makes a call, "Hello? Is this Professor Birch's laboratory? I'm Ashley from Pallet Town. It's an emergency."

Meanwhile, at Professor Birch's lab.

A scientist hears what happened and is shocked, "What? Your Pikachu's ill? That's terrible. Well, unfortunately, Professor Birch is out in the field right now conducting an experiment. Stay put, Ashley. I'll try and get in touch with him."

"Great. Thanks a lot," Mew says.

The scientist hangs up, while Mew sits down with his ill Pikachu.

"It's okay. Everything's gonna be just fine now," Mew says.

Mew and the others wait patiently for Professor Birch.

Time has passed…

"Pikachu," Mew says, worried.

Suddenly, an SUV screeches in. Inside is a man with brown hair who wears a lab coat and a blue shirt. He also has a beard as well.

The man asks, "Are you Ashley?"

"Yeah! Are you Professor Birch?" Mew asks.

"Let me see," Professor Birch looks at Pikachu to see his condition, "Not good. Let's get him to my lab immediately!"

Soon, Mew, Tomo, and the Pokemon are riding with Professor Birch in his SUV. Mew comforts Pikachu as sparks continue to come out of him.

"I see. Symptoms of electrical discharge," Professor Birch says.

"What's that mean? What symptom?" Tomo asks.

"I heard of this before. It's when Electric Pokemon are unable to release their electricity regularly. That must be why the sparks keep coming out randomly," Mew says.

"YesIt's a serious problem that sometimes occurs among electric types," Professor Birch says.

He then asks Mew, "Tell me, has Pikachu been exposed to any magnetic fields?"

Mew soon remembers what happened the other day, when Pikachu ends up getting stuck to Team Rocket's electromagnet.

Mew soon realizes, "Yeah, that's it! Pikachu was strapped to a magnet."

"An electromagnet, probably," Professor Birch says.

Pikachu tries to get loose.

"Pikachu!" Mew says, worried.

"What's wrong with him?" Tomo asks, worried.

"The high fever is confusing him," Professor Birch says.

Pikachu sparks again.

"Pikachu!" Mew cries out in worry.

"He's getting worse," Tomo says.

"You're right. This is bad. We've got to get it to the lab immediately. Better hold on tight, everyone," Professor Birch says.

The professor starts driving off-road.

Mew cries out, "Look out!"

"Sorry. We don't have a moment to lose!" Professor Birch says.

Professor Birch drives right off a ledge and then speeds right down a hill before passing a lake with butterfly-like Pokémon flying over it

Pikachu, it won't be long now," Mew says, worried.

Soon, they arrive at Birch's Laboratory, where the professor brings the SUV to a stop right before his assistant.

The assistant says, "This way, Professor. Everything is in place and ready for you."

Prof. Birch: Thank you. This way, everyone.

Everyone goes inside, where Pikachu is placed on a table and attached to a device

"Application set," The assistant says.

"What's that?" Tomo asks.

"A device that will rid Pikachu of all his trapped electricity," Professor Birch says.

He then informs, "Power on, Joshua."

"Yes, sir," The assistant, Joshua says.

Joshua pulls the switch and activates the machine.

"Pikachu, just hold on," Mew calls out.

However, the trapped electricity quickly starts to overload the machine.

"Professor…" Joshua says, shocked.

"Keep going!" Professor Birch says.

Pikachu's sparks become more powerful.

"Pikachu," Mew calls out, worried.

Suddenly, the device breaks.

"It's too much. It won't hold!" Joshua cries out.

Professor Birch and Joshua back away from the device as it explodes. Once the smoke settles, Pikachu makes a run for it out the destroyed window.

Mew gasps, "Pikachu!" and runs out the window to chase after him.

Eevee follows after him.

Professor Birch calls out, "Do you have Pokémon that are strong against an electric type?"

"I do, but I need to help Pikachu myself," Mew says.

Eevee responds, "Eevee!"

