And now The Guardians learn as much as they can throughout their stay in Daybreak Town.

Keep an eye out for Cartoon Characters referenced by Keyblade Wielders

Ephemer led Sora, Riku, and Kairi through the streets of Daybreak Town.

The Destiny Trio took in the sights of this town, the Daybreak sky above them giving an extra sense of amazement. It was like Twilight Town with its permanent sunset sky, however instead of giving the feeling of going home and settling down, it had more of a 'get up early and seize the day' kind of vibe.

"This place is very interesting." Riku thought aloud. "Do other Keyblade Wielders really live here?"

"Yep." Smiled Ephemer. "They each have their own living residences all around this place."

"Does it depend on their Union where they stay?" Asked Kairi.

"Nope." Ephemer shook his head. "You're just assigned a place to live after coming here. The town and its people aren't divided into parts depending on which of five factions they choose. (1)

"So you just choose the Union, you're a part of?" Asked Sora

"Kinda." Replied Ephemer. "It's sorta complicated with details, but yes. You get to choose the Union you want to be a part of. And while they're all with different people, their goals are still the same: Gather lux for this world and defend it from Heartless.

"Interesting." Sora replied. "So who else is in your union."

"Well Lillian is. She's one of the girls you saw earlier." The curly haired boy explained.

"Oh yeah." Kairi realized. "We didn't know what happened to her and Liza after we defeated the Heartless. I hope they're OK."

"We are!" They heard Lillian call out behind them.

They turned around and saw her and Liza approach.

"Are you two OK?" Riku asked the younger children.

"Affirmative." Liza smiled. "We were halfway across the First District when Lillian wished to see you, Ephemer in action with your Keyblade. We arrived after you guys parted ways which we implied the fight was over and then followed you to meet up with you."

Ephemer smiled. "You really do look up to me, don't you, Lillian?"

Lillian smiled. "Uh-huh! You're great!"

"I do believe that as a beginner Keyblade Wielder who is not old enough to go on missions, she sees you as someone to copy in fighting methods so she can be prepared herself for when the time comes." Liza elaborated to Ephemer.

"Makes sense," The boy smiled. "I'm one of the best after all. I guess that's why Master Ava made me one of the Dandelions."

Now this was a new phrase for the Guardians. They turned to Ephemer with piqued curiosity.

"What are 'Dandelions?'" Riku asked Ephemer. "Are they another Union?"

Ephemer realized what he said and backtracked. "Oh, no no no. They're not an official union. They're actually a group of Keyblade Wielders with a few members from each of the five unions, all grouped together. For the sole purpose of keeping light alive."

"Speaking of, Ephemer." Liza spoke up. "How is Daria faring? I haven't seen her around the Leopardus Union ever since she was chosen as a Dandelion."

"She's doing great." Ephemer replied. "She talks about you a lot, Liza, and her Keyblade skills are coming along nicely. She's such a sweet girl. Someone who doesn't deserve to be endangered by the upcoming Keyblade War."

Sora, Riku, and Kairi were alarmed. "Keyblade War?!"

"Yes." Was Ephemer's grim reply. "Apparently there has been discord among the Five Union leaders. They are staring to get at each others throats, which is starting to culminate into an inevitable war between Unions and their members. The Dandelions are instructed not to participate in this war but rather retreat from it and survive to preserve the light."

"Wait! So this is the first Keyblade War that happened all 100 years ago!?" Sora exclaimed in shock.

All faces turned to him from his outburst. Riku and Kairi looking at him with faces of horror while Ephemer, Liza and Lillian looked at him with curiosity.

"What do you mean by 'first Keyblade War that happened all 100 years ago'?" Asked Ephemer. "The only Keyblade war we know of is the one that's going to happen soon."

The Destiny Trio looked at each other and knew they were busted.

"I guess there's no point in hiding it from you anymore, isn't there?" Kairi slumped her shoulders.

"Hiding what?" Asked Lillian.

"Yeah, What in the name of Superbia are you three babbling about exactly?" Asked Liza.

Riku took a deep breath. "There's a lot to tell you...and not a lot of time. (2)

Moogle Shop

Roxas, Naminé and, Xion entered the store and found it empty save for a single Moogle who served as its cashier.

"Um...hey there." Roxas nervously called out.

"Good day." The Moogle spoke. "How can I help you, kupo?"

"We're here to buy some new clothes," Xion explained. "Do you have anything I can change into?"

"Well, you've come to the right place, kupo!" The Moogle replied. "We have plenty of clothes for to change into." he handed her a catalogue of clothes. "And we have a dressing room over in the back for you to try them on."

The trio looked over the choices from the catalog. Xion being the first to voice her concern.

"These seem like a lot." She spoke to her friends. "How do I know which one will be the right choice."

"Xion," Roxas assured. "These are just clothes. There's never going to be a wrong choice."

"Besides." Naminé added. "There are millions of choices in here. Something you like might come up."

"Thanks." Xion spoke. Her eyes then noticed one particular clothing option. "How about this, let's try it on!"

She walked over to the counter. Pointed the set to the Moogle who handed her a bag of said clothes. She grabbed it and walked to the dressing room.

Roxas and Naminé waited until she was finished changing. And she stepped out.

She wore a fuchsia-pink jumper that stopped above her knees, with a white short-sleeve T-shirt underneath, a deep purple belt, white socks, pink Mary Janes, and a pink bow on her head (3).

"So, what do you think?" She asked.

"I think it's cute." Naminé suggested.

But Roxas thought otherwise.

"While it's...interesting Xion, I think you could do better." He tried to offer. "Do you think there's another set of clothes you could try on?"

Xion picked up the catalog. Chose something else and rushed back in to change.

Seconds later she came out wearing a red jacket with each a single blue and white stripes around the sleeves with matching shorts. A white hooded t-shirt underneath with a gray undershirt. Gray socks and teal, white and yellow sneakers. Around her neck was a camera held with a black leather strap with yellow writing (4)

"How's this?" She asked.

"I like the street style." Roxas spoke up.

But clearly, Naminé thought otherwise.

"Next?" She offered as sweetly as she could.

Xion sighed and took another option from the catalog.

She got changed into it and walked out wearing a short, teal leather jacket with a crimson patch bearing a white skull on the back, a white T-shirt with the roundel of the RAF on the front, two helix piercings on her ears, a pair of deep burgundy jeans with two slight holes at the knees, a black belt with silver studs, and dark purple boots. (5)

"How 'bout this one?" she asked.

Roxas and Naminé cringed at its style was not fitting Xion in even the slightest.

"No-o." They both spoke in unison, forcing Xion to take another option.

While she was dressing. Roxas and Naminé both looked at each other with unsure looks on their faces.

This was going to take a while. (6)

1st District

Elsewhere, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Max walked onward through the streets of Daybreak Town.

"This town is huge," Max said in awe. "But it's also so beautiful."

