"Swalot, you're on call!" Keats exclaimed as he opened up his Pokéball, his large purple slime-like creature appearing from the burst of light.
"Swaaaa!" Swalot said as he locked eyes with Torterra and Turtonator.
"Come on out, Minior!" Anik shouted as she opened up a ball as well, her floating star-shaped rock Pokémon appearing in the air.
"Minnniii!" Minior said as it spun around.
"Good choicezzzz!" Rotom said from behind Keats and Anik. "A Poison type and a Flying type against a Grass type like Torterra is wise. And a Rock type like Minior gives them somewhat of an advantage against a Fire type like Turtonator." The phone Pokémon thought.
"You call those "good choices!?" Please, like they even stand a chance against my titanic Pokémon!" Bevin said as Anik and Keats looked at him.
"We might have one more advantage..." Anik whispered towards Keats.
"Huh?" Keats replied.
"You said his Torterra knows "Earthquake," right?" Anik questioned as Keats nodded in response. '"Earthquake" hits everyone on the field. Including his Turtonator, which is weak to Ground type moves." She explained as she pointed at Bevin's Pokémon.
"And Minior is a Flying type, which preventzzzz it from being hit." Rotom said, continuation the explanation as Bevin's eye twitched.
"Hate to admit it, but they're right... Doesn't mean I can't thrash their butts with other moves!" Bevin thought as he looked at Turtonator and Torterra. "Torterra, "Razor Leaf!"' He ordered as Torterra looked at Swalot and Minior.
"Tooooorrtt!" Torterra screamed as the tree on its back started to rustle as bladed leaves started to fly at the husky framed trainer and the astronomy enthusiasts Pokémon.
"I got it!" Anik shouted. "Minior, use "Swift!"' She ordered as Minior began to rotate at a faster pace.
"Minioooooooorr!" Minior exclaimed as a series of yellow star-like projectiles emerged from the Rock and Flying types body.
Colliding with one another, the bladed leaves from Torterra's tree and the star-shaped projectiles from Minior's spinning caused the two attacks to cancel each other out. Smiling, Keats and Anik looked up at Minior as the floating meteorite Pokémon hovered around in the air, impressed by its attack.
"I was a bit worried when you chose Minior since you didn't train it last night but I'm glad you proved me wrong!" Keats said as Anik's eyes were sparkling.
"Pokémon from outer space are so cool!" Anik shouted, fangirling over her Minior.
"Now it's my turn!" Keats said as he looked at Swalot. "Swalot, use "Body Slam!" Aim for Torterra!" He ordered towards his Poison type Pokémon.
"Swaaaa!" Swalot shouted as he proceeded to jump into the air, angling to slam the bottom of his body onto Torterra.
"Turtonator, "Shell Trap!"' Bevin said as Turtonator rushed in front of Torterra.
"Tonator!" Turtonator said as it turned around, its spiked shell facing towards Keats' Swalot.
With the bottom of his body landing against the spikes of the Fire and Dragon type Pokémon, a small explosion suddenly occurred as Swalot was sent flying backwards towards Keats and Anik's side of the battlefield, landing on his back. Smiling with a smug attitude, Bevin looked on as Keats and Anik made surprised expressions as Swalot got back up.
"Crap!" Keats exclaimed.
"That was "Zzzzhell Trap!"' Rotom shouted.
'"Zzzzhell Trap?" You mean "Shell Trap?"' Anik said with confusion.
"Ah, now you're starting to see the issues with Rotom's vocal static." Keats said as he casually pointed at Anik.
"Is now the time for this, zzzzt!?" Rotom screamed in anger. '"Shell Trap" is a Fire type move and the signature technique of Turtonator. It can block an attack and cause an explosion on impact." The phone Pokémon explained.
"So stick to long range attacks with Turtonator." Anik said as she looked at the evil grin on the face of Bevin's Turtonator. "Minior, use "Swift!"' She ordered as Minior proceeded to spin and fire off star-shaped projectiles once again.
"Turtonator, block it with "Fire Blast!"' Bevin said, commanding Turtonator as it began to breathe in.
"Turtonator!" Turtonator proceeded to huff and puff out a large burning symbol in the shape of a human body, colliding with the "Swift" projectiles as they failed to disrupt the Fire type attack.
"Ah!" Anik grunted in surprise.
"Swalot, use "Stockpile!" Then get in front to block!" Keats ordered quickly as Swalot proceeded to breathe in and inhale a large amount of air, his body glowing in response and raising his defenses.
