Hello everyone! Here's the next chapter! It's an original!
I split this chapter into two parts since it's getting so big! Part 2 should hopefully be coming soon!
There are a lot of characters in this chapter that should be familiar to most of you! I am leaving a list of who each one is at the very end of Part 2. Tell me how many you got right if you want to in a review!
Disclaimer: I do not own Courage the Cowardly Dog! Not at all!
Now, let's hop back into our story!
Nowhere Naughtiness Part 1
The next morning…
"Mmmm," Gavin moaned softly as he started to wake up, yawning as he opened his eyes to the sight of the flat ceiling of his room. "What time is it?" He said sleepily before he turned his head and looked over at the clock, which he saw read 6:15 in the morning. "Six fifteen. Nice," he continued before he sniffed the air, and hummed with a bit of intrigue. "Huh, it smells like lavender again. Odd," he finished as he started to sit up, rubbing his eyes as he did so. 'Why do I keep waking up to the smell of lavender in here?' he questioned as he looked around the room, seeing that it looked the exact same as when he'd fallen asleep. 'It's been happening for over a week and a half now, and Muriel says she's not doing it at all!' he continued with confusion as he turned his head this way and that, before he winced as he felt his head painfully throb hard.
"Oh, right, my head," He said with a groan as he put a hand to his head while the pain continued to pulse in it for several seconds before stopping. "Ugh, I think I'm going to the doctor's today," He continued as he rubbed his head before he got out of the bed and stretched his limbs, wincing as he rubbed his arm and head. "Hopefully nothing's horribly damaged from that duck," He said with a frown as he thought of the duck from the previous day before he headed over to the dresser and pulled out a pair of dark green shorts with white trim on the edges of the legs along with a pair of simple white socks.
'Man I can't believe we were unlucky enough to get that guy to come instead of an actual doctor. What next? The tv repairman isn't one?' he thought with a frown as he took off his pajamas, leaving him in his underwear while his necklace hung around his neck, before he put on the socks and shorts. He then headed over to the closet and pulled out a light green short sleeve shirt that had the white outline of a dragon on it that had outspread wings and a long winding tail, with white fire coming out of its open mouth, before putting it on, making sure his necklace was on top of the shirt, and putting his wallet, keys, and phone into his pockets before he headed towards his bedroom door. He slipped on his dark blue sneakers, which had light blue soles and white laces, before he opened the unlocked door and stepped out of his room, grunting as his head throbbed with pain once again.
"Well, I can tell Muriel is already up for the day," He said with a smile as he sniffed the air, smelling something delicious that made his stomach growl loudly with hunger. "I wonder what she's making now?" he questioned as he headed towards the stairs, soon reaching and heading down them. "Pancakes? Waffles? Oatmeal?" He guessed as he went, soon reaching the bottom and heading towards the kitchen.
When he reached the kitchen, he saw that Muriel was making oatmeal while Courage was setting the table, the bandage still on her head while Muriel had changed into her dress and apron. "Good morning Muriel. Good morning Courage," He said to the two of them as he headed towards the fridge. "How are you two lovely ladies doing today?" he asked them while the light from the rising sun, which had risen over the horizon ten minutes, shined through the windows into the already illuminated room.
"Oh, good morning dear. We slept fine. How about you?" Muriel asked as Courage finished setting the table and walked over Muriel, while Gavin pulled out a jug of orange juice and grabbed a glass from a cupboard. "Is your head feeling any better?" She asked as she stirred the large pot of oatmeal with one hand while looking at him with a bit of concern, Courage doing the same.
"Very much so, but it's still throbbing every once in a while, so I'm going to go to town after breakfast and get it checked out by the doctor," he said, causing Muriel to frown and Courage to gasp.
"Oh, you poor dear!" Muriel replied with concern while he poured himself a glass of orange juice and put the jug away before sitting at the table. "I'm sure Eustace would be more than happy to bring you there once he's eaten," She continued, causing him to smile and shake his head while Courage rolled her eyes.
"That's very kind of you Muriel, but I've already planned on calling a taxi to come pick me up. It's not very expensive and that way Eustace can get an early start on fixing the barn wall and the attic wall too," he said, remembering how she'd mentioned to him a couple days ago that one of the walls needed a few boards replaced as well as remembering the holes in the wall they'd made yesterday. "I'll go to the doctor and get some things before I come back. Might be gone the whole day. Who knows?" he continued with a shrug as she put some oatmeal in a bowl and handed it to Courage, who yipped and chanted "Hothothot!" very quickly as she hurried over and set it on the table in one front of an empty seat before returning to Muriel's side.
"Mmmm, that isn't a bad idea," Muriel said with a smile forming on her face as she filled another bowl with her oatmeal, which Courage quickly carried over to the table and set it in front of him, blowing on her paws once she was done. "Perhaps you could grab a couple things for me while you're there."
"Sure! I'd be happy to do that!" Gavin replied as he took up his spoon and started to slowly eat the oatmeal, blowing on it each time so he wouldn't burn himself. "Mmmm, Muriel, you are the best cook I have ever had the honor of eating from," he stated with a large smile as the sweet flavor of the oatmeal danced across his tongue. "I never get tired of your food."
"Why thank you Gavin!" Muriel said with a warm smile as she filled up two more bowls and turned down the heat of the stove even more before she and Courage headed over to the table, with Courage whimpering as she carried the bowls over to it. "I'm so happy to hear you enjoy it!" She continued, before Eustace walked into the room fully dressed in his regular outfit while frowning.
"Muriel, I'm hungry!" He growled before he walked over and sat down in the chair opposite Gavin. "And where's my damn paper!" He continued before he yelled out "Ow!" as Muriel smacked him on the head with her rolling pin. "What'd I do?"
"Eustace Bagge, don't you ever curse at me!" Muriel stated firmly with her hands on her hips. "I am your wife!"
'You get what you deserve Eustace,' Gavin thought as he continued to eat, watching Eustace rub his head with a hand before the others started to eat their oatmeal as well. 'And good thing I have no plans on ever cursing at Muriel or Courage,' he continued before wincing as his head throbbed yet again as he swallowed some juice. 'And the paper should be here soon Eustace,' He thought as he looked at the old man, not wanting to say it and piss the old man off, while Courage hummed happily at the taste of the oatmeal. 'Probably in about ten minutes. I mean, it usually comes around 6:30 or so,' He finished.
They remained silent as they ate for the next few minutes, before Gavin let out a happy sigh as he finished his large bowl of food. "Ahhh, amazing as always Muriel," He said to her before taking a sip of his juice. "Now then, let me just use the facilities and then I'll be on my way to town," he continued as he got up from the table and brought his dishes over to the sink, where he started to wash them.
"Oh, then I better write that list of things I need you to grab while you're there," Muriel said while Courage hopped off her seat and hurried over to a drawer, returning a few seconds later with a yellow notepad and pen in her hands. "Thank you Courage," She continued as she took the items and patted her on the head, causing Courage to smile before she got back into her seat while Gavin finished washing his dishes and set them to the side to dry.
"Alright, I'll try to take my time so you can write it all out," He replied before he turned and headed towards the kitchen door. "Oh, and Courage? Write a couple things on the list that you'd like," he continued before he headed through the door. "My treat," he finished with a large smile as he made his way to the stairs, while Courage gained a surprised and excited look on her face. 'As a reward for yesterday,' He finished in his head as he headed up the stairs and went to the bathroom.
It took him a few minutes to relieve himself, use the toilet, put on deodorant, and brush his teeth, making sure to floss as well. Then he called a taxi and got an arrival estimate, before he headed back downstairs to the kitchen.
"Okay, the taxi will be here in a few minutes," He said as he entered the kitchen. "How's that list coming along?" He asked as he walked over to the table, where he saw they were all still eating except for Courage, who had finished her meal.
"We're almost done. Courage is just putting her things on the list," Muriel said as Courage wrote on the somewhat small paper, humming in thought as she paused her writing and looked at the list for several seconds before nodding and setting the pen down. "There you go Gavin. Here's the list," She continued as she tore off the paper and handed it to him. "Are you sure you don't want Eustace to bring you, or maybe Courage can come along with you?" She suggested as he pocketed the paper, causing Eustace to start grumbling angrily as he continued to eat.
"Not taking no stinkin teenager," Gavin heard him say, causing him to roll his eyes.
"I'm sure Muriel, and maybe Courage can come with me next time," He replied with a warm smile as he looked at Courage before he turned and headed out of the kitchen. "I'll call when I'm on my way back or if anything happens," he continued.
"Alright dear. We'll see you later," Muriel said as he made his way to the front door and opened it, where he saw the Nowhere News paper laying on the porch with a couple rubber bands around it to keep it rolled up.
"There's the paper," he said as he picked it up and put it on Eustace's red comfy chair before he stepped out onto the porch and shut the door. "Okay, the taxi should be here very soon," he continued as he walked off the porch and headed towards the paved road nearby, looking down each end of the road as he went. "Oh, there it is," He said with a smile upon seeing a car quickly coming from his left.
As the car got closer and closer, he was able to see that it was a somewhat large dark orange taxi with light yellow panels around the white headlights and the taillights, with the panels on the rear looking like somewhat thin tail fins. Shiny silver-colored bumpers sat on the ends of the vehicle, with a large creamish yellow sign on the top of the roof that read "TAXI" in blocky red letters on either side of it. On the middle of the front doors was the same word, but in black letters instead.
It soon came to a stop in front of him, and the front passenger window rolled down, revealing the driver. Said driver was a 2 foot 6 inch tall young anthro female dog who looked somewhat like a herding dog mix of some sort, with slightly fluffy light gray fur covering her body. The edges of her Anthro suit could be seen by her shoulders and hips, with a dark red bandana tied around her neck and reaching down to the middle of her chest that had a white bone on it. Somewhat long tufts of fur stuck out from her cheeks, with a large black nose on the end of her pointed, somewhat long snout. Her ears pointed straight up but the tips curled forwards and downwards, nearly completely covering the insides of her ears. Her eyes were large and black in color, and a large smile was on her face as she looked at him from her elevated light tan fabric seat.
"Hey, you must be Gavin," She said with an upbeat somewhat high-pitched voice as she drummed her four fingered hands on the large black steering wheel for a few seconds, before she unlocked the doors. "Hop in!" She continued, prompting him to smile and open the rear passenger door to get inside.
"Thanks for picking me up. Sorry about it being so early in the day!" He said apologetically as he got into the light tan interior of the vehicle and sat down in the seat, buckling up before he shut the door.
"Oh there's no need to apologize! I like being up by the time the sun comes up," The dog replied as she they drove off away from the farm. "My name's Brianne, by the way," She continued with a large smile as she looked at him via the rear-view mirror through the open plexiglass partition behind the seats, her eyes looking him up and down carefully while her tail wagged between her and the seat. "So what brings you to Nowhere?"
"Doctor visit," Gavin replied as he looked out the window at the flat landscape while the vehicle sped up. "Got whacked on the head by a big wooden mallet yesterday and I want to see if there's any permanent damage," he continued before wincing with pain as his head throbbed again.
"Ouch! That does not sound fun! How'd that happen? Croquet go wrong?" She asked with curiosity, causing him to gain a confused look on his face.
'What the heck is croquet?!' He thought before he answered her. "No, there was a criminal who came to the house who used it as a weapon. Knocked out one of the people before going after me, and I managed to stay awake to call the authorities," He said before spotting the burned remains of a large van on the side of the road up ahead. 'Wow, that must have been quite a wreck. Hope no one died in it,' he thought as they quickly reached it and passed it.
"Oh my goodness! That sounds awful, and very brave!" She said with shock, horror, and awe as she looked at him. "I'm sure that wasn't easy," She continued as she sped up a little more, with him looking back and watching the farmhouse shrink in the distance as they got further and further away from it for a few seconds.
"It wasn't, especially with how that criminal was trying to get another person in the house to give up the goods, but Courage and I worked together, and got him arrested and taken away before he could anymore damage to the house," Gavin stated with a smile as they went.
"Good! That means one less bad guy for all of us to worry about!" Brianne said with a smile while they continued to head in the direction of the town. 'Man I've think I've hit the jackpot! Goodlooking, seems to be rather nice and brave,' She thought as she looked him over. 'I gotta know more!' "Who's Courage? Your girlfriend?" 'Please say no! Please say you're single so my friends and I can be the top girls in your relationship or maybe in your harem if you want one!' She continued.
"My 'girlfriend?' Courage?" Gavin said with surprise, before he started to chuckle a little. "Heh, no, she's not. Although, I guess she could be in the future, if it's okay to date animals that aren't quite anthro but not quite feral either," he continued, causing Brianne's tense body to relax slightly, although her heart raced a bit more upon hearing she might be. "I don't know what the rules are about that. But I don't have a girlfriend at this point. I'd like one. I just haven't met someone who's wanted to be my girlfriend," he finished with a sigh as he looked out the window, missing the shit eating grin appearing on Brianne's face. 'Heh, me and Courage dating, that's an idea,' He thought with another chuckle. 'How would that even work?'
'Okay, that's good to know. Very good to know,' She thought as they reached an intersection and went through it. 'Shouldn't be an issue if we get to him first. I'll have to tell the girls about him once I drop him off at the doctor's,' She continued before giggling to himself softly, her tail wagging harder.
"Hey, I was just wondering, any idea about how many doctors are in Nowhere?" He asked, the thought occurring to him when he pondered what he'd do in town after visiting the doctor. "Is there just Doctor Vindaloo?"
"Vindaloo? He's not the only one in Nowhere. There's several, I believe," She replied after thinking it over for a few seconds with a hum. 'Let's see, there's Radcliffe, Henry, and-oh crap!' She thought with widening eyes as they went. 'There's her! She might try to sink her claws in him! Shitshitshitshitshit! I'm gonna have to let the girls know and see if we can get him before she or someone else does!' She continued with worry. 'Oh shit! Shitshitshit!'
For the next thirty minutes, the two of them remained silent as she drove him towards the town until they eventually reached it, their minds preoccupied with various things. The town of Nowhere was large and filled with many multi-story buildings and had nice clean light gray sidewalks on the sides of the black paved road, along with several areas filled with light green grass that was growing fast in the spring sun. People of all races and species walked along the sidewalks and drove their vehicles through the streets past them as they went through the town, stopping at an occasional red light as they headed towards the downtown area.
'Huh, looks like everyone's out and about today, as usual,' Gavin thought with a smile as he watched a young Caucasian man with a rather skinny body and long dark brown hair walk around a street corner, passing by an old male bear anthro with tiny black glasses on his snout who was walking with the help of a black cane. 'That's good,' he continued as he turned and looked ahead of them, only to wince once more as his head throbbed a bit harder than before, it having been continued to periodically throb during the entire drive. 'Oh, I can't wait to get my head checked out!' he finished with a grunt as he held a hand to his head while they rounded a street corner and entered the downtown area.
It took them another ten minutes to get to the very large parking lot that sat to the left of the Nowhere Hospital, which was a five-story high brick rectangular building painted a dull white color, with dark gray trim on the edges of the flat roof and around each square window. A wide driveway curved into the right side of the building, with a couple ambulances parked in it, while a set of large dark gray double doors sat at the front of the building underneath an arched awning. Right above the awning were the words "Nowhere Hospital" in big blocky bright red letters.
"Here we are, Nowhere Hospital," Brianne said to him as she brought the taxi to a stop, before she turned and looked at him. "Your total is $15.38," She continued, prompting him to pull out his black wallet, which was absolutely filled to the brim with cash, and take out $20.
"Here you go. Keep the change, and thank you for the lift," He said to her as he handed her the money before he got out of the vehicle, causing her to smile and wag her slightly upward curving and slightly fluffy tail happily as she looked at the bill.