"True." added Daisy. "The Daybreak Sky is something to behold. It's like getting up early to seize the day. Or in this case, getting ready to defend this town and fight heartless."

"Speak for yourself," Donald stifled a yawn. "All this dang sky's doing is making me want to be back in bed."

"Yeah," Goofy replied. "It does feel pretty tiring to walk through this entire town."

Daisy and Max facepalmed at their Fiancé/Dad's laziness.

"Well," said Daisy, let's split up. "That way we can cover more ground."

"Sounds good." replied Max. "Dad, you wanna go with me?"

"Sure thing son," said Goofy. "That leaves Donald and Daisy together."

"I like that," said Donald but shrunk when he saw Daisy's firm face.

"Which means you have to be on your best behavior, Buster." she scolded. "So no more complaining."

"Yes ma'am." Donald whimpered, as Goofy and Max snickered.

"Good, now with that out of the way, we can begin our covering of more grounds." she took Donald by the arm and led him away further down the stairs.

The Goof family themselves turned and headed in the opposite direction from a path that lead into another area of town.

Roxas and Naminé had waiting for so long, they had gone through so many different clothing options for Xion. However, they deemed all the clothes chosen too bright, wacky, or too age-inappropriate. At this point, they had pretty much given up.

"OK." Xion's voice called out from the dressing room. "I'm gonna call it with...this one."

The former nobodies of Sora and Kairi braced themselves to see what bad choice they would face as Xion stepped out...only to be surprised at what the former Replica had chosen as her new set of attire.

Xion stood there wearing a mini black-collared and black-belted shirt-dress with short ruffled sleeves, a short white pleated skirt slightly covered by the black top she wore, and black ankle-length boots that were white at the top and tied together with black laces and decorated near the soles with studded belts the same patterns as Kairi's bracelets. (7)

Roxas and Naminé were gaping.

Xion slumped. "I knew this option was shitty for you guys. Honestly, I don't know what I was-"

"No, no!" Naminé cried out as she ran forward to her fellow Kairi-look alike. "It's...it's wonderful, Xion."

"Yeah." agreed Roxas as he rushed up to his friend. "It really suits you."

"Thanks." Xion smiled sweetly at her friends. "I'm just glad I found something that suits me."

The Moogle interrupted the conversation by floating up to them. "Pardon me, kupo. But someone has to pay for those."

"Oh, right." Roxas pulled a bag of Munny from his pocket and handed it to the owner.

"Pleasure doing business with you, kupo." the Moogle responded. He then noticed Xion's style. "Also, nice choice of clothes, kupo. You almost look like one of the citizens here...aside from the hairstyle, kupo."

There it was again for Xion. First Ephemer said her hair color reminded her of a friend of his, now this Moogle was saying her style reminded it of someone else too.

"Th-thanks." She hesitantly responded.

She left with Roxas and Naminé as they returned to Fountain Square.

"Well, that takes care of that." smiled Roxas. "Now, to find Sora and the others."

"You guys go on ahead." Xion spoke aloud. "I want some time to reflect on my new fashion choice."

Naminé and Roxas looked at each other and shrugged. "Okay." "Suit yourself." They both said and they headed off to the 2nd district.

Once she was alone. Xion walked over to the fountain and stared at her reflection in it.

Up until now she was never concerned with her appearance. Why she looked the way she was.

She knew that she resembled Kairi due to her appearance being formed by Sora's strongest memories of Kairi which was why her face, voice and hairstyle were those of said girl.

However her hair color was an entirely different story. Instead of Kairi's brick-red color, it was more of a raven-black. At first she just dismissed this but now, with two people from this era commenting how it reminded them of someone else was starting to make wonder...was there someone else who had a hand in influencing her physical appearance?

She thought back to her time with Roxas and Lea (back when he was Axel). And how they were the only ones who saw her in the appearance as a Black Haired Kairi. Of course Roxas was the first one to see her as that due to Sora's memories of Kairi affecting him. But Lea. He had never met Kairi until both her and Roxas were back inside Sora. That was unless there was someone in his past he met who he remembered to a point where it made an imprint. Of that was any indication, It wasn't only Roxas didn't have a hand in subconsciously influencing her appearance but Lea as well.

The question was: Who was it Lea met that made him mold her appearance with black hair?

She'd have to ask him when they got back, though chances were, he'd probably not remember due to his past childhood as Lea before becoming Axel happening a long time ago.

"Hey, Skuld!"

Xion was pulled out of her thoughts by two voices. Two girls around 16-17 ran up to her.

One of them had freckles and dark brown hair in a boy like style. She wore a purple t-shirt with a white skull on it. A lavender skirt with white studded belts, spiked bracelets on her wrists and purple thigh high boots.

The other girl also had brown hair but in a lighter shade. She had her hair in a ponytail with a yellow scrunchie. She had buck-teeth, wore a white shirt with a yellow flower brooch to the side. A yellow skirt with matching stiletto heeled boots with pink flowers decorated on the sides.

Xion turned to them causing both girls to stop.

"Oh sorry, dudette." The purple girl shrunk. "Our mistake. You're not Skuld. We just thought you looked like her because of your clothes and hair color."

"I understand your confusion." Xion replied. "I'm new to this town, and you guys aren't the first people to be reminded of someone from here."

"Your short hair should have been a giveaway." The yellow girl replied sheepishly. "I guess we're not really a cut above the rest." She laughed at this joke. "Get it?"

Xion cringed at this joke and looked at the purple girl.

"Get used to it, she makes jokes like this a lot." Was the response she got.

"Ok." She slowly spoke. "My name is Xion, what are yours?"

"I'm Luella." Said the Purple Girl. "This is Louise." She gestured to the yellow girl who waved.

"Hi, Luella. Hi, Louise." Xion waved to the girls.

"Hi, Xion." They both replied.

"So, I take it you're not part of any union since you said you're new to our town?" Louise asked.

"No, I'm not." Xion shook her head. "But what about you, which Union are you guys a part of?"

"We're both members of the Anguis Union." replied Luella. "That's the Union lead by Master Invi: The Snake Mask."

"You should definitely join our Union." Insisted Louise. "We'd be very happy if you slithered in with us." She laughed. "Get it?"

"Yeah, I do." Xion narrowed her eyes annoyed. "Sorry girls, I appreciate your offer but I'm only going to be here for a short time. I'm on a mission with my friends. So I won't have time to join a union before I leave."

"Aww, That's a shame." Luella sighed. "But if you're still around in town by tomorrow night, I have a music gig I'm going to perform in Daybreak Square if you'd like to check that out. All your fears and lies there will melt away!"

"I'll consider it." Was Xion's uncertain reply. "And I'm sure my friends would enjoy it too."

"Awesome." Luella smiled. "I'd like for you to see it!" Her eyes widened. "Oh! That reminds me, I need to help my friends set up the stage. C'mon Louise!" She sprinted off.

