Alright everyone, Enjoy.
Alt was standing unsurely within the lab on the Ajax, it wasn't something he did often, looking so unsure with the situation. The containment unit keeping their new resident contain was stationed with in the middle of his dad's lab. All the egg heads were walking around the room, no doubt trying to keep their excitement in check at finally having an alien that seemed to cooperate with them.
Not that they were taking any chances, the lab was packed a lot more then it usually was. Five ODST's spaced throughout the walls of the lab with their weapons ready, just in case. Though he doubted anything was going to happen, they didn't kidnap the alien but instead seemed to convince it that going with them would be the best choice moving forward. Though it seemed very calm about the situation, it wasn't showing any of the signs of panic or fear that it had before.
The alien just continued to float in the see-through container, it was looking around itself, seeing what everyone was doing it also seemed to know that they weren't going to hurt it. He didn't want to say it knew what they were doing but it would make sense.
Hearing the sound of the door opening, many heads turned to see Khane walking in with her back straight and hands behind her back. Two more guards behind her as she did so. The alien turned its head to look at her as she entered, she did a good job of keeping her composure in check as they made eye contact but she was the one to turn first. Moving over to stand next to Alt as they both looked at the alien who calmly stared back.
"So, this is our new resident?" she asked aloud as his dad's team continued to do their work "do we know anything?" the question was to him, that much was clear.
It was a fair question as well, he hasn't had time to write a report yet so as of the moment, no-one knows anything about the alien. It was expected that Khane would come in person and see for herself "Not much" Alt admitted as he started a small briefing based on the very little information he had "based on what we saw down there, I would say it was a slave" there was a very brief moment of stillness around the lab for a single moment before it went away "it was buried under the snow within the bridge, when it saw us it got scared, tried to run away like a toddler running from a bully. Had a large bomb strapped to its back, seemed to trust me after I helped get it off"
"mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" the alien said from within the containment unit. Everyone stopped for a moment as they all heard it, the ODST's hands gripped their weapons tighter but they didn't raise them yet.
"And that seems to be it's only form of communication" he added when the others went back to work.
"It wouldn't be a slave unless it had a purpose" Khane started as she took a couple of steps forward until she was right in front of the unit and the alien turned its fully attention to her. It's long head moving from side to side as it tried to observe her fully "is it physically strong?" she asked him, turning around to face him.
After a moment he shook his head "not really, not in anyway that would matter at least" he informed.
Khane looked at him for a moment longer before she turned away to look at the head of the lab "Steven's, what's the situation with are new possible friend?" she asked him moving back to stand next to Alt.
Alt's dad looked up from his computer screen for a moment and made eye contact with the ship's captain "It's difficult to say so soon but at the moment it seems that are guest isn't giving off any type of airborne disease that could affect us" he looked back down to the monitor "actually, to be completely truthful it's not giving off anything, not even an odour. Though that's just the tip of the iceberg here" he admitted with a sigh "based on the first round of scans, this thing doesn't even have organs. Don't ask, I have no idea how it works" he added quickly as he saw Khane open her mouth.
Seeing that she wouldn't get much from Allen just yet, Khane turned back to Atlas "so what do you plan to do with our guest?" she asked him.
He wasn't expecting to be put on the spot like that, he paused as he looked at her for a moment. Using his mind to come up with what the best plan going forward would be, looking over the captain's shoulder. His eyes met the black ones of the alien. He knew what he should have said, the protocol was clear enough. The mission at the start of it all was simple enough, take a prisoner alive for ONI to interrogate but now that he believes they have a guest instead, things changed.
It went without saying that Alt was still pissed at Parangosky about their last conversation and this would annoy her to no end. Which was a large plus "for now it stays here" the announcement caught most of the people present off guard "we'll continue to work as we have been before now but I want this lab to be used as a means of understanding are new friend here. If it was a slave, then I want to know why. If it was a prisoner, then I want to know who it pissed off. I'll write a full report to command and explain the situation"
The only sounds around the lab seemed to be the scientists that continued to type away onto their computers. Khane seemed to take his word and nodded before turning to leave "well, before we do anything else. We're going to need to find out what to call it" Steven's said, getting the attention of everyone else.
"Huragok" Alt said quickly, so quickly in fact that it surprised even herself.
"Hura... what" his dad said as he looked at him "why would you go with that?" he asked, completely ignoring how the alien seemed to perc up when that name was mentioned.
He didn't know why, not even the faintest idea. He thought that he should feel on edge with that, but in truth that was the weird thing, he didn't feel that at all. He just knew that was what it was called. Alt just gave him a small shrug "just a gut feeling" he added before he turned and made to leave.