"You're welcome Gavin! I hope everything turns out okay for you," Brianne called out to him as he headed towards the hospital before she put the cash in her money box and started to drive away. "Please, whatever deity is listening, don't let him see her as his doctor," She begged as she looked up momentarily while she made her way through the parking lot. "Please."
"That was a nice taxi ride," Gavin said as he pocketed his wallet while he headed towards the hospital doors, soon reaching them in about thirty seconds. "She was pretty cute too," he continued with a smile before wincing as his head throbbed again. "Oh, I pray to Kami that there's no wait time today!" he groaned as the doors slid open for him and he stepped through them into a large lobby/waiting room.
The lobby had a black and white smooth checkered floor, with the walls and high flat ceiling a gentle blue color. A few round and square dark brown wooden tables that were rather low to the ground were scattered around the room, with multiple black chair around them and against the walls as well. Gentle white lights that were rectangular in shape sat in the flat ceiling, while a few potted plants decorated the area along with some paintings and pictures on the walls. A huge light brown rectangular desk was set right in front of the wall directly opposite of him, with a couple large dark gray boxy computers on top of it along with a white boxy printer, a large dark red mug holding several writing utensils, a black stapler, and a black metal paper tray. Behind the desk was a large white door that had large black boxy letters on it that read "Employees Only," with a couple pictures on either side of it. To the left and right of the desk were two more doors that were a gentle brown color with shiny brass knobs and black doorframes.
Sitting behind the desk on the left side was a beautiful female young anthro feline who had thick orangish-tan fur on the visible parts of her body and long light brown hair that hung down to the middle of her back. Her large eyes were a piercing golden-yellow color with thin black eyebrows above them, and a somewhat small black nose sat at the end of her short muzzle, which had rather short black whiskers on it. A simple light red dress appeared to be on her body, as he couldn't see any more of her body than her top as he slowly approached the desk, with the collar of the dress somewhat thick and black in color, while a gold rectangular nametag sat on the left side of her chest, presumably having the same name on it as the brass placard right in front of her, which had the words "Shiboline M'Ress" carved into it.
'Oh good, looks like there's not much of a line, thankfully,' He thought as he looked around at the room as he headed towards the desk, seeing that around ten people were sitting in chairs, some anthros and some humans, with all of them looking relatively healthy and most asleep or busy reading. 'I guess they're all waiting for people, I think,' he continued before he reached the desk and looked at Shiboline.
"Hello, welcome to Nowhere Hospital," Shiboline said with a gentle soft-sounding high-pitched young voice that had a distinct purr in it as she looked from the computer to him. "How may I help you?"
"Hello, I'd like to schedule a doctor's appointment," Gavin said while the feline looked him over carefully. "I had my head hit hard yesterday, and I'm hurting from it still," He continued, causing her very long tail, which ended in a large tuft of dark brown fur like a lion's tail, to twitch a little.
"Alright. Fill out this form completely to the best of your ability, return it to me, and I'll get you settled with a doctor," She replied as she grabbed a clipboard, put a white form on it, and handed it to him with one of her four-fingered hands, her black slit pupils looking at him intently as she did so.
"Okay," He said as he took a pen and headed over to a nearby chair, wincing as his head throbbed again. 'Ugh, this head pain sucks a lot!' he thought as he sat down and started to fill out the form a bit quickly, completely unaware that M'Ress was watching him from the corner of her eyes as she resumed typing on her computer. 'I hope it doesn't mean there's deep damage in my head,' he continued as he wrote on the form, eventually completing it after a few minutes while wondering what sort of damage they'd find.
He then returned the form to Shiboline, who smiled and informed him it would only be a few minutes before a doctor was available to look at him, surprising him a bit but making him smile as he sat back down in his seat. 'I wonder who I'll have. Dr. Vindaloo? Or someone else?' He questioned, before the door to the left of the desk opened and a male human with deeply tanned skin, long black hair, black eyes, and a dark blue nurse outfit on his skinny body stepped out with a clipboard in his small hands.
"Gavin Woodring?" He called out, prompting him to look at the man and get up from his seat. "This way please," he continued as Gavin started to walk over to him, causing the man to turn and head back through the door.
As he reached the door, he heard M'Ress go "Ahem!" somewhat quietly, prompting him to look over at the desk. His eyes immediately widened and face heated up with a deep blush as he saw that M'Ress had turned her black office chair so that her front was facing him and had pulled up the skirt of her dress, which had originally ended at the tops of her thighs. Her new position let him see that she was barefoot, with the edges of a pair of anthro pants visible around her ankles, and he also saw that she had small humanoid feet that ended in paws with thick black pads on them, letting him know she stood only on the tips of her feet instead of on the whole thing. She had one hand holding it up while the other had pulled down her anthro pants to reveal a humanoid pussy that was the exact same color as the rest of her body but was as big as a volleyball, with a rather large clitoris peaking out of the top of it. It looked absolutely soaked, with him seeing drops of pussyjuice running down it like a very leaky faucet was inside.
'WHAT THE FUCK?!' He thought with shock as he stared at her hyper cunt for a few seconds before he looked back up at her face and saw her wink at him and purr a little, prompting him to blush harder before he turned and quickly followed the nurse with a bit of a tent in his pants, entering a long hallway that had the same floor as the waiting room, but the walls were a light grayish tan color and the ceiling was dark grayish blue, with round white lights in it.
'Holy fuck that actually happened!' Gavin thought as he followed the man down the hallway, passing by other hallways and light brown doors that had signs on the walls next to them. 'I got flashed by a pretty lady!' He continued with shock on his face as they walked for a few minutes before they reached a light brown door that had a large white sign next to it that read "Dr. T'Ana, M.D." on it in big blocky red letters along with a large dark red medical cross on the top of the door. 'And a hyper at that!' he finished.
Gavin knew that hypers were a thing in the world, having seen several over the years, although he hadn't seen a ton of anthros being hyper since anthro suits also had the side effect of being able to hide hypers with almost no side effects, and the humans who were hypers as well also had their clothing made to hide their hyper bodoies. Strangely enough, though, hyperification only affected women, with very few men being affected, which scientists were trying to determine why that was the case. A "hyper" woman was affected in any number of ways, from massive asses that jiggled when they walked to massive tits that dragged across the ground to extremely obese bodies that covered king-sized beds with ease with no health issues whatsoever, with rumors of even fatter women running around. The few men that were affected ended up being hyper fats every single time, with their health staying in great condition despite their fatness. Hypers were becoming somewhat common, with the United States having over 41% of its women being classified as hypers, and 50% of the world's female population were hypers. The world did its best to accommodate them, such as special clothing to help keep body parts in so they could move around, and specialized homes and vehicles as well.
"Dr. T'Ana will be with you in a couple minutes," The nurse said flatly as he opened the door and gestured for him to go inside, prompting Gavin to do so, with the nurse following him inside, completely oblivious as to what Gavin had seen.
He was now in a large examination room that had the same checkered floor as the rest of the hospital, but the walls were a very pale green and the high ceiling was a very light creamish yellow. A couple large white cabinets with dark red knobs sat up on the wall with three dark red medical crosses on them, while a long pal cream yellow countertop sat underneath them. Several light brown wooden cabinets sat underneath the countertop, with the doors of the cabinets a light creamish yellow with pale blueish gray round knobs. Several medical supplies like jars, tongue depressors, medical waste cans sat on the countertop next to a light blue landline phone, while a large white trashcan sat in the corner. Directly opposite the cabinets was another cabinet that matched the others except it was a darker brown color and had a single dark brown bottle of rubbing alcohol on top of it. A poster of a human body that was cut into different layers to show off the different body systems hung on the wall above it, with another poster showing a cat and dog anthro that was cut up the same way. To the immediate right of the posters was a large white light built for examining developed x-rays, while a large light blue table sat against the wall next to the x-ray light, with a large light blue cushion on one end.
The nurse set the clipboard on the counter and then left while Gavin walked over to the table and sat down on it, wincing again as his head throbbed hard. "Oh my Kami! I can't believe she did that!" he said somewhat quietly as he thought about what had just happened a few seconds ago. "The fuck is that about?!" He continued with utter confusion. "Does she like me? Does she want to go on a date? What was that about?!" He finished before groaning as his head throbbed with pain once more. 'Seriously, what the hell is going on?!' He thought before he heard a female voice speak outside of the room.
"Ugh, what sick sack of horse shit do I have to deal with now?" The voice said, sounding somewhat gruff and acerbic as well as mature. "Another old guy who fucked his back doing something fucking stupid?!" The owner of the voice growled angrily as they got closer to the door, with Gavin arching an eyebrow as his confused look remained on his face.
"What the heck?" he questioned before he heard the female say "Ugh! Let me get this over with so I can go back to my box and sleep!" Then, he saw the door open inwards, and a female anthro mature feline stepped into the room, slamming the door shut behind her with a frustrated sigh.
She stood 5 feet even and had rusty orange fur covering the visible parts of her body, with the fur on her head looking a little scruffy, like that of an alley cat. Her ears stuck out sideways, the right ear had a small chunk bitten out of one edge, and short tufts of fluffy light cream fur sat inside them. Short and messy light cream hair sat on the top of her head, matching fur covered the majority of her short muzzle, and her somewhat long whiskers were all bent and crooked. Her nose was large and a dusky pink color, her eyes were large and a pale yellow with long black oval pupils, small bags hung underneath her eyes, and thick black eyebrows sat above her eyes. Her hands had four fingers, and no tail could visibly be seen, while one sharp fang stuck out from the bottom of her closed mouth. A light navy blue button-up shirt sat on her large chest and ran down to her waist, with a large sky blue labcoat on top of it that was open and hung down just past her knees. A pair of black baggy pants sat on her legs, with a pair of white sneakers with sky blue soles and cuffs sat on her feet, which looked very similar to M'Ress'.
"Alright, what fucking stupid shit did you do?" The feline asked as she walked over and grabbed the clipboard to look at it.
"Uuuuuuuum, well, I…got smacked in the head while trying to stop a criminal yesterday," Gavin replied before wincing as his head throbbed again. 'I guess this is Dr. T'Ana,' He thought with an invisible shrug of his shoulders. 'She's interesting for sure.' "I took some medicine and it got a little better," He continued as the feline hummed with intrigue as she looked at his clipboard.
'Holy fuck! Finally I get a young guy!' T'Ana thought with a smile that remained for several seconds as she looked up from the file and at his body, her smile slowly disappearing as she did so. "You put on here that the medicine you were given helped the pain die down a lot. Why come in when you can just fucking take more of it?" She asked him as she looked up from the clipboard, her eyes locking onto his body and immediately examining it. "It seems that if you just took it a little longer your pain would be gone." 'Damn, he isn't too bad to look at,' She continued as she looked him over. 'I wonder which lucky girl or guy's gotten their hands on him and if I can have a piece?'
"Well, yeah, but what if the guy had broken any bones?" Gavin suggested as he rubbed his head while it throbbed again. "I don't have any way to see if that's the case at home," he continued. "That's why I came here, to see just how much damage was done."
"What'd you get hit with?" T'Ana asked as she put the clipboard to the side and pulled open a drawer. "Baseball bat? Gun? A dog?"
"A giant wooden mallet," He replied as she pulled out a black ophthalmoscope, causing her to arch an eyebrow while he realized something. 'Hey, where did that mallet go anyway? And the catapult and poles?' he questioned, remembering that he hadn't seen any signs of them at all when he'd left the house.
"Seriously? A mallet?" She asked him as she looked at him incredulously. "What, were you fighting a fucking cartoon character?" She continued as she walked over to him and started to examine his eyes.
"No, I was fighting an evil duck named Le duck or something," Gavin replied as she looked at his eyes carefully before she switched out her ophthalmoscope for an otoscope and checked his ears. "The guy was a pain to deal with! Had to get back into the house three times in order to contact the authorities with the computer without getting his attention," he continued before he rubbed his left shoulder while his head throbbed hard again, prompting him to wince once more. "Ugh, that wasn't fun. We used a tree to get in, a pole, and then a catapult that Courage got because she could."
"You're fucking shitting me!" T'Ana stated with a low growl as she finished looking at his ears and pulled out a light blue reflex hammer. "That's one of the most ridiculous fucking things I've heard someone do!" She continued as she smacked his knees to check his reflexes.
"It's the truth! Take a look at the bruise I got from going through the wall by the catapult!" He said as he pulled up his left sleeve, revealing the huge bruise on the upper portion of his upper arm, which was now dark purple and yellow in color. "It reaches onto my shoulder too," he continued while T'Ana's eyes widened a little.
"Well fuck my tight ass! You certainly got bruised," She said as she reached out and gently pressed on it, causing him to feel a decent amount of pain. "How does it feel?"
"Honestly? It doesn't hurt to move, but putting pressure on the skin hurts. It's pretty much the same with my head too, except that it throbs with pain regularly," he replied as she removed her hand and put the hammer away.
"Mhm," T'Ana hummed as she walked over to him and gently pulled his head down, causing him to wince as it throbbed again. Then she started to gently feel his scalp, causing him to wince as her fingers pressed into the flesh while she spread his hair apart to see the condition of his scalp. "How does this feel? Describe it to me," She said as she continued to push on his scalp.
"Rather painful to be honest, like I rammed it into a streetlight a lot," He replied while wincing as his head throbbed again while pain radiated through his scalp, prompting him to close his eyes tightly.
"Well it sure fucking looks like you did that!" T'Ana stated as she let go of his head and walked away. "Your entire scalp's the color of a purple grape and extremely tender to the touch like you were hit with a fucking meat tenderizer," She continued as she grabbed the clipboard and started to write on it with a pen. "I'll have Nurse Gazelle take you to get x-rayed so we can see what damage you did to your fucking body," She finished before she opened the door and stuck her head out.
"Hey! Nurse Gazelle! Get your fucking self in here!" She shouted into the hallway rather loudly before she turned away as she continued to write on the clipboard, while Gavin looked at her with extreme confusion.
'What the fuck?!' He thought as he stared at her, before he heard hoofsteps quickly approaching from the hallway. 'Why the fuck did she do that?!' he continued before a nurse hurried into the room and came to a stop just past the doorway.
Said nurse stood 5 foot 5 inches tall and was an anthro female gazelle who looked young. She had reddish brown fur on her head, with light cream fur on the front of her neck that ran from the base of her head all the way down to her chest. More light cream fur wrapped around the tip of her somewhat short snout, ending about a half inch behind her large black nose and forming a long line that ran up her snout all the way to the tops of her eyes, where it spread out and disappeared under her hair. Her eyes were somewhat small and dark blue in color with light makeup on her eyelids and long lashes, and pale pink lipstick sat on her luscious-looking plump lips. Her hair was blonde and rather short, ending just above her eyes and wrapping around the top of her head, with her large ears sticking out sideways to reveal their light cream insides. Sticking straight up from the top of her head were thick foot long black pointed horns that curved backwards and then forwards slightly, with several ridges in them. Her hands were small and had three fingers on each one that were black in color, each one having black nails near the ends of them like human fingers.
A somewhat small and round white nurse's hat with a bright red stripe running around it near the bottom sat on the top of her head between her horns. A white long sleeve button up shirt sat on her torso, and ended at her narrow waist, with the sleeves rolled up to just before her elbows and a gold nametag on her left breast that had the words "Jacqueline Gazelle" carved into it. The first few buttons of her shirt were undone, letting him see that some of the tops of her large breasts were light cream in color, as well as see that she was apparently not wearing a bra, as he could see large bumps underneath the fabric that presumably were her nipples. A white skirt hung down around her huge ass and ended at the top of her rather thick thighs, with a small fluffy tail sticking out behind her that appeared to be fully reddish brown in color. Her legs appeared to be covered in the same reddish brown fur as her arms and head, with creamish white socks on her hooved feet that reached up to just below her knees while a pair of simple white sneakers shaped like hooves sat on top of the socks.
"What is it Doctor T'Ana?" Nurse Gazelle asked as she looked at the feline, her voice sounding somewhat low in tone and slightly mature.