"I for one wooden miss it." Louie joked as she followed Luella

As those two girls left. Xion sat by the fountain. The name Louise called her: Skuld. This might have been the girl who helped Lea subconsciously influence Xion's hair color. And If Ephemer and that Moogle's words were anything to go by, this "Skuld" existed back during this time too. But if this were the case how did she get to Lea's time from the past, and more importantly, where was she?

Xion stood up from the fountain, deciding to make it her mission to find this Skuld person, and possibly unravel the mystery of their similar appearance.

She got up and walked up a set of stairs next to the Moogle Shop.

Goofy and Max made their way through another district trying to ask people around about the Heartless.

So far they had no luck, as there weren't many people roaming around or even listening to their plight.

"You know, for a town of Keyblade Wielders, they don't really seem to be willing to lend a hand to fellow wielders in need." Max bitterly complained.

"I know son," Goofy tried to comfort Max. "But it's like Ephemer said; these people are keyblade wielders who go world to world fighting Heartless, it's likely that most of them are out doing missions."

"Maybe." Max sighed. "But if we want to help their home, they'll need to tell us, how we can help."

"Someone please help!" Cried a voice.

The Goof family turned around and saw three young girls around the age of 10.

One of them wore a pink dress with orange hair in a red ribbon. She had brown eyes.

The second wore a cyan dress with blonde hair tied in pigtails with blue beaded ties. She had blue eyes.

The third wore a green dress with Black Hair in a bob with a noticeable tuft sticking out. She had green hair.

They were all running after three Bag O' Jewels. One of them holding a giant bag of spoils over its head.

The girls were seemingly trying to recover the bag from the Heartless.

"Oh no!" cried Max. "Those girls were robbed, we have to help them."

"That's a good idea, Maxie." Goofy replied. "But how do we get over to those crooks, we're too far away."

Max thought for a moment, and then got an idea, he summoned All For One.

"Dad, I'm really sorry for what I'm about to do."

"It'll be alright, Max." Goofy assured his son. "Anything to help the people in need."

Max empowered his keyblade with a fire spell and batted his father's butt with it.

Goofy launched forward like a bullet hollering "YAAAAAHOOHOOHOOHOOEY!"

He flew over the three girls and slammed into the three heartless, grabbing the bag. in his launch, while causing them to fly up like bowling pins and clatter to the ground. (8)

Goofy recovered to see that he was surrounded by the Heartless who (if they could express themselves) looked angry.

"DAD!" Max exclaimed in horror. He readied his keyblade and charged towards the Bags O' Jewels only for a voice to cry out, "Wait!"

The three girls from before charged forward and stood next to him.

"You tried to help us get out stuff back, so let's help you finish off these guys!" said the Pink girl.

"Thanks, uh.." Max stammered

"Bloom." she said.

"BonBon!" smiled the blue one

"Breeze!" smirked the Green one.

"Yeah, you three." said Max, "But how are you going to help me? Unless you have Keyblades, we don't stand a-"

Bloom summoned a Spellbinder Keyblade, BonBon summoned a Sweet Dreams Keyblade, and Breeze summoned a Knockout Punch Keyblade.

"Nevermind." Max quickly spoke. "Ok, let's do this thing girls!"

Information: Defeat the Heartless and Rescue Goofy

Max started by slashing at one Bag o' Jewels and using a Fira spell on another. (Ooooohhhhhh YEAH!)

Bloom fired a Blizzara spell from her Keyblade freezing another and then finishing with a Sliding Dash. (Who's got the power? We got the power!)

BonBon did an Aerial Slam technique and then did a Confusion Strike to weaken her foes allowing Breeze to finish with a Ars Arcanum technique followed by a barrier surge.

Max was amazed at the firepower these young girls possessed.

"Alright, girls!" shouted Bloom. "Ready for the finisher!?"

She started by using a tornado strike to spin her enemies up in the air. Bonbon attacked with a blitz and Breeze knocked them back down with an aerial slam.

"Hey, doggie!" Bonbon waved at Max. "Care to do the honors?"

"Honors?" Max asked.

"Of finishing these losers off!" Breeze clarified.

Max grinned, Gladly.

He pointed his Keyblade at the enemies and shouted "ULTIMA!" Blasting the heartless away.

(Battle Music ends)

The three girls stood with Max, before walking over to Goofy who handed them their bag back.

"Thanks for getting this back for us." Bloom smiled.

"No prob." Goofy replied. "Say, for three young girls, you bring a lot of firepower."

"Oh, it's nothin'," Breeze smirked. "Since we're so strong and skilled, Master Ira allows us to go on missions despite our young ages."

"We actually collected a huge amount of Lux today when those mean Heartless chased us back here and stole it from us when we arrived." explained BonBon. "Thank you for helping us get rid of them."

"No problem," smiled Max. "We're just always willing to help out any of those in need. Speaking of...do any of. you girls know where Heartless would commonly attack, here in town?"

The girls looked at each other.

"I'm not sure where they'd attack," Bloom replied. "But if they were to start somewhere it'd probably be on that big hill outside of town." she pointed into the distance. "Usually on the outskirts from here so they can force their way in."

"Thanks for that," Goofy smiled at Bloom. "Now you take care out there and don't get into anymore trouble."

"We won't." the trio said in unison.

The Goof family took their leaves as the girls watched.

"They're really odd for citizens of Daybreak Town." said BonBon.

"That's because they're not citizens of this town." responded Breeze, "I mean, they didn't look the part to me."

"Well whoever they are," Bloom interjected. "They seem like they want to do the right thing, so I think we should trust them for the time being. Now who wants Ice Cream?"

Donald and Daisy continued walking through Daybreak Town, eventually making it near a cemetery.

"Where in town do you think the Heartless would commonly attack?" Donald asked aloud.

Daisy shrugged. "Beats me, but let's ask around."

They noticed two girls nearby.

One of them was swinging around a Victory Line Keyblade. She was 15 years old with Dark-Brown hair tied in a ponytail and freckles. She wore a Gray Vest over a white short-sleeved shirt with a red X on the front and Crimson shorts held with a black belt (Similar to Sora's appearance during his Adventures with the Dream Eaters), with black Fingerless Gloves, she wore white socks under black combat boots.

The second girl was kneeling by a gravestone reading from some sort of Book of Sermons. She looked to be about 13 years old. She had pale skin with eyes that were covered by her ink-black hair. A Black Dress similar to Kairi's current one, with matching belted boots. She wore white armbands with black stripes that went from her wrists to her elbows.

"Um. Excuse me?" Donald called out.

Both girls looked up.

"Oh, heya!" said the Red Girl in a chipper tone. "You two don't look like you're from around here."

"Are you from another world?" asked the Black Girl.

"Ummm...Yes we are." replied Daisy. "I'm Daisy Duck and this is my fiancé Donald."

"Nice to meet you." said the Red Girl, "I'm Linda."

