After following the mystery man, AKA Trunks to a nearby clearing next to a set of cliffs, he then used a capsule and brought out a cooler filled with cold water and soda, which we then proceeded to have some of it, especially me, as I was getting thirsty after all the time I'd spent on Jupiter training. It was a good thing that not only did my race have no need for air, but also that we could go about 10 times longer than humans and Saiyans without needing water or food.
"Okay, so we need some questions answered. What's your name, purple hair?" Bonyu asked him, Trunks frowning.
"Um... unfortunately, I can't tell you, it's confidential," he said.
"Um... okay, that's weird. Then what about you having the Super Saiyan hair? Is that to be shared?" Lamp asked.
"No, sorry..."
"Where you came from?" Gohan asked.
"Also a secret..."
"Okay, what's your deal? You come out of nowhere and defeat Frieza and his dad effortlessly and yet you can't tell us a single thing? How doyou know about Goku, then? Did you ever meet him?" Gine frowned in annoyance as her tail twitched a bit behind her.
"I heard about him being an amazing warrior, but I never met him," Trunks frowned, which made the others look super confused while others were annoyed such as Vegeta and Piccolo.
"Peh. Now we have even more questions and I have a feeling you won't tell anyone anything," Piccolo frowned, which Trunks frowned at.
"Is Goku even going to be here in the time you said? Or are you pulling our legs?" Yamcha asked.
"He is going to be here. From now, it'll take him 2 hours or so."
"But is that the truth? Because you're being super secretive and it's kind of concerning," Puar spoke, which I then sensed for myself and smiled.
"It is the truth. Due to Goku's current position and the speed of the ship he's on... angle of the planet and where he's going to have the ship land... he'll be here in about 1 hour, 49 minutes, and 22 seconds," I said, which made the group surprised before Broly used the Scouter I gave him and he smiled.
"She's right. Almost exactly that..." Broly said calmly as a couple birds then landed on his head and he smiled and closed his eyes and stood perfectly still.
"Wow... it's like animals are attracted to you, big guy," I smiled at him as we then simply waited for awhile... but I got bored around the time that an hour passed by, so I then inched closer to Trunks and proceeded to get a notebook from my own personal capsule, it being hidden in my armor and I started to write a message for the mystery guy before I showed it to him. The message? It said. "I know who you are." But Trunks frowned and crumpled it up and threw it back at me, which I then wrote another one and placed it in front of him, which it was a good thing he was simply watching everyone else in front of him as opposed to the message being in view of anyone but me and him. This message? "You're a mean one, Mister Briefs."
And when he read that, he looked surprised, but he then looked at me and I simply put my finger to my mouth to make him stay quiet as I then wrote some more. "Don't worry, your secrets are safe with me." And then, finally, Trunks proceeded to write his own message with my pen, him then passing it to me.
"How do you know about me?" he asked me on paper, me then responding with another message.
"I've been through all of this before... but my story is even more unbelievable than yours. No one knows, not even my Brigade," I wrote down, him then nodding at the message and him then writing down.
"Everything is different it seems. Too many new faces that I never saw before. What's up with that?"
"It's mostly my fault. The good guy Saiyans as well as all life that Frieza and his family killed that weren't evil were brought back to life. I wanted to ruin their pride and their wallets before they died. And it worked." I wrote down.
"And the cloud people? And the multiple aliens?"
"The cloud people are some of my lieutenants. Dodoria's the pink one, the blue skinned one is Salza, the red skinned one is Bonyu, and the pink girl with white clothes is Lamp."
"And where they came from?"
"Dodoria: Former Frieza captain, reformed when he learned that Zarbon forced him to kill his sister for no reason.
Salza: Scared straight onto my side when I beat Frieza's brother, Cooler to an inch of his life, before he was def-eat-ed by Lamp.
Bonyu: Former Ginyu Force member, retired and escapee of Freiza's army because of her children being held hostage and her hating the posing practice of the Ginyu Force.
Lamp: Lone Majin that wanted to stay with me as thanks for bringing her race of people back to life, despite Cooler destroying her home planet. She's my roommate."
After this, Trunks frowned and then wrote a simple response.
"So what is your secret?" he asked, me frowning at this. I then wrote one thing down to him.
"Tell no one and I won't tell anyone about yours," I wrote down, him nodding at me as I then wrote the next stuff. I then told him and only him of my deepest darkest secret. "I was reborn into this body from a previous life, where I was a human living in North America. And my favorite tv show? A show called Dragonball Z. Where a man named Goku went from powerful toddler to superhero level adult status over the course of four arcs. So far, the two arcs that have happened and passed by are the Saiyan and Frieza acts. Only two remain, and this is one of them," I wrote to him, which Trunks nodded at before then ripping all the pages we'd worked on thus far and burning them to ashes, which got the group to look at us in surprised.