"She's going to need help," Professor Birch says and picks up his Pokeballs.

"I'll help too," Tomo says.

"Thanks. We're going to need all the help we can get," Professor Birch says.

The group jumps out of the window.

Joshua rushes over and calls out, "But, wait! We had set those Pokéballs aside for May, remember?"

Professor Birch soon stopped, knowing Joshua was right.

"There's no choice! When she gets here, just tell her to wait!" Professor Birch says and runs off with Tomo and the Pokemon.

However, unknown to any of them, Team Rocket was snooping around.

"Wonder what's with Pikachu," Meowth says.

"And why the twerpette have black hair?" James questions.

"Oh, goodie. Now we run, too," Jessie says and sighs disappointed.

"And now what's wit you?" Meowth questions.

"It's what we do, Jess. Chase," James says.

Meanwhile, up ahead.

Professor Birch calls out, "Ashley, wait for us!"

Mew turns, "Tomo! Professor Birch!"

The group soon stops.

And Professor Birch says, "Pikachu's internal electricity is too high! A disturbance of any kind into Pikachu's electrical field could cause a massive explosion!"

"Explode?!" Mew and Tomo cry out in shock.

Everyone envisions a horrible possibility of what would happen to Pikachu, worrying Mew even more.

"Pikachu's in much more trouble than I thought," Professor Birch says.

"What do we do now?" Mew asks, worried.

"I think we'll have better luck if we split up and search for him," Professor Birch says.

"You're right," Mew says.

Everyone soon splits up. Meanwhile, at Professor Birch's lab, May has shown up.

Joshua walks over, "You must be May."

"Yep, I'm looking for Professor Birch," May says.

"He had an emergency in the mountains, but asked that you wait for him here," Joshua says.

"Oh, then I'll go find him," May says and rides off.

Joshua calls out, "Wait. Hold on!"

"I've never been much good at waiting. Bye!" May says and continues to ride off.

Joshua sighs, "These kids, always in a hurry."

Meanwhile, Mew searches for Pikachu and runs.

Mew calls out, "Pikachu! Pikachu! Pikachu! Come on out, Pikachu!"

In another area, Tomo calls out for Pikachu as well.

"Pikachu!" Tomo calls out.

Meloetta and Skwovet call out to Pikachu in their language, but he isn't answering.

Meanwhile with Prof. Birch.

Professor Birch calls out, "Pikachu! Where are you, Pikachu?!" He sighs, "Where are you hiding?"

The professor suddenly slips, "Whoa!"

The professor slid straight down and landed right behind and frightened a sleeping dog-like Pokémon, Poocheyena.

Professor Birch realizes what's going on and laughs, "Oh, hi, there. Sorry for just dropping in on you like that, Poochyena."

The Poocheyena howls, causing two more to show up before they start growling angrily at the professor

"Uh, that's not a friendly greeting. No, doesn't sound sad either," Professor Birch says, looking at the Pokemon, and soon says, "So that leaves one thing, you're angry!"

The Poochyena pounce at the professor and start chasing him down.

"I'm brilliant!" Professor Birch cries out, "Please, stop it! Can't we discuss this?! Help!"

Up on the ledge, May rides in.

May calls out, "Professor Birch?

Professor Birch, up in the tree, spots May, "Terrific. You must be May. Great timing! Please, open that bag over there!"

"This one here, right?" May asks, looking at the bag.

"Yes, grab any of the Pokéballs inside and hurry!" Professor Birch says.

May soon gasps in worry as she spots the Pokéballs, knowing she doesn't like Pokémon.

"That's easier said than done. Which one of them do you want?" May says, sounding uneasy.

"Any one will do!" Professor Birch says.

May sighs, "Okay, this one," And takes out one Pokéball, "Here goes!" and tosses it.

From the Pokéball, a Mudkip comes out.

"Alright, a Mudkip!" Professor Birch says.

Mudkip turns to see May, "Mudkip?" (Who's this?)

Then May asks, "That's good. Now what should I do?"

