Within the cavern of Mt. Coronet that was radiating with blue energy and crackling white lightning bolts, the large rotund yellow Pokémon was still laughing over the defeated blue monster-like Pokémon. As the small shark-like Pokémon were checking on their blue monster-like ally, some of them ran up to confront the large yellow Pokémon.

"Gible! Gible!" One of the small shark-like Pokémon muttered in an angered tone.

"Gib!" Another small shark-like Pokémon said as the large rotund yellow Pokémon noticed them by its feet.

"Licky? Lickilickilickilicki!" The large rotund yellow Pokémon muttered with a confused voice before seemingly laughing off the smaller creatures.

From behind a nearby rock was Keats, sticking his head out slightly to see what happening as he listened in. For a brief moment, Keats looked back towards the entryway into the cavern where he fell from before turning his attention back towards the Pokémon.

"Okay, so those things keep saying "Gible" so that must be what they're called and the one that went for a ride through the air said "Garchomp." And the "Lit Piss" over there is a "Lickilicky."' Keats thought as he accurately guessed the names of the Pokémon in the cavern.

"Gible! Gible!" One of the Gible muttered in an angry tone as it got close to the Lickilicky and begun to whack its belly with its tiny stubby hands.

"Licky?" Lickilicky said with a raised eyebrow. "Licky." The yellow rotund Pokémon said as it stuck its tongue out and used it to smack the small Gible with a ton of force, sending it flying in the direction of where Keats was hiding.

"Gofgh!" Keats muttered in a low voice as he quickly got behind the rock to hide as the Gible impacted against it, leaving an indent. "What the heck was that?!" He thought with a worried tone as he lowered himself to a seated position.

"Gible?!" One of the Gible in front of the Lickilicky said in a shocked tone.

"Gible!" Another Gible said with a scared tone as it looked over at the Gible that was knocked out from being sent flying.

"Lickilicky?" Lickilicky said with a cocky smirk on its face as it looked down at the multiple smaller Pokémon.

Opening its mouth once again, Lickilicky stuck out its long tongue as it begun to charge up with pink energy. Lifting it high into the air, Lickilicky slammed its massive tongue down, landing it atop several of the Gible and the others being sent flying somewhat from the shockwave caused by the impact.

'"Giblr! Gible! Gible!"' The group of Gibles all exclaimed as Keats stuck his head out again.

"Oh wow, Lit Piss is a jerk..." Keats thought as watched the yellow Lickilicky attack the Gible. "This is bad, I need to- huh?" He said quietly to himself before overhearing more thunder from the ceiling of the cavern.

As the white lightning began to crackle once more, several bolts struck the ground as new Pokémon appeared from the blasts in the cavern. With a raised eyebrow, Keats looked on at a small group of creatures that looked like light green plant bulbs with white faces, oval eyes, three leaves on the top of their heads and bodies that consisted of five tiny stubs.

"Petilil?" One of the small bulb-like creatures said as they all looked around.

"Peti- lil!" Another bulb-like Pokémon said as it looked over at the yellow Lickilicky, looking down at them.

"Lickilicky?" Lickilicky said with a confused voice towards the small creatures. "...Licky." It said as a smile formed on its face.

"Petilil?!" One of the bulb-like Pokémon muttered as its eyes furrowed, the others of its kind all looking at the one Petilil with surprised eyes.

"Licky? Lickilickilickilicki!" Lickilicky said with a confusion until laughing at the bulb-like Pokémon.

"Aaaaand I'm assuming those are called "Petilil."' Keats thought as he looked at the new Pokémon that appeared from the lightning. "...Okay, from what I am getting, I am in one of those "space time wedgies" things that Ambrose mentioned. That means all of these Pokémon are time-... Time travelers..." He thought as he shifted his attention towards the yellow Lickilicky.

"Lickilicky." Lickilicky said as it waved its arm again, brushing off the Petilil as all but one of the Petilil started hopping backward to make distance.

"Petililil!" The lone Petilil muttered in an offended tone at Lickilicky as Lickilicky looked down at it with a sense of superiority.

"Lickilicky-licklick." Lickilicky said while showing its back towards the Petilil and walking a few feet away from it, Keats briefly pulling out Rotom's phone body and then putting it back in his pocket.

"...Man, I want to turn on Rotom to understand what they're saying but I don't got time for this." Keats thought as he looked on, still in hiding.