"Take Mr. Woodring here and x-ray the top of his head and his left shoulder, and then bring him back here," T'Ana instructed as she jerked her head in Gavin's direction.
"You got it Dr. T'anaaaaaaaaaaa," Nurse Gazelle said as she spotted Gavin and her eyes widened greatly, her voice trailing off as she looked him up and down, feeling her pussy instantly become soaked. "Hubba hubba what a hunk!" She muttered quietly, causing T'Ana to sigh while Gavin gained a confused look on his face as he stared at her face, having not heard what she'd said.
"Now, Nurse Gazelle, before I lose my fucking shit!" T'Ana growled, causing Nurse Gazelle to slowly nod while a large smile grew on the nurse's face.
"Come with me, Mr. Woodring," The gazelle said to him with a warm look on her face along with something else, although he had no idea what it was.
"Alright," he replied before he got off the table and headed towards her, feeling rather confused as she continued to stare at him. 'What the fuck is going on with her? Why's she acting like that?' he thought as he reached the door and stepped out into the hallway while she watched him closely. 'Are my bruises that noticeable?' he questioned as he looked at his left shoulder and reached a hand up to the top of his head, wincing as he did so. 'I didn't think they were,' he finished while Nurse Gazelle stepped out into the hallway and shut the door behind her.
"Follow me handsome," She said with a tone in her voice that he couldn't quite place before she started to walk down the hallway, swaying her huge hips that looked like she'd given birth several times as she did so, which made him blush a bit.
'What the fuck?!' Gavin thought with confusion as he looked up from her swaying ass and hips to the back of her head, his shorts feeling a bit tighter as he did so. 'Why is she doing that?!' He continued as they walked down the hallway. 'Is that how she normally walks?'
'Oh, I hope this handsome hunk is watching!' Nurse Gazelle thought with a perverted grin as she led him down the hallway. 'I want him to see what he'll be getting a piece of eventually,' She continued as she wagged her tail while she felt her pussy grow wetter with arousal, a few drops rolling down her thighs only to be rubbed against each other as they went and get absorbed by her fur. 'Oh I have to get his number and address!' She finished with a determined look on her face as they eventually reached a dark brown door that had a white sign to the right of it with thick blocky black letters on it that read "X-RAY 1," with a black screen directly above it.
She pulled the door open and gestured for him to go inside, prompting him to do so, while she licked her lips as she spotted the tent in his shorts. 'Oh yes! This is going to be very fun!' She thought as he stepped into the large room, which had dark green walls and a dark green ceiling, while the floor was the same as that in the hallway. In the center of the room sat a large light gray metal table with a small white cushion at one end and a few metal bars attached to panels on the sides of it, with the white "head" of the x-ray machine sitting directly over the middle of it via a long white mechanical arm that was attached to the far wall. In the far right corner was a black changing screen, while a short wall stuck out to the left of the table, with clear glass in it that revealed that a large black lever set in a wall along with a large black control panel covered in buttons, a large black box that was presumably some sort of printer, and a black door led into the smaller room.
"Okay you sexy hunk, get yourself behind that screen and change so we can get you x-rayed," Nurse Gazelle said to him with a large smile and a bit of a blush as she shut the door and flipped a white switch to her left, causing the screen above the door to turn on and reveal the words "X-Ray in Progress" in light red letters.
"Yes Nurse Gazelle," Gavin replied with a nod and a small blush as he headed over to the screen and got behind it, finding a large light green box against the wall next to a large dark blue laundry hamper. 'Wow, I've never been called that before,' He thought to himself with surprise. 'It feels weird.'
"Oh please, call me Jackie," She said with a giggle that had a bit of a sharp tone to it while he opened the box and found light blue hospital gowns inside. "Once you're dressed I'd like you to get on the table," She continued as he quickly got undressed down to his underwear and put on the gown, leaving on his necklace before he attempted to tie up the gown behind his back.
"Will do Nurse Jackie," He replied as he finished tying the knot after a few seconds before he set his things on the small black chair right next to the screen. He then walked out from behind the screen, feeling grateful that his dick had softened almost completely, and headed over to the table.
When he reached it, he sat on it in the exact middle, shivering a little as the cold metal pressed against his flesh through the thin gown. "Okay, now lay down on your back," Nurse Gazelle said to him as she walked over and grabbed the head of the machine with one hand while looking him up and down with her eyes, licking her lips as she did so. "Good," She continued as she saw him do just that before she positioned the head so that it was facing the upper portion of his head. "Now then, stay still while I take the x-ray," She finished before she turned and quickly walked over to the black door, which she opened with a small black key before she headed inside and shut the door. She then headed over to the lever and pulled it down, causing a low hum to start to come out of the X-ray machine.
The hum continued for about ten minutes before it ended, and he heard an intercom turn on. "Okay sexy, turn your head to the left and hold it please," Nurse Gazelle said, prompting him to do just that while blushing at the compliment. "Thank you sweet thing," She continued before she pulled the lever again while the printer started to run, causing the machine to hum again.
'Okay, what is with the compliments?' Gavin thought with confusion as he laid there, listening to the hum of the machine. 'Is she just trying to make me feel comfortable in the hospital? Or does she always give out compliments like this?' he continued before hearing the hum die down and disappear after another ten minutes had passed.
"Alright, now I need to look at the other side of your cute face," Nurse Gazelle said with a large smile into the intercom, prompting him to turn his head to the right, wincing as his head continued to throb. "Thank you sweetie," She continued before pulling the lever a third time, causing the machine to start running once more.
'Man how many compliments is she going to give me?' He questioned with curiosity as he laid there while his head continued to periodically throb with pain. 'She's really trying to butter me up with them!' He continued as the machine did its work before stopping.
Then, he heard a door open before Nurse Gazelle started to speak once more. "Okay, let me just adjust this so we can get a clear view of your shoulder," She said as she walked over to the table and grabbed the head of the machine, his eyes facing her covered belly while she started to move the machine. 'Fuck, he looks so handsome!' she thought as she moved the machine so that it was facing his left shoulder. 'Oh I hope he's super hung!' she continued as she looked at his covered crotch for several seconds with another lick of her lips before she turned and headed back into the control room.
"Alright sweet cheeks, just one more x-ray and then we'll be done," She informed him before she pulled the lever while the printer made more x-rays, causing the machine to start running once more.
'Nice,' Gavin thought as he laid there while the machine did its work. 'Hopefully this all won't be ridiculously expensive,' He continued with a bit of worry. 'I mean, I have a decent amount of money saved up thanks to all the odd jobs I've worked over the past few years and the birthday money I'd get at the orphanage, but not $6,000 dollars. Actually, wait, how much do x-rays cost?' he questioned with curiosity, realizing that he didn't know the prices for them other than that they were expensive. 'Oh I hope they aren't extremely expensive!' He finished as he waited for the machine to finish its work, which took it about ten minutes to do.
When the hum of the machine stopped, Nurse Gazelle smiled and let go of the lever. "Alright sweetie, you can get off the table and get redressed," She said into the intercom, prompting him to nod and wince with pain from his throbbing head before he gently pushed the machine away from him and sat up. He then turned and headed to the changing screen while she sighed happily as she turned to look at the printer, quickly changing back into his clothes and stepping out from behind it in about five minutes, with him having tossed the gown into the hamper.
"Alright, follow me," Nurse Gazelle said to him as she walked out of the control room with a manilla folder in her hands and headed towards the entrance door, prompting him to go after her.
As they walked towards the door, Nurse Gazelle went "Oops!" as the manilla folder in her hands fell down, causing the x-rays to fly out onto the floor in front of her. "Clumsy me! Let me get these real quick," She said before she got down on her hands and knees, crouching down and spreading her legs a bit as she did so while reaching out and picking up an x-ray with a large smirk on her face.
'Oh my fucking Kami!' Gavin thought as he stared at her, seeing that her skirt had pulled up when she'd bent over to reveal her ass in its bare glory. He had barely had enough time to process what he was seeing until she spread open her legs a little, and his eyes had widened to the size of dinnerplates, his face burning with a blush. Nestled between her legs was a hyper humanoid pussy whose lips were light cream in color, with a rather large clitoris peaking out of it at one end. The whole thing was as big as a soccerball, and the fur near the edge of its lips looked somewhat wet. 'Another hyper?! Why is she not wearing any underwear or an anthro suit if the skirt does that when she bends over?!' He questioned as he continued to stare at her for about twenty seconds before he turned away with a deep blush, a small tent in his shorts as well, while Nurse Gazelle smirked as she peeked at him while getting the other x-rays.
'Looks like he enjoyed the view,' She thought as she put the x-rays in the folder before she got up onto her feet and pulled her skirt down over her ass while looking at the tent in his shorts. 'Good. I can't wait to let him have a go at me,' She continued before she moved over to the door and opened it. "Come on handsome. We shouldn't keep Dr. T'Ana waiting," She said to him, prompting him to look at the door and relax before he walked to it and out into the hallway.
'Oh thank goodness that's over!' He thought as she shut the door after turning off the switch and started walking down the hallway, prompting him to go after her. 'I can't believe she didn't wear any underwear when her skirt could do that!' he continued before he saw that she was swaying her hips and ass side to side again and blushed again. 'Man, this day has been full of some big surprises so far!' He finished as they continued to go down the hallway while he attempted to hide the tent in his shorts, not wanting Dr. T'Ana to see it.
That proved to be a bit difficult to do thanks to the swaying hips and ass of Nurse Gazelle, but he managed to get it almost completely down by the time they reached the examination room he had been put in earlier.
Nurse Gazelle opened the door for him and let him walk inside first with a large smile on her face as she looked at him, with him seeing Dr. T'Ana was playing with a ball of bright orange yarn on the counter. "Dr. T'Ana, here are the x-rays," She said as she walked inside after Gavin, causing the feline to let out a "Mrow" of fright before she jumped a few feet into the air and landed on her feet with her fur all puffed up, breathing heavily as she turned around to look at them.
"God fucking dammit Nurse Gazelle! How many times have I told you to fucking knock?!" She growled angrily as she glared at the nurse, who shut the door behind her as she stood there, staring blankly at T'Ana.
"I don't know. Two times?" Nurse Gazelle replied with a shrug before she held out the manilla folder. "Here's the x-rays," She continued while T'Ana growled louder with rage as she stared daggers at the nurse.
"It's been way fucking more than two times you shithead!" T'Ana spat as she snatched the folder from her hands while stuffing the yarn ball into a pocket. "Now let's see how badly you fucked up your skull," T'Ana continued angrily as she opened the folder and pulled out the x-rays while he walked over to the table and sat down on it, before she clipped them onto the x-ray light and turned it on, illuminating the x-rays.
"Hmmmm, interesting," She said almost immediately as she stared at them, tapping her chin with one of her five fingers on her right hand. "Very interesting," She continued as her slit pupils narrowed a little while Gavin looked at the x-rays with intrigue, attempting to make sense of them as well.
He arched an eyebrow as he carefully looked at the top of his skull, leaning forward as he focused on them. "Are there no fractures in my head?" He questioned with confusion.
"I don't see any, and that shouldn't be the case with how fucking bruised your head is," T'Ana said with an intrigued hum as she looked at the x-rays closely.
"What about my shoulder?" he asked her as he looked at the x-ray of his shoulder.
"Your shoulder's fucking fine! It's just bruised," T'Ana replied as she continued to look at the x-rays of his head, causing him to sigh with relief while feeling a bit surprised at that revelation.
'What the fuck?! How can there be no fractures in my skull with how hard I was hit by that mallet?' he questioned as he and T'Ana continued to look at the x-rays, while Nurse Gazelle stared at him with a hungry look on her face. 'What, are my bones made out of steel or something?' he continued with a small chuckle, before his eyes widened as he processed what he'd just thought.
'Wait! Waitwaitwaitwaitwait! That might be a possibility based on what Kami told me all those years ago,' He thought to himself. 'Could I have some sort of enhanced durability?' He questioned as he rested a hand on his head and winced as his fingers pressed against his bruised scalp. 'Or maybe some sort of healing ability?' he continued with curiosity. 'How could I figure out which one?' He finished as he rubbed his chin, which made Nurse Gazelle smile more as she watched him.
"Hmmm, we'll have to run a couple of tests," Dr. T'Ana said after a couple minutes had passed. "Nurse Gazelle, tell Nurse Catherine to get her scaly fucking ass down here so we can do a bone biopsy and blood draw, and then head to Room 43. Mr. Herbert's due to get his blood drawn," She stated, shaking Nurse Gazelle out of her daze.
"Yes Doctor," Nurse Gazelle replied with a nod and slight frown before she turned and headed out of the room, but not before looking at Gavin once more for a few seconds as he looked at T'Ana with intrigue. 'Such a hunk!' She thought with a large smile as she left the room and headed down the hallway. 'I'm so glad he came in today!'
"A bone biopsy? Will it hurt a lot?" He asked T'Ana as she continued to look at his x-rays with intrigue.
"Fuck yeah it'll hurt! We're taking a piece of bone from your body!" T'Ana exclaimed with annoyance as she rubbed her chin a few more times before she turned and headed over to his file to write in it again. "Fucking stupid question to ask!" She grumbled, causing him to have a somewhat embarrassed look on his face while she grabbed a piece of paper from a cabinet. "Here's a form I need you to fill out."
"Sorry," he apologized as he looked at her and took the form and the pen she offered as well. "And sorry for coming in so early," he continued. "I'm sure you don't like that."
"No I fucking don't, but I signed up for this fucking gig, so I gotta let it fuck my ass sideways when it wants to!" T'Ana replied with a growl of frustration as she continued to write on the file before she stopped and looked back at the x-rays with intrigue. 'What the fuck is going on with him? He should have comminuted and oblique fractures on his skull with how fucking bruised he is, but he has absolutely none! Not even a chip!' She thought as she walked back over and rubbed her chin while she looked more closely at the images. 'It's fucking weird!' She continued while Gavin looked at the x-rays once more.
'Man that is weird,' he thought as he looked at the undamaged bones of the top of his skull and left shoulder, amazed that they weren't damaged at all from the huge mallet strike he'd gotten from the evil duck. 'I really hope it is some sort of power, cause that would be awesome!' He continued with a smile, feeling a bit excited before he looked at the form.
'This is for the bone biopsy,' he thought, before he started to write on it. 'Better fill it out I guess,' he continued with a small smile. 'This'll be my first ever bone biopsy, and hopefully my last.'
Another minute went by before the door opened, and Nurse Gazelle stepped inside with a few vials in her hands, setting them on the nearby countertop before she left the room with a frown while he handed T'Ana the pen and form, which she put into his file. 'Damnit! I better hurry this up so I can see him again before he leaves!' She thought as she walked away.
"You called Dr. T'Ana?" A blatantly seductive and somewhat mature-sounding female voice with a slight high pitch tone to it said from the open doorway, sending shivers down his spine before another nurse stepped into the room.
Said nurse was a 5 foot 3 inch tall female anthro lizard with pale pink scales covered in dark pink spots. Her large blunt head had dark pink lipstick on her large lips that formed a gentle "S" shape on either side of her jaw, dark purple eyeshadow on her upper eyelids, bright pink eyes, somewhat small nostrils, and long black lashes. Underneath both of her eyes were spots in the shape of a heart, while a large white nurse's hat that was circular in shape and spread outwards and upwards sat on her head angled back a bit, with a large bright red medical cross on the front of it. A white nurse's gown sat on her curvy body, with it starting just below the top of her very large tits and hugging her body as the skirt started at her waist and ran down to her knees. Two rows of dull white buttons held the gown together as they ran down to her somewhat narrow waist, while a white cloth belt was tied around her waist with a large bow on her back and a small white nametag sat on her left breast with the word "Catherine" written on it in elegant black letters. Black leggings could be seen running out from underneath the skirt and down to her humanoid feet, with simple white shoes on her feet that showed off the tops of the appendages, revealing the leggings covered them as well. A 4-foot-long and rather thick tail that matched her body's color scheme stuck out from behind her through a slit in the skirt, while her slender-looking arms stuck out of white sleeves that ended at her elbows, with the left sleeve having a bright red medical cross on it right below her shoulder.
