It's now the final day of the beach cleaning challenge the day before the exam but now it's starting to look like Izuku is not going to get the challenge done which kind of makes me sad. That night he didn't come back home. I'm assuming he is spending the rest of this time cleaning. The next morning I woke up early but Izuku still wasn't home yet when I checked.

I knew where he would be so I got ready enough to go out and it takes a bit but I got there as fast as I could with my quirk and I could hear Izuku's yells not of shame but of one who has achieved something great. I see Izuku and his sensei as Izuku is about to fall so I activate my quirk to quickly catch him in the air bridal style before he hits the ground.

"Looks like our situation switched hasn't it, my hero," I smile at him as we land safely.

"A-Akumi what are you doing here," he says blushing as I put him back down on two feet.

"I'm here because you didn't return home last night so I got worried."

"I'm sorry for worrying you but look at the beach, it's completely cleaned," Izuku points towards the beach and like he said it was completely clean.

"What are you talking about, it's not clean," as I threw a single piece of paper out of my pocket onto the beach.

"What. Don't litter on the beach. I just got it cleaned," Izuku said franticly.

"Shut up and just pick it up. I'll be waiting for you," I said nervously as I used my quirk and rushed off back home. To get ready for the UA entrance exam.

(Third person)
Akumi had just dropped a piece of paper and left Izuku to pick it up. "What a strange sister you got there young Midoriya," All Might said as he walked up on Izuku as Akumi left quickly using her quirk.

"All Might, you were also here," Izuku said.

"So what are you waiting for, pick that paper up and see what she wrote."

"Ah yes. I almost forgot about that when you showed up," Izuku picked up the crumpled up ball of paper and opened it to read it out loud, "Congratulations Izuku for passing the trials to become my hero again. I will be waiting for you at the entrance of the U.A. exam building. PS you were always my hero, even if you didn't complete my challenge you are and will forever be my hero. From your quest giver sister Akumi Midoriya."

"Your sister must have a lot of expectations towards you if she is so adamant about you being her hero," All Might said.

"That's not it all All Might, it's that she says I saved her when we were younger, but I just couldn't see how I saved her. In truth back then it always seems like she saved me."

"Young Midoriya heroism comes in many different shapes and sizes. What you consider not heroic could be heroic to her," All Might said. "But enough of that. We only have a limited amount of time before the exam starts it seem your body is now ready to inherit my quirk,"

"Is this really alright All Might. I know I said I was going to become a hero but giving such a strong quirk to a quirk-less nobody like me makes me feel like it should have been given to someone else," Izuku said looking at is hands doubting himself.

"Young Midoriya it was your hard work not mine that gave you the body to inherit my quirk. Wither you doubt yourself now or later. You are the one I chose to inherit my quirk," All Might took a strand of hair off his head and said, "Now eat this."

(First person)
I got dressed for the exam and I am now waiting for Izuku at the UA exam building. A few minutes passed by and Izuku finally came. "Took you long enough," I said.

"Well getting ready took longer than expected and also thank you for your words of encouragement on the paper," Izuku said as I see he is blushing.

"Yeah no problems," I see Katsuki walking by. We gave each other the rival stare for a good second and he just walked away.

"What was that Akumi," Izuku asked.

"Oh nothing, just a bit of good rivalry between us three. Come on, let's go," I walk in front of Izuku. I take a few steps and turn around and see Izuku being lifted by a girl with a hand on him.

"I'm sorry. I used my quirk on you but I think you wouldn't mind since I caught you with it before you fell," Izuku was now jittery not able to say a word, "Man isn't this whole exam just so nerve racking. Welp see you during the exam," the girl smiled and walked off as Izuku got this face of euphoria on him.

"Izuku, what are you waiting for, come on or I'm not going to wait for you anymore," I say tapping my feet.

"Ah right sorry," He says as he looks to regain his composure.

We entered the building and got our ID and we sat next to Katsuki. In the building the Voice Hero: Present Mic was there at center stage with a big screen behind him. When it was time to begin Present Mic yelled out, "What's up UA candidates it's me your school DJ, come on and let me hear ya."

It was silent for a good second and then I shouted "WOOOH! PRESENT MIC!" To get a reaction.

After I said that it looks like I got the attention of everyone in the room I also hear some people laughing and a lot of whispers then I hear Present Mic say "Ahhh, it looks like we have a live one in the audience, thanks for the cheers. But let's skip right to the main show. Let's talk about how the practical exam is going to go down, ok."