Glancing over at the knocked out Gibles, Keats turned his attention towards the scared Petilils with the one of its kind still glaring at the yellow Lickilicky. Lickilicky, looking around, suddenly tilted its eyes upward at the entryway Keats fell through originally to enter the cavern, smiling at the sight of it.

"Lickilicky." Lickilicky said as it started walking in the direction of the exit to the cavern.

"...Oh crap, it's heading this way!" Keats thought nervously as he was still hiding behind the rock, hearing Lickilickys approaching footsteps.

"Petilil-lililpet!" The lone Petilil exclaimed as its body started to glow with a green aura.

Emerging from Petilils small glowing body was a small laser of a green color, hitting Lickilicky in the back of the head. Stumbling slightly forward, a small amount of green energy exited out of Lickilicky's body and went into Petilil.

"Tough little thing..." Keats mentally remarked as he stuck his head out a third time, watching what just happened.

"...Lickilicky?" Lickilicky said with an agitated tone as it turned back in Petilils direction, looking down at it again.

'"Petililililil!"' The other Petilil muttered in scared and surprised voices.

"Liiiicki!" Lickilicky said as it made a fist with its right hand, white glowing energy forming around it as the Petilil that attacked it looked up with a face full of anticipation.

Expecting its attack, the Petilil started to shuffle away to dodge but in response to this, Lickilicky jumped in front of it, halting its attempt to dodge. Cocking its arm back, Lickilicky punched Petilil, sending it flying into a cave column, just like the nearby unconscious Garchomp and some of the Gible still struggling to get up.

"Guh..." Keats muttered quietly to himself as he watched Petilil fall on its body after impacting against the column. "That had to hurt... Got to respect the moxie though... Kinda reminds me of Pineco..." He thought as he looked over at Lickilicky.

"Lickilickilicky!" Lickilicky laughed with the same boisterous attitude it had before Petilil attacked it.

"This... Doesn't concern me... Not my problem what time travelers have to do with- huh?" Keats thought as he looked away towards the high entryway out of the cavern until more white lightning begun to strike the ground, more Pokémon from the past of Sinnoh appearing.

Keats looked on as a grey rhinoceros-like creature standing on its hindlegs and its horn similar to a drill had appeared from thin air. Growling loudly, the noise prompted Lickilicky to turn its head in the direction of the new Pokémon that was familiar to Keats.

"Now a Rhydon appears?... Man, Sinnoh is crazy as hell..." Keats thought with his eyes widening, surprised by the recognizable Pokémons sudden arrival.

"Rhhhyy!" The wild Rhydon screamed as it looked around before locking eyes with Lickilicky. "Rhydon-don!" It said while pointing at Lickilicky.

"Lickilicky?" Lickilicky said with a confused yet nonchalant attitude. "...Licky..." It continued as it stuck its tongue out.

"Do they know each other?... What, did Lickilicky cover all the rocks in saliva, and it couldn't eat them cause they're wet?" Keats thought as he looked at the Rhydon.

"Rhydon!" Rhydon exclaimed as it rushed at Lickilicky, wind forming around its body.

With its tongue glowing pink once again, Lickilicky swung it at Rhydon but the Rock and Ground type ducked the attack and ran into Lickilicky, knocking into it with a shoulder tackle. Sent backwards, Lickilicky tumbled into the small group of Petilil, knocking them over as they hit the ground.

'"Petilil!"' The group of Petilil screamed in pain as they went flying in different directions as Lickilicky was now on its back.

"Licky!" Lickilicky grunted with an agitated look in its eyes as it looked over at one of the knocked down Petilil. "Licky!" It muttered as it reached its tongue out and wrapped it around one of the Petilil, raising it overhead and throwing it at the Rhydon.

"Petillllll!" Petilil exclaimed as it was heading straight for Rhydon.

"Rhydon!" Rhydon muttered as it was hit it in the face with the Petilil's small body, causing it step back slightly.

"That was a dirty move..." Keats thought as he watched the fight unfold.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky muttered as it quickly got back to its feet and charged up pink energy in its tongue once more.

"Rhy?" Rhydon said as it saw Lickilicky swing its tongue at it again, striking it in the face and knocked it onto its side. "Don!" It muttered in pain as it clutched at its head from the hard smack.

"Licki! Licki! Licki!" Lickilicky muttered in frustration as it took its energy glowing tongue and started to strike the wild Rhydon while it was down, multiple times in its side.

"Rhy! Don!" Rhydon exclaimed.