"Call out one of its attacks!" Professor Birch says.

"Okay, which is…" May questions.

"Just say 'Use Water Gun' now!" Professor Birch calls out.

"Got it," May says.

Then says to Mudkip, "Use Water Gun."

But Mudkip sprays the Water Gun at May's face.

"That supposed to happen?" May asks.

Professor Birch just sighs before the branch breaks, sending him falling towards the Poochyena below, who proceed to chase after him again.

Professor Birch calls out, "Mudkip, this way! Over here!"

Mudkip quickly heads down to the professor

He then says, "Use Water Gun on the Poochyena!"

Mudkip fires and nails all three Poochyena, impressing May.

"Not bad," May says.

The three Poochyena run for it.

Professor Birch says, "Mudkip, return," and returns Mudkip.

"Thanks for all of your help, May," Professor Birch says.

"Oh, it was nothing," May says.

Prof. Birch then says to May, "You've really grown up a lot since I last saw you, May."

May then asks, "Professor, what's going on? What were you doing up in that tree?

"There's really no time for this, May! We'll catch up later!" Professor Birch says.

Meanwhile, Pikachu continues to wander around.

Suddenly, he hears Mew's voice, "Pikachu! Pikachu, just stay right there."

But all Pikachu sees is a blob that looks like Mew with a distorted voice that slows down, prompting him to start sparking again, but this causes his eyes to glow red before he releases a terrifying blast of power

"What was that?" May asks.

"Pikachu's electrical buildup is reaching critical mass," Professor Birch says.

May was confused by what the professor was saying.

"Pikachu. He might explode!" Professor Birch says and runs off, leaving May terrified by what he said

Meanwhile, Mew and Eevee were able to dodge the attack, but are now on the ground.

Mee gets up, "Pikachu."

Mew tries to approach, but Pikachu starts sparking again

"We've gotta get back to Professor Birch's laboratory, now!" Mew says.

Pikachu sparks yet again before Professor Birch shows up.

He calls out, "Get away!"

Everyone looks and sees the professor with May. Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet arrive as well

"Pikachu could explode at any moment!" Professor Birch says.

"But I've gotta help him!" Mew says.

Pikachu soon runs off.

"Pikachu! Wait!" Mew calls out.

Pikachu, not looking where he was going, runs off a cliff.

"Oh no!" Tomo cries out.

Mew then lunges forward to rescue her friend as he cries out, "Pikachu!"

Everyone watches in shock to see Mew taking a very risky move.

Mew mananges to catch herself on the branch while grabbing Pikachu at the same time.

"I'm gonna help you, Pikachu! Don't worry!" Mew says.

Pikachu starts sparking again.

"Just hang on!" Mew says.

Soon, a rope drops down)

Prof. Birch calls out, "Quick, Ashley! Grab the rope!"

"Okay!" Mew says.

Mew then grabs the rope and starts climbing up the ledge. Professor Birch, Tomo, and May pull the rope to help them up. But then Pikachu tries to get loose again.

"Pikachu, hold still! It's okay!" Mew says.

Pikachu starts sparking again.

"Pikachu!" Mew calls out.

Pikachu then bites Mew's arm before he sparks again.

"Pikachu," Mew calls out, gritting her teeth in pain.

Pikachu looks up, beginning to regain himself.

"I promise, you're gonna be fine!" Mew says.

Pikachu soon regains himself, "Pika Pi," (Mew)

Mew continues to climb up before finally reaching the top

"That was close," May says.

"Yeah. It sure was," Tomo says.

"Thanks a lot, you guys," Mew says.

"Pika Pi," (Mew) Pikachu says, worried.

"Pikachu. What do you say we get back to the lab and get you all better? Okay?" Mew replies with a smile

Pikachu starts licking the spot where he bit Mew.

"Chu," (Sorry.) Pikachu apologies.

"I'm fine. I know you didn't mean it, little buddy," Mew says.

Eevee comforts Pikachu as well.