"Lucille." was the response they got from the Black Girl. "The pleasure is all mine."

"Hi, Linda and Lucille." said Donald.

"And 'hi' back to you," Lucille spoke. "So what world are you two from."

"Oh..um well..." Daisy tried to find an explanation to their question.

"We're actually from one of the new worlds, Daybreak Town got access to." Donald tried to say a half-truth to the girls.

"Ok," said Linda. "Makes sense because neither of us have seen any likes of you during our worldly travels. I would have remembered seeing you during our missions for Master Gula."

"Master Gula?" asked Donald, "So that means..."

"We're Union Members," Lucille explained. "We're from the Leopardus Union, we compete against other unions to collect Lux to protect our worlds against Heartless."

"Yeah." said Linda as she vigorously swung Victory Line around. "Any of those shadow minions try to mess with us, we give 'em THIS! and THAT! and a few of-WHOA!"

She swung too hard and lost her grip on her Keyblade causing it to fly towards The Duck Couple who were in no condition to evade.

Daisy gasped.

Donald gasped too, but glared intensely, he summoned Mage Staff and shouted "THUNDAZA!"

Intense blasts of thunder shot from the sky, striking the loose keyblade, causing it to be knocked to the ground.

Victory Line clattered to the stone steps and was dismissed.

Linda chuckled sheepishly. "Heh-heh. Sorry about that."

"No problem." Daisy shrugged. "Keyblade wielding is kinda tricky after all."

"Yeah," Donald agreed. "Besides, I love your fiery spirit, it reminds me of my sister."

Linda smirked. "Cool, I bet she's an awesome lady."

Donald's face fell. "She was..."

Daisy looked at him in sympathy, knowing how Della was a sensitive topic to him.

Linda realized what 'She was' meant and looked sorrowful. "Wow...I'm so sorry, man."

"You have our dearest condolences," Lucille spoke grimly. "Especially mine."

"I-it's fine." Donald tried to look strong. "Really. Don't worry about it. We're trying to hunt down some Heartless who might attack this town. Do you know where they usually strike?"

The two girls thought to themselves.

"Well," Linda spoke. "They're usually found near the outskirts of town. I mean sure they do appear in the middle of town but that's only when they wanna get a quick beating."

"Thanks for that, Linda." Smiled Daisy. "And you too, Lu-" she realized Lucille was absent. "Wait, where's Lucille?"

"I'm right here." Came a voice from behind them.

Donald and Daisy yelped when they saw Lucille standing behind them.

"Don't worry." Linda spoke. "She. does this a lot."

"O...K." Daisy slowly spoke. "Well, we're just going to."

She and Donald sprinted off.

Sora, Riku and Kairi had just finished telling Ephemer, Liza, and Lillian about the timeline merge and why they were really here.

"So you guys are from another world?" Asked Ephemer.

"Yes." Sora nodded.

"And that earthquake we all experienced last night was actually our era of time being merged with yours?" Liza tried to get everything straight.

"Can't deny that." Said Riku.

"And that portal to other worlds in the sky?" Asked Lillian.

"Is a result of your world merging with ours." Kairi tried hardest to explain to the youngest girl.

The Daybreak Town denizens looked at each other with uncertainty.

"Wow...this is...a lot to take in." Ephemer slowly spoke.

"As much as I'd want to deny any of what you said..." Liza tried to say.

"It does explain everything weird happening since this morning." Lillian finished her sentence.

Ephemer turned his attention back to the Destiny Trio.

"So this Xehanort person...he's the one responsible for merging our worlds together?" He tried to clarify.

"He is." Said Riku. "We've been opposing him for some time. He's been giving us trouble ever since our adventure began. And so has the rest of his Organization."

"They're called Organization XIII, correct?" Asked Liza.

"Yep." Replied Kairi.

"And they're 13 bad guys who are trying to make the worlds into darkness?" Lillian clarified.

"That's correct." Was Riku's response.

"We came here to defend this place from him." Said Sora. "In case any of his members come here to attack it."

"I see," said Ephemer.

"Do you know of any place in town where they might send Heartless to attack?" Asked Kairi.

"To be honest, Heartless can pretty much attack anywhere." Ephemer told them. "Though the town is pretty defended due to the Keyblade Wielders wandering about. Though I'm honestly more worried about the outer regions of town."

"Do you know which places they might be?" asked Riku.

Ephemer thought to himself, "Well one place I know of is a Flower Field just outside of town, the other is a lighthouse area just on the edge of town."

Sora, Riku, and Kairi looked at each other.

"I think we should split up and investigate these areas," suggested Kairi.

"Um," said Liza. "As there are presently six of us, it's recommendable that we split into groups of three."

"I can take two people with me to the Lighthouse Area." said Ephemer. "It's also where I met another dear friend of mine."

"I'll go with Liza and Lillian to the Flower Field," Riku spoke up. "You two can go with Ephemer to the Lighthouse."

"Are you sure Riku?" Sora asked.

"Yeah," Riku replied. "You two will be just fine."

Sora and Kairi looked at him.

"Well...OK," they both slowly spoke.

"Then it's settled." said Riku as he turned and walked off with Liza and Lillian behind him.

Sora and Kairi turned to Ephemer who shrugged.

"Let him go," said the Curly boy. "He's clearly a loner."

"Yeah, Riku can be like that at times," Sora replied.

"We do worry about him though," Kairi slowly spoke. "Even if he can clearly handle himself."

Ephemer put his hands on each of their shoulders. "Hey, it's what friends do," he smiled. "Speaking of friends, We should investigate the place."

Sora nodded as he, Kairi, and Ephemer walked on.

A Few Minutes Later

Riku, Liza, and Lillian walked all the way up a hill until they reached a giant flower field.

The Flowers in it were of multiple colors and seemed to stretch out for miles.

Riku had just finished explaining more of his side of the Adventures to the other two girls.

"So Xehanort, extracted his heart from his body and placed it into that of another Keyblade Wielder named Terra?" asked Liza.

"Yes," said Riku, "After that, he drove Terra's own heart out of the body into a creature of Darkness. And then Terra-Xehanort divided himself into both a Heartless and Nobody."

"And these Nobodies," asked Lilian. "Are basically the leftover bodies of those who become a Heartless?"

Riku nodded. "Terra-Xehanort's Heartless stole the name of his Research Master: Ansem and later on, possessed me."

Liza and Lilian gasped.

"Possessed you!? Why?" cried the former.

Riku looked down in guilt.

"He took advantage of my selfishness," he explained. "You see, I wanted to be the hero, not Sora. When I was 5-years-old, Terra-before he was possessed-came to my home of Destiny Islands, and he saw a lot of potential in me. So he gifted me with the power to wield a Keyblade."

"Gadzooks!" Liza exclaimed. "A bequeathing ceremony!"