His eyes immediately were drawn to the two large empty glass syringes she was holding in her right arm that appeared to be as big as she was with the 1 ½ foot long needles attached to them. 'What the actual fuck?! Why does she have a syringe that big?!' He questioned as he stared at it. 'And why make syringes that are that big?'
"Nurse Catherine, I need you to draw some bone and blood from Mr. Woodring here," T'Ana said as she took down the x-rays and walked over to where she'd left his file. "Don't draw too fucking much," She continued as she looked at the lizard with a steely gaze.
"Of course Doctor," Nurse Catherine replied with a smile as her tongue, which was colored a dark purple and forked at the tip, flicked in and out as she spoke. "I'd be happy to do that," She continued as she turned her attention to Gavin and grinned as she hefted up her syringe in both of her four-fingered hands, which had very short bright pink claws on them, and walked towards him, but not before setting the other syringe in a corner with the needle pointing upwards.
'Oh dear Kami is she going to use that on me?!' Gavin thought with shock as he watched her approach, his eyes locked onto the giant syringe. 'There's no way she can use it!' he continued before she came to a stop in front of him and smiled widely at him, her eyes having a look in them that he didn't recognize.
"Stick out the arm you want me to stick, please," She said gently as she lowered the syringe and pulled out an alcohol wipe from the cabinet to her left. "Left or right, it doesn't matter," She continued with a large smile and giggle that sent shivers down his spine. "I'll take up that beautiful blood either way."
"An acceptable amount, Nurse Catherine," T'Ana growled as she looked at the lizard and glared at her briefly, while the lizard smirked as she tasted the air with her tongue again.
"Ummm, oookay," Gavin said somewhat hesitantly before he held out his right arm, wincing as his head continued to pulse with pain.
"Wonderful," Nurse Catherine replied with a giggle that sent more shivers through him as she tore open the wipe and rubbed down the skin in the crook of his elbow before tossing it into the nearby garbage can. "Mmmm, now, let me take some blood," She continued as she lifted up the syringe with both hands and aimed it at his arm, causing his eyes to widen more while his jaw dropped.
'She's going to use that thing on me?!' He thought as she giggled ominously.
"Oh, you will love this," Catherine said with a large smile before she jabbed the fat needle of the syringe into his arm, causing him to yell out "Ow!" loudly for a second as the pain from the penetrating needle ran through his arm.
"Holy crap!" He exclaimed with shock as he stared at the syringe jabbed into his arm. "You actually put that in me!" he stated with shock while feeling a bit worried about the damage it could potentially be doing.
"Yes, and now it's time for you to give me your blood," Catherine purred with a large smile and flutter of her lashes as her tail wagged behind her, while T'Ana frowned as she and Gavin watched the nurse reach up and grab the top of the plunger. "Don't worry, I promise it won't hurt a bit," She continued before she started to giggle as she gently pulled on the plunger, causing his blood to run up the needle and start filling the large syringe, which was about a foot and a half in diameter.
'Oh my fucking Kami!' he thought with shock as he watched his blood flow into the syringe while she continued to pull on the plunger. 'This is ridiculous!' He continued as the level of blood grew more and more inside the syringe.
"Ohhh, there's nothing like the feeling I get from doing this!" Catherine moaned with a tone that he was fairly certain was one of lust as she pulled out more and more of his blood, causing him to start feeling a bit woozy while she wiggled her hips side to side.
"That's enough Nurse Catherine!" T'Ana stated firmly as she watched the level of blood closely, only for Catherine to not respond. "Hey scaley bitch! Stop!" she growled at Catherine, who shook her head as she was brought out of her thoughts. "You take any more of his blood and he'll pass out!" She continued as she gestured to Gavin with a hand. "You've gotten plenty of blood from him."
"Mmmm, I suppose so," Catherine replied with a bit of disappointment in her voice as she looked at her large syringe and then pulled it out of his arm, causing him to wince and firmly hold his thumb down over where the needle had been in his skin. She then smirked as she put the syringe to the side before she grabbed the empty syringe and a bandage and gauze from the cabinet. "Here you go. A cute bandage for a sweet cutie who gave me such lovely-looking blood," She continued with a purr as she handed him a pink bandage with a bright red medical cross in the center of it.
'Okay, she's interesting,' He thought as he put the gauze on the needle mark and then put the bandage on top of it. 'Still can't believe she drew my blood with that big ass syringe, much less that much!' he continued as he looked over at the blood-filled syringe with surprise.
"Now I get to pierce your bone and take some of it," Catherine said excitedly as she picked up her empty syringe and hugged it tightly.
"Not until he's numbed first bitch," Dr. T'Ana replied before she pulled out a clear-capped syringe filled with a dark orange liquid and uncapped it, revealing the short sharp needle at the end of it. She then quickly inserted the needle into the top of his right thigh, causing him to flinch slightly while he looked at her with surprise before she slowly pushed the plunger, sending the liquid into his body. "The burning should stop in about a minute or so."
As soon as she did that, he felt the skin surrounding the needle immediately start to burn like it was bathed in liquid fire, prompting him to grit his teeth and clench his hands a bit while his head continued to throb with pain. 'Oh why do nerve-numbing solutions have to hurt so much?!' He questioned while T'Ana finished injecting him and removed the syringe before tossing it into a nearby sharps bucket. 'Whywhywhywhywhy?!' he continued as he clenched his hands harder as the burning sensation increased, while Catherine wagged her tail with eager anticipation as she looked at him.
'Oh, such a nice physique, unlike the other males who've come in today,' She thought while looking him up and down. 'Not too muscular, but not fat either. And those eyes of his are quite a lovely shade of blue,' She continued as her tongue flicked out into the air again as she breathed, before Gavin started to relax as he felt the burning sensation die down rather quickly after about a minute had passed. 'What a breath of fresh air!'
"Do you feel this?" T'Ana asked him as she extended a dark orange feline claw from her right pointer finger and pressed it into the skin she had jabbed.
"I don't feel a thing," He replied with a shake of his head.
"Great! Go ahead Catherine! Just don't fucking break his leg," T'Ana said to the lizard with a frown, while Catherine smirked and Gavin gained a shocked look on his face.
"Oh, but Doctor T'Ana," Catherine began as she raised the syringe up above his right thigh, aiming the very pointy tip of the needle at it. "That's the only way I can get to the squishy and bloody part of his bone!" she continued with a giggle that sent shivers down Gavin's spine before she pulled the syringe down towards his leg very quickly, causing his eyes to widen more.
'Oh shit!' He thought before he saw the needle penetrate his skin, with him not feeling a single thing thanks to the medicine. Then he felt something hard hit his femur without causing any pain before he witnessed the syringe immediately become covered in cracks and then shatter a split second later, making everyone's eyes widen with shock.
"Holy fucking shit!" Dr. T'Ana exclaimed with shock as they stared at the broken glass attached to the needle in his leg. "What in the goddamn fucking hell just happened?!" She asked.
"I do not know, but I am going to need a new syringe to get inside his bones," Catherine said calmly as she looked at the broken remains of her syringe. 'My syringe! Broken beyond repair! How did he do it?!' She questioned with some anger as she looked up at Gavin, who had an extremely confused look on his face as he looked at the remains as well. 'What forces did he conspire with?!'
'Holy shit that happened!' Gavin thought with shock and alarm before he reached out and gently took hold of the needle right below the broken glass on the top of it. 'I broke the syringe! What the actual fuck?!' He continued as he started to pull on the needle, feeling it slowly start to come out. 'Looks like I might be right about having some sort of enhanced durability,' He finished with a bit of excitement as inch after inch of the needle came out of his flesh until the very tip came out, and his eyes widened as he saw that the tip of it was split a bit, before he rested a hand on the needle mark on his leg right as blood started to come out of it. "So, um, does this mean we're not doing a bone biopsy today?" he asked as he looked from the needle in his hand to T'Ana before he held the needle out to her.
"Ummm, no we're fucking not," T'Ana replied as she took the needle and looked at it, her eyes widening more upon seeing the split end of it. "Holy fucking shit! I've never seen this happen before!" She continued. "Catherine, bandage Mr. Woodring up please while I figure out what the fuck we should do next!" She stated as she turned away and looked at the needle more closely.
"Of course Doctor T'Ana," Catherine replied with a smile as she looked at Gavin, sending shivers down his spine again before she pulled out another pink bandage that was larger than the previous one and some gauze. "It's too bad. I was so looking forward to getting out the insides of your bones," She continued as he removed his hand from his leg while she bandaged it up, wrapping the gauze around his leg a couple times before putting the bandage on top of it like it was a bow.
"I could tell," Gavin said simply with a nod while he looked at her, feeling a bit nervous while her hands trailed across his flesh and her eyes looked at his face intently. "It would have been an interesting experience that I'd never forget," he continued, causing her to giggle again.
"Oh you most certainly wouldn't have," Catherine replied with a flutter of her lashes as she looked at him, sending shivers down his spine while he fought to keep himself from becoming erect, as he didn't want them to see a tent in his shorts. "I've been told I'm quite memorable," She continued with another giggle that lasted about thirty seconds, getting louder during that time while Gavin looked at her with an arched eyebrow.
'You certainly are memorable,' He thought before T'Ana growled as she continued to look at the broken needle, while Catherine carefully stepped over the glass and grabbed a light brown broom and dark gray dustpan that was sitting in a corner to clean up the broken glass.
'Hmmm, a bone biopsy would be very helpful with figuring out how he didn't break a single bone when he was smacked in the head, although based on what I just saw, I have some theories,' T'Ana thought as she set the needle down and looked at the file. 'I need to do some digging and planning before I do anything else. I can't let someone as handsome and interesting as him slip through my fingers like this,' She continued with a smirk.
"Alright, Mr. Woodring, we're done with this appointment," T'Ana said as she turned to look at him while Catherine swept up the glass and put it in the sharps container. "Nurse Catherine, you can go ahead and take his blood down to the lab. I'll be there in a couple minutes to deal with the fucking stuff," She continued, prompting Catherine to giggle and nod as she took up her syringe after putting up the broom and dustpan.
"See you later, Mr. Woodring," Catherine purred as she flicked her tongue in his direction, sending a large shudder of arousal and a bit of fear through him before she left the room.
"Scaley blood-obsessed fucking bitch," T'Ana spat once the door had fully shut. "Anyways, the anesthetic in your leg should be gone within half an hour. If it lasts longer than six hours, come back and let us know," She told him firmly while looking him up and down. "I'll contact you once I determine what my next move with you should be, hopefully in the next couple of days if the hospital doesn't fuck me over like it did last year!" She growled with anger, clenching her hands tightly into fists, before she shook her head.
"Um, okay," Gavin said with a nod. 'Sounds like last year was pretty rough with her,' He thought as she slowly relaxed her hands. 'Hopefully not as rough as the hospital was back in my old life,' he continued with a bit of worry.
Then, the door opened, and Nurse Gazelle stuck her head into the room. "Doctor T'Ana, Doctor Vindaloo needs your opinion on a case right now in his office," She said, causing T'Ana to growl with rage.
"Ugh! That fucking quack of a doctor!" She exclaimed angrily, rolling her eyes as she spoke. "Let me finish talking with Mr. Woodring here in private, and then you can take Mr. Wooding here back up front so he can pay his bill with M'Ress and go back home to his girlfriend," She continued as she pulled out a couple pieces of paper and handed them over to the nurse.
"I don't live with a girlfriend or even have one," Gavin replied as he looked at T'Ana, causing Nurse Gazelle's face to gain a massive smile while T'Ana cocked her head to one side.
"You're shitting me. A human as good-looking as you without a girlfriend? Impossible," T'Ana said with a shake of her head.
"Trust me, it's not impossible," Gavin replied with a shake of his head. "I know a few girls who are friends with me, but we're not romantically involved at all," he continued while Nurse Gazelle shut the door and grinned almost evilly as she stood in the hallway, her tail wagging as fast as possible. "I'm as single as a needle in a haystack."
"Uh-huh," T'Ana said with intrigue. 'Fuck yeah! I gotta chance to bag myself someone!' She cheered with glee. "Well maybe that'll fucking change soon," She continued with a warm smile. "Now then, before you go, I want to give you something," She stated before she reached down to the top of her baggy pants and took hold of them, prompting him to arch an eyebrow with confusion.
"Um, what would that be, exactly?" He asked with uncertainty. 'She's not about to do what I think she's about to do, is she?' He questioned before he saw her grin widely.
"Give you a good look of what I have to offer," She replied with a shit-eating grin before she yanked down her baggy pants, causing his eyes to widen with shock.
"What?!" He exclaimed as he saw that she had on a simple black thong with light blue trim that hugged her crotch, which she then pulled down to completely expose herself. 'What the fuck is going on today?!' He questioned as he stared at her exposed humanoid pussy, which looked to be about the size of a softball that was very plump and nestled between her decently thick thighs. Its lips were covered in the same orange fur as the rest of her body, with the point of what he presumed was her clitoris sticking out through the front edge of her lips by about a half a centimeter. The very edges of her lips appeared to be a bright shade of reddish pink and the fur around her lips was wet with what he really hoped was pussyjuice and not urine, with him seeing a large drop form on the tip of her clitoris before his very eyes. 'WHAT THE FUUUUUUCK?!' he mentally screamed.
"Heh, you like what you see you handsome young man?" She asked as she looked at him, chuckling at the look on his face. "This could be yours in the future," She continued as she kept her pants and underwear down for several more seconds, grinning wider before she pulled them back up, covering it completely. "Now then, let's get you going with Nurse Brainless out there," She finished with a roll of her eyes while Gavin's blush on his face started to die down.
'Okay, seriously, what the fuck is going on today? It's not even lunchtime and I've seen the pussies of three ladies!' Gavin thought with extreme confusion as he slowly got up, only to realize that he had a bit of a tent in his shorts, which made him blush a little harder. 'Dammit! They're going to see that!' he continued before he started to fiddle with his shorts as T'Ana grabbed his file and the x-rays, trying to make his tent less noticeable. 'Fuck! Go down! Go down!' He finished as the two of them headed to the door and stepped out of the room, with him shutting the door behind them while Nurse Gazelle looked at him with a rather large smile.
"Alright Nurse Gazelle, he's in your hooves," T'Ana replied before looking at Gavin with a large smile and winking at him. "Have a wonderful fucking day, Gavin," She continued before she turned and started walking down the hallway, leaving him with a blush on his face while he felt his cock twitch a bit as it started to slowly lose its erect state.
"Um, thank you, Dr. T'Ana," Gavin called out to her as he watched her walk away, before he turned to Nurse Gazelle, who hadn't lost her huge smile. "Alright, um, lead the way," he said to her, causing her to giggle with one hand to her mouth.
"Of course Gavin," Nurse Gazelle replied before she turned and started to walk down the hallway, prompting him to follow her. And once again, he had to fight his arousal as she started swaying her hips and ass side to side with each step she took.
'Again, what the fuck is going on today?!' He questioned as he kept his eyes off her swaying assets while they walked through the hallway. 'Why are they doing this to me? I'm not that attractive,' He continued with confusion.
Eventually, they exited the hallway and entered the waiting room, which he saw had a few less people in it than there had been earlier, before they headed over to the front desk, with Gavin stopping in front of M'Ress while Nurse Gazelle went behind the desk. "M'Ress, Gavin here is done with his appointment," Gazelle told M'Ress as she handed her the papers T'Ana had given her, while another nurse, who was a middle-aged man who had aged nicely and had long black hair and gray eyes, typed away at the other computer with a flat look on his face.
