I entered the office of the head goat fucker with all the poise and elegance expected of a pure-blooded noble. The funniest thing is that I didn't even try, the body I was inhabiting was practically running on auto pilot.

As I took my first step into the room I was assaulted with the cocofony of all the wierd shit Dumbledore decided to keep in his personal man-cave. The second thing to hit me was the dank smell of dust not cleaned for at least a century. Seriously my guy, using a cleaning spell isn't that hard. Besides, you do have hogwards house elves, right?

Despite my senses being assaulted by numerous wierd things I kept my mask of tired indifference. After a second of inspecting the crampt office with my bored eyes I turned to the only thinking (debatable) person in the room besides me. Dumbledore was sitting on his throne-like chair behind his grand desk.

Speaking of which. I messured the mountains upon mountains of paperwork on his desk. After expiriencing something similar in my past life I wouldn't wish this fate on anybody, even my worst enemy. Hell, I guess Dumbledore is exactly that in a way, and I certainly don't wish it on him. Well, not yet at least.

"Ah, Seriyus. Welcome, welcome, would you like some tea? Maybe a lemon drop?" The old man in front of me finally noticed my arrival and stood up from his chair to welcome me. Honestly, at a certain moment I thought he was going to collapse under his own weight.

That's wierd , I don't remember him being ill in either the books or the movie this soon. Not until he put his wrinkled old hands on the stone, and we all know what happaned after that.

"Why yes, thank you." I replied to the aged headmaster, taking the smoking cup of tea. And yes, before anyone asks I did run a quick wandles poison and curse sniffer. Apparantly, Seriyus was a tad paranoid in that regard.

Yet more traits we seemingly shared. How curious. But, now was most certainly not the moment to deliberate on such matters, although it did require further investigation the moment I got a small bit of free time on my hands.

"So-" Started the, presumably, goat fucking Headmaster. "What do you think of the proposition I sent you?" He's quite direct when he wants to be, huh?

I did take one of the yellow sweets in an effort to buy myself time to answer his question. After all, it wouldn't bare thinking for a noble such as me to speak with a full mouth.

To be honest I did think of his offer, extensively at that. In the end it came to one question. Would I be able to withstand his meddling in my affairs as a price for being so close to the plot and being able to influence it. Now, if I were a different man I would regal you with all the pros and cons, a man like the former resident of my body. Fortunately for you, I am not.

"I indeed have, headmaster Dumbledore and I'd like to humbly accept this great responsibility." Dumbledore was either a fool or a strategic genius. It all depends on how much he knew. If he was oblivious to the fact I replaced Seriyus he was an idiot. Inviting a visibly dark wizard, perhaps a dark lord in the making, to teach the young witches and wizards. Yeah, I can't see a way that would backfire.

On the other hand if he knew... Well, I tried not looking him directly in the eyes. Just as a precaution, of course. We wouldn't want the most powerful wizard in Britain, if not the world, to know that some entietie from another demention infected the body and suppressed the will of his former student.

"Good, good, I trust you remember where your classroom is? From what I gathered DADA was your favorite subject at hogwards." Ah, that. As you just heard the headmaster so jovially proclaim, Seriyus enjoyed the class immensely and not only because it was the only time he would learn anything about dark magic at Hogwards.

Unfortunately, every year there has been a new teacher of the subject thanks to the curse Voldemort put on the position as a final fuck you to Dumbledore for refusing to take him in as the profesor of said subject.

Speaking about the curse. I would have to keep an eye out for that. Wouldn't want my newly gained life to expire so rapidly, now would we? I can just hope not to get killed during the year and retire quietly after, but what can you do? It's the price of being near the plot.

"Naturally, I presume that the list of relevant materials is exacly there, yes?" Now, this to be honest will be the easiest part of being the teacher, what with so much knowledge on the topic locked in that head of mine.

"Yes." Came the short yet still packed with joy and smiles answer. I...can't understand this man. He has lived for so long and lost so much, yet he still has the strength to smile and at least pretend he cares. I...suppose I admire him in some way because of it.

"Now then, as a teacher you naturally have access to the entirety of the castle, feel free to explore and socialise with your fellow professors. I have a feeling Severus will be thrilled about your new position in our ranks." That...is another can of worms.