The room was dimly lit, the low hue coming from the small lights that ran around the top of walls that connected them to the ceiling, the low hum of the ship's engines could be heard from every place within the ship, including the room. Though that didn't mean much to the room's occupants, as the sounds of their gentle grunting and moaning echoed louder than the engines.
The lights shined dimly onto their bodies. Sitting on top of the beds, the covers not covering an inch of their naked bodies. The strong muscular body of Atlas leaned against the headrest of the bed, his mouth parted as he tried to compose himself but failing to do so. His legs and arms were spread wide as he looked at the view in front of him.
The slender but toned body of Khane was only inches away from his own. She was slightly more elevated than himself due to a prominent factor, that being she was currently impaling herself on him. Riding him as waves of pleasure overcame both of them during the act. The captain of the ship rested both of her hands on his shoulders, her fingers going touching the base his neck. Her perky breasts bouncing and falling in front of his face, he found herself entranced by the view.
Alt found himself doing very little as the captain rode him, she seemed to like taking charge and he had no trouble letting her "ah...aahh...aaahhh" Khane moaned as she opened her eyes and starred into his own. He had to admit, there was something so hot about starring into her eyes as she made those noises.
While very much enjoying the act, Alt decided that he shouldn't just sit down and do nothing but watch. With a quick motion Alt jerked forward "AH" Khane both moaned and yelped as she fell onto her back, losing the train of pleasure she had as she rode his cock. Though before she could think that he wanted to take a turn on top, her hands landed on her sides and she was effortlessly moved so her head was facing the bed and her ass was in the air "oh fuck..." she moaned as she felt Alt penetrate her from behind.
"That's... better" he grunted out as Alt grabbed both of her hips and started to thrust into Khane, her decently sized breasts started to bounce forwards and backwards as she started to pick herself up. Standing on all fours while Alt fucked her like a dog.
"Yes... Yes... Harder... Harder" she cried to him, enjoying the change in position. Atlas was happy to oblige and started to use his power to go both faster and harder, though it took a lot of effort to not hurt her by mistake.
Feeling himself getting closer "come on, come on" she moaned "Nearly...AAAAHHHH!" she cried as her whole body spasmed slightly. He only gave her a moment to calm himself before he reached down and wrapped his arms around her waist, hoisting her up as her back was to his front. Khane's flowing hair mushed against his face as he kissed her neck, two hands going from her waist to her breasts. Pinching the nipple slightly as he did so, still thrusting into her but no longer holding himself back.
With some more primal grunts, he unleashed his load into her. Cumming right into her "aaaahhhhh" she moaned slightly, feeling him fill her. Staying like that for a moment longer, Alt let go of the captain.
Khane fell forward, catching herself on her arms before she could fall forward completely, taking deep breaths and trying to recover. Alt fell back against the headboard, while not tired due to his seemingly unlimited stamina, he did find himself quite drained, no pun intended. Sitting back, he looked at the firmly rounded rear of Khane as she slightly leaked his juices, her whole-body glistening of sweat. After watching her take a couple deeper breaths, she pulled herself backwards and sat back against the headboard next to him.
"You're getting better" she commented as their bodies were pushed against each other. It almost seemed that she was tempted to rest her head against his shoulder but stopped herself from doing so.
"Well, I've got a really good incentive to learn" he added back with a small shrug, his hand lifted up and resting on her leg.
She stretched her body slightly before turning to leave the bed "how did you know I'm on birth control?" she asked him as she stood and moved towards her desk. Alt enjoyed the view of her ass as she walked the couple of steps.
"There's no easy way to say this" he started earning a raised eyebrow from Khane as she logged into her terminal "I could smell the chemicals on you" he added.
"Gross" was all she said to that as she started to look over the latest reports from the ship departments.
"Believe me I know" Alt sighed as he sank down further onto the bed, his head nearly on the pillow "I do it almost passively at this point, it's not really a choice. Though you wouldn't need to worry about birth control. Not with me at least" he added.
"What do you mean?" she asked back with a glance over her shoulder towards him.
Glancing towards her himself, he started to explain "back when I was a teenager, I err... I beat it into a cup... a lot" seeing the smirk on her face at his language, he smiled dryly before continuing "I don't know everything that ONI did with it, probably a lot but they did tell me that I'm not compatible with humans, in any way, shape or form. So with me at the very least, no birth controls needed"
She let out a small hum as she thought about his words "that's good to know" there was comfortable silence that lasted a couple of minutes before she spoke again "get up" she ordered him quickly "priority message from Admiral Parangosky, highly classified information has been requested" she turned round and looked at him as Alt started to pick himself up off the bed "have you been slacking?" she asked him.
Alt didn't answer as he started to put his clothes back on "No, I just got distracted" he said walking over towards her and didn't stop until he stood right behind her chair "both with our new guest and... other things" he said before leaning down and placing a quick kiss on her lips. He pulled away and moved to leave the quarters.
