Chapter 12: Angelic Deception

(Jeez, hard to believe this story is progressing so smoothly for me. I hope everyone is enjoying it so far. Now, ONTO THE CHAPTER!)

{Rui's Point of View}

- Two Days Later -

Cray and I have spent two days trying to figure out where Angel could strike. The annoying part is having no idea who the target of the attack will be. We don't even know if they are in the city, under the city or just near the city in some way. The last place was in the forest near the city. Cray even mentioned previous areas of activity were laced all over cities. With the note having no real direction besides the town itself. The city we're in is called Moss Ross City. It's known for its beaches, high rent and absolute ruthlessness when it comes to fucking over tourists. The locals have nothing to say on human abductions though. Cray even pressed them further mentioning the enemy is targeting human slavers. They kept to their story; they have no intel for us. I allowed Abaddon to explore the city on his own for a bit and while I walked around, I noticed a television. A female Gothitelle reporter spoke about a video showing Aura wearing the bow I gave her, "Many Fans are still shocked to learn Aura is now off the market. She has confirmed her mate is human and wishes to be his mate for eternity." A male Weavile reporter added smugly, "That, or until he dies, and she finds someone else." The Gothitelle shot him an angry glance and he coughed before adding, "But this is still great news for her. I'm proud of her." Gothitelle smiled nervously, "Yes... we all are... She's quite... inspirational." I stopped listening and walked off feeling a bit pissed off. Their sarcasm and judging of my mate are completely ridiculous. The Weavile is obviously just jealous too. Fucking dickhead shrimpy ass piece of shit.

I decided to go to the beach to cool off. I didn't change into any swimming gear. Cray warned me that'd be a very bad idea. Not because of slavers, there are rich and/or unsavory Pokémon that hang out at the beach regularly. He urged me to be careful since they have no idea about the blessing, and most would not care. Under my clothes I have some of my armor and I have my knife. Abaddon is also watching me supposedly, despite enjoying his day. Knowing all of this, I decided to go anyways. Looking at the crystal blue water, the warm rays, and soft sand made me feel nothing... which I can only assume means only good things. I no longer felt angry and sat on the sand without a towel or blanket. I didn't care about getting sand on my clothes. I wanted to stop thinking about Aura before the feelings of love pushed through. While sitting there, one of the sisters accompanying us approached me. She walked up behind me, "Hello. My I sit with you?" I looked at her, nodding, "I don't own the beach, so you can do as you wish." She sat next to me, "Something bothering you?" I nodded again, "I miss Aura." She looked surprised, "You do?" I looked down sadly, "Yeah..." She laid down, looking towards the ocean, "She talked about you a lot. I grew up with her at the Estate. Said you were 'perfect' and wanted you more than anything." I scoffed at that, "I'm not perfect... I wish I was." She agreed, "No one is perfect... but she thought you were. Heh... Margrev used to punish her for spending too much time with the humans. She just wanted to spend all her time with you. Is it true? Did she get your first kiss?" I bit my lip, blushing as I tried to keep myself calm, "I... Yeah..." She smirked, "Could you share the details? She just told us you did it because you wanted to." I calmed down, sighing, "I did... but it was a bet. At least... it was... initially..." She leaned in, smiling with interest, "Do tell." I frowned, "I played tag with her, something so dumb and simple. She bet she could easily catch me. If she won, we'd kiss. It was to be both of our first kisses and I said yes because I... wanted to. She was my best friend. The person I fell in love with... but my fear of the Gardevians made me want to be with a human female. So, I let her catch me and didn't realize people were watching at the time. We both walked together, there was no pulling... no pushing... we went behind a few things to hide and... we kissed." She smirked again, "Was it spicy?" I rolled my eyes, "Yeah. Totally. We then had sex to while we're at it." She giggled, "If you were older when that happened... would you?" I froze, "Uh... Well..." I thought to myself, 'I guess I would have... but I don't think I want to say it.' She whispered, "Don't worry. Your silence speaks volumes. How long have you loved her?" I decided to be honest, "For a very long time..." She snickered, "Same for her. Did she really save her virginity for you?" I shrugged, "I... don't really know honestly. She says she did... but deep down... I... don't know. There's no real way to tell for Pokémon. Pokémon do not have hymens." She thought to herself for a moment before saying, "You make a good point. There isn't a way to tell. For human males, you can tell by their nervousness." I thought about Silvia and glared a bit, "Yeah... when it comes to being forced into it by a female Pokémon."