"What did you just do?" Tien asked in confusion.
"Nothing much, we just saw a weird-looking bug of some kind," I said as I then saw that, I did have a good excuse for that as, right in front of my feet was one of the different surveillance bugs that was used by Doctor Gero, but it was currently overheated from the hit and I then grabbed hold of it and took off both of its small, tiny wings that it used for flight, which I then handed it over to Bulma.
"This is for you to study, Bulma. I don't know what the hell it is, but it looks important," I said as I handed her the bug from Gero, her looking at it and nodding.
"Huh... a security drone that's this tiny is something that I haven't dealt with before. I'll start working on it right away. We still have half an hour, after all," Bulma smirked as she then placed the bug onto one of her different portable testing stations she had on hand and then, after searching on it for long enough, she did get some information.
"Hmm... this is all in binary code. I'm going to need to discuss this with my dad when we get home. I may be smart, but I can't figure anything out from a wall of 1s and 0s," Bulma complained before then putting all of the stuff into the same capsule, meaning that the bug was effectively captured for future use.
"It did look weird, though. A robot bug that's as small as a beetle? That's very, very odd," Piccolo frowned in annoyance. And then Puar spoke up.
"Can I turn into you for a bit, Piccolo? I want to know the skills you have for future use," Puar smiled, which made me smirk. She was so innocent and courteous, always asking permission to turn into our friends.
"Fine with me, just don't stay in that form for too long," Piccolo said, Puar then shapeshifting into Piccolo and her looking at her hands and being surprised.
"This is... super weird... I didn't turn into you alone... it's like I'm mixed with you, a different Namekian, and Kami all at once!" Puar admitted, which we looked at her in surprise as I sensed her power as of now, it being all the way to the top, as it usually was. And it was, as of now, 300 million!
"W-What?! Piccolo could get that strong if he fused with Kami?!" Krillin gawked as I smiled at this. I didn't know if this would change things around or not, but Piccolo frowned as he then hit his hand against the head of the Piccolo faker, which was an automatic way of changing her back to normal.
"I'd rather not think about doing that for now. Just thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach," Piccolo frowned in annoyance, which I nodded at.
We then waited for the next half hour until, finally, I could feel Goku approaching our planet's atmosphere! "AH! He's going to be here in t-minus 10 seconds! 9! 8!" I started to countdown, followed by everyone else until we reached 0. But of course, some weren't too willing such as Broly, Bonyu and Vegeta. But then, after we said 0, the ship finally crashed into the ground about 20 yards away from us, which the group was surprised at how close it was!
"Let's go greet the man of the hour! I can't wait to see the look on his face at all the new faces," I chuckled as we then went to the area and, upon doing so, we saw Goku was in his Yardrat clothes and he looked at our gigantic crowd with surprise.
"Wow! This is quite a welcome party, isn't it?! Hahaha! I knew you guys liked me, but this is a bit much, hehe!" Goku chuckled happily as he then flew out of the ship and went towards us, with me giving him a fistbump.
"Thanks for the assistance with Frieza back on Namek, Goku. Unfortunately, he survived, but we got him and the rest of my family dealt with," I said, Goku then looking at the numerous faces as well as seeing that we had more Saiyans among us.
"So... what did I miss? Because it looks like I missed quite a lot," Goku smirked.
"Indeed, you did," Broly said, me seeing that he was getting ticked just looking at Goku, me going to the big man and holding his hand.
"Easy, Broly. Deep breaths, like we practiced," I smiled, him then doing so and him then simply sitting on the ground and meditating. "Goku, meet Broly. He and you have a very confusing history that I know for a fact you've forgotten," I said as I then explained the situation as Broly continued to meditate, it being a state he could do to tune out the world.
"So he's afraid of me or something?" Goku asked in confusion.
"Less that he's afraid and more traumatized. There are 2 things that can get Broly from 0 to 100 anger very quickly. One is to mention your Saiyan name around his vicinity. And the other? Hearing any form of loud crying, usually from infants. We have to be careful when we're in public in case we're around complaining children or fussy babies," I admitted, Goku nodding at me as I then introduced the others, which of the lot, I left Bardock last, as he was Goku's dad. And when he learned that.
"My dad?! Get out of here!" he gawked as Bardock went to Goku and placed his hand on his son's shoulder.
"I'm proud of you, son. You've become a very fine warrior," Bardock smirked at him as Trunks then spoke.
"Goku," the mystery man said, me making sure I didn't introduce him yet.