You see, Seriyus went to school with Severus, Lucius and the rest. Consequently, I am quite familiar with both. Well, besides Lucius being my brother in-law. Oh, did I perhaps fail to mention just where my place on the black family tree is?

You see, I am situated somewhere between Narcisa and Andromeda. I have...had three sisters. With one being locked up in Azkaban and second being married to a mudblood all that remained is Narcisa and even with her I don't really keep contact.

Although, I just might change that last bit. You see, I contemplated my options and I came accros an interesting idea. You see, being a dark lord here in Britain would be a bad idea yes. But, what about the rest of Europe? Perhaps a second coming of Grindelwald is in order? I did find that fun spell in the library...but that is a thought for later.

"Indeed, I suppose I shouldn't leave him hanging for much longer. By your leave, Headmaster." And as he nodded with a pleasant smile, I left in the direction of my new office.

The walk through Hogwards evoked a surprising amount of pleasant memories coming from the remaining part of Seriyus left in my head. Another interesting thing was the wealth of knowledge about the hidden passageways. Certainly something I will keep in mind for certain occasions during the school year.

The various portraits along the corridors giving me side eye glances didn't really bother me, the memories at the back of my mind making me quite comfortable with the decor.

As I reached the familiar dungeons I smirked. Truly, this place was quite the sight, even after a few years of my absence, this place hasn't changed even a bit.

I stood before the dark wood doors. You know, memories of my predecessor contain ventures inside the office, back when Slughorn was the potion professor at hogwards.

Well, I suppose it is time to reconnect.

?

She walked through the diagon Alley, her usual dark green robe fluttering in her wake. The various witches and wizards parted like the red sea before moses, some giving her scornfull looks at her obvious affiliations, some looking down in her for her Asian features.

She paid no mind to any of them, purposely striding towards a certain ice-cream parlor. Putting down her order, she gave the small bit of parchment to the house elf attending the guests and waited.

A few seconds later a tall man with long white hair and a wild look in his eye entered the shop and without much hesitation sat in front of her. "My lady, a pleasure as always." He bowed his head slightly, indicating that she was his superior but not by much.

"Likewise, my lord." Unlike him she merely nodded, watching him fill his own bit of parchment.

"I presume you felt it as well?" He questioned, relaxing in the surprisingly comfortable chair.

As their desserts arrived she refrained from speaking before the elf left. When it did she quickly grasped her wand and erected a powerfuch privacy ward. "Indeed, the mark has become active once again, after so many years." She confirmed his suspicions, taking a spoonful of the iced treat into her mouth.

"You do not sound that thrilled, m'lady." He raised a questioning eyebrow of disapproval. He always was one of the more loyal ones and to tell the truth, so was she.

"it is not that, I am merely worried. The second wizzarding war is on the horizon and the order wiped out most of our forces. The dark lord might not be happy about the fact that most of the old guard is either dead, in Azkaban or cowed into hiding from Dumbledore." She flicked her brown gaze over the patrons of the fine establishment they found themselves the clients of.

"Don't you worry, our lord is the most resourceful wizard I know, he most certainly will heve the solution in mere seconds after being presented with the problem in question." He chuckled, accepting his own bowl of ice-cream from the house elf.

She looked out of the window at her side. "Certainly." Yet her words did not hold any emotions. "All we have to wait for is for him to regain his full power."

"If my memory serves me well, your daughter will be starting hogwards next year, correct?" She flicked her gaze back to him.

He chuckled, embarrassed a slight bit. "Indeed, indeed. If the fates are good to us she will land a place in Slytherin, although I am afraid there is to much of her mother in her." He looked saddened, lost in recollection.

"To much, my friend she is almost entirely her mother. The last time I visited your manor she had her nose buried in her books so deep she failed to notice me." She chuckled. "I'd wish I could visit you sooner, but our lord has need of me in europe."

He shook his head at her apology. "I wouldn't dare fault you for it, there are some things that are more important then others. Besides, it's not like I am not swarmed with assignments from our lord, after all."

She looked down on the emptied bowls contemplating her next task. "I should go, so many things to do, so little time." Having said that she stood up, laft a few coins on the table and left, the sound of heels following in her wake.

The wizard looked at the money his old friend left . As ever, they failed to stand on ceremony for long. Checking the amount he chuckled." She overpaid, some things never change." His mood lifted grately, he stood up and left, the next orders already filling his mind.