"Thank you Nurse Gazelle," M'Ress purred as she looked at the papers and started to type on the computer. "I hope everything went well," She continued while Nurse Gazelle looked at Gavin and smiled widely as she giggled again, putting one hand to her lips and blowing him a kiss before she turned and left the lobby, with no one else in the lobby seeing her do that except Gavin.
"I-It did," Gavin replied with wide eyes as he looked at the door Nurse Gazelle had gone through. 'Okay, I'm pretty sure she was hitting on me there,' he thought with surprise. 'Wow, that's something I've never had happen to me before, in this world and my old one,' he continued, before he heard M'Ress speak again.
"Mr. Woodring, your total is $202.46," M'Ress informed him as she pushed a button on the keyboard, causing the printer to start running.
"Huh, I thought it'd be more for some reason," Gavin said with a bit of surprise as he pulled out his very fat wallet and dug around the cash for a few seconds, before he pulled out the proper change and handed it to her. 'I'm pleasantly surprised,' He thought as M'Ress took the cash and thumbed through it before opening up a cash register drawer that was apparently built into the desk and putting the cash inside it, while the printer continued to run.
"Alright, here is your prescription from Dr. T'Ana," She said as the printer stopped a few seconds later before she grabbed a sheet of paper from the top of it and handed them to him. Then she took the second piece of paper from the printer and quickly wrote on it for several seconds before handing it to him. "And here is your receipt. Come again, Mr. Woodring," She continued with a warm smile before she purred a bit, causing him to smile as he folded the papers and pocketed them.
"Thank you Miss M'Ress," He replied before he turned and started to walk away from the desk, feeling his head still throb with pain as he went. 'Hopefully I don't have to wait on the medicine Dr. T'Ana prescribed me,' He thought to himself as he headed towards the front doors, while M'Ress smiled more as she watched him walk away, before sighing and looking back at her computer once he stepped out of the hospital. 'I really don't want to deal with this pain anymore,' He continued before he turned to the right and started to walk down the light gray sidewalk, only to gain a surprised look upon seeing a somewhat small one-story building right next to the parking lot that was dark gray in color and made of bricks. It had a large parking lot of its own that was separated from the hospital's lot by a thin concrete barrier that was about a foot tall and large silver-gray windows that sat in its walls. A large black door sat at the front of the building, with black trim on the edge of the triangular roof. Completing its appearance was a set of a bright blue square sign above the door that read "Harvey's Drug Store" on it in curvy white letters.
"Huh, honestly I should have expected one to be close," Gavin said as he looked at the store for a few more seconds before he headed towards it. 'I hope they're not busy,' He continued, soon reaching the front door after a couple minutes of walking.
He then opened the door and stepped inside, where he saw that rows upon rows of dark gray shelves filled with various basic medical supplies like gauze, tampons, bandages, and toothpaste covered the first floor along with some beauty products like hair dye and lipstick. A long white countertop sat to his left, with a large black boxy computer sitting at the far end of it while a white one sat at the opposite end. Various small goodies such as gum and lighters could be seen for sale on top of the counter, while a large dark green cash register sat next to the white computer. A white printer sat against the wall behind the counter, while multiple bottles of drugs sat in a tall shelf next to it, locked behind reinforced glass. A large white sign hung above the black computer from the ceiling, with thick black letters on it that read "Prescription Pick Up/Drop Off." Right above the printer was a large white clock with black trim that let him know that it was just a few minutes before it was 9 o'clock in the morning.
Standing behind the register was a 4 foot 2 inch tall middle-aged woman with pale white skin on her thin body, a rather wrinkled face with a short nose and small blue eyes, and dark black hair with several white streaks in it that hung like a curtain down to the base of her neck. She was wearing a simple dark blue dress with short sleeves that ended just past her shoulders, a dark blue fake rose pinned to her left breast, a small pearl necklace around her neck, two gold earrings in the shape of pearls, and a pearl bracelet on her left wrist.
Standing behind the black computer, currently typing on it, was a 5 foot 8 inch tall young-looking man who had short light blonde hair that looked fuzzy, lightly tanned skin on his somewhat chubby body, a thick neck, a very short light blondish brown beard on his chin, and dark gray eyes set behind a pair of small black-rimmed glasses. A simple black t-shirt sat on his torso along with a pair of black shorts, while a white labcoat that hung down to his knees sat open on his body, with a white and blue striped square nametag hanging off the left side of his collar with the name "Leo Henroid, M.D." on it in blocky black letters.
Gavin could see a few people in the store and smiled upon seeing that no one was in front of the counter by the black computer. 'Nice, no one's in line!' he thought before he headed towards the counter, soon reaching it within thirty seconds.
"Hello young sir!" The man behind the counter said as he turned from the computer to look at Gavin, his voice sounding a bit high-pitched and slightly nasal in tone. "How can I help you today?" he asked him with a warm smile.
"I'm here to get the medicine that Dr. T'Ana prescribed me," he replied as he pulled out the folded papers from his pocket and opened them, before he handed him the one that had the prescription on it. "This one here," he continued.
"Alright, you've already paid for this, so let me just go get this for you and you can be on your way," Leo said with a smile before he turned and walked over to a white door that sat next to the glass-covered shelves.
"Great!" Gavin replied before he looked at the receipt while Leo pushed open the door and entered a back room, wanting to see what M'Ress had written on it. To his great surprise, he saw that she'd written him a message.
It read: "Here's my number cutie. Give me a call sometime. I'd love to get to know you better. Sincerely, Shiboline M'Ress."
"Oh my Kami," he stated softly with shock as he looked from the message to the phone number she had put on the paper, which had a small heart drawn right next to it. "I got a lady's number!" he continued. 'Holy crap! That's never happened to me before in my life!' He thought as he continued to reread the message. 'Man, this day really is something else. I've been flashed a few times by pretty women, learned I probably have some sort of extreme durability, and now I've gotten a pretty woman's phone number! Is anything else going to happen today that'll surprise me? Or is this the last thing?' he questioned with curiosity before he heard the door swing open and Leo start to speak again.
"Alright, here you are sir," Leo said while Gavin put away the receipt and looked at the man, who was holding a small white bottle with a pink rectangular label on one side along with the prescription. "Would you like it in a bag?" He asked, prompting him to nod. "Alright. Here you go sir," he continued as he pulled out a small white paper bag with the name of the store printed on it in dark blue elegant letters and put the bottle and prescription inside it before he held it out to him. "Come again soon."
"I'm sure I will at some point," Gavin replied as he took the bag with a smile and turned to leave, taking a few steps before he stopped and pulled out the medicine while his head continued to throb. 'Okay, what do the instructions on the prescription say for the medicine?' he thought as he looked at the paper carefully. '"Take one pill every six hours." Alright, that's easy enough to remember,' he continued before he popped open the bottle and dumped out a pill, which was as large as a pea, flat and oval in shape, and a dark blue color.
He then tossed it into his mouth and dry swallowed it while putting away the bottle and prescription. 'Alright, now that I've taken that, let me look at that list Muriel gave me,' he thought before he pulled out said list from his pocket and looked at it.
He saw that about ten things had been put on it in Muriel's handwriting, with four things on it that were in Courage's writing. "Okay, looks like I'll be going to a few different stores," He said with a nod as he started to walk towards the front door. "First stop, the general sto-"
"Smooch?" A somewhat mature-sounding and slightly high-pitched voice said from behind him, interrupting him and making him arch an eyebrow with confusion.
"What?" Gavin said with confusion upon hearing that, before he turned around to see who had spoken.
His eyes widened as he saw that a 6 ½ foot tall female bird was standing directly behind him, with over half of her height made up by her long legs. She had a rather curvy body covered in short sleek white feathers, with large lumps at the front of her body that presumably were her breasts. A bright red shiny heart-shaped piece of leather sat on her front, starting from the very fronts of her breasts and ending right between her legs, with her presumably wearing an anthro suit on just the lower half of her torso. A fan of dark purple tail feathers sat on her rear between her large-looking ass cheeks, while her roundish head, which sat on the end of a somewhat long and narrow neck, had long curly orange hair that stood practically straight up. Her large off-white wings looked like a cross between hands and wings, like the duck he had fought the previous day, and her large black eyes had bright red eyelids and long slightly curled eyelashes. Her pale-yellow beak was long and somewhat flat, ending in large lips that were a bit puffy and covered in bright red lipstick. Her long legs were completely covered in black leggings that hugged her flesh tightly, with faded red high heels on her feet and light grayish white netting running from her feet to her knees.
"Smooch smooch smooch smooch!" The bird said in response, holding out a couple small tubes of lipstick with her right wing, before she pointed at her red plump lips with one of the fingers of her left wing, a small plastic bag holding a couple things in it hanging from her left elbow.
"Ummm, what?" Gavin replied, feeling rather confused, while Leo spotted the bird, and his eyes widened greatly before he ducked underneath the counter, with the older lady doing the same thing.
"Smooch smooch smooch smooch!" The bird repeated as she wiggled the lipstick around and pointed at her lips.
"Umm, are you asking me which color looks better on you?" he asked her, prompting her to say "Smooch!" emphatically while nodding a few times. "Ohhh! I see!" he said with realization. "Um, let me see the colors," He continued as he held out a hand, prompting her to open the lipstick and put them in his palm.
"Okay, let's see what we got," He said as he looked at the tubes' labels, which read "Flamenco Red" and "Power Red." "Hmmm," He hummed as he held one tube up and compared the color of the lipstick to her outfit. "Well, I'm not a makeup expert by a long shot, but I think this 'Flamenco Red' is a bit brighter than your outfit," He continued as he squinted to attempt to see a difference, before closing the tube once he was done. "As for 'Power Red?'" He said as he held up the other tube and compared it to her. "To me it looks like it matches it exactly," He finished as he closed the other tube and handed them back to her. "Hope that helps."
"Smooch smooch!" The bird replied with a nod and smile on her beak before she tossed the "Flamenco Red" tube across the store, and he watched with surprise as it landed upright on a shelf full of lipstick.
'Wow, that was a pretty good throw!' He thought while the bird opened up the "Power Red" lipstick and expertly applied it to her lips with the help of a nearby mirror that was set up so people could see how different sunglasses looked on them. "Have a good one ma'am," he said to her before he turned and headed over to the front doors while the bird smiled and headed over to the counter to pay for her things. 'Well that was a thing,' He continued as he reached the door and went back outside, before he turned to the right and started to walk away from the store. 'Now then, on to the general store,' he finished with a smile, having a bit of an idea of where the store was in relation to his current position.
He'd only walked for about a minute before he heard "Smooch!" from behind him, prompting him to arch an eyebrow before he turned around. To his surprise, the bird he'd just helped was very quickly running towards him with a smile on her face, and she came to a stop about two feet away from him while he said, "What in the world?"
"Smooch smooch smooch!" She said with a smile before she grabbed one of his hands and pulled him in for a hug, causing him to blush while he felt her breasts press against his chest.
"You're um, welcome miss," Gavin replied as he hugged her back before letting go after a few seconds. "I'm glad I could help," He continued while she stopped hugging him and pulled her body off his, before she licked her lips, making them glisten with her saliva, which made him shudder with a bit of arousal. 'Gosh, those are some plump lips,' he thought as he looked at them. 'I don't think I've seen lips that plump ever!' he continued before his eyes widened as far as they could go while his body stiffened like a board as she pressed her lips against his face, covering nearly all of it with them as a tingling sensation went through him.
"SMOOOOCH!" She hummed as she kissed him for a few seconds while holding him by the shoulders, before she pulled her lips off his face with a loud "Smack!" leaving a large lipstick mark on his face. She then smiled wider at him before she let go of him, attached her plastic bag to some of the netting on her left leg, and took off into the air with a loud "Smooch!"
Gavin stood there for several seconds, body still stiff with shock while he processed what had just happened. He then blinked a few times and looked up in the sky to watch the bird fly off while he said "What the HECK?!" with shock in his voice. 'Okay, did I hit the lottery for weird things to happen to me today or something?!' he thought as the bird went further and further into the distance, before he looked down and slowly stared to head down the sidewalk again. 'Cause I certainly did not expect that to happen!' he continued as he walked, before he glanced at himself in a plate glass window of a nearby building. "Dang, that's a pretty big lipstick mark!" he continued with a chuckle of awe as he looked at his face for several seconds before he continued on his way, wiping his face with an emergency tissue he'd put in his pocket in case he had a very snotty sneeze or ate ice cream. "The biggest I've ever seen! I'm definitely not going to forget that!" He finished with another chuckle.
He continued to walk for about fifteen more minutes, looking around at the town as he went, before he spotted the somewhat large general store and smiled.
Said store was three stories tall and made of tannish brown bricks, with the flat roof being very light gray in color and having thick rectangular edges. The large double doors that sat in the front of the store were dark brown in color and had large square windows in the tops of them, with large rectangular windows on either side of the doors. A large dirty white wooden board with a couple of dirt stains on it sat above the doors, with the words "General Store" on it in simple red letters. Standing on top of the sign were more red letters that together made up the word "DILs," which meant that the store was owned by the DIL company, while large alleys sat on either side of the building, a couple of big dumpsters in them.
"Alright, I'm here," He said as he looked at the store and then at the list he had in his hand. "I hope they have everything I have on the list," He continued before he headed to the nearby intersection and crossed over to the other side of the street.
He then walked down the sidewalk and entered the building after a couple minutes of walking. When he stepped inside, he heard a small bell tinkle gently as he stepped onto the dark red mat that ran from the doors down the middle of the store all the way to the back of it, where the deli sat. The floor of the store was made up of light cream tiles with dark gray grout between them, while the walls were a light green with a hint of brown mixed into it and the ceiling tiles were a dark gray with white metal between them. Multiple tall shelves that were a gentle greenish brown color were set in several rows on either side of the red mat, while large open boxes holding various fruits and vegetables sat near the front of the building on either side of the mat and doors.
"Okay, let's do this," he said as he walked over to a short stack of dark blue grocery baskets and grabbed one before he looked at his list while he put his medicine in the basket. "Let's see, first thing I'll get is carrots," he muttered before he headed to the right of the store, seeing a few bags of carrots being misted as they sat in a black plastic tub with a price tag on it.
As he walked towards the carrots, he stopped when he saw a familiar fox with sunglasses walk up to the carrots and start to look at them. 'Oh my Kami! It's her!' Gavin thought as he stared at the fox who had kidnapped him and Muriel a few weeks ago, seeing that she was wearing her anthro suit. 'I didn't know if I'd ever see her again!' He continued, before he slowly walked over to the carrots while feeling a bit nervous. 'Oh please don't kidnap me again!' he finished as he reached the carrots and picked up a bag to look at, hearing the fox hum in thought as she looked at one big bag.
"Mmm-mm! These look absolutely perfect!" Cajun Fox said happily as she put them in her cart, which was full of food and spices. "They'll go perfect with my raccoon gumbo!" She continued before she turned to leave.
'I pray that the raccoon being used isn't an intelligent one!' He thought as he finished looking at another bag of carrots and set it in his basket before he headed over to a box of large tomatoes, as that was next on his list. 'Have a good one Cajun Fox,' he continued as he started to examine each tomato, seeing her start to walk past him from the corner of his eye. 'Don't eat any more people,' He finished as he put one nice-looking tomato into the basket and went to look for another.
"Well well, who do we have here?" Cajun Fox's cajun accented voice that was somewhat high-pitched said from his left while he felt a three-fingered furry pawlike hand tipped with short claws take hold of his left arm by his elbow, causing him to stiffen. "My handsome boy," She continued while he slowly turned his lead to look at her, letting him see that she had a bit of a smile on her face. "How you been doin? Eatin well?"
"Um, I've been doing fine," Gavin replied with a bit of nervousness. "How are your burns doing?" he asked her quietly, causing her to shrug.