Shifting itself back up, the Petilil that confronted Lickilicky from before looked at the large and rotund Pokémon beating down the Rhydon. Angered by the sight of this, Petilil begun to shuffle back in the direction of Lickilicky.

"Doesn't involve me... Just need to get out of here..." Keats thought as he looked once again at the exit to the cavern.

Tiptoeing back to make distance from all the knocked over Pokémon and the ones that were confronting each other, Keats reached the wall that was below the exit. Examining the wall, Keats realized he was going to have to climb to escape the cavern as he started to place his hands and feet in small indentations.

"Just gotta climb up." Keats thought as he began to scale the wall.

Petilil, shuffling over to several feet away from Lickilicky, charged up with a green aura once more as another laser beam attack hit Lickilicky from behind once again. With energy being removed from Lickilicky's body and entering into Petilil, healing it, the large rotund Pokémon stopped hitting Rhydon for a moment and turned its attention back to the small bulb-like Pokémon.

"Lil-lil!" Petilil shouted in a confrontational manner.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky screamed, causing Keats to turn his head back in the direction of the fight between the wild Pokémon whilst clinging to the wall.

"It's still wanting to pick a bone with that thing?" Keats thought, noticing the small green Pokémon still trying to attack Lickilicky before getting back to climbing.

"Licky!" Lickilicky screamed as it begun to stomp its feet repeatedly.

After stomping its feet multiple times, several rocks from the ground went flying like projectiles in multiple directions within the cavern. A number of them hitting the Gible and unconscious Garchomp, some impacting on the downed Petilil and some hitting the lone Rhydon. Lastly, a few of the stone projectiles went flying in the direction of Keats with him noticing them heading straight for him, the husky framed trainer loosened his grip on the wall and jumped back down to the ground, tripping and falling onto his rear and side.

"Orguh!" Keats grunted from the rough landing. "Ow..." He said quietly as he looked over at Lickilicky, looming over the lone Petilil.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky shouted as it charged up white energy into its hand again.

Striking Petilil on the top of its body, smoke formed as Keats looked on, seeing Petilil face down in a small crater with cracks in the ground. Biting his lip, Keats winced as he saw Petilil still trying to get back to an upright position to continue to fight.

"...Still?" Keats thought, mentally remarking about the fortitude of the small bulb-like Pokémon.

"Lil... Peti..." Petilil said in a troubled voice as Lickilicky smiled with maliciousness.

"Lickilicky..." Lickilicky said as it begun to walk away from the piles of Pokémon it had knocked out on its own. "Lickilickilicki!" It laughed as it looked around at its handiwork.

"Petilil... Peti!" Petilili exclaimed as it glowed with green energy once again, firing another laser beam and taking energy from Lickilicky.

"...Licky?" Lickilicky muttered as it was growing fed up with Petilil's persistent attempts to fight it.

"...Oh no... It's going to hit it again... But I shouldn't get involved, it's not my... My fight..." Keats thought, growing even more with concern as he reached into his pocket, taking out one of the Pokéballs containing one of his Pokémon. "...I..." He thought as he looked at the ball before swallowing spit.

"Licki!" Lickilicky exclaimed as it charged up pink energy in its tongue, ready to attack Petilil again.

"Petilil!" Petilil muttered in a defensive manner as it braced for impact.

"Stunky, you're on call!" Keats exclaimed as he opened up the ball for his Poison and Dark type Pokémon, emerging from the light.

"Stunky!" Stunky said as he landed on the ground, the noise he made prompting Lickilicky and Petilil to turn in the direction of Keats and his Pokémon.

'"Flamethrower!"' Keats ordered as Stunky opened his mouth and a torrent of fire emerged, heading in the direction of Lickilicky.

"Licki!?" Lickilicky exclaimed in surprise as it put its hands up to block the flames, its body covered in fire for a moment as it flailed around. "Lickilickilicky!" It continued as it brushed off the fire.

"I gotcha!" Keats said as he ran in the direction of Petilil, picking it up and running back in the direction of Stunky.

"Stunktunk!" Stunky said as Keats held Petilil in his arms.

"Nice job Stunky!" Keats exclaimed as Petilil looked at Keats. "Oh uh, hi. I'm Keats." He said as he looked at the Pokémon in his arms, introducing himself in an awkward manner. "I'm from the present... Or in your case, the future. This won't cause a paradox, will it?" Keats asked, unsure what to think while holding a Pokémon from the distant past.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky exclaimed in anger as it looked at Keats.