Riku nodded. "However, during the time of Ansem-Xehanort's invasion, when my world fell to Darkness, I was separated from Sora and Kairi and ended up in the remains of the Real Ansem's home; Hollow Bastion, while Kairi's heart was separated from her body and took refuge inside of Sora's and it was he who got the Keyblade intended for me: The Kingdom Key. I was manipulated by an Evil Fairy named Maleficent and her gang of villains into believing that Sora left me for Donald and Goofy. I was so jealous of him, I wanted to save Kairi and prove that I was the real hero, but since my heart was too clouded by Darkness, the Kingdom Key rejected me for Sora when I tried to take it back from him. So...when Ansem told me how to one-up Sora, I let the darkness take over my body."

Liza and Lillian stared at him in pity.

"After Sora defeated Ansem and got me my body back, a fragment of Ansem remained inside of me so I spent some time trying to reject the Darkness inside of me, until Naminé encouraged me not to fear it anymore. As a result, I use the power of Darkness for good, to protect, and not to hurt."

Liza and Lillian were in awe.

"You know there is a saying: 'Darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good.' At first, I thought that was poppycock, but after hearing your story, I can't help but think there is now some truth to that statement." said Liza.

Riku smiled. "It is true. And you're right, while there are those who can use Darkness for heroic purposes, there are those who are blinded by the idea of light only bringing good that they can resort to...questionable things." he trailed off referring to Terra, Aqua and Ventus' Teacher: Eraqus and how his fear of the Darkness drove him to do questionable things. That's why balance is important. And it's why we're here, to stop the Darkness from harming this world and to protect the Light and those who support it...using whatever we have."

"AAAAHHHHH!"

A scream broke their conversation and they turned to see three Invisible Heartless surrounding of a girl about 16 years of age.

She had fair skin, teal eyes, and long strawberry blonde hair that framed her face, with her bangs falling over her forehead down past her eyebrows with the rest of her hair tied back in two long pigtails that reached past her waist on either side of her head, said hair was tied with two orange ribbons that stuck out like flower petals with two hair clips of an X and an I on the left side of her head. She wore a white dress with black straps that fell over her shoulders and tied together in a bow on the front, she had matching sleeves on both arms and thigh-high white boots.

She was holding a Starlight Keyblade in both hands as she tried to fight back against the Sword-bearing heartless, only for one to overpower her and knock her off her feet, causing her keyblade to fly from her grip and be dismissed.

"That girl's in danger!" cried Lilian. "We have to save her!"

Riku summoned Braveheart, Liza summoned an Unbound Keyblade and Lillian summoned a Sweetstack Keyblade.

Riku charged forward as the leading Invisible raised its sword before the girl who gasped and cowered in fear.

Then it swung its weapon down.

CLANG!

The girl opened her eyes to see Riku blocking the attack by locking his weapon against that of the Heartless'.

With a mighty yell, he pushed the Invisible back and its partners floated up next to it.

"Riku!" Liza and Lillian ran forward until they flanked Riku.

"Let's do this, girls!" he ordered.

Defeat the Heartless while protecting the Girl.

Riku attacked first by using Dark Firaga to strike the first Invisible and then follow-up with an upward spring. The second tried to attack him next, but he blocked and attacked with a Counter Blast. He then charged forward and slashed both Invisibles against their chests, forcing them back.

The third one however snuck up behind him and tried to attack, Riku realized this and turned around but was in no condition to counter or evade.

"THUNDER!"

Two thundara spells struck the third Invisible causing it to drop its attempt to attack.

Riku turned and saw Liza and Lillian with their keyblades raised smiling.

Riku smiled and turned back to attack the Invisibles.

"Cover me." he ordered Liza and Lillian before lunging forward at his enemies.

Liza and Lillian both charged up behind Riku and attacked the Heartless as well. While Lillian fought by swinging her keyblade around, Liza went for a more pragmatic approach of dodging attacks and using spells at the right moments. Despite Liza and Lillian's small stature, they were still putting up a decent fight against some of the tougher Heartless known to man.

"Girls!" Riku shouted to Liza and Lillian. "You ready to finish this?"

"You bet!" they nodded.

The trio leaped back to group up and lunged towards the three Heartless; Riku executing a Dark Divide Shotlock, firing disks of darkness onto the Invisibles to weaken them, Liza following up with a Triple Blizzaza to Immobilize them, and Lillian finishing with a fire surge.

With them weakened, Riku administered the finishing blow with a Fission Firaga, firing a ball of fire from Braveheart that exploded once it reached the Heartless.

When it cleared, they were all gone.

[Battle Music Ends]

The two wielders and master dismissed their weapons and panted.

"You two OK?" Riku asked.

Liza cast a potion on herself and nodded. "Affirmative."

"I'm good too." nodded Lillian.

With them both accounted for, Riku turned his attention toward the girl they rescued earlier.

[Music: Silver White Heart from Fire Emblem Engage]

He walked towards her and extended his hand.

"Are you OK?" he asked

The girl stared in awe at him for a few moments before composing herself and taking his hand as he helped her up. "Yes, I am. Thank you for saving me"

"You know you shouldn't strain yourself like that." he pointed out. "You could get hurt doing so."

"I know," she replied sheepishly "It's just...I want to be as skilled a Keyblade Wielder as my brother is. But I guess I got too reckless there, I'm really sorry."

"It's not a problem." responded the Silver-haired boy. "It usually takes time to develop the skill you need to succeed in life, the key to success is being patient."

The girl blushed for a few moments. "Wow, that's some very helpful advice. Thanks, um..."

"My name is Riku, I'm a Keyblade Master visiting from another world." the Silver-haired boy replied.

"Strelitzia." the girl replied as Riku looked confused. "That's my name," she affirmed. "It's Strelitzia."

"Strelitzia," Riku repeated. "That's an interesting name. Well, Strelitzia, if you keep at it while also taking of yourself, I'm sure you'll reach the same level of strength as your brother.

Strelitzia blushed for a few moments. "Heh-heh...you think so."

"I do." Riku smiled. "Whoever he is, he must be a good guy...and lucky to have a sister like you...can you tell me his name so I can find him myself?"

Strelitzia paused before speaking slowly. "His name is-"

[Music: Surprise Attack from Fire Emblem Engage]

She was suddenly cut off by Neoshadows appearing around her, Riku, Liza, and Lillian.

They all gasped.

"What the hell!?" exclaimed Riku.

"More Heartless!' cried Strelitzia.

They summoned their keyblades.

Suddenly they heard explosions coming from the distance, they turned and saw explosions coming from Daybreak Town.

"Aww Poo-poo," muttered Lillian.

"Eye of Luxuria! They're attacking the town!" Liza gasped.

"Someone's gotta go help!" cried Riku, he then turned to the Neoshadows confronting them. "But it seems we'll have to deal with these jerks first."

"You go protect the town!" Strelitzia ordered as she used a Flower Shoot spell onto a Neoshadow. "If you're a Keyblade Master from another world then you should have no problem with protecting the people. Liza, Lillian, and I will hold them off!"