I looked at her, "What's your name?" She replied, "Anything you want it to be handsome." I rolled my eyes, "Aura would kick your ass if she heard that." She laughed, "Yeah, I'm too used to saying that I guess. I'm Sana. What's it like being a famous human in our kind?" I groaned, "I'm not famous. Infamous maybe, but not famous and it sucks. You're a female, you wouldn't know what it's like to be owned. Everywhere I go, people seem to know at least one thing about me." I pointed at my arm, "This. It always leads back to this." She looked at my arm sleeve, "Hm... You have a point. If a male owned me, did what they wanted to me and hurt me I'd be a different person too." I nodded, "Yeah. The important part is not letting it change you too much. I tried... at least I hope I did. The days started to blend together. Days became weeks... then months... and it was the same. Pushed around in the morning, afternoon and then after the towel incident every night I accompanied her to the baths... After a while it wasn't the sex that bothered me anymore." She looked at me, raising a brow, "It wasn't?" I shook my head, "After a couple times you start to lose hope. You just lay there... staring at the ceiling. I'd think of anything to keep myself sane. The feeling of her tongue on my neck, licking up to my ear, grabbing my head and hugging me forcefully while getting me... I..." I started hyperventilating before calming down. Sana got up, trying to see if I needed help. I rejected it, "I'm fine... I still get stuck in the moments when I talk about them. It felt disgusting. Like I was a tool, a toy. She used me for her own sick twisted pleasures. When I used to say no, she'd dunk my head in the hot bath water. She'd hold it there, waiting for me to breath in some in a panic before pulling me out, letting me cough it up, breath twice and then dunk me again. This went on repeat for at least a half hour to an hour. The most times it happened was at least twenty in succession. Usually once my arms were slumped and I could barely stay conscious she'd push me onto my back and crawl on top of me. Despite the haze and blurriness, I still could see her glowing crimson eyes, her smirk as her hands glided on my arms and stomach. She'd wait until I was conscious enough to feel her grabbing my crotch and react. Once the reaction catches her eye, she grabs my head and forces us to kiss. Her hands would go down to my shoulders and one would slowly but forcefully rub down my chest to my stomach and as it goes lower it slows down until it's ever so slightly. The pit in my stomach and anxiety worsening every second and... I need to stop. I'm going too deep into this." I looked at Sana and she looked really interested in a perverted way. Seeing that and her blush made me much angrier than I thought it would. I got up without saying anything and walked off before she could speak a single word.

As I walked, Abaddon apparently is walking beside me. I say this because I had no idea he is there. He takes a bite out of a sandwich and loudly says, "Mm! I never knew food tasted so good!" I jumped up and yelled, "Holy shit, were you there the whole time!?" He took another bite, "Mmph, no. Just the last fifteen minutes or so. Why so glum chum?" I shook my head, "Just got reminded why I hate my kind." Abaddon asked, "If you hate them, then are they really your kind?" I thought about it and shrugged, "Don't know." I looked at a nearby store, "Wait... how did you pay for that sandwich?" Abaddon gave me a questioning look, "Pay?" I gave him an angry look and he started laughing, "Don't worry. I paid for it. I may have... borrowed the money from your brother. He won't need it. It was just five dollars."

- MEANWHILE -

"That'll be 23 dollars and sixty-two cents." A cashier said happily.

Cray pulls out his wallet, "Oh good. I should have a twenty and a five right he-" Cray notices the five-dollar bill is gone, "... Son of a bi-!"

- Now Back To The Chapter -

I said, "Shouldn't you not be stealing from my brother?" He said, "Shouldn't you be trying to take my food you orphan?" I shoved him, "Fuck off, I'm not an orphan you ass hat." Abaddon finished his sandwich, "Heh. At least you aren't boring. Tell me. From what I've learned from your memories, isn't it kind of weird one of the cities on the list is where you live?" I looked at him, "Really that's... wait, what? You looked at my memories?" Abaddon grinned, "You made the deal friend, I need to know everything about you I can to be your best friend. Quite interesting stuff up there." I mentally kicked myself, "Fucking damn it. I should have known something like this would happen." I then got a text from cray.