"Pretty much all healed up, thanks to you," She said before lifting up her sunglasses while she continued to hold him by the arm. "Tell me, why'd ya do it?" She asked as she looked at him with intrigue.
"Well I couldn't just leave you there to get cooked by your own stew. I'm not that kind of person," Gavin replied with a small frown of annoyance. "Just don't try to cook anyone else, and we'll be good," He continued before he looked back at the tomato he was holding and decided that it was good enough to take.
"I see," Cajun said with intrigue before she set her sunglasses back down over her eyes. "Well thank you very much for doing that!" She continued with a smile, causing him to relax a bit. "I oughta give you a reward for doin that!" She stated before she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his cheek for a couple seconds, making him stiffen while his eyes widened with shock once more. "There you are handsome. Enjoy the rest of your day!" She finished as she pulled her lips back off his cheek and giggled softly before she turned and walked away from him. 'Just you wait you handsome boy,' She thought as she walked away, an evil grin appearing on her face. 'I'll have you over for dinner one of these days!'
'…again?!' Gavin thought as he put a hand to his cheek, feeling the wet spot left by Cajun's lips. 'I got kissed by another pretty lady! What the fuck?!' he continued before he looked down at his list and pulled out a pen he'd grabbed on his way out of the house that he used to mark off the items on the list. 'What's gonna happen next, I have sex with someone today?!' He thought with curiosity. 'Cause with what I've seen and experienced so far today, that doesn't seem too far off!' He finished with a small chuckle before he walked over to some plums that were on sale and started to pick out four good ones. "At least Cajun Fox isn't cooking any more people, I think," He muttered to himself as he picked up a plum and spotted a mushy spot on it, prompting him to grab a different plum that he found no blemishes on. "If that's the case, then maybe we can be friends," he continued before he grabbed the fourth plum and headed on to the next aisle to find the other items on his list.
When he entered the next aisle, he saw that a female anthro mature-looking kangaroo was looking at the baking soda with a frown on her face. Said kangaroo stood 6 foot 5 inches tall, and covered in pale purple fur, with pale cream fur running from right above her pouch all the way up her front to right above her eyes. Her snout curved upwards like a crescent and was tipped with an oval brilliant dark purple nose, with her lips looking rather plump and a pale pink color. Her eyebrows were somewhat thick and dark purple in color, sitting right above her large black eyes. Her ears were rather large and had somewhat long reddish purple tufts on the ends of them, with pale cream insides. Sitting between her ears was a large tuft of brilliant reddish purple hair that stuck upwards like a flame and curved forwards and downwards a bit at the tip, while around the base of her somewhat thin neck was a somewhat thick ruff of brilliant reddish purple fur. A small tuft of matching fur sat at the very end of her tail as well, while two large lumps could be seen on her chest, with matching lumps visible where her butt was located, which made him realize that she was wearing an anthro outfit of some sort.
"Confound it all!" The kangaroo growled with frustration as her eyes narrowed while looking at one box of baking soda that was in her hands, which had four fingers on each one. Her voice sounded grumpy and confident, as well as slightly high-pitched, authoritative, and mature. "This brand is not the one I always buy. They replaced it with another!" She continued with a huff while Gavin walked towards the baking soda.
"Umm, are you okay?" He asked her with concern, prompting her to whip her head towards him and glare at him, which made him stop in his tracks a few feet from her.
"Do I look like I am okay?!" She asked him angrily while holding up the box of baking soda, which was a Whisk Wonder brand. "This is not my brand!"
"O-kay," Gavin said with a bit of surprise. "Well, um, is there a reason you don't like that brand?" he asked her. "Does it not work as well as the one you normally use?"
"It's not the brand I use!" She growled with frustration before she set the box back on the shelf and crossed her arms.
"Okay, I get that. But do you know if it works as well as the one you usually buy?" Gavin asked her with a bit of an arched eyebrow.
"Well, no," The kangaroo replied with a shake of her head.
"Then why are you acting like this?" He asked her with confusion. "I mean, so what if it's a different brand," He said, making her frown. "For all we know the old brand could have been discontinued or something," he continued. "There's no reason to throw a fit over this. I mean seriously, there's way more important things to be upset over, like taxes and illegal activities like drug dealing," he stated firmly as he looked at her, only to see her frown more.
"Look, you're probably not going to listen to me cause I'm a teenager," he said with a sigh as he grabbed a box of baking soda and put it in his basket. "But let me at least give you some advice. Don't always be upset by change. It's a natural thing and it can be good and bad, trust me," he continued before he started to walk by her, making her turn her body to watch him leave. "I wish you a good day ma'am," he finished with a nod as he went down the aisle, while the kangaroo watched him leave with a bit of an intrigued look on her face.
'Well that was a thing,' he thought as he continued to walk down the aisle, moving to the other aisle on the other side of the store and coming to a stop in front of the vinegar bottles. 'I hope she takes my advice. I know I've tried to think like that over the years, and it's mostly worked,' he continued as he reached out and grabbed one of the dark reddish brown bottles of vinegar, putting it in the basket before he went further down the aisle and rounded the corner.
In the next aisle he saw that all sorts of seasonings and spices were on the shelves along with some grill supplies like brushes and aluminum foil. He also saw that two anthros were in the aisle as well who were looking at the spices.
One was a 5 foot 8 inch tall female young-looking mountain lion with short light tannish brown fur on her curvy body. She had bright orange hair on her head that hung down to her shoulders and had small curls on the outer edges that went upwards, while her somewhat large snout had a large black nose on it and short black whiskers. Her eyes were large, but he was unable to tell what color they were thanks to the large square lenses of her gentle green-framed glasses on top of them, which had gold ovals on the sides of them. She also had thick eyelashes and eyebrows, and pale pink lipstick sat on her lips, with a small black beauty mark to the left of her lower lip.
A gold necklace hung around the base of her short neck, and a beautiful light purple dress sat on her torso, starting from her shoulders and ending at the middle of her thick thighs. The top of her dress curved downwards to show off the top of the valley of her breasts before curving back up to her shoulders, with the sleeves of the dress ending just past her elbows. Two gold rings hung around her right wrist, with one around her left wrist, while a black belt with a large gold buckle was wrapped around her slim belly. Her chest appeared to be rather large, with the dress hugging it almost tightly along with her belly and large ass. A long and thick tail that reached down to the tops of her calves stuck out of a hole in her skirt, and her pawlike hands had four fingers on each of them, with a pair of simple light purple high heels on her feet that had narrow points and showed off the tops of her feet. A grocery basket was in her right hand and she was looking at a bottle of seasoning in her left hand.
The other anthro was a 5 foot 11 inch tall young-looking female donkey with a coat of dark brown fur on her body. A lighter shade of brown formed an oval shape from right above the large lumps that were presumably her breasts all the way down to her crotch. Her large eyes had somewhat short black eyelashes and were a gentle black color, while light gray fur surrounded her eyes and ran down the center of her snout all the way to her nose, which was also light gray in color as were her lips and chin. A simple light blue handkerchief was tied on top of her head, with holes cut out for her long ears to stick out. Said ears were tipped with black, and her short mane was pitch black and underneath the handkerchief, with some of it sticking out at the bottom and draped over her left shoulder as it ended right above her breasts, while a couple hairs stuck out from the front of the handkerchief. Her long tail hung between her large ass cheeks and had a large tuft of black fur at the tip of it, while her slender four-fingered hands were tipped with black hooflike nails. Her somewhat short legs ended in cloven black hooves as well, and a light brown woven stick basket hung in the crook of her left arm.
'Wow, those two are really pretty, just like the kangaroo was,' He thought with a smile as he looked at them for a few seconds before he turned his attention to his list to see what seasoning or spices Muriel wanted again. 'I bet they're married or at the very least have a boyfriend or girlfriend, cause with how pretty they are, the chances they don't have one is extremely small in my opinion,' he continued before he turned his attention to the shelves to look for cinnamon, cumin, and fennel.
As he did so, he failed to see the mountain lion look over at him and grin while lowering her glasses a bit to get a better look at him. "Well hello there, young man," She said with a gentle and ever so slightly high-pitched voice as he walked over and came to a stop next to her to grab a bottle of cumin. "How are you today?"
"I'm good ma'am," Gavin replied with a smile as he put the bottle of cumin in the basket and grabbed a bottle of fennel. 'Especially since my head's stopped pulsing with pain,' He thought happily. "How are you this fine morning?" He asked her as he started looking for cinnamon while he readjusted the basket in his arm.
"Oh I'm doing lovely today!" The cougar said with a large grin as she readjusted her glasses while she looked him up and down. "Tell me, what's your name?" She asked with curiosity.
"My name is Gavin Woodring ma'am," he answered. "What is your name?" He asked before he spotted a jar of cinnamon on the bottom shelf behind him and bent down to get it.
"I'm Janet Cougar," the cougar replied with a grin as she licked her lips while looking at his body. "It's very nice to meet you Gavin," She continued as he straightened himself out while putting the jar of cinnamon into his basket, putting out a hand for him to shake as she spoke. "I hope I see you around more," she continued.
"Well, it's nice to meet you Miss Cougar," he said as he took her hand and gently shook it, finding her fur to be somewhat soft as he did so. "And who knows, maybe you will," He continued with a smile before he let go of her hand.
"Oh please, call me Janet," She replied with a warm smile. 'And lover in the future,' She continued with an inward grin.
"Alright, Janet. I wish you a good day," Gavin said with a nod before he started to walk past her and the donkey, who was still looking at the spices. "Have a good one miss," he continued as he looked at the donkey.
"Thank you Mr. Woodring," the donkey replied with a soft high-pitched voice, smiling a little as he walked past her and over to the opposite aisle, passing by a couple of humans as he went.
When he reached the next aisle, he saw that a 5 foot 10 inch tall anthro mature female horse was standing in it as well as a middle-aged 6 foot tall black muscular man with a thick black beard and short dreads. The visible parts of the mare's body was a gentle reddish brown color, with her darker red mane curled at the ends as it draped over the left side of her neck and head, ending right at her shoulders. Her delicate-looking head had a slightly short snout, with dark red lipstick on her large lips and light grey eyeshadow around her large chocolate brown eyes.
A white shirt sat on her torso, with its sleeves rather puffy and ending just past her shoulders in bright red cuffs. A bright red collar ran along the edge of her shirt, which hugged her chest just enough so that he could see her breasts but not enough that he could tell how big they were. The shirt ended at her somewhat narrow waist, where a black belt with a brass buckle sat. A dark blue skirt hung from her waist all the way down to her knees, obscuring her ass, tail, and thighs from view. It had a light blue, navy blue, and bright red square pattern by the bottom of it that ran all the way around the skirt. Her humanlike feet, which had five toes on each of them tipped with dark brown hooflike nails, sat in somewhat dark green wedge sandals that were held in place via straps around her ankles and right behind her toes, and her slender humanlike hands had five fingers tipped in the same nails.
The mare frowned as she looked at the various coffee products in front of her, gripping her basket tightly as she did so. "Where is it?" She muttered as she looked from shelf to shelf. "Where is it?"
"Can I help you ma'am?" Gavin asked the mare, causing her to jump with fright. "Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you," He continued as she put a hand to her chest while she turned to look at him.
"Well you did, young man," The mare replied with a smile, her mature voice sounding full of life, kind, and a bit sassy. "I was just lookin for my coffee," She continued as she turned her attention back to the shelf in front of her, with the shelf behind her and to her right having more coffee products.
"What kind?" He asked as he walked over to her and looked at the shelf in front of her. "Maybe I can help. After all, two heads are better than one," He stated with a smile, causing her to chuckle, which sounded rather sweet to his ears.
"Heheh, that's true!" She replied with a warm smile. "It's called Herman's Evergreen Beans and Grounds," She continued, causing him to smile.
"Hey, what a coincidence, I'm looking for that too," he said before he turned and looked at the shelf behind her, starting from the top and slowly making his way down. "Found it!" he stated after looking for about thirty seconds. "Here you go!" He continued as he grabbed two of the large dark red and green striped coffee cans and handed one to the mare.
"Why thank you young man!" She replied with a warm smile as she set the can in her basket. "That's mighty kind of you to do!"
"Oh, you're welcome ma'am. I'm always happy to help people out!" Gavin said with a smile. "My name's Gavin Woodring, by the way. May I ask who you are miss?" he asked her with a bit of curiosity.
"My name is Honey Sugarman, Mr. Woodring," She replied happily. "It is very nice to meet you," She continued.
"It's very nice to meet you too, Miss Sugarman. I hope you have a wonderful day," He said before he turned and started to head down the aisle.
"Thank you honey. Have a wonderful day as well," Honey replied before she turned and started to walk away. "What a lovely boy! I'll have to tell Beatrice and Crackerjack about him when I get home!" She continued happily, while Gavin went down the next aisle and over to the opposite one on the other side of the store.
As he walked, he passed by a 6 foot tall four-armed thickly built female being who had smooth pale tannish skin on the visible parts of her body, with dark rust orange scales on the outer edges of her sides, thighs, and on the tops of her shoulders and arms. More scales covered her somewhat short neck and the top, sides, and back of her head, leaving only her cheeks and chin free of scales. Each of her large somewhat muscular arms ended in large four-fingered hands tipped with short and sharp black claws, with fingerless dark blue cloth gloves on them. Dark bluish gray metal wrapped around her arms from her wrists up to just above her elbows, with elegant silver metal cuffs on the ends by the wrists and elegant gold cuffs by her elbows. Three dark amber thorns stuck up from the metal right in front of the gold cuffs, pointing backwards for a few inches with their bases rimmed with silver shaped like a diamond, while two more thorns sat on silver metal plates set on the backs of her hands, each one surrounded by diamond rims. Brilliant neon purple lines wrap around the metal right below her wrists and form hornlike symbols separated by a sharp purple point on the undersides of her arms.
A dark blueish gray metal collar wraps almost completely around the base of her neck, with an elegantly designed silver diamond holding a neon purple gem inside it sitting in between the edges of the collar right in front of the base of her neck. The edges were rimmed with thick gold and the metal collar extended outwards along the tops of her shoulders, ending several inches before the ends of her shoulders. Elegantly crafted diamond buckles with skulls carved onto their faces connected the front edges of the collar to silver metal straps that connected to dark gray metal plates that curved around her large breasts, leaving the top inner sides of them exposed while silver runs from the metal straps down the plates to form thin curling devil tails. The dark gray metal ran down to the top of her belly and wrapped around her back, where it ended a few inches away from her sides, with large chains attaching the ends of the metal to the back of the collar. Shiny elegant silver trim sits on the bottom edges of the metal right above her belly, and the gray metal connects in the middle right below the valley of her breasts in a large diamond with a jagged bottom that had a large dark amber thorn sitting in it that was pointing upwards.
A large dark bluish purple thong covers her crotch and wraps around her rather wide hips, with a large elegantly carved silver skull that looked somewhat canid in origin sitting in the very front surrounded by elegant jagged silver trim that made it look like it had short batlike wings. Two large silver diamonds with skulls carved into them sat on either side of the skull's trim, with very short silver chains connecting the bottoms of the diamonds to sharp metal diamond-shaped blades that were a few inches long. Two large plates of dark bluish gray metal sat on either side of her hips and extended down to the very tops of her thick thighs, with elegant jagged silver trim on them that gave them the appearance of being layered. A large amber thorn surrounded by silver trim in the shape of a diamond sat on the very top of the dark bluish gray metal that ran from the tops of her thighs down to her feet where they left each of her thick black-clawed three toes exposed as well as her heels. The tops of the metal plates ran diagonally down towards the insides of her legs, forming a V-shape when her legs were put together, with thick gold trim on the edges of the two layered plates that made up the very top of her leggings. Small silver diamonds ran around the silver trim at her knees, with a single large amber thorn on top of each knee that had the bottom half of a silver diamond below it. More purple markings matching the ones by her wrists sat on the fronts of her lower legs by her ankles, with another thorn sitting on the very top of her humanlike feet.