"...Uh-oh..." Keats muttered as he looked at Lickilicky before placing Petilil on the ground behind him. "Stay here. I got no idea if this is going to work out well." He said with a nervous tone as the wild Petilil looked up at him. "Stunky, use "Flamethrower" again!" Keats instructed.

"Stunky!" Stunky said as he fired off another torrent of fire at the rotund yellow Pokémon.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky exclaimed as it stuck its tongue out.

As the fire approached, Lickilicky proceeded to spin its tongue like a propeller as the "Flamethrower" attack collided with it, dissipating without any notable damage. Shifting its head upward, Lickilicky continued to use its tongue as a propeller as it suddenly began to hover above the ground.

"Stunky?!" Stunky muttered in surprise.

"Huh?!" Keats said with confusion at the sight of Lickilicky now flying above everybody with its tongue moving like the top blades of a helicopter. "If this wasn't being done by a strange fat monster of a Pokémon, this would be so cool... But in this context, it's just terrifying." He thought.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky shouted as it started to increase the intensity of the spinning of its tongue.

From the force of the rotation, a harsh wind began to kick up around the cavern as a twister of sand begun to spread around everyone as Keats, Stunky and Petilil all covered themselves to block the dirt from hitting them.

"Ow! Ow!" Keats exclaimed as he had his arms up. "This is "Sandstorm!" I recognize this from when I looked up those super annoying moves! But this means the longer this wind rages, the more Stunky will get smacked by the clumps and take damage!" He thought.

"Stunky!" Stunky said as a bit of dirt smacked him.

"Licki!" Lickilicky said as it stopped hovering through the air and landed back on the ground. "Lickilicky!" It said with a malicious smile as it charged up pink energy in its tongue.

Stretching it at Stunky, who was distracted by the "Sandstorm," Lickilicky proceeded to slam Stunky down with its tongue, knocking him onto his belly. As Stunky looked at Lickilicky as it pulled back its tongue, the large yellow Pokémon proceeded to stomp its feet once more, readying the attack from before that fired off stone projectiles everywhere.

"Oh no!" Keats muttered as he reached down and picked up Petilil once again before running over and grabbing Stunky.

"Licki!" Lickilicky exclaimed as it slammed its feet down and fired stone projectiles in different directions.

In response, Keats ran towards a nearby boulder to use for cover, running behind it with Petilil and Stunky as the projectiles collided with it. Seeing where they ran off to, Lickilicky charged up white energy into its right fist once again and ran at the boulder, punching it into tiny pieces as the force from the strike knocked everyone over.

"Guah!" Keats muttered as he landed on the ground.

"Lil!" Petilil grunted.

"Stunky!" Stunky said as he slid along the ground.

"Liiiccckkkky!" Lickilicky screamed with an evil smile on its face as the "Sandstorm" continued to rage.

"Damn sand blinding me- wait! We can fight that way too!" Keats thought until an idea formed in his head. "Stunky, use "Smokescreen!"' He shouted.

"Stunk-tunk!" Stunky exclaimed as he opened his mouth and a black mass of smoke emerged.

Spreading around Lickilicky and affecting its sight and accuracy as it couldn't see anything, Keats grabbed Stunky and Petilil once again to get distance from the rampaging Normal type Pokémon, being careful as to not trip over one of the unconscious Gible. Placing down Stunky and Petilil in front of him, Keats locked eyes with the big and aggravated rotund Pokémon as the "Smokescreen" dissipated.

"Stttuuuunk..." Stunky muttered in a frustrated tone as the sight of Lickilicky, its eyes beginning to glow red.

"Whoa, what the?!" Keats said, shocked upon suddenly seeing Lickilicky's glowing eyes.

"Liiiiickkkyy!" Lickilicky screamed a second time.

"Petilil!" Petilil said with a surprised voice.

"Don't think you were expecting that either, huh?!" Keats said as he noticed Petilil backing up slightly near his leg. '"Lit Piss is even more dangerous than I thought... We can't take it head on..." He thought, acknowledging the troubling circumstances him and the Pokémon were trapped in. "Stunky, we can't fight it head-on! We have to make a break for it!" Keats said towards the purple skunk-like Pokémon.

"Stunky?!" Stunky exclaimed as he looked back at Keats. "Stunkytunk-tunk!" He continued as Keats locked eyes with Stunky.

"I know you want to fight but we're not going to win with our current power-" Keats said with a tone of concern until locking eyes with Stunky, seeing the seriousness in his eyes.