Jumping in front of the "Fire Blast" attack, Swalot was engulfed in flames until the fire dissipated around his body. Covered in a few burn marks, Swalot glared towards his opponents as he was still standing from the attack.
"Now use "Swallow!"' Keats ordered as Swalot proceeded to breathe in once again and then swallowed the air in his mouth, the Poison type glowing once again but this time with his wounds disappearing from his body.
"Waaaaa!" Swalot exclaimed.
"Nice!" Anik said as she looked on, seeing that Swalot had healed itself.
"Turtonator! "Dragon Tail!"' Bevin ordered as Turtonators jagged tail proceeded to glow with a green tint.
'"Tackle!"' Anik shouted towards her Minior as the Rock and Flying type quickly dove in the direction of Turtonator.
"Nator!" Turtonator said as it swung its tail, smacking Minior with it and causing the outer layer of the meteorite Pokémon to start to crumble as it impacted with the sand on the beach.
"Minior..." Minior grunted as its shell was breaking.
"Oh no! Minior!" Keats shouted as Anik's Minior floated back into the air, its green inner body now exposed. "Recall it so it doesn't disintegrate!" He said towards Anik.
"It's okay." Anik said with a serious look in her eyes. "As long as I get it back in the ball within twenty-four hours from this moment, it'll be fine." She explained. "But now that it's shell is broken, it's defenses are weaker, and its offense has increased... Now it's a matter of just trying not to get hit." Anik thought with a bead of sweat coming down on the side of her face.
"Swalot, use "Stockpile" again!" Keats shouted towards his Poison type Pokémon as Swalot proceeded to inhale air and glowed to raise its defenses once more.
"These two are getting on my nerves..." Bevin thought as he looked towards Torterra. "Torterra, use "Frenzy Plant!"' He ordered as Torterra lifted up its front legs.
Slamming down its legs onto the sand, a series of massive grey vines had spread through the ground and proceeded to emerge from underneath Swalot. Sent flying through the air, the Poison type Pokémon landed on the beach with a hard thud from the impacting him at the bottom base of his body.
"Swalot!" Swalot said while on his back.
"Guh!" Keats grunted as he turned around and saw his Swalot on the ground, wincing in pain. "That was a Grass type move and it did that much to Swalot even with the boost?!" He thought in shock.
"Help Swalot up, I got this!" Anik said towards Keats as he nodded and ran towards Swalot, attempting to pull it back up. "Minior, use "Confuse Ray" on Turtonator!" She ordered towards her green Minior. "Hopefully we can make one of them confused since "Frenzy Plant" causes the Pokémon that uses it to be immobile for a period." Anik thought as she looked at Torterra, currently immobile from the aftereffect of "Frenzy Plant."
"Minior!" Minior said as its eyes glowed, a series of waves coming out of the meteorite Pokémon's body and connecting with Turtonator.
"Turton..." Turtonator muttered as the Fire and Dragon type Pokémon started to see stars and bird-like creatures in a circle over its head.
"Turtonator?!" Bevin said in surprise as he noticed his Turtonator was now confused.
"Keatzzzz, how's Swalot?!" Rotom said as it looked over at the husky framed trainer, his Swalot now back up.
"We're good!" Keats replied with a thumbs up as Swalot shuffled back over to the battlefield.
"Torterra still can't move and Turtonator is confused, we might have a chance now!" Anik thought as she looked on. "Minior, let's make use of your increased strength while your core is exposed! "Tackle" attack! Aim for Torterra!" She ordered.
"Minior!" Minior said as it proceeded to lunge at the Grass and Ground type turtle-like Pokémon.
"Terra!" Torterra grunted as Minior slammed its body against Torterra's skull.
"Minior!" Minior said as it hovered back to Keats and Anik's side of the battlefield.
"Grrrr..." Bevin growled as he noticed his Torterra was shaking its head to regain its composure as Turtonator was stumbling over itself.
"Wish that managed to knock out Torterra." Keats commented.
"It'd be a feat if it did." Anik replied.
"Turtonator, use "Fire Blast!" One more time!" Bevin shouted as he was starting to grow frustrated.
"Turtoooo..." Turtonator muttered before shaking its head, finally breaking its confusion. "Nator!" It exclaimed as it huffed and puffed and fired off another human shaped blast of fire.
"The confuzzzzion on Turtonator is gone!" Rotom exclaimed.
"Swalot, jump in front and "Stockpile" again!" Keats said as Swalot shuffled in front of the Fire type attack.