Present Mic goes on to say like our application said, we will be out there conducting ten-minute mock battles in a super-hip urban setting. There are three types of villains in every battle center. We'll earn points based on their level of difficulty from one through three. Our goal in this trial is to use our quirk to raise our score by shredding these villains like a mid-song guitar solo. Also attacking other people is a no no.

And then a boy with glasses said "excuse me sir but I have a question?"

"Hit me," Present Mic said with spotlight now on the boy.

"On the printout you've listed four types of villains not three. With all due respect, if this is an error on official U.A. Materials it is shameful. We are exemplary students, we expect the best from Japan's most notable school, a mistake such as this, won't do." He paused for a moment and looked at my direction, "And you two up there the one with the unkempt hair has been muttering this entire time, stop that. If you can't take this seriously then leave you are distracting the rest of us and the one with black hair next to him you have actually distracted the rest of us with your yelling. If you think this test is just fun and games then leave with the one next to you."

"Sorry," Izuku said, covering his mouth stopping his muttering.

"I object to this allocation of I and this person next to me distracting the rest of us. If anyone is, it is you, the person with glasses in the spotlight," I say as I stand up.

"What," the person with glasses said shocked.

"Now now candidates, we should not fight, you'll waste all that energy before we even get started with the exam," Present Mic said.

I sat back down as I heard laughing from the people around and the person with glasses looked really annoyed.

"Going back to the question from examinee number seven, one, one, one, thanks for calling in with your request. The fourth villain type is worth zero points so it's just an obstacle we will be throwing your way, there is one in every battle center. Think of it as a hurdle you should try to avoid. It's not that it can't be defeated but there's kinda no point."

"Thank you very much and please continue," the boy with glasses said and sat back down giving me a glare before the spotlight turned off.

"Well that's all I got for you today. I'll sign off with a sample of our school's motto. As the great hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said... True heroism consists in being superior to the ills of life. Mhmm. You ready to go beyond, let's hear a plus ultra."

"PLUS ULTRA," again I'm the only one who yells to get peoples attention because this crowd is so unlively.

We start to move out to each of our battle centers. I wave Izuku goodbye and good luck and he does the same. I was put in center battle center D and I didn't see anyone I know there. But I could hear people whisper, "look it's that girl that was cheering earlier I wonder if she's all bark and no bite."

I didn't let that get to me and as I thought that the test was a go. I quickly activated my quirk to fly over the crowd in front of the entrance to the battle center and as I looked at them, some of them looked surprised. I fly in and I see a two point robot and use my quirk to accelerate my punch punching right through the two point robot face. I felt a bit of pain but quickly spread and released the pain out so it only felt like a sting for a second.

I knew I couldn't do too many of those punches and with a few more one and two point robots destroyed I started to see actual physical damage on my hand so now I switch strategy. I realize that they are robots, they have electricity in them to make them work so I see a three point robot and try to test to see if I can absorb the electricity from the already destroyed robots.

I've never tried storing electricity since I didn't want to get shocked but desperate times call for desperate measures. I absorb the electricity charge from the destroyed robot and it works, I'm now storing electricity. I turn towards the three point robot and release the electricity but as I do that the robot gets destroyed by someone else's quirk.

I didn't get to see who the person was because I was also shocked by the electricity and it hurts me badly. I was about to fall unconscious but I knew that if I passed out now I would not have enough points to get into UA. With all the will power I have I get this sudden burst of adrenaline and I'm now awake.

I saw another three point robot and used my quirk to absorb air and fired it at the robot but this time the stream of air went straight through the robot cutting the robot's top half clean off. I was dumbfounded with this new found power and adrenaline that I went on to destroy robot after robot mainly the two point robots.

After a little bit I heard a loud machine noise. I look to see what it is and notice that there was a huge robot bigger than the buildings walking towards the other contestants and them running away from it. I see on the robot it has a zero written on it. Considering I have about 20 or so points, I shouldn't be doing this but something is telling me to beat this thing.

I flew over to the giant zero point robot and when I got close it took a swing at me which I narrowly dodged. I then tried to shoot wind at it but it was not doing enough damage. But as I was fighting I noticed our fight was heading towards the other contestants. I didn't want to trouble them with this fight of mine so I started to try to shift the fight in a different direction.