Khane stayed silent for a moment as he left, surprised by the sudden action. She had no real problem with kissing, it would be weird if she did considering not even ten minutes ago, she was riding him like he owed her money. Yet during all of that, she never really felt anything emotional about any of it, it was just a means of relieving stress. While she could admit that she did enjoy their time together, she found herself surprised by how comforted she was by that one simple kiss. Pushing it to the back of her mind, for now at the very least, she returned to her work.
Alt let out a sigh as he leaned back against his chair, giving a final glance over his reports, two of them actually. The first was the most recent findings on their new resident and what he thinks they should do with it. The second being a list of everything he's going to need in a lab in order to complete his research into Anti-matter.
The first report was the simplest, going over the mission and what they had to do in order to bring the ship down. Why they had to make such a hasty retreat due to the enemy reinforcements. Then of course there was the Huragok, how they encountered it, how he dismantled the bomb and convinced it to come with him. He went into detail about what happened when they returned to the Ajax and how well behaved it was during the scanning process and up to this point. As well as his personal recommendations on what to do going forward.
The second report was the more interesting of the two and the most difficult to figure out as it required more work from his side of things. He knew very well that trying to figure out how to use Anti-matter as a PowerSource in a more commercial setting was going to be a monumental task that would take up a lot of his time, he does believe that he can do but at the same time he knew it would be hard and take some time as well.
Though there would be no hope of doing so if he didn't have the equipment he needed, or the personal. He was told before he had his little spat with the head of ONI oh what the plan is so far, about how the Ajax is about to be upgraded to a Marathon class cruiser that would be even more modified. It would have to be, Alt knew all too well that he couldn't be taken away from combat, he was too useful. So, he needed a ship he could do his research on while at the same time taking him to where he needed to go to fight.
Though going over everything he needed to in order to do this took more than he would have liked and in order to be done right and as soon as possible, this ship was going to be the most expensive ship in the UNSC navy. The Marathon class ships are already incredibly expensive but when you add in everything he's going to need. Not even just equipment but personnel as well. This ship is going to have a massive almost hanger like room in the middle of it based just under the primary power core.
He was going to need the space in order to build a prototype power core that runs on Anti-matter and then have it connect to the ship in order to test it. Then there was the personnel, he was going to need a small army of physicists and engineers. While he was going to be doing a lot of the work himself, he's going to need these people to continue his work when he's not there and he didn't know how long he could be away for. Some battles could take days to end after all.
Alt took at least a day to think of everything he could need to begin testing his theory and begin his research. After all, he's been toying with the idea of Anti-matter engines for a good couple of years now so he has a very good idea of what he is going for. Hitting send and hoped that it wouldn't take too long to get what he needed.
He said hoped but he knew full well how long it would take.
Once that was done he thought about what he was going to next for a couple of minutes. Though it would seem that he didn't need to worry about that, something to do would find him. There was a faint buzzing coming from his hip, reaching down and without looking he lifted his phone up to his ear "Yeah" he answered.
"Alt, I need you to get to the lab. I think our new guest is trying to tell us something" his dad said to him calmly and if he listened closely he could hear the sound of the Huragok in the background.
"Alright, I'll be there in five" was all he said before he stood up and made his way out of the deck.
His walk through the ship was short and there were not many interruptions on his way. The only thing of note was when he walked through the barracks and he could see many of the ODST's doing their own thing. The Barracks was a long hall like area that acted as a type of dormitory, the walls were full of bunkbeds and the spaces in-between them was full of a lot of different things, he could see chairs and tables, pull up bars, a basketball hoop, more games of cards then he would have thought. It was full of things that would help the soldiers kill time while not on duty.
Though he did notice that when he entered, despite the place being nearly full. A lot of the conversations died when he entered, not as much as it used too. People got used to him being here by now and it wasn't the first time he's walked through to get to his dad's lab, while of course this was a short cut as it would be terrible design for the only way to get into the lab to be to get through the barracks. But he was never one to waste time so he nearly always took the shorter route.
He walked through and quickly found Diggs get up from the game of cards he was playing and walk next to him "Sergeant" he greeted as many of the others returned to what he was doing.
"Sergeant" he greeted back, slowing his pace slightly "how you doing?" he asked.
"Good, I wanted to talk to you about what's coming next" he started, which earned a raised eyebrow.
"Next?" he asked back confused as to what he meant, Alt would have thought that Diggs would already know. He doesn't have the clearance to know about all the projects he was working on and it was the same for what he was trying to convince Hood and Parangosky, there was no way he could have known about any of them.
"I know that we're either waiting for the Atlas contingency to be called or someone comes to collect our new friend" he started to explain that they made it halfway through the barracks "but a lot of rumours have been going around recently, I'm not one to take much stock in them but when enough of my guys start to get nervous I need to ask. It's been going around that some Spartans are coming on board. Is that true?" he asked him.