Suddenly, in a moment of reflection, Keats remembered the events of the PokéPotluck as the look in Stunky's eyes reminded him of the same eyes Pineco gave him during the battle with Carter and Marie's Lopunny when she was brainwashed. Looking at the unconscious Pokémon that covered the battlefield amidst the copious amounts of sand flying everywhere, Keats looked over at Petilil as the small bulb-like Pokémon made serious eyes as well, shuffling forward to be standing side-by-side with Stunky as they both were now facing the direction of Lickilicky.

"...Okay..." Keats said quietly to himself as he placed both of his hands over his face and hunched over, this action causing Petilil and Stunky to look back at him, the former making a confused expression. "Okay! Let's do this!" He exclaimed as he quickly removed his hands and straightened his back. "Petilil, I have to ask you something." Keats asked towards the bulb-like Pokémon.

"Petil?" Petilil said with a questioning tone.

"Rough guess, she's a Grass type..." Keats thought. "Do you know "Leech Seed?"' He asked as Petilil's eyes widened.

"Petil-lil!" Petilil said with a nod, confirming she knows the move.

"Perfect!" Keats said with a smile. "Stunky, get ready to use "Toxic!" If we can poison it and stick "Leech Seed" on it! It'll eventually pass out the longer we survive!" He said, revealing his strategy as the two Pokémon nodded.

"Lickilicky!" Lickilicky screamed as it started stomping to use its stone projectile attack again.

"Everyone, dodge!" Keats shouted as Lickilicky fired stone projectiles everywhere, Keats ducking out of the way and Stunk and Petilil also moving avoid being hit.

Facing Lickilicky, Stunky opened up his mouth and spewed out a stream of purple fluid at Lickilicky, the large rotund Pokémon with glowing red eyes getting hit in the face by the fluid. As Lickilicky was distracted by the "Toxic" attack, Petilil begun to charge up with green energy and a seed popped out from the leaves on its head, landing on the curl on Lickilicky's head and exploding into vines. covering over the rampaging Pokémon.

"Lickilicky- lick!" Lickilicky exclaimed as its face turned sickly from "Toxic," purple bubbles spewing out of its mouth to signifying its poisoned state. "Lickilick!" It shouted as the vines around its body suddenly zapped it, absorbing energy out of it and the energy transferring into Petilil, healing some of the wounds it had sustained from the various attacks it suffered.

"Yes!" Keats said with a sense of accomplishment. "Stunky! While it's weakened, use "Smokescreen!"' He ordered as Stunky opened his mouth, expelling black smoke again.

Coating Lickilicky in smoke to lower its accuracy again, Lickilicky swung its arms with the vines around its body and spewing purple bubbles from its mouth. With anger in its glowing red eyes, Lickilicky stretched its tongue, covered once more with pink energy, to attack the Pokémon near Keats.

"Ah!" Keats grunted.

"Petilil!" Petilil exclaimed as it braced for impact from the attack.

"Stunk- tunk!" Stunky muttered as it jumped in front of Petilil to protect it, struck by the glowing tongue as he careened backwards into Petilil, knocking the both of them over.

"Guys!" Keats said as he looked down at the knocked over Pokémon. "Still managed to hit even with the lowered accuracy?!" He thought.

"Licccckkkiii!" Lickilicky screamed in anger as it jumped out of the smoke, lunging at the group with a glowing white fist. "Lick!" It shouted as it slammed its fist into the ground, a shockwave occurring from the impact that sent Keats, Stunky and Petilil flying back a few feet.

"Ahhh- ugh!" Keats exclaimed as he landed on the ground with his Pokémon allies joining him on their sides.

"Stuuuunk..." Stunky muttered in pain.

"Liiiiiiil..." Petilil said in similar suffering.

Standing over everyone, Lickilicky coughed up more bubbles from its poisoned state as it reached around its body to remove the seed that was sapping the energy from it. Sticking out its tongue, Lickilicky used it to reach upwards towards the curl on its head and removed the "Leech Seed," throwing it and the vines around its body away onto the ground. The sandstorm caused by the move of the same name disappearing at the same time.

"Licki- lick!" Lickilicky muttered until coughing out more bubbles.

Looking up at Lickilicky from the ground, Keats made a scared expression as he didn't know what to do, Stunky noticing this as he shifted his head at Petilil, seeing the exact same kind of face. Furrowing his brows, Stunky got back to his feet as he glared upward at Lickilicky and then his body started to glow a bright white.

