Note: We're back! Let my brain thaw out and re-focus on mushy stupid stuff. Thanks for still being here. Laying in Harvey's arms as they both slowly caught their breath, Donna could hardly believe anything was real. One week ago, she was getting ready for work, only to be thrown into a whirlwind of emotional chaos. One week and her life had changed completely.

She couldn't stop smiling.

Harvey nuzzled his head into her neck, placing a trail of kisses between her shoulder and ear. Despite everything that just happened, she inhaled sharply at the feeling of his lips on her body, somehow feeling both so exciting, but also like coming home. Turning on her side to face him, she rubbed her thumb across his cheek.

"Hey," she said, unable to hold back a smile.

"Hey," Harvey replied, trailing his hand up her back.

"As much as I'd like to stay here all night, I really think we should get back to Rosie," Donna said as she placed a soft kiss on Harvey's lips.

"Mmmm," he groaned as he pulled her in closer. "Rachel said we could take as long as we needed."

Donna laughed; of course her friend was their biggest cheerleader tonight.

"They have an early flight tomorrow, and I know you don't want to miss bedtime," she pushed back, with another soft kiss.

As much as he wished they could have this night just for the two of them, he knew she was right. She was always right. He didn't need any reassurance that he made the right choice, but seeing how much she was already prioritizing Rosie, he knew that this was exactly how it should be.

Brushing her hair out of her face and planting a big kiss on her cheek, Harvey wrapped her in his arms and smiled, "Then we'd better go get our girl."

Ray smiled to himself as he glanced in the rearview mirror at the two of them. Even with Rosie's car seat in the middle, Harvey and Donna were all over each other like two kids in high school. Much like when Rosie came home with Harvey, he would never insert himself in his boss' business, but he couldn't wait to get home to tell his wife he definitely won the bet he placed with her when he started driving them around years ago.

As the two of them walked towards the door to his condo, Donna couldn't help but feel nervous?

Sensing a change in her demeanor, Harvey pulled her in, "Talk to me."

She exhaled, "I want this, Harvey. All of it," she sighed, "But it's still a lot…" she trailed off shaking her head. "I can't replace –"

"Stop," Harvey cut in, "I'm not asking you to. We both read the letter," he sighed. "She loves you, Donna. She knew before I did that you were supposed to be her mom."

Tears in her eyes, Donna looked down, "But what if I'm not –"

"Nope. No way." Harvey grabbed her chin, giving her a big smile, "You spent the last week convincing me that I could do this; there is no way you are the one doubting yourself now."

Donna gave him a watery laugh, "Pep talk needs work, but I'll take what I can get."

Harvey pulled her in for a kiss, letting his hands drop down her back to her butt for a quick squeeze.

"Okaaay mister," she rolled her eyes, pulling back, "let's go see those kiddos."

The three kiddos were snuggled up on the couch watching The Sound of Music when the two of them walked in. Upon hearing the door, Rachel handed Rosie off to Mike and ran to greet her friend with a big hug.

"Thanks, Rach," Donna whispered, giving her a knowing smile, as Mike appeared from the couch with a half-asleep Rosie in his arm. He held out his free hand towards Harvey, who gave it a silent, firm shake.

"Thank you guys for watching her," Harvey smiled at his friends, as he took Rosie from Mike.

"Anytime. We'll fly here to hang out with this cutie whenever you need us to," Rachel said, tickling the little girl.

Donna pulled both of her friends into a hug, "Thank you for being here; you're the best family we could ask for."

"We'll be back soon; we promise," Rachel squeezed her arm.

Donna turned her attention to the little girl in Harvey's arms. Her tired eyes fluttered opened, and when she realized who was there, stuck one sleepy arm out, reaching towards her, just as she had when they first met.

Rosie had done this countless times over the last week, but this time was different.

She gently took her from Harvey, holding her close as tears filled her eyes.

"Hi babygirl," she whispered, placing a soft kiss on Rosie's forehead. "I missed you so much sweetie."

Harvey beamed with pride watching the love that Donna had for his daughter; their daughter.

He stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Donna, with Rosie comfortably in between the two of them. Placing a kiss on her forehead he whispered, "You once told me that I had everything," she looked up at him as he continued, "I had no idea how much I was missing. This – this is everything."

Donna stood on her tiptoes to press a kiss against his lips, murmuring, "Let's get this one to bed and then I'll remind you what else you've been missing."