"But-" Riku tried to protest.

"If you stay here with us, the town will continue to be in jeopardy!" said Liza as she slashed away a Neoshadow.

"Just go!" cried Lillian.

Riku clenched his fists thinking. He then looked up.

"Ok. I'll go, but none of you DARE get killed!" he firmly ordered before turning and running down the hill to the town.

Goofy and Max made their way up a green hill that overlooked Daybreak Town.

"Wow." Breathed Max as he took in the giant view of the town. "It's so beautiful."

"I agree, son" smiled Goofy. "Do ya think we'll be able to find some heartless here?"

"Oh, you're looking for them too?." Asked a new voice.

Goofy and Max turned around and saw two boys and girl around the ages of 14-17 come up to them.

One of the boys wore a mustard yellow dog hat over blonde hair. He wore A blue short sleeved T-shirt with dark blue shorts and black boots.

The other boy had a chubby face and Had black hair in a puffy style. He wore a pink varsity jacket over a red T shirt with a star on the center. Blue pants and pink sandals.

The girl was of Indian descent. She had shoulder length black hair and red glasses with rose lenses. She wore a blue polo shirt with a red glow bracelet on her left wrist with the charm of a Lion attached to it, a dark gray skirt with red boots and green socks.

"Um, hi there." Max waves. "I'm Max and this is my Dad, Goofy." Goofy waved.

"Hi Goofy and Max." Said the Dog hat boy. "I'm Pen (9) and these are Stefan and Carrie." He gestured to the other boy and girl respectively.

"Hi, Stefan, Hi Carrie." Max waved.

"So what brings you to Daybreak Town?" Asked Stefan. "Are you guys from another world?"

"A-Hyuk!" Goofy nodded. "You got that right."

"Makes sense. Because you two didn't look like you were from around here?" Said Carrie.

"We're visiting from another world." Goofy told them a half-truth. "We heard this town is in trouble because of some Heartless."

"It's true, Heartless do attack this town a lot." Said Pen. "But it has a lot of Keyblade Wielders to help protect it."

"Still, it never hurts to have more helping hands." Stefan sweetly smiled.

"Yeah," smiled Carrie. "I didn't even help them out on their missions until a while back when I became a Keyblade wielder. And I already moved to this town long before then."

Max felt encouraged by their comments especially with what Carrie said. Thinking back on how he started out by waiting for his dad to come home from his missions to assist him on them to the point where he became a Keyblade wielder and a Guardian of Light.

"Yeah." He smiled as a single tear of joy left his eye. "It never hurts to have more helping hands."

"Maxie?" Goofy looked at his son.

Max smiled at his father. "I'm OK, Dad. I promise."

Their tender moment was cut short when several Large Body heartless appeared.

"Trouble!" Cried Stefan.

Pen summoned the Fenrir Keyblade. Stefan summoned the Treasure Trove Keyblade and Carrie summoned the Metal Chocobo Keyblade.

Goofy summoned Knight's Shield while Max summoned All for One.

However they heard a loud explosion come from the center of the city.

"More trouble!" Cried Carrie.

"Heartless are attacking the town too?!" Cried Goody.

"But we can't let them attack here either!" Exclaimed Max.

"We'll split up!" Shouted Max. "Dad and I will go protect the town..."

"And we'll kick these Heartless' boo-tays!" Pen finished. "Don't worry about us, we've got plenty of experience in fighting Heartless."

"We didn't say you did not." Max pointed out.

Father and Son nodded at each other and bolted back towards the town.

Donald and Daisy made their way until they were at another edge of town. Below them was a set of stairs that lead down to a small pathway through a grassy field.

On either side of the road were trees and scattered out in the field were shrubs shaped like Stars.

"This is one of the places near the outskirts of town, right?" asked Daisy.

"Yeah," replied Donald. "Now we just need to scout out any Heartless."

"Ugh! Lila, I told you not to get any of your Princess stuff near Leaps!" a gruff voice broke out

"Well, Lottie I wouldn't have to bring it out if he wasn't leaping all over it. This stuff looks beautiful enough without him getting any of his slime all over it." a whiny, snobby voice replied

"Donald and Daisy turned and saw two twin girls, both around the age of 12 standing opposite sides of each other. Both with blonde hair

One of them wore a red Baseball Cap on backward with her hair tied in two braids, a teal T-shirt with a Lizard on it, a blue short-sleeved jacket similar to Sora's during his first adventure, and matching pants with combat boots and fingerless gloves.

The Second wore a Pink dress that went down to her knees with magenta thigh-high boots. A necklace with a heart charm on it. White princess gloves and a headband with a small pink crown decoration on it.

Both twins seemed to be staring each other down and growling at each other before lunging at each other and forming a fight cloud.

Donald, being the peacemaker and master with kids, stepped between them and pulled them apart.

"Alright, enough out of you two."

"She started it!" The twins pointed at each other.

But Donald wasn't having any of it.

"Both of you, apologize to each other." he firmly ordered.

The twins grumbled to each other and said to each other, "Sorry."

"Thank you." Donald spoke.

"Hey, who are you to boss us around anyways, Mr. Duck?" the Blue Complained.

"I am the Uncle of Three orphaned children who I raised as my own after their mother left." said Donald. "So believe me when I say I know a lot about parenting."

"I can see that." said the Pink Twin. "Your anger is something I wouldn't want to stand up against, and I'm one of the maddest people here."

Donald and Daisy looked at her in bewilderment.

"It's true." said the Blue Twin. "She's done a lot of crazy stuff around this town when she's made mad. So far the only other person besides you who can stand up to her is Master Aced from our Union."

"So you two are...Union Members." Daisy spoke in surprise.

"Yep." replied the Pink Twin. "We're from the Ursus Union, I'm Lila and this is Lottie." she gestured to her twin who waved.

"And this is Leaps." Lottie held up a small green frog.

"I'm Donald Duck." Donald replied.

"And I'm Daisy Duck." said Daisy. "His Fiancée."

"So you two are walking-talking ducks?" asked Lottie. "That is so cool!"

"I do admit, it is nothing like what we've seen on our missions to other worlds." said Lila. "And even more so to actually see them here in Daybreak Town."

"Well, we're actually visiting from another world." said Donald. "We're here to defend it from Heartless. Is this one of the places they usually attack?"

The twins smirked at each other.

"It was," grinned Lila. "But we took them out."

This surprised the Duck Couple. "You two took them out?" Daisy exclaimed. "How?"

"If you think our fights with each other are intense, wait till you see us in combat with Heartless," smirked Lottie.

This disturbed both Donald and Daisy.

All of a sudden. There was a large explosion from the center of town.

"Trouble!" Daisy exclaimed.

"Aw, yeah!" grinned Lila. "Time to shine!"

"Not if I shine first!" Lottie snarled.