"Oh yeah, you didn't mention this guy yet. But I could sense a crazy power level earlier that defeated Frieza no sweat! Who was that?" Goku asked.
"That'd be me," Trunks said, which Goku smirked at. "I want to ask if I can talk to you in private... same with miss Sally here."
"Wait... we can't listen in? Dammit, that's so lame!" Lamp complained as a bit of steam came from her pores on her head.
"Easy, Lamp, don't get too worked up. Behave and I'll take us out for ice cream after we're finished up," I said, Lamp then immediately brigthening up at that.
"Make it a triple fudge sundae and you're on! Heehee!" Lamp giggled as I then went with Trunks to about 100 yards away from the others.
"I want to ask you before we do this. Can you turn Super Saiyan for me?" Trunks asked.
"Oh, I can! I used to only do it when I was very angry, but now I can do it whenever I want," Goku said, but I smirked at his cluelessness.
"Um... I think he meant to transform, like, now," I said, him then smirking awkwardly.
"Oh, right, my bad! Haha!" Goku said with a nervous laugh before turning Super Saiyan instantly, which Vegeta growled at from a distance. Why? Because of all of our Saiyan troops as of now, Vegeta was the lone one that had yet to turn Super Saiyan. And that was because he hadn't gotten to the strongest he could in base form. He still had about 10 million to go before he was tough enough, which I only knew because of taking him to Kami to get some 'divination'. And despite Kami's protests, he was willing to listen, so long as I made sure Vegeta was on a short leash.
"I can do it too," Trunks said before then turning into his Super Saiyan form, which Goku looked at him with a smile.
"We kind of look a lot alike. But you're a bit stronger, I can sense that much," Goku smirked.
"Sorry about this... YAAAAAAHHH!" Trunks shouted as he then drew his sword and was about to attack Goku, but he stopped midflight and mid-swing. And he looked at him in shock. "Why didn't you bother to dodge my attack?!"
"I sense no evil intentions. I knew you weren't going to hurt me," Goku smiled with a bit of seriousness in his voice.
"Ah. I see. But this time I won't hold back!" Trunks said as Goku then nodded and put a good chunk of his power into just two fingers. He then proceeded to block and defend against all of Trunks's sword swings until finally catching the sword with one simple movement, which Trunks smiled at as they then let down their Super Saiyan states and I clapped my hands genuinely.
"Well done! Good show, boys!" I smirked at them.
"Now I know I can trust you... but I need you both to promise me that no one else knows what I'm about to tell you, okay?" Trunks said, me nodding at him.
"I already did, remember?" I smiled at him.
"Oh... I apologize, I was just so surprised by your secret that I forgot about that," Trunks admitted.
"What secret?" Goku asked, me then zapping him with a shock of electricity, him being surprised by it.
"A secret that only me and this guy knows. And no, I'm not telling you, because it could be bad for the future, trust me on that one," I frowned, him nodding after.
"Okay. And I'll take your secret to the grave too, kid," Goku smiled.
"Okay... I'm Trunks. I know all about you and most of everyone else because... I come from the future, roughly 25 years from now," he said, which Goku was shocked by.
"Whoa, really? I'm talking to a time traveler? Cool!" Goku smirked. "But wait... if you came back in time to meet with me, that must mean that something big happens, right?"
"Indeed. My future is a hellish landscape ravaged by two dangerous monsters... about 2 years from now, on September 13th around 10:30 AM, 2 androids created by the Red Ribbon Army will emerge," Trunks explained, which Goku gawked.
"Red Ribbon? You mean those bad military goons that I dealt with when I was just a kid?" he gawked.
"The very same. They were created by the mad scientist Doctor Gero, who you let live long ago. But he created two androids he could not control, who quickly killed him and began to ravage the planet... they feel no emotion, no pain, and show no mercy. They only know destruction..." Trunks said with a shiver in his spine.
"That sounds... bad," I frowned.
"In time, all the warriors in our group had perished. Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Chiaotzu, Piccolo, even Puar and Launch would all be killed by these androids. And without Piccolo, no one could be wished back to life... Not even my father could finish them off..." he said.
"Wait... who is your dad, then?" Goku gawked.
"Vegeta..."
"Whoa, WHAT?! Vegeta having a kid? That's crazy!" Goku gawked. "But wait... what about Gohan and me? And what about Sally and the others in her Battle Brigade?" Goku asked.
"Gohan would teach me everything he knew about combat as well as how to turn Super Saiyan... until the bitter end," he said, making Goku gasp in shock. "Sally and her Battle Brigade, as well as all of those other Saiyans and aliens... they aren't a part of my future timeline, making this so bizarre that so much has already changed in the past... and as for you, you don't even get the privelege to fight," Trunks said, which Goku was stunned by.