A large diamondlike dark bluish gray metal plate that had a semi-jagged bottom sat on the back of the thong and ran down to just past the very bottom of her rather large ass, with gold trim on it. two large silver diamonds with gold trim on them and silver skulls carved into them extended from the top of the plate on either side of her tail, stopping when they got just below the middle of her back. Her very long naked tail was shaped like that of a standard house cat, with the scales appearing about a foot before the end of it, which somewhat resembled the tip of a scorpion's tail. A small dark bluish gray metal plate sat right on top of the base of her tail, trimmed with gold and having a large amber thorn on it, while a set of silver chains connected to the metal plates right behind the thorns and to the metal plates on her hips.
Her head was somewhat large, and slightly triangular in shape, with her eyes glowing yellow with brighter yellow pupils. Her lips were large, luscious, and a dark purple color. Two absolutely massive horns that looked like those of a goat and were dark rusty orange in color sat on the sides of her head, going upwards for about a foot and a half before curving downwards and extending outwards almost horizontally right as they ended in nearly sharp points. The horns had tall ridges running down the center of them as well, while a pair of somewhat small silver blade-shaped earrings hung from the outer edges of the base of her horns. Finally, a large neon purple flame floated up behind her head and between her horns like hair floating in water.
'Who the heck is that?!' Gavin thought as he glanced behind himself at the lady as he continued to walk down the aisle. 'And what is she?! I've never seen a being like her before!' He continued, before the lady looked at him and winked, causing him to blush and turn away while he sped up a little.
'Ahhh, humans. What an interesting race,' The lady thought as she watched him walk away round the corner of the aisle, having not seen anything on his list in said aisle. 'That one looked rather cute. Maybe if Lucia lets me come here again, I'll have a piece,' She continued before she looked back at the shelf in front of her, which had several bottles of wine on it.
'Okay, that was a thing!' Gavin thought as he looked at his list. 'Let's see, I still have to get trash bags, black thread, brown sugar, candy, a bone, a yo-yo, and stickers,' he continued before he headed into the next aisle, which he found was full of sewing and office supplies. 'I should be able to find the black thread here,' He finished as he started to slowly walk down the aisle, looking at the various shelves as he went.
As he walked, he heard footsteps come from his right, and he glanced out of curiosity to see who had entered the aisle. To his surprise, a 4 foot 10 inch tall female anthro rabbit with short white fur on the visible parts of her body was walking towards him with a firm look on her face. She wore a purple strapless and sleeveless dress that covered the fronts of her large-looking breasts in the shape of a heart and hugged her body, with the large ballroom skirt reaching down to her ankles and hiding the lower half of her body. The edges of the vertically ribbed skirt had thick dark pink trim on it, and small gentle purple pumps sat on her rabbit feet. Gentle purple gloves sat on her small humanoid four-fingered hands, with the cuffs being a couple inches long and having V-shaped slits cut into the sides. Her large violet eyes had gentle purple eyeshadow on her upper eyelids, with mascara on her long eyelashes, and she had small blonde eyebrows that looked like tiny crescent moons. Long blonde hair sat on her head, with a thick strand running down over the right side of her head that ended right above her chin, while the rest of her hair was tied up in a very thick long braid that reached down to her ankles and had a spiky shiny gray metal ring serving as a hair tie at the very end of it. Her nose was white in color and sat on the end of a short snout, with her whiskers white as well and very short while her white ears hung down to her shoulders. Finally, completing her outfit was a very round and small dark purple hat that sat on the left side of her head on top of the base of her left ear, with a small dark purple bow on the edge of it.
'She looks like she's in a hurry,' he thought as she got closer and closer to him, letting him realize that she was mumbling to herself.
"Gotta get new thread thanks to fucking Spewart being the brainless idiot he is and using it all up in his art when I specifically told him not to!" The rabbit spat angrily with a high-pitched voice that sounded similar to a southern belle as she came to a stop next to him and started to grab various rolls of thread that she tossed into the basket she was holding. "Now I have to waste time getting more instead of working on that new pyro bomb for the wedding!" She continued, causing Gavin to arch an eyebrow with surprise before he turned to look for black thread.
'A "pyro bomb" for a wedding? How oddd,' he thought with intrigue. 'But I guess it'd be kinda cool for the end of the wedding. I mean, I'm sure some weddings use fireworks, and a pyro bomb could probably be considered one,' He continued as he spotted a 4 inch tall spool of black thread that was 3 inches wide and grabbed it before he walked past her, saying "Good luck on the wedding ma'am," as he did so.
"Thank you!" The rabbit replied happily while she looked at him walk away as she continued to take spool after spool, smiling for several seconds before she frowned and started to mutter to herself again.
"Okay, I just have a couple things left for Muriel, and everything left for Courage," he said quietly as he headed over to the next aisle across the store while looking at his list. "Next are trash bags. Hmmm, well they're not in this aisle," he muttered as he looked at the aisle he was in, before he headed on to the next one, where he saw a beautiful female wolf anthro.
She stood 6 feet 4 inches tall, had mostly white fur on the visible parts of her body, and was currently looking at a small sheet of light cream paper. Her snout was somewhat long and ended in a dark grey nose with short black whiskers on either side of it, while her lips were black in color. Her large eyes had long black lashes, bright red sclera, white irises, and black vertically oval pupils, with light gray eyeshadow surrounding them and black winged-eyeliner on her eyes. Sitting above her eyes were her thin black eyebrows, with the right one having a tiny black ring piercing in it. Light gray fur sat on the edges of the large tufts of fur on the edges of her cheeks and ran down the sides and back of her neck, ending at the tops of her shoulders in round edges. Her two ears stood straight up and were dark grey on the backs of them and white on the inside, with the left one having two small black hoop piercings in the left edge near the tip of it, while the right ear had a piece missing from its right edge. Long voluminous silver hair hung from her head, swept to the left so she could see, with some hair sticking forward and to the left of her eyes while the rest of it hung down to her wide-looking hips.
A large black choker sat around the base of her neck with short white metal spikes on it. A short sleeve, somewhat dark gray and semi-tattered off-the-shoulder crop top sat on her top, hugging her large chest tightly while the bottom of the shirt ended at the middle of her flat belly. Several dark gray spaghetti-straps ran around her neck and crisscrossed with each other to form an inverted pentagram as it attached to the top of the crop-top and held it in place. Her flat white belly had more light gray fur on the sides and back of it, and a large, dark gray bushy tail with white on the underside stuck out behind her large ass. Hugging said ass tightly was a pair of black shorts that were tattered at the edges, with the shorts ending at the tops of her thick thighs while a white crescent moon sat on the right side of the shorts. Fingerless black gloves that ended a few inches past her wrists sat on her four-fingered hands, which had short black claws on them. Black toeless stockings hugged her legs and feet, with them starting at the bottoms of her thighs and ending at her paws, which had sharp black claws sticking out the ends of them.
'Wow, she's pretty, just like every other woman I've run into today,' Gavin thought while an old woman with long gray hair and a black walker went by him into the aisle, a small white basket set on the front of said walker. 'I wonder how many other beautiful women live in Nowhere?' He questioned before he turned and looked at the garbage bags in front of him. "Okay, now where are those Armor Shield bags?" he muttered as he looked at the various brands, before he heard the wolf growl with frustration.
"Ugh! Where the fuck can I find fucking coffee in this place!?" The wolf growled in a slightly high-pitched voice that sounded rather irritated at the moment.
"Um, I can show you where it is," Gavin said as he turned to look at the wolfess, who whipped her head to look at him with annoyance while the old lady started to walk past her.
"Where?!" She asked him as she quickly walked over to him and grabbed him by the shirt, pulling him forward and pressing her snout against his nose. "And you better not be messing with me or else I'll rip your fucking face off!" She continued, letting him smell something sweet in her breath along with a tiny hint of sulfur from her body.
"Woah! There's no need to be so angry!" Gavin replied with surprise and a shake of his head before he turned his head. "Coffee is in that aisle," he continued as he pointed down at the aisle where he knew the coffee was. "I got my can of coffee from there."
The wolfess looked at the aisle he was pointing at for several seconds before she looked back at him with a glare. "You better be telling the truth you fat fuck! Otherwise you'll be dead!" She growled as she let go of him and stomped over to the aisle, while Gavin righted himself and smoothed out his shirt.
'I'm telling the truth, and I'm not fat!' He thought, feeling a bit confused. 'She's got a bit of a temper! I mean, it's just coffee!' he continued as he turned and looked back at the trash bags, shrugging as he did so. "I hope that if I run into her again, she's in a better mood," he muttered quietly before he spotted the trash bags he was looking for, and smiled as he took them from the second to highest shelf. "Alright then, that just leaves brown sugar for Muriel. And I know exactly where that is usually kept," he said with a smile before he headed out of the aisle and towards the deli, passing by a few more humans and anthros as he went.
The deli consisted of a large flat white and black marble countertop that sat on top of white wood, with large boxes connected to the front of it that were made of more marble. A couple of dark gray metal vents could be seen sitting in the front of some of the boxes, with the gentle sound of a fan running being heard. Light green plastic trays laid in the boxes, with various meats and cheeses. The left wall of the store was pulled in closer than the rest of the building, so it was only about ten feet to his left instead of at least twenty-five feet. The left wall had a large dark brown corkboard on it with a black and white sign of ribs on a plate covered in barbecue sauce taped to it. On top of the paper sign were the words "BBQ Ribs, ½ off" in white letters surrounded by black. A tiny mouse hole could be seen in the bottom of the wall, with several large sacks of rice stacked up to the right of it between the wall and the end of the counter, which had a cream white cash register on it. A light green meat scale with a large light green plate on the top of it sat a few feet away from the register, while a large set of white double doors with large round windows rimmed with black set in the wall behind the counter. Several meats hung from the ceiling on string, including hams, sausages, and fish, while a large whiteboard rimmed with dark brown wood sat on the wall behind the cash register. On it was written the words "Today's Special: Fresh Ham" in large black letters made from marker, while a large black clock with white numbers and hands sat on the wall next to the board, letting him know it was 9:35 AM. Right next to the other end of the counter was another set of swinging doors that were black in color and had long oval windows, with white signs on the doors that had red words on them that read "EMPLOYEES ONLY!"
Gavin smiled as he looked at the deli for a few seconds before he turned to the left to look at the sugar that was kept on the shelves there, only to see that another anthro was already there.
Said anthro was a 5 foot 4 ½ inch tall female newt whose visible parts of her body were light orange with lighter orange running from her chin all the way down to her shirt and along the entire visible underside of her long tail. Dark orange splotches covered the top of her tail all the way to the tip and a small amount of freckles sat on her cheeks and the rest of her face. Short, light brown, and somewhat messy hair sat on the top of her head and ran down to just past the base of her skull and right above her eyes. Her arms were slender and had four small and slender fingers on her somewhat small hands, with one of her fingers rubbing gently against her chin as she looked at the sugar with her large very pale green eyes that had short black eyelashes and black dots for pupils. A dark aqua green long sleeve shirt sat on her top, hugging her large-looking chest and hanging down to her narrow waist while the sleeves ended just past her elbows, with a golden bell on the front of the shirt that had rings around to show that it was ringing. A pair of dark aqua pants hung on her somewhat large-looking ass and ended right below her knees, with a large hole cut out of the back of it for her tail. The bit of her legs that he could see looked somewhat thin, and her somewhat small feet were V-shaped with round heels and two short toes on each of their fronts.
"Hmmm, should I get the brown or white sugar?" The newt asked herself with a young voice that sounded somewhat pessimistic, slightly nasal, and high-pitched. "Ohhh, why wasn't Mom more specific?" She continued with a groan of dismay.
"Um, why not get both?" Gavin replied as he came to a stop right next to her and grabbed a dark brown paper bag of brown sugar.
"What?" The newt said with confusion as she turned to look at him.
"Why not get one of each kind?" He suggested with a smile. "That way you have an extra of the one she didn't need," he continued.
"Huh, you know, that's not a bad idea," The newt replied after thinking for a few seconds. "Thank you. What's your name? Mine's Bella," She asked him as she grabbed a white bag of white sugar and a bag of brown sugar and set them in her basket, which made it heavier and caused her to grunt at the weight.
"I'm Gavin," he said with a smile as he held out a hand, prompting her to take it and shake it. 'Wow, she feels rather smooth and moist,' he thought with intrigue as they shook for a few seconds before they let go. "You from around here?" he asked with curiosity.
"No, I live far away from here," Bella replied with a smile, before chuckling as a sheepish look appeared on her face. "I just came here to get some sugar for my mom since all the stores back home are out right now," She continued.
"Oh wow! That sucks! But I'm glad you came here! I hope you enjoy your time in town!" Gavin said with a smile before he pulled out his list and marked off the items on it as he turned to head back to the front of the store.
"Thank you!" Bella replied happily as she watched him walk away before she looked at her list. "That was nice of him." 'Maybe this trip to town isn't such a bad thing after all,' she thought while Gavin hummed as he looked at his own list.
"Okay, I have just Courage's things left," he said as he continued to walk towards the front of the store. "I know they don't have a yo-yo here, and I haven't seen any stickers," he continued with a hum. "Hmmm, I'll ask the cashier and see if they have any ideas," he finished with a nod.
It took him about seven minutes to get to the front of the store, where he saw three black marble counters sitting on top of dark brown wood, with light creamish white cash registers that had black barcode scanners next to it set on the far ends of them. A black square sign with a white number "1" sat on a tall metal pole sitting right next to the cash register closest to the front doors, with a "2" and "3" on matching signs attached to similar poles by the other cash registers. A large dark gray metal basket held more Nowhere News newspapers in it with a yellow price tag hanging off the front edge.
Behind cash register 1 was a middle-aged, skinny, and 6 foot tall lightly tanned man with a bald head, a small mouth, a large chiseled chin, and large black eyes. He was wearing a white collared shirt with short sleeves that ended right below his shoulders, a pair of black pants with a black belt wrapped around his waist that had a worn brass buckle, black sneakers, and a black rectangular nametag with white blocky letters on it that formed the name "Bill." He was currently dealing with the kangaroo Gavin had encountered earlier.
Behind cash register 2 was a 5 foot 4 inch tall heavily tanned young woman with dark chocolate brown hair that was cut in a short bowl cut right above her small black eyes. Her body appeared to be somewhat chubby, with her clothes looking the exact same as the man's, except that her white shirt had long sleeves rolled up to her elbows and her nametag read "Betsy." A small toothpick stuck out of her mouth as she scanned a can of baked beans and set it to the side with other groceries she'd already scanned, while the customer she was dealing with stood there patiently.
Said customer was a 5 foot 8 inch tall female wolf with light chocolate brown fur covering the visible parts of her body. Pale brown fur covered her face almost completely, with a thin strip of light chocolate brown fur running from between her thin light brown eyebrows all the way down her long snout to the base of her large black nose, which had long white whiskers on either side of it. The pale brown fur made a circular shape on her face and around her large light yellow eyes, while light chocolate brown hair hung down to the bottom of her jaw and curled forward. Her ears were pointy and somewhat short as they stuck through her hair, with pale brown fur covering the insides while the outsides matched her hair.
A pale yellow maternity dress with very faded black puppy paw prints scattered all over it hung on her body, softly hugging the two large tits on her chest before ending right above her knees, with a somewhat light green ruffled skirt sticking out from underneath it that ended at the top of her calves. A short white collar connected to the dress and hugged the bottom of her neck, with a large oval red gem encased in bronze sitting in the front of it. The sleeves of her dress ended just past her elbows in large white cuffs, with her arms ending in four-fingered hands tipped with short sharp black claws. Her feet looked humanoid, with three canine toes on the ends of them that were also tipped with claws.