I don't know why but as soon as I tried to change the direction of the fight the robot started to ignore me and go after the other contestant. I got in front of it again blasting air jets at its head but it would just continue ignoring me.

I knew that if I didn't deal with this thing someone might get hurt. But then it hit me there should be an off switch on this giant machine, but with the time limit I have it is going to take too long to find. Another idea would be to absorb all it's power but that is also going to be to long and dangerous for me. With no other quick or easy options there was only one thing I could think of. Hit it with a with everything I got.

I think about Izuku and what he would do in this situation and what I got from that was that he would do whatever it takes to blow this robot's head off. So I accumulate everything and anything I could absorb while being airborne to the max that I could take. I felt very displaced but I kept it in me and flew straight to the robot's head narrowly dodging each punch that was thrown my way releasing everything I had stored point blank in it's face.

After that show of power I was blasted back a bit and was now free falling. I see the robot's head was also shifted back a bit and the metal and wire connecting its head was exposed like it was ripped clean of. I was feeling the pain and the strain I put my body in but I still can't pass out now because I would probably die if I don't land correctly.

I tried to absorb air but I couldn't. Seeing that I couldn't even use my quirk right now again I said to myself "Sorry Izuku it looks like I might not be able to see you for a good time," I closed my eyes and braced for impact.

A little bit while falling I felt something within me, and as I opened my eyes I was in a completely dark area again and I saw a silhouette of what looked like to be Akumi. I blink and now I'm laying on the ground and hear an old lady's voice "Awake so soon after a fall like that, I assumed you would be unconscious for a day or so but you look completely fine."

"What happened? Is the exam still going on," I asked her.

"Well young lady the exam is over."

"So how long was I out for?"

"Just a few minutes after the exam ended."

I got up and most of the pain I felt was gone though it still hurts to move, "You're the one who healed me right Recovery Girl, thank you."

"No I didn't. When I got to you say for the tattered clothes, you looked completely fine. Why? Are you injured anywhere?"

"Oh really then no I feel ok," I tried absorbing air and it works, "I should be leaving now my brother should be waiting for me."

"Say, your brother wouldn't happen to be the boy with green messy hair in a blue track tracksuit in battle center B would he," Recovery Girl asked.

"Yeah, that sounds like him. Why did you ask, did he do something?"

"Oh no not at all it's just he also took down the zero point robot."

"What! He took down the zero point robot! How, it took everything I got just to take it down."

"Shouldn't you already know," She said in confusion.

"Oh right," I bow down to Recovery Girl, "Sorry for taking your time you must have other areas to go to. I will take my leave now," I leave to go find Izuku and ask him about how he defeated the zero point robot.

I walked out to see Izuku waiting for me. His tracksuit was also torn up, "hey Izuku did I take long," I shouted while waving my arms walking towards him.

"Akumi, no not at all I just got here."

"I see. Anyway Izuku I've heard from a certain someone you beat the zero point robot."

"How did you know that," Izuku said.

"So it was true. So Izuku, tell me, how did you beat it? Did you turn it off using that brain of yours for once. Or was it a type of gadget you made. No wait let me guess you made a plan and with the help of the other contestants you beat it."

Izuku went silent for a few seconds and said, "I punched it."

His answer was so simple and unbelievable that it has thoroughly stunned, amazed, and surprised me all at once, "you punched it?"

"I punched it," Izuku said.

"How, how did you manage to beat it with just a punch when it took me everything I have just to stop it," I said ecstatically, shaking him violently.

"Please stop shaking me and let me explain," Izuku said as I stop shaking Izuku, "I have a quirk now."

"WHAT," I yelled so loudly it felt like the world shook.

"I'll explain it to you when we get back home come on plus I don't even know if I'm going to get in or not," Izuku said as he looks down and I see him making a sad face.

"Hey sorry for yelling all of sudden. I'm sure you have your explanation for this. Let's go home, our journey has just begun," I say as I calm myself down and try to comfort him. "I'm sure we both did well on our test."

Izuku and I went home for the day. He explained that he has manifested his quirk during the entrance exam while trying to save a girl. I of course find this a load of bull but I wouldn't question it since even I didn't know how this world of quirks truly works. I don't care about it all right now I'm also thinking about if I passed the test or not since I already know Izuku should have passed.