"Swaaaalot!" Swalot screamed as it inhaled air again and raised its defenses one more time.
Getting hit with the Fire type attack, Swalot was engulfed in flames a second time as Swalot was covered in burn marks once again. Looking on, Keats and Anik were relieved that Swalot was still standing until the Poison type Pokémon spontaneously combusted into flames around its body.
"Swalot!" Swalot grunted in pain.
"Swalot now has a burn, zzzzt!" Rotom exclaimed as Keats and Anik looked on.
"Oh no, not again!" Keats said as he recalled the last time one of his Pokémon had been afflicted with the burn status effect.
"This isn't good!" Anik said as she saw her partners Pokémon.
"For you!" Bevin said with an agitated smile. "Torterra, you should be able to move now! Use "Wood Hammer!"' He ordered as Torterra proceeded to rush at Swalot.
"With the burn effect and the damage from "Frenzy Plant," Swalot is good as knocked out unless I use "Swallow" again... But..." Keats thought, swallowing spit as he had to make a tough call. "Swalot, "Sludge Bomb!"' He ordered.
With its right front claw glowing with a bright green aura, Torterra proceeded to swing its claw at Swalot. Opening his mouth to attack, Swalot spat out a ball of sludge at Torterra as the large green turtle-like creature was hit in the face as Swalot was struck by the "Wood Hammer" attack.
"Swwaaaaa-lot..." Swalot said as he fell down, his eyes swirling to signify his unconscious state.
"Teeerraa!" Torterra exclaimed from being hit in the face with the Poison type attack. "Tort! Tort!" It said as it coughed up purple bubbles from its mouth.
"Torterra!" Bevin shouted in surprise.
'"Wood Hammer" does recoil damage bazzzzed on thirty-three percent of the total damage that it caused. And with Torterra being poisoned, let's just hope that did some decent damage." Rotom said as it looked on.
"Yes!" Keats said as he jumped in the air with arms raised. "Gambled and fate worked in my favor!" He shouted towards Anik and Rotom.
"Hurry up and recall Swalot!" Anik shouted.
"Oh right." Keats said with an embarrassed tone as he quickly pulled out Swalot's Pokéball and brought him back into the ball. "Porygon! You're on call!" He said as he opened up another Pokéball and out came his floating artificial Pokémon.
"Poooorrry." Porygon muttered as it floated next to Minior.
"Let's double attack!" Keats said towards Anik as she nodded.
"Minior!" Anik said towards her Pokémon.
"Porygon!" Keats said towards his Pokémon.
'"Tackle!"' Keats and Anik ordered as Porygon and the exposed core Minior lunged at Torterra as it continued to cough up bubbles of poison.
"Turtonator, defend Torterra again with "Shell Trap!"' Bevin ordered as Turtonator got in front of Torterra and turned around to have its shell facing the opposing Pokémon.
"Oh no!" Keats exclaimed as he just remembered what "Shell Trap" did.
"Stop!" Anik shouted to no avail.
Too late to stop their trajectory, Porygon and Minior impacted against the spikes on Turtonator's shell, causing a small explosion to occur once again. Sent flying backwards and landing in the sand, Minior and Porygon had swirling eyes and were now unconscious.
"Ah!" Anik exclaimed in surprise. "I thought we had a moment to take down one of them finally..." She said.
"Crap!" Keats shouted. "I forgot about the other one and that stupid blocker move!" He continued as he clutched at his head.
"Pathetic!" Bevin said as he caught Anik and Keats' attention. "You think Pokémon like those stand any chance of beating mine?! Let alone Imani and her Mega Sableye? In your dreams!" He said in a mocking tone.
'"Return."' Keats and Anik said as they recalled their Pokémon back into their balls.
"Least you're back in the ball..." Anik thought as she looked at Minior's Pokéball.
"What do you have left on you?" Keats whispered towards Anik.
"Cleffa and Kingler." Anik quietly replied as she took out last two remaining Pokéballs.
"Raichu is an Electric type so it's not gonna do much against Torterra, poisoned or not. That leaves me with Pineco, Surskit and Dragalge... Well... I wouldn't call this a "normal" battle soooo..." Keats thought as he pulled out one of his balls.
"Which one are you zzzzending out?" Rotom asked towards Keats.
"Old school strategy." Keats said with half-closed eyes as Anik raised an eyebrow and Rotom made a surprised expression.
"What does that mean?" Anik said as what Keats was referring to was unknown to her.
"It meanzzzz get down!" Rotom exclaimed as Keats opened up the Pokéball for his Bug type and called out Pineco.