"W-What do you mean?! Do the androids kill me, too?" Goku gawked.
"No, they don't. Not too long after today, roughly 3 months from now, you'll contract a fatal virus in your heart. One that can't be cured by any medicine existing today," Trunks said, which Goku gawked at.
"I... I don't even get to fight, and all because of a stupid virus? Not even Senzu beans would work? That sucks! I can't even fight anyone!" Goku groaned.
"Wait... you aren't angry at dying, but about not being able to fight the androids?" Trunks asked.
"Uh, yeah, he's a pureblooded Saiyan. All he can think of is fighting. But emphasize the pure part, and it overrides pretty much every other thing in his head," I smiled, Goku smirking.
"Yeah, you got me to a T," Goku smirked.
"Hehe... you're just as my mom described, then. Always thinking with either your stomach or fighting," Trunks smirked.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me... if you have a time machine that took you back here, then who is your mom?"
"Bulma," he said, which Goku was so shocked by, he fell on his ass and backed up a bit.
"B-Bulma and Vegeta?!" he gawked, me shushing him by covering his mouth mid shout, as he was being a bit too loud.
"Don't shout that info out, Goku! If you did and the others overheard, Trunks may never be born at all," I said at a much quieter tone, which Trunks nodded at.
"It's true, but also not at the same time... anything that happens in this past will be different than my timeline, as it can't be affected by what I change back here... but better that I prepare you before the Androids kill everything," Trunks said.
"Considering you took out Frieza like he were birthday streamers and you of all people are saying that the androids are bad news, we're inclined to believe you... but we do need to make sure all of us are as prepared as possible, so you could allow us to warn them of what will happen, so long as we don't reveal anything about your lineage or name, right?" I asked, him nodding.
"Right... as for you, Goku, this will help you out in a few months," Trunks said as he handed Goku a capsule. "That capsule will contain the medicine necessary to take out the heart virus. When you start to notice symptoms, take the medicine and you'll be set for life. But remember, it's contagious, so anyone who gets close to you also needs to take it, so I packed about 10 doses in there," Trunks said, which Goku nodded at.
"Thanks, we'll be ready and prepared as possible," Goku smirked.
"Okay, I trust you to not tell anyone about my personal life. To make it easier, try to give me a fake name instead," Trunks said, me nodding.
"Okay... how about Tapio?" I asked, him nodding.
"Good choice. It'll take awhile for the time machine to recharge after a round trip, but rest assured, I'll try to survive until it's time to help defeat them," he said as we then disembarked back to our group and the others looked at our duo in confusion.
"So, what exactly were you two talking about with that guy? You were doing some weird stuff to what he said," Bulma frowned, me then wording it as best as I could, without giving them any clue as to who he was or his parents. But I did use the surname of Tapio, which the group looked confused at the weird name. But the reason I chose it? Because the sword that Trunks had on him was given to him by Tapion... at least, it was in the Harudagarn movie. But I kept that hidden from them as well.
And by the end of my explanation, some of them were willing to dismiss it like we were crazy.
"Seriously? You must be joking, right?" Yamcha asked with disbelief.
"Time machine, huh?" Bulma asked.
"And the Red Ribbon army? Those nasty punks were horrible back in the day! I still remember being helpless against that General Blue guy," Krillin frowned.
"You may believe what you want to believe, but believe you me, I'm going to be training like I've never trained before. These androids will be far stronger than a good majority of us as of current. After all, if Tapio was able to defeat Frieza with zero effort, imagine what would happen if even he has problems with the Androids," I said, us then hearing a weird noise and all of us looking up in the sky to see Trunks in his time machine. He then waved bye to us and, in an instant, he and his time machine vanished into the future instantly!
"Well... I don't know about you, but I'm going to start training as soon as possible," Tien said, which everyone else nodded at.
"Before that, I need to know why you took so long to get back, Goku! You just stayed in space that whole time without coming here or something?" Gine asked in annoyance to her only son, which Goku smiled.
"Well, after I got into the ship to escape, I ended up zooming to a planet called Yardrat because I didn't know how the controls work. Very nice folk, they even helped me train a bit," Goku smirked.
"You trained with the Yardrats?! They're weak, but they've got a lot of strange and unique powers for sure. I should know, I learned my powers of stunning and weakening lasers from some of them that were on my payroll, but they escaped before I did," I admitted.
"Oh, I got it! You took so long getting back because you were training on an advanced technique! Some of their strongest moves can bend reality itself!" Bonyu smirked.