"Stttuuuunnnnk!" Stunky screamed as everyone turned their attention towards the skunk-like Pokémon.

"Stunky?!" Keats said as he looked at his Poison and Dark type Pokémon. "Wait... This looks familiar!" He thought, recognizing what was happening to Stunky.

"Lil?!" Petilil muttered in similar confusion.

Growing in size, Stunky's body began to change as the whiskers on his face vanished and had been replaced with purple tufts of fur on the sides of his face. His legs becoming tan, his underside now developing a spiky pattern and his nose increasing in size, the tail on his body now increased to the point of it now sitting on top of his head and back.

"Skuntank!" The new form of Stunky shouted as Lickilicky looked down at the new form of Keats' Pokémon.

"Licky?!" Lickilicky muttered in surprise.

"Stunky evolved into a... "Skuntank," I think?" Keats said, slightly unsure if that's the name of Skuntank. "Wait, now you're stronger now! Quick, use "Flamethrower!"' He shouted as he noticed the evolution caused a distraction.

Opening his mouth, Skuntank breathed a torrent of fire out of its mouth, coating Lickilicky in flame once again as it stumbled backwards. Grabbing Petilil, Keats picked up the small bulb-like Pokémon and held it in his arms as he stood behind Skuntank.

"Skuntaaaaaank!" Skuntank shouted as Lickilicky tried to fan away the flames with its arms until using its tongue to lick off the fire, the saliva from its tongue putting out the flames but now suffering from more damage.

"Come on! We're ready for round two!" Keats exclaimed towards the rampaging Lickilicky as the red eyes it had disappeared, a confrontational look appearing on its face as it looked at Keats and then at Skuntank and then at the glare it was getting from Petilil in Keats' arms.

"Liiiiiiicky... Lick!" Lickilicky muttered as it stuck its tongue out before more poisonous bubbles emerged from its mouth. "Licky!" It screamed out as it tilted its head back and begun to spin its tongue like a propeller once more.

Dirt kicking up again, a whirlwind of sand occurred for a second time as Keats, Skuntank and Petilil shielded themselves as their vision was obscured.

"Using "Sandstorm" again?" Keats thought with his arm covering his face.

Suddenly, to the surprise of everyone, the whirlwind slowly dissipated as the yellow and rotund Pokémon was no longer around, disappearing from everyone's line of sight. Cautiously, Keats put Petilil down as he, his newly evolved Skuntank and the wild bulb-like Pokémon looked around for any signs of Lickilicky.

"Holy Miltanks... I think we scared it off..." Keats said as he looked upward and noticed the blue energy and white lightning bolts disappeared, failing to find the dangerous Normal type. "Even the room isn't acting up anymore." He thought.

"Skuntank!" Skuntank said with a happy tone as he looked over at Keats.

"We did it! We survived the "Lit Piss!"' Keats said with a triumphant voice. "And look at you, all big and-... Smelly." He said as he bent forward slightly, praising his newly evolved Pokémon and getting a whiff of his strong stench. "And somehow, you smell even worse than you did before!" Keats screamed in shock as he tightened his nostrils.

"Skuntank!" Skuntank said with a nod, welcoming his new foul odor.

"Petililililil!" Petilil said while clapping two of its tiny nubs.

"And you did a great job too." Keats said, praising the bulb-like Pokémon. "If it wasn't for this thing standing up to "Lit Piss," I don't think I would have stepped in to help... Huh... There was that moment there..." He said, acknowledging his prior hesitation.

"Petilil!" Petilil said with a happy voice.

"Skuntank?" Skuntank said as he looked around.

"What's up?" Keats said as he noticed Skuntank looking around.

"Tankskunt-skuntank." Skuntank said as he lifted his left paw and pointed at its head.

"...Oh, are you referring to the others?" Keats said, figuring out what Skuntank was asking as the Poison and Dark type nodded. "They're... Oh yeah." He said as he pointed behind him and then realized that the doorway into the cavern was still someways up the wall he was starting to climb earlier. "Don't know if Porygon can make this easy for me and just lift my dumb ass up there..." Keats thought as he looked up at the exit.

"Skuntank." Skuntank said.

"Yeah, I'll show you off you to the others in a minute." Keat said as he reached into pocket and pulled out Skuntank's Pokéball, recalling him inside. "Okay, let's start climbing..." He said to himself as he walked towards the wall, Petilil watching on.

