Regina's PoV:
Two Years Ago:
After leaving Emma standing there in the middle of the field, I headed straight over to the Sheriff after releasing Emma's Mother, as I approach the Sheriff, I notice that his falcon has returned.
"Sheriff? What plans do you have in mind for these bandits?" I asked knowing him well enough, that he would have most likely already devised some kind of plan.
"I just received word, that these bandits will arrive the day after tomorrow," he looks around before taking a step closer towards me, "we are going to need more men, I can send word, though I doubt they will make it in time," the Sheriff tells me in a low whisper, "I am not worried, surely with your magic we will be able to put a stop to these bandits once and for all," the Sheriff exclaims to me with a stiff jaw.
I glance around the village, most pacifically at all the men and the young boys, they weren't exactly soldiers, however from past experiences, I know they can fight when given the right motivation, god knows how many times villagers stood up to me when trying to defend Snow White, shaking my head slightly not wanting to let unpleasant thoughts of the past distract me, I turn my attention back to the Sheriff, getting back to the task at hand.
"Gather all the men who are able to fight, have them train with my guards, some training is better than none, we must use what little time we have, to be prepared for the battle ahead," as I said this, Emma walks past us and over to her mother, once again I couldn't help the thought entering my mind that she might indeed be the daughter of Snow White, if she does agree to bear my child, I cannot let these thoughts get in the way.
"Was there anything else my queen?" the Sheriff asked me.
"Yes, find out when Snow White and Prince David are due to arrive," I order him as I spotted Frey the little girl, I had taken in many years ago before finally bringing her here to live with a family.
"Frey?" I said walking over to her, she flinches as I approach her, "no need to be afraid, am not here to hurt you," I reassure her, as I smile sweetly at the girl, not quite believing what a beautiful young lady she has turned into.
"You know my name?" she asked me in an unsettled voice.
"We met once before, when you were much younger, you don't remember, and it must remain that way," I explain to the girl, in a soft tone.
"Why don't I remember?" Frey asks me, before I had a chance to answer her an older girl came running over and stood in-between us.
"Please, I beg of you don't hurt my sister," it was the brunette from before, that had her arms loosely wrapped around her, Frey's older sister whose name escapes me.
"I am not here to hurt anyone, especially not Frey, tell me do you have any wounded that may benefit from my healing magics?" I asked her, looking her up and down, she was also very beautiful, if Emma refused to bear my child, then I could propose the same for this girl, with one difference, that Frey came to live with us, that girl has made her way into my heart without her even knowing it.
"My friend," Frey says from behind her sister, before she had a chance to finish what she was saying her sister turned to give her a warning look.
"What about your friend?" as I place a hand on her sister's shoulder pushing her aside.
"One of those Bandits took her eye, she is only five years of age, nonetheless she is my friend, are you able to help her?" Frey asked me, I knew without seeing the girl I would be able to restore her eye.
"Take me to her," I tell Frey.
"No, we don't need your help," Frey's older sister said once again stepping in-between us.
"Helga, let her help," Frey says to her sister, as I look at the girl, I couldn't help thinking that the name Helga really suited her, with her long brunet hair and hazel eyes with high cheekbones, Frey steps around her and takes my hand in her's, "It's alright Helga," I'm amazed that this fearless girl, even when we first met when she was very young she never feared me, after she run away and I had found her, she promise that one day she would kill me, to get revenge for her parents death, that was the reason why I had taken her memories from her, knowing that one day she would fulfil her promise, that however didn't stop me from caring for the girl.
With her hand in mine, we walked toward one of the smaller cottages, as we entered the tiny cottage, the moment the woman saw me, she stood up, picking up her daughter, who has bandages covering half of her face, without a word I take the little girl from her arms, placing her to sit on the edge of the table, I slowly unwrap her bandages, seeing a hole where her eye should be.