Suddenly, Jessie's voice appears, "Prepare for trouble? What's the point? Oh well."

Suddenly, a large, mechanical foot stomps down and forward, catching everyone's attention

"Huh? What's that?" Professor Birch asks.

Then Team Rocket performs their motto.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble for the umpteenth time.

James:

Make it double and I'll make it rhyme.

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all people within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie.

James:

James.

Jessie:

Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light.

James:

Surrender now, or prepare for an out-of-this-world fight.

Jessie turns to James, "What's the point?"

And then Meowth comes in.

Meowth:

Dat's right.

Then Mew says, "Professor Birch, that's Team Rocket, and they keep trying to catch Pikachu and Eevee."

"Team Rocket? Who are they?" May asks.

"I've never heard of them," Professor Birch says.

"Trust me. They're always up to no good," Mew says.

"Yeah. They're a bunch of crooks who go around stealing Pokemon, and they follow us wherever we go," Tomo says.

May gasps in shock.

Then Team Rocket enters the robot.

"So, Pikachu, where's all your Thunderbolts?" Meowth calls out.

"My, aren't we confident?" James replies.

Meowth giggles and says, "Well, I, for one, have been doing my homework. Now dig dis! I've come up with a machine dat'll beat dat pesky Pikachu at its own nasty game. No matter how high these volts go, this machine will absorb them! We'll be sure to catch Eevee after words.

Eevee leaps into battle, and Pikachu tries to leap into battle.

Mew says, "Don't do anything, Pikachu!

"Dat's how you wanna play?! Trying to make us think Pikachu's gonna go kablooey?! Fine wit us!" Meowth says.

Then a claw comes out of the robot and grabs Pikachu before connecting it to the absorbers

"Absorption, James!" Meowth says.

"Yes, sir! Absorb away!" James says.

With the pull of a lever, Pikachu has its electrical power drained.

Meowth laughs triumphantly, "What an electrifying moment for Team Rocket!"

"Shocking!" James says.

"Pikachu!" Mew calls out.

Meanwhile, Meowth and James don't even notice what's really going on

Meowth laughs, "Took a while, but I'm pleased to announce dat we finally come up wit a winner! Ha!"

"If it actually works," Jessie says, not really caring.

Soon, the energy absorption device reaches critical mass.

"Professor?" Tomo responds.

"Now that's power!" May says.

"Pikachu!" Mew calls out.

"Pikachu's output is INCREDIBLE!" Professor Birch says.

Now Meowth laughs sheepishly, "Don't worry.

"Do I look worried?" James says, worried.

"Oh, well. Another blast-off?" Jessie asks.

(Soon, the absorption process stops.

"Pi...Pika," (Hey...I'm cured!) Pikachu says, feeling a lot better.

Pikachu then launches a Thunderbolt to shock the machine, amazing everyone. One bolt accidentally hits May's bike and zaps it into a crisp.

May gasps in horror, "My bike's barbecued!"

Back in the robot, Team Rocket was feeling the power.

"We haven't been wasting our time after all! This amazing Pikachu is the only thing the boss would want!" Jessie says, who is actually amazed.

"But have we captured..." James says.

"Too much of a good ting?" Meowth adds.

"Wobbuffet!" (I think so!) Wobbuffet replies.

Then Jessie asks, "Do you smell something burning?"

Soon, Team Rocket realizes, "I think we're smelling us!"

The robot suddenly explodes.

"Quite a Thunderbolt," Mewoth says.

"It has renewed my energy and passion!" Jessie says.

Then Wobbuffet says, "Wobbuffet!" (Welcome back!)

"Here we go," James says.

Team Rocket cries out, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!""

The smoke clears and Pikachu is on solid ground.

"Pikachu! Pika!" (Good riddance!) Pikachu says, but soon collapses.

Mew rushes over, "Pikachu! Pikachu, are you okay?"

Sometime later, at Professor Birch's lab.