"Lillil!" Petilil said as Keats stopped walking, turning back to look at it. "Petilil!" It continued to speak as Keats raised an eyebrow.

"You want something?" Keats questioned as Petilil nodded.

"Petilil!" Petilil said as it raised two of its small nubs and pointed at its head. "Lilil!" It said.

"...Uhhhh... I don't speak Pokémon very-" Keats said until stopping and staring at the small bulb-like Pokémon and then at the different unconscious Pokémon that were around them. "Out of all the Pokémon here, this Petilil is the only one standing on its own two... Whatever's..." He thought as he opened his mouth to speak. "Hey... Awhile back, I caught a Pokémon that didn't really care about me after I caught it and after that, I caught one that liked to fight like you, and it wasn't willing to do anything but that." Keats said.

"Petilil..." Petilil said as it listened to what he said.

"...I don't know if this will end the same way but... You want to come with me?" Keats questioned as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a Pokéball. "I mean... You have your friends over there and-" He continued until Petilil cut him off.

"Petilil!" Petilil said with a nod.

"Wow, no love lost there!" Keats thought with a smirk on his face, trying to hide the fact he wanted to chuckle.

With a small smile on his face, Keats lightly tossed the ball towards Petilil as it shuffled forward to make sure the ball landed on it. Digitizing into energy, Petilil went inside the ball as it shook three times before the noise signifying a capture went off.

"Huh, maybe I am getting better at understanding Pokémon." Keats thought as he walked over and picked up the ball containing his newly caught Petilil. "...Well, now I have a bigger issue." He thought as he turned around and realized he still had to climb. "Uggghhhh..." Keats muttered out loud in frustration.

Finally managing to climb up the wall, Keats reached the pathway back to his group as he clutched at his back, exhausted as he walked in the direction of where they were. As they all sat on their sleeping bags, Tamara suddenly got to her feet as she sensed Keats returning to the group, Anik and Ambrose looking at him as they noticed him approaching.

"Keats!" Tamara said with a tone of relief as she sensed him nearby.

"Heyo." Keats said with a smirk.

"Where did you run off to all of a sudden?" Anik asked out of concern. "Is that a smile on his face?" She thought as she spotted a change in his attitude.

"Hey! I can sense you're not depressed anymore!" Tamara said with a chipper tone.

"I'll tell you what I am and that is pooped... Haaaaaa..." Keats said with a yawn before reaching into his pocket and pulling out one of his Pokéballs. "Hey, mind sending back Cloyster for me?" He said towards Anik as he lightly tossed the ball to her.

"You made a new capture too?" Ambrose questioned as Anik caught the ball in her hands.

"Oh! What'cha get? What'cha get?" Tamara said with an interested tone.

"I'll tell you later but first things first. Anik?" Keats said towards the blind psychic girl before shifting his head towards the astronomy enthusiast.

"Hmm?" Anik said as she raised an eyebrow. "He seems tired but also less bothered... Something good must have happened." She thought as she looked at him.

"Can I ask for another favor on top of sending back the ball?" Keats asked towards Anik.

"Sure, what?" Anik said as Keats dropped to his knees.

To the surprise of everyone in the group as Tamara sensed Keats' action and Ambrose was bewildered by his sudden behavior, Keats laid his head down on the lap of Anik, using it as a pillow for his head as he laid on his side. Her mouth agape, Anik blushed in embarrassment as she looked down at Keats, his eyes closed and yawning loudly again.

"Wha-wha!?" Anik stammered in shock. "What the heck?!" She thought with her hands raised slightly, unsure how to act.

"Haaaaaaa... This feels nice..." Keats said as he turned over, now facing upwards with his eyes closed.

"Uhhhh..." Ambrose muttered, not particularly sure what to make of Keats' usage of Anik's lap as a place to lay his head.

"Ooohhh." Tamara muttered with a smile and a hand over her mouth as she sensed what was happening.

"What exactly happened while you were gone?" Ambrose questioned as Keats turned his head slightly in Ambrose' direction.

"I fought and scared off the "Lit Piss."' Keats said with a casual tone as everyone just made bewildered expressions, not sure what he meant.

"Well... He's acting the way he normally acts again..." Anik thought as she looked down at him, making a wry smile. "You-you know this is really awkward for me, right?" She asked towards Keats.

"Don't worry, I'll rest facing upwards, so you won't get drool on your long skirt." Keats said as he looked up at Anik.