"Does it hurt?" I ask the girl, she nod's her head, "I can take your pain away and I can give you, your eye back," I turn towards the girl's mother, "I will need to take your daughter back to my palace as I have everything I need there, I understand this is hard for you and that you don't trust me, I'm just asking for a chance to help you," I tell her as I have never been one to hurt children if i can help it, plus if helping this girl get Emma to agree to bear my child than all the better.
Emma's PoV:
Present Day:
Wrapping my arms around Regina's neck, my hands find their way into Regina's hair, deepening our kiss, I run my tongue along Regina's lips asking for permission to enter, Regina parted her lips allowing me into her mouth, our tongue's dance together as I felt my passion grow deep in my stomach, Regina bit my tongue, not hard enough to hurt me, just enough to make me pull back my tongue from her mouth.
Regina took my lower lip in-between her teeth, flicking her tongue over my lower lip, before biting my lip hard enough to drew blood, I pulled back, touching my lip with two of my fingertips, withdrawing my fingers from my lips I noticed the tiniest spot of blood, I look up at Regina with wide eyes, Regina had an mischievous smile on her face, I smile back at her before attacking her lips again.
Suddenly the carriage jolted hard, so hard that I hit my head on the roof of the carriage hard.
"Oh, that hurt," I stated as I rub the top of my head.
"Here let me look," Regina says in a caring tone of voice, as she slid me off her lap, into the seat next to her, she gently takes a-hold of my face, pulling it downwards so she could examine my head, "It's doesn't look too bad," Regina says before placing a kiss on my cheek, "STOP THE CARRIAGE!" Regina yelled at the top of her lungs, to say she was angry right now would be an understatement.
Regina gets out of the carriage, I hope to the gods that she doesn't crush anyone's heart, with a heavy sigh I get out of the carriage, as I need to stretch my legs anyway, knowing better then to get involved with Regina telling off her guards, I just take in our surroundings, we had pulled over by what looked like a cornfield, closing my eyes, I inhale deeply, a smell of musky corn dust with an earthy fragrance hits my nose, I felt a little sad as the smell reminded me of home and just how much I miss my family.
Snow-White's PoV:
Two Years Ago:
We made good time today, which I'm very pleased about, if we carry on like this tomorrow, we might just get to Dune after nightfall with any luck, after we had made camp, Red and I had gone to bathe in the river and left the men to sort out what we were going to eat tonight.
After removing our clothes before we step into the water with caution since we have no idea what the temperature of the water would be, to our surprise it was pleasantly warm, we swam around enjoying the last hour of light before the sun was due to set.
"David's worried about you, we all are," Red says as we swim next to each other.
"I know, he is, I want to be better, I want to go back to the girl he fell in love with, I'm afraid she's gone forever," I explained to Red.
"Most men, don't understand at a mother and a child's bond starts long before we give birth to them," Red says pushing her lips together in thought, "Maybe I should come around more with little red, would that help?" Red asks me, I love that she calls her daughter little red even though they named her Rae.
"I would very much like to see more of you, plus being around Rae might help me or it might not," I said sadly, thinking that when my daughter returns, she might think I try to replace her with Rae.
"Has the blue fairy told you anything more about when you will get to see your daughter again? it's been sixteen years," Red asked me as if she had read my thoughts.
"The last time I talked to her, she just told me that my daughter is happy, of course I'm glad to hear my daughter is happy, however I'm worried that when the time comes to tell her the truth about who she is and where she comes from, that she will reject me," It felt good to finally share my fears with someone who understood, I had tried telling David and like a good husband he listened to me, that in itself is a great comfort to me and I love him for trying to understand, even if he hasn't got the first clue.
"It won't be easy, and Emma might reject you, especially if she is going to be taken away from everything she loves, it will be just as hard on her as it will be on you, Emma may already have parents who she loves, and you are going to need to be prepared for that, or have you ever considered that the blue fairy has told Emma everything? Have you even asked blue?" Red asked me, I consider her words carefully for a moment, realising that I had never allowed myself to think about that as a possibility, because I would have been giving myself false hope, and that would've have led to more heartbreak.
