He could not wait to tell him. He dreamt about it all night. It was perfect in his head. Albus Potter smiled as he shared at his best friend, while they ate lunch.

They had the rest of the day to do anything. The afternoon spring air blew in the wind when they walked outside.

"I love the Spring," Scorpius Malfoy said, walking beside him. Albus blushed at how cute he looked in the warm sun.

"Me too," Albus said suddenly shy. He looked away from Scorpius who looked at him worried.

"Al? You, okay?" Scorpius looked behind him to see the bullies, not paying attention to them for once. He was happy at that as he felt the warm breeze hit him in the face.

"Yeah, I'm all right," Albus said trying to hide the blush on his face. He looked at his friend before he took off running. The grass picked up under his feet as he ran. Scorpius stood there for a few seconds before he followed close behind him.

Albus knew that telling him was a bad idea. The warm breeze hit him in the face as he calmed down. He needed to think about what he would say to him, but he couldn't believe it, even in the beautiful spring warmth. He needed help.

However, who will he ask? James? No, James will never let this down. He could ask Rose, but he didn't know if she would help him. Things have been weird with his family since he told everyone who he was. Lily might help but...

"Al?" Scorpius asked, putting his hand on his shoulder. Albus flinched slightly as he turned around and blushed again.

"I dreamt of telling you something, but I can't say it," Albus said, turning away. Scorpius turned him around.

"You can say it. Just say it. I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything Al," Scorpius smiled at him and turned him around again. This made Albus blush harder.

'Just say it, Al. This happened in your dream. Just say it.' Albus thought, taking a deep breath. The birds chirped around them. The sun was in the best spot.

Albus took a deep breath again before he met Scorpius's eyes and said, "I love you," Albus closed his eyes in fear of Scorpius giving him a look but when he opened them again, he saw love in his eyes and a bright smile on his face.

"That's what you were scared of telling me? Al, I love you too," Scorpius said laughing and grabbing Albus's hand. Albus blushed and laughed a little.

"I thought you were going to laugh at me. I know James will but he's my brother," Albus said pulling Scorpius into his arms and hugging him.

"Yeah, well, your brother is an idiot," Scorpius laughed as they started to walk along the lake line. Albus laughed.

It was night, and the new boyfriends sat silently in the common room by the fire. Albus was looking at his boyfriend's beauty in the fireplace. "Al?" Scorpius asked. Albus looked at him.

"Yeah?" Albus asked, looking at him. "Hey, I love you. Nothing will happen," Albus said firmly. Scorpius laughed.

"I don't care about what people say. I'm wondering how long you have a thing for me?" Scorpius said sitting on Albus's lap.

"Holliday break. Since we left," Albus answered grabbing his hand and rubbing it with his own. Scorpius smiled.

"Me too, Dad told me to tell you when we got back but I couldn't bring myself to say so,"

"My dad said the same thing. James, Lily, Rose, and Mum as well," Albus said laughing. Scorpius laughed as well. They went quiet again but neither minded as they sat in the firelight. No matter what happens, they will be together.
