It's been a week since the sludge incident. I'm back in good health but my quirk has been acting up again. The absorption part of the quirk was fine but the emission part was not working. I don't know what happened to it but sometimes it would just discharge whatever I absorbed right away and sometimes it just wouldn't come out for a while.

I've been seeing less and less of Katsuki ever since and every time I do see him, he kind of just ignores me. I guess he really did listen to the adults this time around about us not getting to anymore fights. Izuku seems to be doing better and he's also acting more and more suspicious every time I see him.

So nowadays it's been pretty quiet, no more fighting with Katsuki and even no more crying Izuku. Nothing interesting was happening but this was a nice change of pace.

Currently we are in the school cafeteria on lunch break and before I could investigate my troubles, I should probably make sure that Izuku is ok since I don't know from this point on how things are going to play out, "Hey Youta, Akari, want to investigate something with me."

"What? Is this going to lead you to another dangerous situation, because if so I'm going to use force to stop you this time," said Youta.

"Oh come on, it's not that dangerous," I laughed, "It's about Izuku."

"But didn't you want to let him have some time to himself," said Akari.

"I did, but I want to make sure he's doing fine since he's been up to something and he hasn't told any of us yet."

"Maybe he still needs time."

"I know, but I don't think he was acting strange because of my situation because when I asked him about what he was doing he said he was just working out." I air quoted.

"Maybe he is trying to get stronger," Youta said, "After all seeing his sister almost dying is a great motivation to get stronger to not let the same thing happen again."

"Yeah I guess but when have you been doing that," I questioned.

"What do you mean. I'm not doing anything," I hear Youta shrugged and turn away.

I look towards Akari and see her eyes are glaring at Youta, "Well we should investigate this together. We don't want Akumi to end up in the same situation, right Youta."

"Y-yeah, l-lets do that," stuttered Youta.

I feel like I should also investigate Youta but right now I have too many things going on so one thing at a time, "Alright, we will start the investigation today after class. Break." And with that the bell rings to signal the end of lunch period.

"How do you always know when it would wring. Even with my eyes to see through stuff sometimes I get the timing wrong," Akari said.

"With experience," I wink, "But time to go to class," we laugh then parted ways. Class goes like normal with nothing interesting. When class was over Youta and I met up with Akari then snuck around to Izuku's class as he was leaving.

"Ok so what do we do now," Youta asked.

"We follow," I said as I followed closely behind Izuku making sure he didn't notice.

We followed Izuku to our apartment waiting for him outside the building and a few minutes later he came back out, "What are you three doing," we heard a voice from behind us. We all turn around and it takes me a second to recognize who it was but it was Akari's sister looking at us menacingly.

"O-oh hey Onee-sama. We are just doing some investigating," said Akari.

"Investigating what now?"

"We are investigating, uh, a person in that building," I said quickly pointing to the building next to our apartment building.

"Right," she gives us a doubting look, "But who and why are you investigating them."

"Oh Akumi, Akari, Youta hey. What's up," we hear Izuku shout from a distance approaching us.

Great, we've been found. No wait, we can still save this since Izuku doesn't know yet. Just don't say anything to jeopardize the mission. I turned my attention away from Akari's sister and focused on Izuku. "Hey Izuku, we were just investigating someone."

"Don't go talking to someone else now. Who are you investigating," said Akari's sister.

"Oh. Hello Shimizu-san," Izuku said as he is now within distance to see all of us.

"Sorry it's top secret," I crossed my index fingers in front of my mouth.

"Yeah top secret," Akari joined in.

"What about you Youta," Shimizu-san said.

"Yeah, uh, top secret," Youta said.

"I like to stick around but I got somewhere I need to be," Izuku waved goodbye and started to jog off.

"Ok then. See you later, Izuku," I waved back.

"So why are you three following Izuku," said Shimizu-san.

I panic and look at Youta and Akari if they have anything. They looked back to me and from what I'm picking up from them I see that they also have nothing. Then I look back to Shimizu-san trying to brushing it off "We're not following Izuku." Crap I forgot she has a similar quirk to Akari so she could tell if I'm lying or not. I look back, Youta and Akari are smiling but I could feel a sweat drop coming from Youta.

Shimuzu-san sighed "Just don't get into too much trouble. Especially you Akari."

We sighed in relief. "Yes, Onee-sama," said Akari. We wait for Shimizu-san to walk to the apartment building before leaving.

"Ok, quick we need to catch up to Izuku," luckily he wasn't too far away so we continued following Izuku out into the beach area without him noticing. What we see as we are hiding behind a pile of trash is Izuku and this skinny guy with blond hair.

"Do you know who that person is," I whispered to Youta.

"Why are you asking me? No I don't know who that is," Youta whispered back.

"And before you ask no I also don't know who that is," whispered Akari.