"Pineco!" Pineco shouted as she landed on the sand.
"Pineco! "Explosion!"' Keats ordered as he grabbed Rotom, putting the phone Pokémon into his pocket before grabbing Anik by the forearm and pulling her away from the blast radius.
"What the?!" Bevin said in surprise, not expecting Keats to use "Explosion." "Turtonator, Torterra! Protect me!" He ordered as the two massive turtle-like Pokémon turned around to block the blast.
"Piiiiiiine-co!" Pineco said as she glowed before exploding.
A mushroom cloud of smoke forming on the beach, the blast covered over everyone on the battlefield as Anik and Keats were face first on the sand with the shockwave causing several people in the city to turn towards the direction of the beach. Getting back up, Anik looked over at her male companion as she took off her glasses for a moment to wipe her face of sand.
"Blegh! Pugh!" Anik muttered as she spat sand out of her mouth. "Ke-Keats?" She asked as Keats got up, on his hands and knees with a stone in his mouth. "Uhhh..." Anik said in confusion as she noticed Keats had a grey rock in his mouth that had a leaf-like marking on top of it.
"Oh god damn it, another one?!" Keats exclaimed after pulling the rock out of his mouth.
'"Another?"' Anik thought with confusion.
"Add that to the pile..." Keats said to himself as he put the rock in one of his messenger bags.
"Piiiiine... Coooo..." Pineco muttered with her eyes swirling, signifying her unconsciousness.
"Pineco, come on back." Keats said as he took out Pineco's Pokéball and recalled her.
"Let's hope that did some damage, zzzzt." Rotom commented as the smoke was settling.
Still standing was Bevin and his pair of large turtle-like Pokémon, turning back in the direction of Keats and Anik to face them. Making worried expressions, the pair looked on as Rotom looked at Turtonator and Torterra and noticed some bruises and marks on their bodies, signifying that they did take a modicum of damage from Pineco's "Explosion."
"Tort!" Torterra coughed as more poisonous bubbles came out of its mouth.
"If this was an official double battle with rules and stipulations, we wouldn't be able to just throw out all of our Pokémon like we can." Anik said towards Keats.
"Then let's be grateful this isn't a battle, it's a fight." Keats said as he pulled out another ball. "Dragalge, you're on call!" He exclaimed as he opened up the ball as Anik reached for Kingler's ball.
"Kingler, come on out!" Anik said as she opened up the Pokéball.
Emerging, Keats' Dragalge had appeared as he landed on the sand as Anik's Kingler joined in, standing next to it. Locking eyes with their opponents, Dragalge made a hesitant expression as Keats had noticed.
"Don't worry Dragalge, just a little more force and we'll be out of this mess!" Keats said as Dragalge looked back at him.
"Dragal." Dragalge muttered.
"Kikiki." Kingler said next to Dragalge as the Poison and Dragon type proceeded to hop to the side to get some distance from the Water type.
"Dragalge's reclusiveness is acting up..." Anik said as Keats shook his head.
"Thought with all the training and spending time with us he'd feel better about being around others, but I guess not." Keats thought. "Dragalge, use "Water Pulse!" Aim for Turtonator!" He ordered.
An orb of blue energy spawned in front of the sea dragon-like Pokémon as Dragalge proceeded to launch the ball in the direction of his Fire and Dragon type opponent. Splashing against the body of Turtonator, the large turtle Pokémon was now brought to its knees from the super effective attack.
"We're finally managing to get him on the ropes!" Keats exclaimed.
"I'm running out of options... No choice..." Bevin thought as he looked at the weakened states of his Pokémon. "Torterra!" He said as Torterra coughed up more bubbles from its poisoned state. '"Earthquake!"' Bevin ordered as Keats, Anik, Rotom and all of the other Pokémon looked at Bevin in surprise.
"But that will hit his partner!" Anik said loudly.
"And it will be zzzzuper effective!" Rotom said.
"Torteeeeeerraaaaa!" Torterra screamed as it raised its front legs and slammed them into the sand.
As the ground began to violently shake, vibrations of pain began to surge through Dragalge, Kingler and Turtonator's bodies as Anik and Keats started to lose their balance as well. With Kingler was still managing to stay standing, Dragalge fell on his belly with his eyes twinging from the sudden jolt of pain as Turtonator fell backwards, its eyes swirling into unconsciousness.