Both Twins got in each other's faces.

Donald and Daisy quickly exchanged looks before pushing the twins apart.

"Actually, why don't the two of you stay here where it's safe and Daisy and I will take care of it." Donald ordered.

The twins looked at each other and shrugged as the Duck Couple ran off.

"Do you think if we had twins, it would be this hard raising them?" Daisy asked Donald as they hurried into town square.

Donald shook his head. "I have parented TRIPLETS, Twins is literally one less thing to worry about."

Roxas and Namine were traveling across a Market Area, searching for any Heartless that might attack, but so far they had no luck.

"Do you think we should turn back?" Naminé asked her boyfriend.

"Nah," Roxas shook his head. "I think we should keep going, we're almost at the edge of town."

"Ok," Naminé groaned. She was unsure about this, they were walking for miles so far, yes it was good for the legs but too much of this walking was making them ache.

"Hey, Ven!" came a girl's voice.

"I thought his name was Ventus." another girl's voice spoke back.

Roxas' eyes widened. "Did they just call me..."

"I know it's due to your appearance that they'd mistake you," replied Naminé, but how would they know...?"

They turned around and saw two girls run up to them.

The first one was 19 years old. She had blonde hair, a light blue action vest over a white t-shirt. Brown shorts and black cargo boots.

The second one was a year younger. She had her hair in a lighter shade of blonde with white sunglasses and darkened lenses. She wore a sea green Dress in a similar style to Kairi's dress during their second adventure against Xemnas with High-heeled boots. She wore beaded bracelets on both her wrists.

"What should I tell them?" Roxas asked Naimné.

"Just play along." Naminé told him. "We have a world order to protect, remember?"

Roxas nodded and greeted the two girls. "Hey there, It's me...Ventus. And...could you tell me your names again?"

The older girl looked slightly offended. "Ven, It's us...Lorelei and Leslie." She gestured to herself when she said 'Lorelei' and the other girl when she said 'Leslie'

"Hi Ventus..." Leslie waved. "It's us, Lorelei and Leslie."

Lorelei facepalmed. "Leslie, I literally just said that." she turned to Roxas. "What're you doing here? I thought you'd be doing work in your Union."

Roxas came up with a lie. "Yeah, I got finished with that early so now I'm Union-free for the day."

"Huh," Lorelei was taken aback. "Looks like Master Gula's being lenient on you. I wish that was the case with Master Ira."

"Master Ira?" Roxas asked.

"Yeah," replied Leslie. "He runs the Unicornis Union, but none of us in it are actually Unicorns except him."

Lorelei facepalmed. "Leslie, it's because he wears a Unicorn Mask."

Leslie's eyes widened in horror. "Wait, we have to wear Unicorn Masks!? Why didn't you tell me that!?"

Roxas and Naminé looked at her with disbelief.

Lorelei looked at the two and assured them "In case you forgot, she can be a little bit...not bright."

Leslie heard this and gasped. "You think I'm not bright? Do I need to stand in the sun?" she positioned herself out from the shade.

"See what I mean?" Lorelei told the two.

"Yes, we can see." replied Naminé.

The older girl noticed the white-dress clad girl.

"Oh, I didn't notice you," she exclaimed. "Who are you?"

"I'm Naminé." Said girl replied. "I'm new to this town so, Ro-I mean Ventus is giving me a tour."

Leslie noticed her dress.

"No offense, but that white dress is totes not in style."

Naminé looked at her white dress.

"What do you mean?" She asked slightly offended. "This is what I always wear."

"Well it's too bland." Leslie insensitively replied. "If you want. I can give you some new fashion accessories."

"Thanks, but I'll pass." Naminé replied. "Besides, I still want to know a lot about this town."

"I'm trying to keep her safe from any Heartless that might attack." Roxas explained. "Do you have any idea where they might be so we can avoid them?"

"Well," said Lorelei "While heartless usually appear and attack literally anywhere in town. They'd usually start on the outskirts so I'd avoid going there if I were you."

"Thanks." Smiled Roxas. He grabbed Naminé's hand. "While I'd love to stay and chat. I need to show Nams more of this town."

"Ok." Shrugged Lorelei. "If we see any Heartless we'll turn them into human pretzels." She began to walk away. "See you, Ven. You too, Naminé."

"Bye." Smiled Leslie. But then she slammed into a wall and exclaimed in pain, causing Lorelei to turn around and drag her along.

Once they were gone, Roxas and Naminé looked at each other.

"How do they know about Ven?" Roxas asked. "He couldn't have existed all the way back here...didn't he?"

"I'm not sure," Naminé comforted her boyfriend. "But it's amazing how you were able to pose as him."

"Yeah," Roxas whispered to himself. Because Ventus' heart was inside of Sora's when he used the Dark Keyblade to remove Kairi's heart from his body, when Roxas was created, he took on Ven's appearance and voice rather than that of his somebody's. "But there's something else that's bothering me," he turned to Naminé. "If I took on Ventus' appearance because his heart was inside Sora's, and you're Kairi's nobody, then why didn't you take on her appearance?"

This was something that hit Naminé like falling into a pool of cold water. "Now that you mention it..." Naminé realized, "I'm Kairi's nobody, so I would have taken on her appearance..." she sort of did...with the face and eye color. But the only thing she didn't have was the hair. Kairi's was short and brick red, hers was a pale blonde, longer, and draped to the side, an appearance that Kairi did NOT have...and if Sora had another heart inside of his to explain why Roxas looked different, that would mean... "But Kairi didn't have another heart inside of hers...did she?" Naminé wondered aloud.

Roxas was about to open his mouth to try to suggest an explanation when they suddenly heard a loud rumble in the middle of town.

"We can worry about that later." he told the Blonde Girl. "We've got trouble."

Naminé nodded and she and Roxas ran back to Town Square.

Xion had reached a small bridge that was near the Clock Tower Castle. Below her was giant arch that opened up a river that gave her a view a canal through the city.

"I have to find this Skuld person." Xion thought aloud. "But where do I even start to look?"

"Excuse me? Are you looking for me." Came a new voice.

Xion looked up and saw a girl, slightly older than her, walk towards her..

She had, pink star earrings, and brown eyes. She wore a grey, zippered shirt under a black vest, and a studded belt around her black skirt. She had a red belt wrapped around her left arm, and two around her ankles. She wore black boots and knee-high stockings.

But what stood out to Xion was her hair. Despite being longer, it had the same black color as the Organization's former XIV.

"That depends, and you are? asked Xion.

"Name's Skuld." Said the girl.

"I'm Xion." The former replica spoke softly. "So you're this friend Ephemer was talking about."

"You know him?" asked Skuld.

"Yeah." Xion replied. "My friends and I met him when we first arrived here. We're visitors from another world so..."

"Ah," exclaimed Skuld. "You're new here. Makes sense, I would have recognized you in an instant. Even if you do have the same hair color and clothing style as I do."