"Right. While I was on Yardrat, I learned their most useful trick. It's called Instant Transmission," Goku smiled. "See, how it normally works is that instead of focusing on a place, you focus on a person's energy. And then, after doing so, you can teleport to their direct location. Just watch," Goku smiled as he then proceeded to focus on one person in specific... he then came back a few seconds later with a certain blue-haired woman in his grasp, her having two different shopping bags on her person.
'WHOA! Launch?! Where'd you find her?!" Tien gawked in surprise, which the blue haired version looked around in confusion.
"I uh... I was shopping for some clothes before Goku picked me up and... then all of a sudden, I'm here... Oh my! I didn't pay for these!" Launch said with shock, me simply taking the bags from her and smirking at her.
"Uh, Launch. It says that you already bought them on this receipt," I said, her looking at them in surprise.
"Oh... I do remember that I sneezed earlier... maybe my other side did that instead?" Launch said in confusion.
"But why didn't you come join us for this battle?" Yamcha asked her, which Launch frowned.
"Sorry, I didn't know there was one... remember, only my other side can fight and train... and we kind of stopped training for a reason... we've had too many instances where my other side sneezes when lifting a 300 pound weight or more... and then I almost get crushed under all the weight! It's too unpredictable. We'd just be a liability..." Launch sighed afterwards as she then looked to be ready to do something. "Ah... Ahhh..." before I then held my two fingers to pinch her nostrils, her then doing something worse. "Aaasccplllllpppp!" she sneezed with her nostrils completely shut, which she then immediately turned into... um... not Blonde Launch for a change.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Bulma shouted in shock as the Launch that we had in front of us now... was in the form of a green-haired girl that looked at us in surprise.
"O-Oh my god... I can remember everything of both of my sides! I-Is this real?!" she asked, her voice sounding to be a combination of both of her voices talking at once. And then, she felt the need to sneeze again. But this time when she sneezed... she stayed green! "I... I'm still me! HOW?! This is a miracle! WOOHOOO!" she cheered before then rushing to me and tackling me to the ground before giving me a hug... but this hug? I was shocked at how it was actually making my muscles and bones creek at it.
"L-Launch... can't breathe... let go..." I groaned, her then gasping and letting go of me and looking at me. "Oh... d-did I... wait... I was hurting you by hugging you?" she asked, me then immediately sensing her with my Scouter... and utterly gawking at what I saw. "No. Freaking. Way. 200 million power?!" I gawked, which made Vegeta even gasp.
"WHAT?! A human with a power level that high?! That thing must be completely broken!" Vegeta shouted.
"No, Vegeta, my Scouter's getting the same reading!" Gine gawked.
"Same here!" Stratos admitted. And it was the exact same from all of the others in my group with Scouters.
"It's a unanimous number, Vegeta. But that is still flipping insane that Launch had this power in her all along... and all she had to do to realize it was to hold her nostrils completely shut and sneeze as viciously as possible," I smirked. "But regardless, could it be possible for you to train me in how to use this Instant Transmission power? It could be quite useful for future endeavors if more of us knew it," I smiled at him.
"Sure thing, but it's a bit tricky to learn," he smiled.
"I had a feeling it would be, but I'm willing to learn. After all, I already know two Yardrat techniques from 50 years ago until today, so I'm sure I could learn it faster than you could," I smiled.
"Want to place a bet on it?" Gohan smirked.
"Heh, sure. If I can learn it within 1 year's time, you have to do me a huge favor, Goku," I said, him looking at me with a smile.
"And what is that?" he asked.
"I want you to allow me to make a wish on the Dragonballs. One that can make it so that I can reproduce with others that aren't my own kind," I said, which he looked confused at.
"Uh... why ask permission for that?" he asked.
"Because I'm polite like that, unlike the rest of my race," I smiled at him.
"Speaking of, how did you and your family end up being the last of your kind? You always seem to dodge that question," Vegeta asked. And him being the one to ask that question, and genuinely so? It was a surprise!
"Oh... uh... I expected literally everyone but you to ask me about that, Vegeta... no offense, I'm just surprised," I said awkwardly.
"It's a question that I've always wanted to know, but none of the others in the army would tell me," Vegeta frowned.
"Well, just for the fact that you asked me, I think I'll tell everyone at once. But could it wait until I take Goku to meet up with Chi-Chi again? She's worried sick about you, mister Super Saiyan," I smirked, which made him gawk.
"Oh crud, you're right! I completely forgot about that!" Goku said in shock.
"We'll follow after and wait for the story until after you meet with her... she may need some prodding in order to let Gohan train again, though," Lamp admitted.