"Return." Bevin said with a frustrated tone as he recalled his Turtonator with Torterra coughing up more poisonous bubbles at the same time. "Torterra's almost down... I have to make the next "Earthquake" knock them out too..." He thought as he looked at his opponents.
"Why the heck did you do that?! That was one of your own Pokémon!" Keats questioned in surprise.
"It's called "strategy!"' Bevin replied in annoyance. "Torterra, use the last of your strength! "Earthquake!"' He shouted as Torterra prepared to use its powerful Ground type attack again.
"Crap!" Keats thought in fear of what's going to happen as Anik looked at Keats' injured Dragalge before turning towards her Kingler.
"Kingler, it's up to you!" Anik said towards her Water type Pokémon.
"Kikiki!" Kingler said with a nod.
'"Guillotine!"' Anik ordered as Kingler quickly leapt at Torterra.
In an attempt to use its devastatingly powerful Ground type move once again, Torterra lifted its body up and prepared to stomp the sand. Getting close in response, Kingler raised his massive right claw and proceeded to grab the massive turtle-like Pokémon by the head and neck before squeezing his claw.
"Terrraa- ra!" Torterra grunted from the feeling of Kingler's claw around its neck before the sudden crushing of its windpipe triggered the Grass and Ground type to faint, passing out and falling onto the ground as Anik and Keats winced, expecting a quake.
"No! Torterra!" Bevin exclaimed. "Wailord is still out in the ocean which means..." He thought as he realized he was out of Pokémon.
'"Oh thank goodness..."' Keats, Anik and Rotom thought in unified relief that there wasn't another quake.
'"Guillotine" izzzz a move with a low success rate but when it works, it's an instant knockout." Rotom explained as Keats and Anik recalled their Pokémon.
"We won!" Keats said towards Anik as he raised his hand for a high-five.
"Booyah!" Anik said as she high-fived Keats as he raised an eyebrow.
'"Booyah?" Did you seriously just say "booyah?"' Keats said as he begun to smirk and chuckle.
"What?! So I said "booyah," big whoop!" Anik said with a bothered expression.
"Pfffff!" Keats sputtered. "Bahahaha!" He guffawed as he pointed at Anik, the astronomy enthusiast blushing in embarrassment.
"Sh-shut up! Stop acting like a kid!" Anik said as she childishly flailed her arms.
"I don't have anything left to- screw it. I got my flute and I got my dignity, I'm out of here. Forget you, Imani!" Bevin thought as he looked at Keats, Rotom and Anik, not noticing him as he started to run away down the beach, leaving behind his unconscious Torterra.
"Bevin'zzzz getting away!" Rotom exclaimed as Keats and Anik suddenly noticed the flutist attempting to escape.
As he ran down the beach, Bevin looked back at the pair of trainers with a smile as he felt he was going to make it to safety. However, turning back in the direction of where he was running, he stopped when he noticed something standing in his way, a familiar white orangutan-like Pokémon holding a green fan in its right hand and sporting a purple cloak around its shoulders.
"Uru." Oranguru said as it locked eyes with the con artist flute player.
"An Oranguru?" Bevin said in confusion. "Out of the way!" He exclaimed as the Normal and Psychic type Pokémon looked at the flutist with an unimpressed expression on its face.
Raising its left hand, Oranguru started to spark up with heavy amounts of electricity. Pointing its finger at the sky, a large amount of lightning emerged from its body as Bevin was suddenly struck with a heavy blast.
"Gahghahgahgha!" Bevin exclaimed in pain as he fell forward, his body smoking from the Electric type attack.
"Oranguru juzzzzt used "Thunder!"' Rotom said as it noticed the attack.
"Why does every bizarre wild Pokémon I know has Electric type moves...?" Keats thought with exasperation as he and Anik ran up to Oranguru.
"Thank you for doing that for uzzzz, Oranguru." Rotom said towards the Normal and Psychic type Pokémon.
"Oranguru." Oranguru said with a nod and smile.
"We can't thank you enough." Anik said towards Oranguru. "What were you and Keats doing here last night?" She asked towards Oranguru.
"Orangurururu-rangrangru." Oranguru said as Anik looked at Rotom for a translation as Keats put his hand on his face.
"Oranguru said that it was coming up with a plan for Keats to beat Zzzzableye. While on the beach, it followed Keats as he looked for a Pyukumuku." Rotom translated.
"Still trying, huh?" Anik said with a wry smile towards her embarrassed friend.
"Yup..." Keats muttered in annoyance.
"I'm guessing zero luck zzzzince I didn't register a Pyukumuku at any point last night?" Rotom said towards Keats.
