Trigger Warning: Terrible things happen to a certain character.

Izuku Midoriya was back in his normal, boring school. He had his uniform on and wasn't paying much attention. It was a low-budget school in a bad neighborhood, the teachers weren't the most engaging.

The classes sucked, the teachers would go verbatim from the textbooks if they could, but the school didn't have them. So most of the class is the teacher droning on about the subject while sometimes checking if anyone was paying attention. Most people didn't, and they did nothing about it.

It was lunchtime, and he was looking for Kanako Suzume, the girl he got from the man on the TV. She was in a different class, but also the same grade. Midoriya was in 1-C, while she was in 1-B. It should take a long time to find her.

He walked into the main lunch room. It was the gymnasium except it had tables from the supply closet. The kitchen was through a door on the far side of the room, he made his way to the line. He kept an eye out for Suzume.

A few minutes passed. He was about to get through the door. "Hey, Slutzume!" A voice called behind him, he glanced behind himself.

Two girls surrounded one. It was Suzume, she was meek, with shoulders slumped. She had the usual uniform and hair that covered her face. She was smaller than both of the other girls.

He was pushed lightly, he had to walk through the door and get his lunch. It was as bad as anybody would expect. It was cheap, so he had to eat it.

He took a seat and kept an eye on the door. Suzume walked out with the two girls around her. She had the worst lunch on her tray and the other girls didn't have one. They sat down at a table across the room. Suzume was in the middle.

Lunch ended, and the group of girls left, he got up and started tailing them. They all walked into the bathroom. Izuku had to go to his classroom.

This could be an issue, if those girls were always near her, he couldn't get near her once. With the ride nickname, the submissive attitude of Suzume, and the possessive nature. They were most likely bullies. Izuku couldn't relate, he only had really good friends with a temper. He could feel his burn flare up slightly.

Classes ended and he walked to class 1-B. If they were anything like Izuku and Kaachan, which they weren't. They would still be in the room. He cracked the door and peeked inside.

Suzume was alone in the classroom, picking several objects up and putting them in her bag. She had a depressed look on her.

This was a great opportunity, he walked in and started helping her pick up her things. "Do you need help?"

She looked up at him. She nodded. Then kept picking up objects.

"Are those two girls bullying you?" She didn't answer, it was a dumb question. It was obvious what was happening. "You shouldn't let them hurt you like that." She looked at him. "Are you going to talk?"

Her lips moved, and she doubled over, putting her hand over her mouth. She was breathing heavily through her nose.

"Are you okay?"

She put a second hand on her mouth. She got up, speed-walked to the wall, and threw up. It was the lunch food, it looked the same coming out as it was going in. There was an extra object that made his stomach churn. A bloody tampon.

What the fuck? That's how they treat this girl in this school? How long did she have it in her mouth? Why would anyone do such a thing?

She was bending down to pick it up. He stood up and smacked it out of her hand. "What are you doing? Don't pick that up."

"But if I don't do as they say. They'll they'll." Her face was blank, but it said a million words.

"You don't have to do anything those girls say. They're just bullies." Why was he saying this? He just had to take her out back and do his thing. But something told him not to. "You don't need to take their abuse."

"Then what can I do?" She didn't know who he was, but she was desperate for an escape.

"Come with me. I have something to show you."

"Why are you helping me?"

"Because I'm quirkless, too."

They left the school and ran to his house. They evaded the girl's bullies by taking an alternative route. Nobody should know they were together.

He took her into his room. His mother wasn't home, she was still at one of her many jobs. Wow, he hasn't thought of her in weeks.

"Take a seat," said Izuku. Suzume sat on his bed. He walked to his desk and opened the drawer. He put a glove on and took out the bloody rock. He kept it after killing the guy because he couldn't risk taking it outside. He cleaned it of all his fingerprints for when he did, though. "Look at this."

Suzume saw the blood, she started backing away. "What is that?"

"The reason I don't have bullies." That was a bald-faced lie. He wasn't bullied because nobody noticed him. He was an expert in blending into the background. "I used it on one of them and the rest fled with their tails between their legs. You have to show them that you can't be pushed around and they'll back off."

"I can't, they're-" she choked. "They're my friends."

"Do friends call you rude names, do they push you around, do they make you eat bloody tampons? Come on, stop lying to yourself." He moved the rock close to her.

He couldn't quite place why he was doing this. As far as he knew, police weren't close to finding him. But he did make a big mistake, killing someone in an extremely populated location. They had to have him as a suspect or he'll lose faith in the police. This was just one way to stir the pot and delay things a little longer.

She looked at it. "Friends don't do those things." That was a quick turn, she was completely invested now.

"Correct."

"Bullies have to be fought."

"Precisely."

"They're bullies." Her face changed, still blank, but it came off as angry. She took the rock. "I have to fight them." Izuku figured it out, he wanted to do this for a while, but she just needed a little push.