Alt opened his mouth but shut it as a look of confusion came onto his face "It's the first I've heard of the Spartans coming on board" he admitted "though if a mission comes up that requires the best, then I would not turn them away" he spoke with a clam voice though he knew full well the effect he would have on those around them.
"And we're not the best?" a new voice called out to the two of them, stopping their walk, Alt turned to look at the sound the voice came from. He saw a group of four ODST's sitting on two beds, a small trunk in-between them that was being used as a table to play cards. Alt knew who the man was immediately, he was the one that was threatening the ONI scientists when they got the Artifact out and he unlocked his heat vision. Thomas stood up and looked at Alt, who had no trouble seeing the hostility in his eyes. The others that were around him seemed like they wanted to stop him but didn't, not knowing the best way how too.
"No, you're not" he said back without much tact, not really in the mood to deal with someone's ego.
He didn't know if it was either what Alt said or how confidently he said it but Thomas bristled at the words "after everything we've done" he slowly started to walk forward towards the two of them "we haven't earned the title of the best"
"No, you haven't" he said back just as quickly as before. This time he himself took a step forward towards the smaller man, though it was only by an inch "the Spartans are the most elite of the UNSC soldiery for a reason, their training, their mentality, their equipment is better" he stressed that last part "in case you missed it, we're at war with a very powerful enemy and that means if a mission comes up and the ODST's are not able to make sure it succeeds, I will do everything I can to make sure I get the support that's needed and I don't care to stroke your ego about it"
To the surprise of everyone present Thomas acts in instinct and swings his fist towards his face. Alt saw it comes of course and time slowed down for him as he saw it come closer and closer, he took a couple of moments to think about what to do next. On the one hand Thomas was about to strike his superior which given the current circumstances could result in a court-martial but at the same time as he looked at all the faces around him, he could see many of the others looking at him, what surprised was how many seemed to look like they agreed with Thomas.
Which made things ten times worse, the last thing he needed was the ODST's being insubordinate during their missions. He didn't know what to do for a moment, at least that was before he remembered where he was. This ship was the forefront of the war effort against the Covenant, they couldn't afford their own troops not following the chain of command. He expected those that followed his command to not let their own egos get in the way of their jobs.
Time returned to normal and Alt stood still as the first connected with his head, he was sure that if he was a normal human he would have felt it and it would have most likely hurt. But he wasn't human, was he? As the closed fist connected with his face, he could feel the skin and bone crush themselves against his own under the power that Thomas put into his swing. The brittle bones in his fingers splintered and broke free from the skin, sticking out in a lot of different directions.
"AAAAAHHHHH" Thomas screamed as he dropped to his knees clutching his mangled hand.
Alt knew he was incredibly charismatic, all those he trained with knew that it was one of his most impressive attributes, considering all of his other powers that was saying something. However, in the moment he wasn't in the mood for dealing with these guys in such a way, he could have given them a great speech about how they all needed to work together against the enemy. But he didn't want to, Alt couldn't be bothered to deal with damaged pride at the best of time, never mind when they try and hurt him for it.
As the others all looked at Thomas holding his ruined hand, trying not to cry out in pain. There was scuttling around them, and he could see many of the troops stand up and look at the scene. No doubt wanting a better idea of what do to next. Diggs let out a sigh and pinched his nose, looking not at all happy with what just happened.
Alt looked down at the injured man before reached down and gripping him by the back of the neck and hoisted him up into the air. Thomas let out a choked sound as he was lifted up, not really knowing whether he should cradle his broken hand or try and get some weight off of his neck by grabbing Alt's hand "you don't seem to understand something" Alt spoke in a loud voice "I don't give two shits about your feelings. See, I was told that those on this ship were going to be made aware before coming on board what would be asked of them" he looked away from Thomas and towards the crowd that was gathered around him "I was told that the ODST's here are veterans, that they know war and were not stupid enough to let something like ego and pride get in the way of the mission"
There was no mistaking the venom in his voice as he spoke, letting his emotions take over. Without him even realizing it, his slowly changed colour from blue to red "in case you guys forget, the mission is to save the human race from extinction. Get over yourselves" with that he turned to look at Diggs who was looking down at Thomas with a mix of anger and disappointment "get your guys in line, or I'll do it myself" with that said Alt turned and left the barracks, he didn't even leave before he heard Diggs shout at Thomas.
Ok all, encase this is the only the one of my stories you read. I've started a new writing strategy which is that I will do a shorter chapter every 5 days instead of 1 every 10. So far, it's working out well, which is why I'm going to continue with it.
Anyway, let me know what you think in the reviews down below.
Next Story update: Project Atlas.