"Thanks for the concern for my clothes but that's not the issue here..." Anik thought, still embarrassed until Ambrose pulled out his phone.

"It's close to nine o'clock. If we get a move on now, we can probably make it out of the mountain by sunrise." Ambrose said, making a suggestion as he stood up.

"You sure?" Tamara asked towards him.

"So long as we don't make any more stops like we've been-" Ambrose said until he overheard snoring coming from the direction of Anik.

Fully asleep on Anik's lap with his mouth open and drooling slightly was Keats as the astronomy enthusiast looked down with a blush still on her face. Sighing with not much ability to protest, Anik placed one hand on the top of Keats' head and the other on his upper chest, brushing his hair lightly with her hand.

"So much for not getting drool on me..." Anik thought with a wry smile as she looked down at Keats' sleeping face.

"Hehehe." Tamara giggled in response.

"...I'll give him thirty minutes." Ambrose said with a headshake.

"Whatever happened, he's not as upset as he was earlier today. Give him a little longer." Anik said as she looked at Ambrose.

"Are you actually okay with the big guy sleeping on top of you like that?" Ambrose questioned as Anik made a bothered expression.

"I'm not saying it's not a bit annoying." Anik said in response. "But I'm not saying it's that much of a problem for me either." She thought as she looked down at Keats' sleeping face once again.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Mt. Coronet, 7:02 a.m. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

After nearly a full day of roaming around inside of the largest mountain in the Sinnoh region, the travelling party of Keats, Anik, Tamara and Ambrose had finally managed to get out of Mt. Coronet. Leaving through an entry point on the opposite side from where they entered, Anik, Keats and Tamara all breathed sighs of fresh air as their mountain excursion had concluded.

"Oh, the beautiful sky!" Anik said as she looked up. "I haven't done any constellation work in the last few days and now I can finally get back on track!" She thought.

"Woo!" Tamara loudly muttered as she raised her cane overhead.

"As soon as we get to a city, we're going to celebrate getting out that place!" Keats said as everyone looked at him.

"You going to make something?" Tamara asked.

"I'm going to try and make turnovers!" Keats replied with a wide smile on his face. "Unless I can't find apples or cherries or raspberries or peaches or apricots or-" He thought as he started to randomly list the names of fruits.

"Hmmmmm..." Ambrose said as he looked around at the horizon. "There!" He exclaimed as he pointed in the direction of a trail. "That's Route 211, connecting Mt. Coronet to Celestic Town and Eterna City." Ambrose continued.

"Aweso- huh?!" Keats said until the group suddenly heard rumbling and the ground began to shake.

Looking upward towards the side of Mt. Coronet, the group made confused and surprised faces as a hole blew open in the side of the mountain, a small torrent of water breaking through it. Keats, thinking it was a particular yellow giant Pokémon with a stretchy tongue was responsible for the hole, reached for one of his Pokéballs as the group spotted a human being climb out of the hole with a Pokémon at their side.

"Ahhh! Argh!" A somewhat familiar girl with a Moltres hat and a Pokémon Breeders apron said whilst covered in dirt. "Finally! Out! Of! There!" She exclaimed.

"Floatzel-zel!" The orange Pokémon next to her said with a long yellow floatation device-like sack around its neck and body.

"Haaa... Haaa..." The girl in the Moltres hat breathed heavily until spotting the group of Keats, Anik, Tamara and Ambrose. "Is... Is that the trail leading to Celestic Town and Eterna City?" She asked towards the group with a tired voice.

'"Yeah."' The group said, giving her confirmation.

Something tells me that a Skuntank probably smells like several used diapers that have been marinating too long in spoiled yogurt, used cigarettes and fingernail clippings... Anyhoo, the Lit Piss really does exist! Or at least if you're Keats who just so happened to nickname a rather violent Shiny Alpha Lickilicky from the Hisui era that. After it decimated and tormented a horde of random Gible and Petilil and even knocked out a Garchomp and a Rhydon, the rampaging piss yellow Pokémon targeted a particular Petilil who stood up to it and it forced Keats' hand into stepping in. After a long battle against Lit Piss Lickilicky, Keats' Stunky evolved into Skuntank, he had caught the Petilil that came in from the Space-time Distortion and they scared away the Alpha Pokémon! And with a better attitude in Keats, the group has finally cleared the hurdle that was Mt. Coronet. Also, that breeder girl has a nice hat. Now the road to Eterna City is dead ahead! What will happen next? Stay tuuuuunnnnneeeeddd!
