My Hero Academia: Heroes, Villains, Somewhere In-between

As the rainy dark evening descended onto the city of Tokyo, a silhouetted figure emerges from the shadows and begins his walk through the damp alleyways of the city, bright lights illuminating him slightly, revealing the red eyes under the mask. This young man was known to patrol the streets every day, beating up criminals he came across. These people are known by society as: Vigilantes. Suddenly a scream rings out through the alley, although out in the street, you'd have heard nothing from the loud music and traffic, but the young vigilante hears the cry for help and slithers over like a snake, not drawing any attention to his presence. "I-I'm sorry…! I'll be able to pay you back t-this Thursday…!" It was a young woman, talking to someone clearly affiliated with the local yakuza, the young man groans to himself as silently as possible, and then looks around for any potential backup the member could have before gaining a vantage point above the duo. "I always hate guys like these…" The man mutters to himself before launching down and knocking the yakuza member out with a kick to the face. "Damn, even a tooth got knocked, sorry, not sorry." He turns to the woman. "You okay there ma'am?" The woman looks surprised and slightly scared by the vigilantes scuffed mask and costume, the few tears and bloodstains on the suit being easily visible. "Y-Yes… I-I'm fine…" The woman was clearly not fine, so the man would speak up. "You need any help getting to the police station? I'll bring this guy in for the cops, but if you don't feel safe going on your own, I'll escort you." The woman wipes away her tears. "N-No thanks, I can go just fine…" The man sighs and readjusts his mask. "If you insist." He picks up the knocked-out yakuza and begins heading towards the police station.

*WRAP* The man's hand is restrained by a greyish looking cloth, the vigilante sighs, knowing exactly what- who, this was. "You do know it's illegal for someone unlicensed to be apprehending villains, right?" The mysterious individual reveals themself as the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head. The vigilante nods at the clearly tired hero's obvious question, he shouldn't be apprehending criminals without an up-to-date hero license. "Then may I ask why you're doing this?" The vigilante shakes his head and finally speaks, his mask muffling his voice and masking his identity. "No, just settling a personal score I have, along with keeping this community safe." The hero shakes his head in disappointment. "Just take off the mask and come with me quietly and there'll be no trouble." The vigilante punches the cloth so hard it breaks first hit. "No can do, I've got a duty here, not in a prison cell." And before the hero could react, the vigilante uses a grappling hook to escape onto the rooftops and flee. The vigilante's thoughts beginning to cluster together.

"So that was Eraser Head, a teacher at the prestigious Hero School, U.A. huh? That means the school would be relatively unprotected, just the right time…" He heads into the general direction of the school and walks up to the gate, immediately knowing what would occur if he were to attempt stepping in, "The moment I step in is when the cops and teachers begin filing in, so that's a no-go for now…I could attempt to jump the fence, but that'd take a lot of Flash-Fist outta me…" The vigilante ponders his options before going through with his plan and charging a jump over the wall, landing on his feet. "At least this'll increase time till the cops show up." He begins to sneak over and into the section of campus that has the dorm buildings for each class, arriving at the building for Class 2-A in the Hero Course. "Luckily I know how to open these windows…" He jumps up and cracks open a window before crawling inside it and hopping down onto the carpet to ensure noise is minimal. He walks up the stairs up to the third floor and arrives at the door labelled 'Darukawa (ダルカワ)' before creaking the door open slightly. "Sis, you really should lock your door at night…" He took his mask off, only revealing the dark color of his hair along with the red eyes. "I'll just leave this note here…" He places an envelope addressed to 'Mizuki (ミズキ)'. "I gotta go now, bye…" He walks over to the bed where the girl is sleeping and kisses her cheek before walking away and sneaking back outside and fleeing the school, heading back to his house and going to bed.

The next morning, he wakes up to his phone ringing, it's from his sister. "Yes Mizu…?" He sounded drowsy from the night before. "What the hell was with that letter?! How'd you get it in here, and what's with the vigilante confession?!" She sounds slightly pissed off and stressed. "Sis, it's all true, okay? I do these things to help people, I even use my inventions to stop crimes." "That doesn't make it okay! I'm telling my teachers about you, and until you apologize and stop, we're not speaking!" She hangs up and the young man sighs before grabbing the important things and leaving the house. "I guess she is still stressed… I wonder if therapy is going well for her…" He ponders these thoughts for a while, zoning out of his surroundings for a minute and completely forgetting what he was doing at the time, his thoughts purely centered on his sister, her words from earlier ringing in his head over and over again. "Four years goes by fast, I guess… I miss you mom… you too dad… I miss you both a lot, and I'll make sure no one else feels the same pain I did, whether I break the law or not.