"Good." He led her out and she left. She said she lived nearby so he didn't take her further.

The next day, he was excited. He dressed and left his house for school, arriving right when the gate opened. He wanted to see it happen. He walked to the school entrance and casually leaned on a wall, he could see the entire front gate. It was an open area with other early students. Suzume walked in, she had the same anger in her eyes. Nobody else seemed to notice.

One of the girls from yesterday walked beside her and put an arm around her shoulder. Suzume stopped walking. The girl bent down to her face. They were talking, but Izuku couldn't hear. The bully was pestering her, she was annoyed, but the bully didn't stop. It went on for a little while. "I said stop!" Suzume hit the bully in the head with the rock. The bully hit the floor. Suzume crouched down and kept hitting the girl, again and again. There was so much blood.

The other students saw this and ran. Half into the school, the other out of the gate. Izuku feigned surprise and hurried into the school. As he walked down the hall, he heard, "I am here!" It was All Might, that girl was very lucky. Wait, why was he there?

Going to school wasn't an option, the police would be there soon, and he didn't feel like being questioned. He left the school through an alternate exit. Suzume was on the roof and All Might was standing in front of her. She was on the ledge, hanging onto the waist-high railing. How did she get there? That didn't matter. Izuku walked to his apartment and made his way to the roof. Izuku took out a pair of binoculars, which he bought for his job, and looked at the roof of the school.

Naomasa Tsukauchi was torn. On one hand, they supposedly found the quirkless killer, on the other, she was a girl. She had the anger but nothing else that fit the profile they had of the killer. But she did use the same weapon used on the homeless man. She also killed someone with a quirk. None of it was adding up.

He was at the high school with the girl. She was on the roof, threatening to jump off. They evacuated the school and set up a perimeter. All Might was with him. He looked at him and said, "Why did you let her get up there?"

"She hit me in the stomach and ran." All Might had a hole in his stomach. It was the cause of his time limit. "She was already over the railing when I got there."

"Why don't you stop her from jumping? I doubt she can overpower you."

"I want her to come down on her own free will. If I force her down, she could do it again later."

"In prison, when we're forced to arrest her for being the quirkless killer." Despite it not being her. He asked around. "Can somebody tell me where the primary negotiator is?"

"That's me." A guy with a megaphone came out. Naomasa took it. "Okay, fine, just take it." He grumbled away.

Naomasa turned it on. "Kanako Suzume, you don't have to do this," he said up to the roof.

"It doesn't matter, you're just gonna kill me anyway," Suzume screamed.

"No, we're not. I just want to talk. Why did you do this?" He pointed to a tarp on the floor, the body of a girl was beneath it.

"I couldn't take it anymore! They only got worse! I had to do something!"

"Did she bully you? Is that why you hit her with the rock?" She didn't answer. "I want to help you. It's clear you didn't want to do this. Someone talked you into it. If you don't want to talk in front of all these people. I can go up there."

"Don't come any closer!"

"I didn't move. Trust me, nobody is going up without my say-so." He stopped, he only had one option. "The guy who gave you the rock, you can't trust him. He wanted you to take the fall for his killings. He's murdered three other quirkless people, one of them with the rock he gave you."

"Liar! He wouldn't do that! He's my friend, the only friend I've ever had!" She wasn't lying, Naomasa knew that more than anyone.

"I'm sorry the only friend you've ever had made you a murderer. But I need you to help me out here. People are calling for your head down here. Tell me who gave you the rock and I might be able to help. You just need to cooperate."

"He couldn't have killed those people!" She wasn't lying, but it didn't make sense.

"Why do you believe that?"

"Because he's quirkless! He wouldn't kill his own kind!" That certainly complicated things.

Tsukauchi paused, he had to think. Nothing came to him. "Come down now, and we can make a deal. Trust me, I'm on your side."

"Okay, I'm coming down." She wasn't lying, but something was off. She leaned forward, and let go of the railing.

"All Might, do something!" Tsukauchi started running beneath the falling girl. He wouldn't make it, but he had to try. The number one hero moved quickly, then spat out blood, falling to the floor, he wouldn't make it either.

The girl hit the floor, blood splattered, and it got on Naomasa's face. He could taste it. He retched, spitting it out. He kneeled, checking her pulse, she was barely alive. "Somebody get an ambulance, someone with a healing quirk, fucking anything! She's still alive!"

They took her away in an ambulance. She'll live but could take days to recover.

"Naomasa, I take full responsibility for what happened," said All Might.

"I don't need you to console me. I screwed up. I couldn't find any way to get her down safely." He'll have that on his conscience forever.

Naomasa left the scene. The quirkless killer got a teen girl killed, made someone else a murderer, and probably screwed up the investigation. The discourse from this alone would waste days of investigation time. The information they had wasn't leaked so it was probably by accident. This was embarrassing.