Hey little bro... I uh... need you to spot me.

How much do you need?

Five bucks

I looked at Abaddon, "You literally fucked my brother over." Abaddon shrugged, "Well he shouldn't have been poor." I countered, "You literally stole from him because you yourself had no money." Abaddon grinned, "I got freed yesterday. I don't see you making any money currently." I rolled my eyes, "Right... good point you dumbass." I texted Cray back.

I got you. I'll head over. Where you at?

I'm at the Mc Snorlax.

Damn, you should have eaten off the dollar menu huh?

Just please get over here

On my way.

Abaddon and I went over to give Cray the money he needed. He thanked me, "Thanks for coming through for me." I looked at the food he started eating and said, "Should you really be eating this crap?" Cray shrugged, "I don't know, but I'm hungry. Stop judging me while I eat." I raised my hands defensively, "Alright, fine. But if you go back home a fatass Snorlax then that's on you." Me and Abaddon waited patiently for him to finish eating. Once he finished, Abaddon glanced at me. I could tell he's expecting me to bring up the fact one of the locations is in the city I live in. I asked Cray, "Could you pull out that note we found again? I think there's something we missed." Cray looked confused, but did, "What did we miss." I looked at it and did in fact see my city's name on it, "Right here. This is the name of the city I live in. Do you know when this happened?" Cray thought about it and said, "You know... it was around the time Margrev first brought you back to the estate to train you. Shortly after, they discovered the slavers dead in the basement of a famous diner." I scratched my chin, "Really?" Cray nodded, "Yeah. Kind of weird timing too. We thought you did it initially but when we noticed no stab wounds, it was obvious someone else is doing it." Abaddon derailed the conversation a bit, "You know that place, Kentucky Fried Torchics. I'd love to try it." I looked at Cray, "Isn't it kind of weird they eat their own intelligent kind?" Cray shrugged, "How the fuck am I supposed to know if it's weird or not. They eat humans too." I nodded, "Fair point." Abaddon asked, "So, is that a yes to going there at some point?" Cray asked back, "Do you have money?" I snickered, "Oh yeah. Money. Hey Abaddon. Where'd you get your money?" Abaddon smiled at me, "I just put on a show. Obviously. Look at my top hat, I'm obviously a great... uh... alright, I have no idea where I was going with this, but it was going somewhere." I turned to Cray, "He stole your five bucks." Cray got up, "I KNEW IT!" Abaddon kept his smile, "It was just five dollars." Cray countered, "It was my five dollars!" Abaddon made a watch appear on his wrist, "Oh jeez, look at the time. I'll just be going now..." With that, he disappeared. I stared at his now empty seat and then looked at Cray, "So... freeing him... great call man." Cray flipped me off, "Fuck off." I shook my head in annoyance before saying, "So... do you think Angel really is alone in this?" Cray shook his head, "No idea... but it fits. If there were more, we'd see a lot more activity, more evidence. There's only enough evidence to suggest one person was at each scene."

I started thinking about the last area and wondered what the motive behind this would be. Cray didn't have an answer but something I noticed is how adamant he is about them all being slavers. Can they all be slavers? That just doesn't make sense because it wouldn't benefit a Gardevoir in the slightest. She's supposedly moonlit and they live in the forest, do they want humans in the wild? No. That'd be stupid. If that were the case, wouldn't they kill the slavers and release the humans near their homes? So, if not any of that, then why? Why would they do this? With Cray finished eating, he tried thinking of some motives, but we ended up being stuck. He then asked, "Are you okay? I noticed you seemed mad about something." I looked down, "I was talking to one of the sisters and they were... interested in my... adventures with Silvia in the Estate. I was explaining some of the day-to-day acts and she looked... sexually interested. I don't think I should be this angry but, in the moment, I felt it." Cray looked at his trash and sighed, "Rui, at some point we all have to get over things. You've done well in that department I think, but some things take more time. Has she been bothering you?" I asked, "Who? Silvia?" Cray nodded, "Yeah. She's been away for a long time now. Even her mother has no idea where she's been." I thought to myself, 'That's concerning.' I got up, "I'm going to go buy a souvenir for Aura." Cray smirked, "Buying your mate a gift? You two going to be living together before or after she's pregnant?" I flipped him off, "I'll see you later bro."