Joshua says, "Professor Birch. It appears that Pikachu's electricity pressure has reached normal levels."

"Good. That machine of Team Rocket's must've absorbed all of Pikachu's unneeded electricity," Professor Birch says.

"Pikachu," Mew says, relieved.

"A goodnight's sleep ought to do the trick," Professor Birch says.

May tries to peek in, but nearly knocks over a vase of flowers before catching it and everyone's attention.

May nervously says, "Hi. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm May."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ashley. I'm from Pallet Town," Mew says.

"And I'm Tomo," Tomo says.

May then asks, "So, how's Pikachu?"

"Sleeping pretty good, finally," Mew answers.

"By tomorrow, Pikachu should be good as new," Professor Birch says.

"That's good news," May says.

Professor Birch says, "Well, now, May, are you ready to choose your first Pokemon?"

Tomo is surprised, "What? Your first Pokémon?"

"So that means you're a new trainer, right?" Mew asks.

"Yep," May answers.

Soon, May is presented with three Pokéballs.

"These Pokéballs contain three beginner Pokémon," Professor Birch says, and picks up one of the Pokeballs, "First up…"

And out of the Pokeball is a small, green, bipedal reptilian Pokémon. It has yellow eyes with long, narrow pupils. Its hands and feet each have three digits covered with tiny spikes. These spikes allow it to scale vertical walls with ease. Its stomach and throat are red. It also has a line across its stomach resembling a pouch. It has a large, dark green tail with two separate lobes that it uses to sense humidity.

"Treecko," Professor Birch says.

"Treecko!" (How do?) Treecko replies.

"Looks cool," Tomo says.

"Treecko is a Grass Type right?" Mew asks.

"Sure is," Professor Birch says.

May gets a closer look at Treecko before it looks at her.

"Treeck," (Heya.) Treecko says.

May becomes startled, "It's creepy."

"No, it's not, May. I think it's a really cool Pokémon. Besides, he's just saying hello," Mew says.

Next came Mudkip.

"And this is Mudkip," Professor Birch adds.

"Kip," (Hi) Mudkip says.

May just groans in disappointment, remembering that it soaked her.

"That's a water type," Tomo says.

"Correct," Professor Birch says.

"Yeah, but that Mudkip wouldn't do a single thing that I asked it to do,"

"Really? How could that little guy cause trouble?" Mew asks and pet Mudkip.

"You're very fond of Pokemon, aren't you, Ashley?" Professor birch says.

Finally, out of the last Pokeball is a small, chick Pokémon with stubby, downy, yellow wings. Its body is covered with orange feathers and a fluffy coat of down. There is an orange and yellow crest on its head that resembles a flame. Its two thin legs and short beak are a light brownish yellow, and the feet have three toes in front and one in the back.

"Next I'd like you to meet, Torchic," Professor Birch says.

"Torchic," (Hello.) Torchic says.

"Torchic is a fire type," Professor Birch says.

Awesome," Tomo says.

Torchic approached May curiously and nuzzled her leg affectionately.

"Aww, he likes you," Mew says.

"Well, this one's not so bad. I like it. That's that," Mays ays and picks up Torchic, "I choose Torchic."

Torchic happily agrees before we see 6 Pokéballs and a Pokédex on the table.

"Be sure to take that Pokédex, and those Pokéballs. Too," Professor Birch says, "If you work hard, you can become an even better Pokémon trainer than your father,"

"Sounds like a great goal, May," Tomo says.

May gets nervously and sheepishly says, "Yeah," and laughs sheepishly, "Thanks, Tomo."

May then murmurs to herself, "I'd give up Pokémon any day of the week just for a trip around the world."

"Uh, what was that, May?" Professor Birch asks.

May becomes startled and nervous, "Hmm? I said I wouldn't trade it for the world," And then giggles.

The next morning, May was looking at her burnt bike, angry that it happened, yet also sad at the same time.

May sighs, "My gorgeous bike. This is all that Pikachu's fault. I've got a bone to pick with them," and walks away.