Seeing this as an opportunity, since no one knows who that is, I get out of my hiding spot and say "So Izuku this is where you've been going to every day since I woke up," with my hands on my hips.

"Akumi, what are you doing," I hear Akair whisper.

"What! A-Akumi, what are you doing here," Izuku said, surprised while Youta facepalms.

"Well Izuku or should I say Deku. You have been sneaking out and coming back home late everyday so I tracked you down here with Akari and Youta."

"Hey don't just rat me out like that," Youta said as he also got out of the hiding spot.

"Well there's no point in hiding now," Akari also got out of the hiding spot.

"Akari, Youta, you guys are here too," Izuku said as Youta laughed with his hand behind his head.

"All Mi... I mean sensei what are we going to do about them," I hear Izuku say to the blond hair man.

"It's fine you can tell them what we are doing there's no harm in that," the man said.

"Ok then," Izuku walked to us and said, "let me explain."

(One Explanation Later)
What I understood from what he said was after the sludge incident he wanted to be stronger, strong enough that he could save me and become a great hero. That's why he has began training to get stronger and the man was his coach. And that his end goal is to clear the beach side before the U.A. entrance exams in 10 months.

"I see now ok why didn't you tell any of us about this," I asked.

"Uhh, well, I was just so caught up with training that I forgot to tell you guys," Izuku said.

"Yeah that is something you would do. So as punishment for forgetting let's make your training more of a challenge," I said.

"Whoa, I'm going to have to stop you there young lady. We can't have any extra things added on the training schedule," said Izuku's coach interrupts.

"No, I wasn't going to add anything to the schedule. To put it simply it's more of an incentive than anything. Izuku, if you can get this beach cleaned before the deadline of your 10 months then I will personally let you become my hero."

Izuku went silent for a second and smiled. "I'm already cleaning the beach right now. And I declare that I will be your hero."

"Also if you do fail I will stop you from becoming a hero myself, now are you going to accept or are you not. To become my hero again."

"Of course I will. It doesn't look like I have much choice if I want to become a hero. But why are you going to stop me from becoming a hero?"

"With that, the challenge is accepted. I shall take my leave. Come now, Akari, Youta, we have a long journey ahead of us, onwards," I don't answer Izuku and try my best to speak in Shakespearean as Youta just sighs and we leave.

"Don't take it too seriously Izuku. Akumi does mean one part but not the other one," said Akari and followed Youta and I out.

After we got a good distance away from Izuku, Youta said, "So Akumi are you satisfied now?"

"Yes. My little brother is growing up to become quite the independent man," I fake a cry.

"You say that like you're much older than him. Aren't you two twins," said Akari.

"Oh yeah, I guess I've never told you how I was adopted to the Midoriya family. Well it's a long story with a sick girl and a lot of sleeping."

I started to explain how I was adopted into the Midoriya family until in the middle of the story I saw Katsuki. I told Akari and Youta to go ahead without me but they refused saying I'm going to do something stupid again so I reluctantly let them tag along.

We caught up to Katsuki and I yelled out to him "Hey Katsuki it's been a while, how have you been."

"What do you want," Katsuki grunted.

"No need to be so grumpy Mr. Hero. Just came by to say thank you since I didn't get a chance to say it until now," I say with the most sincerity I could give.

"If that's all, get out of my sight. I only tried to save you because you saved me so I already paid back my debt," Katsuki grunted again and stomped off.

"Soooo. Do like him," Youta asked.

"And this is why I didn't want to bring you along," I punch Youta but missed.

"Whoa, no need to get so violent." Youta laughed.

"Stop that you two. And Akari, are you sure that was all you wanted to say to Bakugo," said Akari.

"Yeah. I think I got what I wanted to say. Why was there something else," I look towards Akari confused.

"Alright, if you say so," said Akari.

"Anyway let's continue my little story about the first years as an adopted child."

"No thanks I got to work on myself. If Izuku is working hard, I feel wrong for not working as hard as him," said Youta.

"Are you sure, we were just getting to the interesting part... Don't work yourself too hard now. What about you Akari."

"I still need to work on my studies since my quirk isn't battle oriented. So I guess for now we will have to listen to your story another time," Akari said.

"I can't be left in the dust in studies or strength but I'm not as smart as you or have a good quirk like Youta so I also need to do my best," I say.

"What are you saying? Your quirk is pretty versatile. My quirk has a big drawback," Youta sighed.

"Yeah, but when you do use it, it's so strong," I said.

"Whatever do you mean," Youta smiles, "But I think I should be going to go now. You two stay safe."

"Where are you going," I asked.

"Like I said, I feel wrong that Izuku is working so hard and I have it kind of easy. So I should go work hard."

"I feel like you had something planed exactly for this moment and now just spilling your beans because you have an excuse," I say.

"Hahaha. I'll see you two later then," Youta waved goodbye and left us alone.

"So should we head back home," I asked.

"Yeah," said Akari.