The lady manning cash register 3 looked almost exactly like the lady manning the second register, except she was about two inches taller. She also had her hair put up in a small bun, and a few light brown freckles sat on her cheeks. Standing by her was Janet Cougar, who smiled upon spotting Gavin walk over to the first register.
"This coupon is not expired, so there better not be any trouble," The kangaroo said with a frown as she handed Bill a piece of paper with red and blue shapes on it.
"Th-Th-There shouldn't be M-Miss K-Kangaroo," Bill stammered in response, his voice sounding rather nasal and somewhat deep as well as mature before he looked at said coupon. He then entered it in, causing the total amount Miss Kangaroo owed to appear on the tiny black screen the cash register had right above it. "Th-There you g-g-go. F-F-Forty d-dollars and f-fifty f-five cents is what y-y-you owe," he continued as he set the coupon to the side on top of some other coupons, prompting Miss Kangaroo to sigh angrily before she pulled out a circular dark purple fabric purse from her pouch.
"You thieves! All of this cost thirty dollars last week!" the kangaroo growled as she opened up the purse and pulled out a light purple rectangular wallet that she then opened before grabbing the proper change from it. "Scoundrels, all of you!" She stated firmly as she handed the change to Bill, who cowered where he stood as he put the change into the till and printed out her receipt.
"S-S-Sorry, i-i-it's not my fault!" He replied as he handed her the receipt, which she snatched from his hands before she pocketed it along with her purse and groceries.
"Humpf!" Miss Kangaroo frowned with a hum of annoyance before she turned and started to hop away with her head tilted backwards a little to make her snout point up more. "I'm sure it is," She stated as she left the store, causing Bill to groan while Gavin arched an eyebrow with confusion.
'What the heck?' he questioned as he stared at the doorway before he walked up to the counter and started taking things out of the basket. 'Why was she so mad about that? It's just ten bucks,' He continued while Bill straightened himself out and started to scan the items. 'I'd be upset if it was a twenty dollar difference, but it's just ten dollars. That's not a lot,' he finished as he set the last item on the countertop.
"Gavin, I hope you have a lovely day," Janet Cougar said as she walked by, catching his attention.
"I hope you have a wonderful day as well Miss Janet," He replied with a smile as he watched her walk to the front doors and leave, before he turned his attention back to Bill, who was just bagging the last item, having moved rather quickly.
"Y-Y-Your t-t-total is f-forty-five d-d-dollars and n-n-ninety s-six cents," Bill stated as he put the total on the screen, prompting Gavin to nod while he took out his wallet.
"Not bad," he said as he started counting out the proper change. "By the way, do you know where I can find a yo-yo and stickers? And candy?" he asked Bill, having not seen any really good candy during his walk through the store.
"W-W-Well, the p-p-post office has st-t-t-tickers. It's j-j-just down the st-street to th-the l-l-l-left at the f-f-f-f-first int-t-tersection," Bill replied as he watched Gavin count the change. "I th-think you can f-find a yo-yo at a toy store nearby, and th-th-there's a g-g-g-great candy st-t-tore near the outskirts of t-t-town," he continued before Gavin finished counting the change and handed it to him. "Thank you. Here's your receipt," he finished as he printed out said object and handed it to him.
"Thank you," Gavin replied before taking the receipt and putting it in one of the three white plastic bags along with his medicinem. He then started to walk away towards the door, only to bump into the wolfess. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that miss," He said apologetically as he looked at the female wolf, who checked her several bags carefully and quickly before she looked at him. "Are you okay?" He asked as their eyes met, before he arched an eyebrow as he saw a shocked look appear on her face. "Ummmm, are you okay?" he repeated as he looked at her, only to get no response.
"Ma'am?" He said with confusion and a bit of worry as he reached out and gently shook her shoulder with one hand. 'What the heck is going on?' he questioned as she continued to stare at him with very wide eyes for the next minute before she suddenly blinked and gasped. "Are you okay?" He asked her once more, causing her to open and close her mouth a few times before she turned and hurried to the doors like her ass was on fire, which confused him even more.
"What in the name of Kami was that all about?" Gavin questioned as he stared at the doors for a couple of minutes before heading over to them and going outside. "Why'd she act like that? Did I remind her of someone or something?" He continued as he looked around for the wolf, only to not see any sign of her on the street. "That was weird," he finished before he turned to the left and started to head towards the nearby intersection.
He reached the intersection in about ten minutes and turned to the left at it, before immediately spotting a small light blue wooden booth sitting on the sidewalk. Said booth had a large bright yellow wooden sign resting on dark gray metal poles attached to the far ends of it, with dark blue blocky letters on it that read "Jericho's Yo-Yo's!" while several yo-yos laid on the dark blue table in the booth. A somewhat short and rather chubby man with lightly tanned skin, long dark brown hair tied up in a ponytail, and small light green eyes set behind large black rectangular glasses sat behind the booth on a black stool. He wore a large dark blue hoodie with a black yo-yo on it along with a pair of black shorts.
"Oh good! I won't need to go to the toy store!" Gavin said as he walked to the booth, reaching it in a couple minutes.
"Ah, looking to buy a yo-yo?" The man asked with a somewhat low and chilled out voice, a smile on his face as he gestured to the several yo-yos on the table. "Take a look. I have quite a lot in stock," He continued, prompting Gavin to nod before he did just that, taking note of the prices as he did so.
'Hmmm, that one's too small,' He thought as he looked at a yo-yo as big as a quarter and moved on to the others. 'That one's too big, and that one's way too expensive,' he continued as he stared at a black yo-yo that was priced for $90.00 and the size of a magic 8-ball. 'Hmmmm, you know, that one doesn't look bad,' he finished as he looked at a light blue yo-yo that was the size of a billiard ball and had a bright red center in it, with a bright yellow metal ring attached to the end of the string, while the price below it read $20.00. "I'd like to get that one please," He said to the man as he pointed at the yo-yo before he pulled out his wallet.
"Ohhh, excellent choice!" The man replied with a grin as he looked at the yo-yo. "That'll be $20.00," He said, prompting Gavin to take out the proper bill and hand it to him. "Thank you," the man replied as he looked at the bill while Gavin picked up the yo-yo and put it in one of his bags before he marked it off on his list.
"You're welcome," Gavin replied before he turned and resumed heading down the street towards the post office, seeing its large sign in the distance. Said sign consisted of a large light bluish white envelope with a pair of white bird wings attached to the middle of it, with the words "Nowhere Post Office" right below it in dark blue blocky letters. "Huh, I didn't think it'd be that close," He said with a bit of surprise as he got closer to the building. "Figured it'd be a little farther away."
He soon reached the post office after another fifteen or so minutes of walking, and saw that the post office building was three stories tall and built with dark gray bricks separated with light gray grout. Large rectangular glass windows with light cream window shades hanging on the insides of them sat in the walls, with a couple pulled up to show off the lobby. A dark blue door with a shiny brass knob and the same sign on the top of it as the sign sitting by the street sat in the front of the building, facing the sidewalk, while a couple large dark blue garage doors sat in the far end of the wall facing the rather large parking lot next to it. A couple white mail vans were parked by the garage doors, while a rather wide black runway sat behind the building, with a rather tall air traffic control tower sticking out of the far end of the building as well. Finally, he saw a large orange windsock attached to a pole sitting at the visible end of the runway, while the roof of the building was dark blue, metal, and arched like that of a hanger, reaching up high enough to make another floor.
"Alright, let's hope they aren't out of stickers," he said before he cocked his head as he headed towards the front door. "Wait, will they have the kind I think Courage wants?" he asked with a bit of worry before he reached the door a couple minutes later and stepped inside.
When he did so, he found himself in a large and nearly empty lobby that had smooth dark gray tiles making up the floor and gentle white walls, with the high ceiling being painted a gentle sky-blue color. A tall white countertop sat about fifteen feet away from the front wall of the building, with three large dark blue computers and cash registers on them along with white scales, shiny brass service bells, and white ceramic pencil holders that were full of pens and pencils. Two large dark blue signs hung from the ceiling right above the cash registers with white lettering on it that showed the prices for letters, packages, stamps, stickers, and postcards of various sizes. Beyond the countertop he could see into a slightly large room that had big cubbies holding large dark blue plastic tubs as well as three doors in three of the walls that were light blue in color and a large light blue clock with white bird wings making up the hands that were showing that it was 10 o'clock in the morning. A hallway ran down the right of the building for about twenty feet and came to a dead end, with shiny brass square mailboxes set in the end of the hallway and the left wall of it, while the right wall had several photos and pictures of people hanging on it.
Standing in front of the left cash register was a 3 foot 5 inch tall young-looking female anthro dog who looked very similar to a Boston Terrier and was currently waiting impatiently as a stork employee typed on the register. She had black fur on the visible parts of her body, with a long white stripe running down the middle of her large forehead, around her small muzzle, and completely around her thick neck before it ran down towards her chest and covered the tops of her. Her eyes, which he saw look at him for a few seconds when he'd entered the lobby, were bulging ever so slightly and were a light blue color, with short black eyelashes around them. A small black nose sat on the end of her muzzle, while her large lips were black in color and her rather large ears were black in color with pale yellow insides. A light blue tank top hugged her large-looking chest and ended at the top of her belly, with the neckline of the top just low enough to show off a decent portion of the valley of her cleavage. A pair of black athletic pants started at her wide-looking hips and hugged her large-looking ass and thick thighs before ending at her ankles, with a very short black tail sticking out of a hole in the pants. White fur covered her small five-fingered pawlike hands that had black nails on the ends of them and it ended right before her elbows. She stood on the tips of her small four-toed paws that were tipped with short black claws and covered in white fur, with the white fur running up and ending at her ankles. She was chewing on something while her hands rested on her hips, one paw tapping the floor gently.
Turning away from the right cashier was a 4 foot 2 inch tall young-looking female anthro red fox with light reddish orange fur on the visible parts of her body. She had light cream fur on her face that started right below the top of her somewhat large black nose and encased the rest of her muzzle below it that ended halfway across her large cheeks. It continued down her thick neck in a somewhat narrow strip that ended at the top of her shirt's neckline located right below the base of her neck, and her cheeks had large tufts of fur extending backwards from them, with the ends of the tufts being a couple shades darker than the rest of her fur. A pair of thick black lips adorned her muzzle, with short black whiskers on either side of her somewhat short snout. Her eyes were large and light blue in color, with short lashes and thick eyebrows above them that were a few shades darker than her fur. Atop her head was dark red hair that was parted down the middle and ended just past her ears, with the parted hair made to look like small hills. The rest of her hair was tied up in a short braid that ended just before the base of her skull, with a pink bow sitting at the end of it to keep it together. Her rather large ears had cream white insides and dark reddish orange tips.
A pale blue button-up plaid short-sleeve shirt that ended right before her elbows and right at her waist could be seen, with the top few buttons undone to reveal a white short-sleeve undershirt. The shirts hugged her large-looking tits and chubby belly. Her four-fingered pawlike hands were a very dark reddish orange like the tips of her cheeks and ears and faded into the light reddish orange fur on her arms about halfway between her elbows and wrists. Starting from her wide-looking hips and hugged her large ass and thick thighs were a pair of dark blue jeans that ended at her ankles, revealing that she was standing on the tips of her three-toed paws, which had short light cream claws on the ends of them like her hands. Sticking out of a small hole in the rear of her pants was her somewhat long tail that became a dark reddish orange about halfway towards the tip of it. Finally, completing her look was a pale ink apron that had very dark and thick pink stripes with thinner stripes on either side of them running down it. The apron started just below the base of her neck and spread outwards as it went down to her knees, with a strap attached to the top that wrapped around her neck, while two more straps were tied around her sides and hips to help keep it in place as she moved.
She smiled at him as she walked by him, nodding to him and saying, "Have a good one young man," with a somewhat thick country accent in her high-pitched young-sounding voice before she opened the door and stepped out, prompting him to smile before he headed towards the middle of the counter.
Standing behind the middle of the counter was a 6 foot tall young-looking female anthro pelican with short white feathers on the visible parts of her curvy body, which he could only see down to the middle of her belly thanks to the countertop. Her wing-like arms and hands had dark plum tips on the feathers located on the bottom of her arms and on the long feathers on her hands, which looked like they had five fingers. Her large beak was a gentle orange color and had pale pink lipstick on the tip of it. She had large light brown eyes with thick black eyelashes, pale purple eyelids, and long pale lavender hair that ran down from the top of her head all the way down to right above the bottom of her large beak, with it turning dark plum in color about ¾ of the way down, while the bottom of her hair curved inwards. A long fringe of hair stuck out straight ahead above her forehead, colored like the rest of her hair and curving downwards and inwards as well, with a small strand poking out of its left side and curling inwards as well.
A pale pink collared short-sleeve shirt sat on her large-looking chest, hugging it and her flat-looking belly, with a dark orange ascot tied around her collar, which sat close to the base of her long neck. A deep violet captain's uniform sat on top of her shirt and went below the countertop, with two rows of shiny brass buttons sat on the front of the uniform, keeping it closed. The collar of the uniform had three large gold stars on each lapel, while the sleeves of the uniform ended halfway between her shoulders and elbows, with three thin gold lines wrapping around each end of the sleeves. Sitting on her shoulders were deep violet oval epaulettes trimmed with very thin pale pink trim around it that had gold fringes on the edges of them, while three gold lines that were bent like triangles sat inside each epaulette. They were aligned in such a way that they looked like trees that were pointing towards her neck, with gold dots on the other ends. Resting on top of her head was a deep violet captain's hat with a short shiny brass brim that had a thin shiny brass rope right on the front that was kept in place via two round brass buttons on the ends. Sitting near the top of the front of the hat was the same winged envelope that was on the sign outside.
"Welcome to Nowhere Post Office! There is nowhere on Earth we don't deliver!" The pelican said with a warm smile, her voice sounding somewhat high-pitched and motherly as well as very warm and welcoming. "I am Captain Beakman. How may I help you today young man?" She asked him as he reached the counter, while the black and white dog huffed as the male stork at the register printed out a receipt.
"Here you are ma'am," The stork said to the dog as he held the paper out to her, which she snatched with another huff.
"Ugh! Finally! You took fucking forever!" the dog growled with annoyance, her young voice having a bit of a Boston accent to it and sounding a bit gruff and rather high-pitched. She then turned and quickly walked to the front door, glancing at Gavin as she did so and smiling as she looked him up and down before she exited the post office.
"Hi, I heard you have stickers here," Gavin said as he looked at the pelican with a smile and thought 'Wow, she looks very lovely!' "I was wondering if I could buy some?" he continued.
"Of course!" Captain Beakman replied happily as she reached a hand down underneath the countertop and pulled out a small white box full of rolls of stickers. "Take a look and pick the ones you want," She continued as she gestured to the box with a large smile.
"Thank you miss," Gavin said with a nod before he started to look at the stickers. 'Hmmm, not that one, or that one,' he thought while the pelican looked at him with curiosity while the stork left through the door in the back of the room.
'He looks rather cute for a human,' Beakman thought as he picked up a roll of stickers shaped like sports balls and nodded, before he picked up another roll of stickers that had glittering stars and comets on them. 'I wonder who the lucky girl or guy is who's managed to land such a catch,' she continued with a growing smile.
"I'd like to get these two please," he said as he set the rolls in front of the box before he pulled out his wallet.
"Very good choices," Beakman replied happily as she put the box back under the counter and typed on the cash register for a few seconds. "That will be $13.42," She continued, prompting him to pull out the proper change and hand it to her. "Thank you. Would you like that in a bag?" She asked as she opened the register and put in the money before she printed out the receipt.
"No thank you Miss Beakman," Gavin said as he took the rolls of stickers and put them in one of his bags before he took the receipt from her. "Have a wonderful day!" he continued as he turned and headed towards the front door right as a few more people came into the lobby.
"Thank you. You have a wonderful day as well!" Captain Beakman called out as he reached the door and exited the building, before she turned her attention to the people in the lobby.