In Mew's room, May opens the door, "Hm," and spots something, "Oh."

What May finds is Mew sleeping close to her Pikachu and Eevee. Tomo is also sleeping with Skwovet and Meloetta.

"Poor Ashley. She's been taking care of her Pikachu all night long," May says to herself.

"Pikachu," Mew mutters to herself.

May slightly backs off, thinking Ashley is waking up.

"Pikachu, please be okay," Mew mutters to herself.

Pikachu wakes up and nuzzles Mew, causing his trainer to wake up.

Mew soon wakes up, "Huh? Hey."

Pikachu happily says, "Pika, Pi!" (Mew!)

The two friends along with Eevee share a hug

"Oh, I'm so happy," Mew says.

"Pikachu," (So am I.) Pikachu says.

Ëevee," (We're glad you're okay.) Eevee says.

May watches secretly with a smile, "Hmm, well, look at that."

Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet wake up and are glad to see Pikachu is okay. They all join in on the hug in relief.

May soon shuts the door.

Outside, May lets Torchic out.

May then says, "Well, good morning, Torchic," And rubs Torchic.

Soon, everyone walks out from their sleep.

May approaches and asks, "Pikachu's alright?"

"Yeah," Mew says.

"Pika!" (I'm fine!) Pikachu says.

"That's great," May says.

"Pika," (Thank you.)

Pikachu and Eevee suddenly jump off of Mew's shoulder, and approach Torchic

Pikachu greets Torchic, "Pika, Pikachu!" (Nice to meet you, my name is Pikachu!)

Then Eevee says, "Eevee Eevee," (Hi. I'm Eevee.)

Meloetta and Skwovet also walk over to greet him.

"Loletta," (Hello. I'm Meloetta.)

"Skwov Skwov," (And I'm Skwovet.) Skwovet says.

Torchic then says, "Torchic, Tor." (I'm Torchic, hi.)

Soon, the group begins running around, playing together.

"Alright, looks like they're hitting it off okay," Tomo says.

Mew giggles, "I guess you found your first friend here in Hoenn, guys."

May looks then turns to her burnt bike, "My poor bike. Ah, who cares?"

Later...

Professor Birch says to May and Mew, "Now, you two will have to register for the Hoenn League at the nearest Pokémon Center you can find, okay?"

"And the closest town where I think you'll be able to find one is Oldale Town," Joshua says.

"Okay, thanks," Mew says.

May sighs, "Walking all that way alone makes me nervous. And my bike's destroyed," And turns to Mew, "Thanks to your Pikachu, missy."

Ash looks at her with a sheepish smile, "Whoops."

Then Mew has an idea, "Hey May, why not tag along with us."

"Huh?" May says, confused.

"Yeah. That you can get to Oldale Town safely. And we get to hang out some more," Mew says.

Mew smiles, "Sure Ashley, I don't mind at all. We can go there together."

"That's a good idea. You can look after one another," Professor Birch says.

Joshua: Yes, be careful," Joshua says.

"Don't worry. We will. Thanks a lot," Mew says.

"Yeah. Thanks," Mew says.

"See you soon!" May says.

Soon, the gang begins to depart Professor Birch and Joshua watch.

"You think they'll be okay?" Joshua asks.

"I'm sure they'll be alright. I feel that May will be a good trainer with Mew and Tomo around," Professor Birch says.

Joshua looks at the professor with a confused look.

"Well, despite how different her appearance is, I have a hunch that Ashley is really Mew. Also Professor Oak messaged and explained to me the details, so her secret is safe and to help her when she and Tomo need it," Professor says.

"Well, it looks like May won't have trouble with her and Tomo with them," Joshua says.

So with Pikachu fully recovered, Mew Tomo, and May begin their journey together. As they head for Oldale Town and the nearest Pokemon Center. Together, they're sure to discover new Pokemon and new friends as well. One thing's for sure, even more new adventures lie just ahead.