"Nope!" Keats shouted with an agitated tone. "Absolutely nothing! I searched all last night and found nothing but rocks!" He said as he reached into his messenger bags and pulled out a pile of stones that Anik and Rotom recognized.
In Keats' right hand, was two stones that were yellow and red that had a fire-like symbol in the center and an orange stone in the shape of the sun. In his left hand was a blueish-green stone with a star-like pattern in the middle and a grey stone with a green leaf in the middle.
"Fire Stones, a Dawn Stone... How many evolutionary zzzztonezzzz did you find?!" Rotom exclaimed in shock as Keats handed the stones in his hands to Anik before showing one of his messenger bags to Anik and Rotom.
"I found fifteen of these damn things!" Keats said angrily as his allies looked into his bag and saw that he had found over a dozen evolutionary stones of different colors. "All I wanted was a Pyukumuku but every time I stepped anywhere on this damn beach, I tripped and found one of these things! The hell is wrong with this place!?" He complained as he grabbed the stones out of Anik's hands and put them back in his bags.
"Oranguru. Rangu." Oranguru said with a raised eyebrow.
"Oranguru said it was surprised by the lack of luck Keatzzzz displayed with getting what he wanted. But was even more perplexed at the sheer number of evolutionary stones on thizzzz beach." Rotom said, translating for Oranguru.
"Zzzztill, it's an impressive feat." Rotom said towards Keats.
"Maybe I should give you back the Moon Stone you gave me for your budding collection." Anik said, jokingly.
"No thanks!" Keats exclaimed in annoyance as the others started to laugh.
"Orangururu." Oranguru said as Keats looked at the Pokemon.
"What now?" Keats said towards Rotom.
"It said that you zzzzhould be thankful for cleaning the beach, you've probably made the place more sanitary removing all the stones." Rotom said with a smug look on its screen.
"You're welcome, "Mr. PokéLifeguard" for all the community service I did..." Keats said sarcastically with squinted eyes towards Oranguru.
"Pfff." Anik sputtered as she thought Keats' comment was funny before looking down to see the still charred Bevin on the ground. "As much fun as this has been, what are we going to do about him?" She said as Keats, Rotom and Oranguru looked at Bevin.
"We zzzzhould probably extract information from him about Imani." Rotom suggested as Keats scratched at his beard.
"But how do we wake him up?" Keats questioned as Oranguru kneeled down.
Reaching around and frisking Bevin's body, Oranguru stopped as he noticed Bevin's Pokéballs, pulling out the one it guessed was connected to Torterra as it proceeded to press on it and recalled the Grass and Ground type that was still unconscious nearby. Putting the ball back on the ground, Oranguru reached around Bevin's body some more and found the con artists flute, grabbing it and getting back to its feet.
"Even knows how to use Pokéballs..." Keats thought in bewilderment after seeing the wild genius Pokémon recalling another Pokémon.
"That's Bevin's flute." Anik commented as Oranguru looked at the flute for a moment before placing its fan on the ground and then lifted the flute up to its mouth.
Breathing into it, Oranguru began to play the flute with beautiful sounds were emerging from its playing. Eyes-widening, Keats and Anik were impressed by the musical talents of Oranguru as a small crowd of people was forming on the beach.
"Hey look at this!" A random male stranger said.
"That Oranguru is playing a flute!" A small female child said as Keats, Rotom and Anik looked around at the small congregation listening to Oranguru's musical skill as Bevin started to stir.
"That's... My... Flute..." Bevin said in pain as he looked up at Oranguru playing his flute as Keats placed his hand on Bevin's shoulder, the flutist slowly turning towards Keats to see the threatening gaze from the husky framed trainer.
"Huh, guess it really does work to wake stuff up." Anik commented with a smirk and her arms folded.
"Let's have a chat." Keats said with an angry grin as Bevin started to sweat in nervousness.
Earthquake! Earthquake! Earth- oh... False alarm, the chili in my stomach was just causing me to rumble and I thought it was everything else. My bad. Keats and Anik double battled against Bevin's Torterra and Turtonator but the battle that waged on proved still challenging for Keats and Anik's Pokémon. With most of their teams downed, the duo had managed to defeat Bevin, who tried to flee until running into everyone's favorite orangutan-like Pokémon. Playing his flute without permission after knocking him down, Keats and Anik are now preparing for a final interrogation with Imani's lackey before they storm her houseboat. Will they get what they need out of him? Only time will tell... Next time on Wannabe!