"And that's the reason why I wanted to find you." Said Xion. "Ephemer said my hair color reminded me of you, and shopkeeper as well as two other girls mistook me for you due to my new style as well. I know I resemble someone else with my face but with so many people mistaking me for you. I knew this had to be more than just a coincidence."

Skuld let out a little laugh.

"Oh, Xion. It's cute how you find our identical hair color to be superstitious. But it's simply a coincidence. There are many people out there with matching hairstyles or colors. You see, if you haven't heard of the Dandelion Group of Keyblade Wielders, there's Ephemer and another boy named Landon: 14 years old, has white hair, chipped teeth. They have similar hair colors. Even if Ephemer's has a more silver tone to it, but the point still stands. And I can't even count the other citizens of other worlds I've met with identical hair colors to the people who live-"

"That's not the point I'm trying to make." Xion cut her off. I'm from a world this town hasn't heard about," trying to skirt around the whole timeline thing and the fact that she was a replica during her early periods of life. "So I'm just surprised about this, whole thing, and was hoping you could help me out."

Skuld thought for a moment. "You know it's funny." she replied. "I've only just met you yet even I feel like we have some sort of connection too." she held out her hand. "So I'd be glad to help you."

Xion stared at her for a while before smiling. "Thank you."

She reached back for the hand when there was a loud rumbling sound.

"What was that?" Xion exclaimed.

Skuld thought for a moment before summoning a Starlight Keyblade.

"Let's go, Xion." she said before running off.

Xion summoned Lost Memory and ran after her.

Ephemer, Sora and Kairi were making their way to the Lighthouse district Ephemer was talking about.

"So you're saying this is where you met a close friend of yours?" Asked Kairi.

"Yes." Said Ephemer. "We met when he helped me defeat several heartless that were attacking that area. He was so kind and caring." He turned to face Sora. "Kinda like you, Sora."

Sora smiled at that. "Woah, sounds like a nice person."

"He is." Ephemer replied. "You would like him a lot Sora you two would become friends faster than we did."

"You think so?" Sora asked.

"I know so." was the reply from the Silver-haired boy.

"Can you tell us his name?" asked Kairi.

Ephemer smiled "His name is-"

"Hey look, we're here!" Sora pointed to the edge of the town that was facing a harbor.

From a bridge above said harbor was a lighthouse and near it were three more wielders battling a Defender Heartless and a Wizard Heartless.

The oldest was a boy about 14. He had fair skin and cyan eyes. He wore a yellow jacket, over a brown shirt. Gray pants and Blue boots with matching fingerless gloves. He had light blue hair with matching decorative cat ears. He wielded a Lionheart Keyblde

The second was another boy about 12. He had dark skin and green eyes. He wore an orange fish-themed hoodie over his head with the hood having two eyes and a fin on the back. Black pants and Green Boots. He wielded a Crabclaw Keyblade.

The third was a girl around 10. She had fair skin, magenta eyes, and pink hair tied into two low twin-tails. She wore an orange dress with white accents and white boots. Wore a side purse styled like a Pink Donkey. She wielded a Sweet Dreams Keyblade.

They slashed at the two Heartless rapidly before finishing with a triple energy blast from their keyblades, Obliterating the two abominations.

"Gumdrop, Darin, Annalise!" Ephemer called out.

The three wielders looked down from where they were to the source of the voice.

"Oh, hey Ephemer!" Gumdrop called down.

The three wielders leapt down from the bridge and landed before the three.

"What's up?" asked Darin.

"Nothing much," said Ephemer. "We were gonna come here to scout out some Heartless but it seems you guys already took care of them."

"That's right." said Darin. "We've been getting the hang of taking down Heartless ever since we fought against that Refrigerator Heartless a few months back (10)."

"Refrigerator Heartless?" asked Kairi.

"Trust us, you guys do NOT want to know about that." Annalise quickly spoke. She then stopped when she saw Sora and Kairi.

"And who are the two of you?" she asked. "Are you newcomers to our town?"

"Yes we are." said Sora, "How could you tell?"

"Your clothing styles are nothing like the ones in Daybreak Town." the younger girl replied. "Though...it's nothing like the styles I've seen from the other worlds I've visited on my mission."

"Well, that's because we're from one of the new worlds," said Kairi. "The ones that Daybreak Town hasn't visited yet."

Gumdrup and Darin were both surprised. "There are new worlds?"

Annalise put a hand to her chin. "Hmm, I have read about there being multiple worlds, and I have hypothesized that there are more worlds than the ones we visited, it seems I was right. Though I'm honestly surprised no one found out about this when they explored the Worlds actively."

"Well," shrugged Ephemer. "That's probably because we don't have the means to explore them more over here than they do in their worlds."

The three native wielders looked at one another.

"That's...actually a good explanation." said Annalise. "Do you think you could share with us these means of advanced transportation and world travelling?"

Sora and Kairi looked at each other.

"We can try." said Sora. "But for now, I think we should be on the lookout for more Heartless."

"Agreed," Kairi added. "We don't know where they're gonna show up, but when they do, we better be ready for-"

She was cut off by a loud rumble that knocked everyone off balance.

"Right on cue too." She muttered.

"Wait. said Darin. "That attack didn't come from here. It came from..." he turned to the town.

"The town is in danger!?" Exclaimed Ephemer. "We have to go help it now."

The six of them bolted back to the town square when suddenly a group of Dual-Blade Heartless spawned in front of them.

"Damn!" Sora cursed.

"Well deal with these punks!" Snarled Gumdrop as he summoned his Keyblade. "You go protect the town!"

"Are you sure?" Asked Kairi. "They seem too much for you to deal with on your own."

"Well be fine!" Annalise assured. "Besides. The town is the bigger priority right now!"

"We can only hold them off for so long!" Darin shouted as he thrust his weapon into the face of a Dual-Blade. "Just go, Hurry!"

Sora, Kairi and Ephemer exchanged looks and nodded. They left the trio behind and hurried into the heart of the town.

As they hurried onwards. None of them noticed Xigbar sprawled out on the rooftops in a relaxed manner.

"Well, off they go to save the day." He smirked. "Normally I should complain about them ruining my fun, but them coming together; Several strangers appearing in a town of the past. This'll be quite the tale for those five. Definitely confusing enough for me to take advantage of. Though one of them might not be fooled enough because of her role...and her connection to one of those Guardians. Ah well. At least I'll have the other four on my side and she can just fall along with those lame-Oes who oppose Master Xehanort. Which reminds me. I should call Marluxia and Larxene back from their scoutings and inform them of the next step.

As he got up he turned to Sora, Kairi and Ephemer's retreating figures.

"Watch your backs, Guardians. While it's still written in the Book of Prophecies that Darkness will prevail and Light expires, you're about to get a taste of how strong the Light really is."

With a snicker. He turned and walked away from the rooftops.