- 2 Hour Later -

I spent two hours looking in stores for a gift. Some scarves, some Gardevian coats, some other stuff. Eventually I bought her something. A black Gardevian Tailored Coat to help her in the winter. She used to complain about the winter when we were younger and even though I know she has her own coats, she'd still consider this one special. I looked at the bag, struggling not to smile as I imagined her reaction. One of the Pokémon noticed the bag and asked who's it for. When they heard it's for my mate, their expression changed to a smile and told me to give it to her with a smile. I felt worried initially but once the smile shone through, I realized how feasible a peaceful future really is. I just wish it'd be a lot easier... I just wish no one had to suffer or die. Then I ran into the last person I ever expected to. I saw ahead of me, staring right back is the person I bought this coat for. She wore a horrified expression. She didn't want me to be here. Why?

She approached me, "What the hell are you doing here!?" I scoffed, "Me!? What about you!? You're not supposed to be here either! I thought you have a concert tomorrow in another city!" She flinched, stepping me and looking away sadly. She hugged herself, "Yeah..." I noticed the bow I gave her is still being worn, "Oh thank Arceus..." She asked, "What?" I pointed at the bow, "For a minute there I thought you were... cheating on me..." She looked at me with a serious stare, "I'd never do that to you. Still, why are you here?" I looked away nervously, "Gardevian Business... and this..." I handed her the bag, "I got you a present." She took it and looked into the bag, "What is it?" I smiled at her, "I know how much you hate the winter... so I got you a coat." She smirked, glancing at me, "You know I have plenty of coats?" I smirked back, "Yeah... but that's a coat I gave you." She swung the bag to hang off her elbow before pulling me into a tight hug, "Thank you so much my love." I hugged her tightly, kissing her neck. She pulled back, checking her phone before sighing, "I have some things to do... but... you want to go on a date tomorrow?" I nodded, "Easily." She caressed my check, staring into my eyes. I embraced her, feeling the stares but focusing solely on her. She reluctantly pulled back, "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow my love." I gently grabbed her wrist, "Wait, why are you here?" She looked at me, "I'll tell you on our date. Trust me. Keep yourself safe or else I'll energy ball you." She blew me a kiss as she walked off into the crowd, disappearing into them as I suddenly felt colder. Then I started to realize something.

'You can whisper my name to it, and it'll unleash one of my favorite attacks. Dazzling Gleam.' ' Keep yourself safe or else I'll energy ball you.'

'There are some that live in a forest and primarily attune themselves with nature for better fairy and grass powers.' 'Did anyone from that forest ever leave?' 'There was one, but she never called herself Angel.' 'Angels are primarily a human thing.' 'I'd say kill her, but Margrev wants her back alive. She wants to interrogate her.'

'There's also evidence Moon Blast and Grass Knot have been used as well.' 'Moonlit? What the hell is going on? I don't even know anyone in the Estate that is Moonlit...'

'Why should we help them when Angel killed Human Slavers?' 'I'm proud of you for wanting to change things for our kind.' 'You mean that? Ours?'

'I can be a very helpful asset. Who else would be able to extract info from someone's mind?'

'As expected, their minds have been wiped clean.'

'I'm blessed with a voice.' 'we've received over a hundred complaints because someone used hyper voice-' 'We've also found some ear drums have been ruptured.'

'Some have Aura like damage.' 'Aura? Like Aura Sphere?'

'Aura?'

No fucking way... If what I'm thinking is correct, then this all makes sense now! Why Margrev wants her back alive. Someone who can use fairy and grass type attacks. Someone who is secretly moonlit and ONLY MARGREV KNEW. Why they wanted to Assassinate her to begin with! They probably didn't have solid evidence to begin with, but it all adds up. The motive, she finds humans as her kind as well. She loves me to add to it. Cray didn't even know she's Moonlit either. Aura is ANGEL!

(Boom. There it is. Aura has been Angel this whole time. To anyone whose read School Days, The author of the diary is in fact Aura... however they have never met and she graduated long before they could ever meet. This leaves Silvia to being his only love interest to force their relationship to bloom. Please, if you enjoyed the story leave a review, favorite and follow the story!)
