"WELL—I'M SORRY YOU CAN'T GIVE ME WHAT I NEED!!!"

Abame screeched. She jabbed her finger at Undikai's chest.

"You're just some LOW-LIFE Ruler with a good looking body and absolutely no mental capacity! YOU'RE STONE COLD! You're so depressed after become Ruler that you became a SHELL of a monarch! It's not an attractive look on you, at all!"

Undikai growled, grabbing Abame's wrist and squeezing it rather hard. "You take that back, WOMAN!" Abame gasped, before attempting to yank her wrist away. Eventually Undikai just let her go, resulting in Abame storming away. Most likely packing her things to stay with her second lover. "Okay, Okay, Abame, look…

I-" Undikai quickly tried to make amends. But before going away completely, Abame turned around.

"Take it! I regretted it anyway!!" Abame yelled. Undikai turned around once again.

. Abame hastily slid her wedding ring off her finger and threw it on the ground.. the diamonds and sapphires shattered, and so did the silver. Abame then finally stormed away.

Undikai fell to her knees before the shattered ring. The ring she that signifies the love once shared.. the only thing that kept Undikai going until now.

The Ruler's gloved hands tried to shakily gather the pieces. It was like any life had been sucked out of Undikai. She broke out into a sob, gritting her teeth as she held her face in her hands..

Zelda dipped her quill in her ink before continuing her studies. She felt lucky, as she finally found sometime to study that flower that had grown at the gates. Being a queen had its demands, yes, but she surely found the time for hobbies.

Something in her study caught her eye. Some type of liquid.. reddish black.. was dripping from inside the pages of a book. Her eyes widened as she slowly back out to her chair.. she recognized the substance before.. from her encounters with Gannondorf. Her lungs quickly expanded as she gasped for air. Her triforce glowed as the liquid slithered up into the book. Zelda quickly pulled her sword from the corner, before she used it to quickly open the book. What left behind was absolutely nothing.. except, the malice had transported into a rather specific and unusual page.

It was a page containing a map of a specific land... a very dangerous and feared country that no one in the Royal bloodline had interacted with in nearly a millennium.

"What in Hylia…"

Zelda mumbled to herself. The page seemed safe.. she picked up the book, and inspected the page. But one thing was clear.

She didn't completely get rid of Gannon, and he was watching, this entire time.

Doriku pat the Ruler's back as she sat at her meeting table. He chuckled.

"Don't you think you should stop moping?"

He asked, in good spirits. Undikai scowled.

"Doriku, I just got divorced. I think I deserve to mope."

Doriku hummed.

"I know you feel alone, but it will pass."

He reassured, smiling kindly, his ruby eyes a pool of endless patience.

"I've been alone for decades."

Undikai mumbled into her hands, before lifting them up and dusting off her sleeves and sitting up straight.

Doriku chuckled in an almost charming manner. "You've always seemed to have the worst tragedies…hm? If only you had the desire to fix such things."

He purred, crossing his legs as his kimono folded at the waist.

"A new life? Well.." He leaned closer, gently tapping his nails on the table.

"You don't need dainty women and men to love you. You only need yourself, Undikai."

Doriku said, running a hand through his hair, the black strands glimmering under the chandelier.

"You make me sound like a hopeless romantic, Doriku. What are you saying?"

He chuckled once more.

"I'm saying… allow me to give you the power you've been longing for. Allow me to give you a new dawn… a surge of sinister dopamine… you'll be unstoppable."

He coaxed, his offer seemed suspicious. And Undikai knew better than to trust such a thing.

"I unfortunately can't let you do that. I've built up the country to far for me to add fancy spells and add-ons to my… possession."

Undikai spoke, taking a sip of her drink, before feeling an unfamiliar burn on her throat.

"My my, it's unfortunate that you don't have a choice."
