As I spoke, a rush of wind burst into the room. I stumbled back from the sheer force of it. As I bumped into the one called Ultraman's chest, I swiftly turned to see what had caused it but found a blurred yellow and red humanoid figure. Whatever had entered the room moved with the speed of Hermes and then some.

"Hmm," a voice hummed.

The yellow and red blur circled us, inching closer with every completed rotation.

"Jordan, she's thick… I like her…"

The voice seemingly was coming from the blur. I tried to focus on the quick figure. My eyes tracked its movements. Whoever he was, Ultraman seemed unfazed by his presence. A fact that gave me a little comfort. As if noticing my attempt to see him, the figure slowed himself just as he came into my line of sight. He smiled. His eyes were bloodshot but kind. He tipped his head in my direction and then returned to his faster pace.

"Stop hogging her, speed racer,"

Another voice said as a green light entered the swirl of yellow and red.

"Too slow, Jordan," the blurred figure replied. "I'm taking her to the boss's room…"

Laughter echoed around us.

"…. Hey! Speed racer…."

In a flash, I was quickly pulled away from Ultraman. The room about me merged into the hallway until everything blurred into one image- an image of red and yellow. The swiftness of the blurred figure pulling me caused my stomach to move into my throat.

"Don't throw up, Diana," I thought. "For the love of Gaia don't…."

I placed my hand over my mouth.

"Oh hell no, don't you dare…." the voice hissed as I suddenly stopped moving.

As the yellow and red blur stopped moving, the regular world shifted into place. I crumpled to the floor and felt the cool marble beneath the palms of my hands. Hot vomit poured out of my mouth in several hot streams. I watched horrified as the marble floor was stained in a fleshy pink ooze.

"Shit, Barry,"

I was bathed in a similar green light.

"You didn't need to move that fast with her… You're too fucking high to run with anyone."

I gasped for air in between the vomit coming up from my stomach. Breathless I looked through my tousled raven hair. There was a man in a green button-down shirt and another in a yellow one. They stood in front of a beautiful backdrop of the city. The man in green pointed down at the mess I'd made on the floor, while the man in yellow threw up his hands in frustration. He cursed under his breath.

"I was just following orders, you fucking green flashlight," the man in yellow hissed. "J'onzz said 'Big Blue wanted her upstairs in his room.' I assumed that meant he wanted her up here… like right now… I was helping Blue's dick out."

"For fucks sake, Barry, she is vomiting on the Italian-marbled floor," the man in green replied. "Do you think his dick wants to see vomit all over his floor or her?"

"I mean wasn't he about to fuck her over his dead wife's bloated body…." the man in yellow replied.

"That wasn't Lois, Barry."

The man in yellow rolled his eyes, "Damn it, I thought we were free from that bitch."

"Don't we all…"

"Welp, you better pray that this…" the man in yellow pointed to me. "... thing keeps big blue satisfied…"

The vomit welled up in my throat once more… What was this place? Who were these madmen? Even if Ultraman meant me no harm, I couldn't trust that the people around him would do the same. I needed to get out of this place. An Amazon belongs to no man. And I wasn't his to take…

"Out!" I heard his booming voice, the voice of Ultraman.

The ground beneath me shook as he spoke. I forced myself not to look into his face. I was so ashamed that I had soiled myself. What matter of warrior was I, to get sick in front of my enemy? My mother would be embarrassed of me.

"We were just…"

"Leaving…."

The sound of heavy footsteps scurried from whatever room I was in. I looked around for him but as I turned my head I threw up once more. Down on my hands and knees, I backed away from the vomit I released on the floor.

"Do you feel better…" I heard Ultraman's voice. "Superspeed can take some getting used to for the untrained."

Looking at the wall of windows, he floated a few feet above the floor.

"I'm sorry about the…."

Before I could finish my sentence, he was up in my face. He placed his hand underneath my chin. He forced our eyes to meet.

"The yellow fucker is high as a kite at the moment," he continued. "This is his mess, not yours…"

He tilted my head from side to side observing my every movement.

"Shit, contact high…."

"Come again?" I asked as I tried to remove his hand from my face.

He didn't budge. Cold eyes stared down at me.

"You've got a contact high," he answered. "… Take off your clothes."

My eyes grew wide at his words. I wrapped my arms around me, shielding my breast and lower half from his piercing gaze.

"No," I replied.

Ultraman forced a laugh as he released my face. There was hurt in his eyes as he stood to his full height.

"Fine, remain covered in vomit,"

He turned away from me…

"… the shower is over there if you change your mind…"

Slam…

Alone in the massive room of marble and glass, I sank back to the floor. My mind raced. Everyone here kept saying that he needed me for what my mother called, 'man's unholy desires', yet his actions said otherwise.

Mother told me of these things, men's desires, and the pain they caused. But he seemed different. He didn't enjoy Circe; it was a means to kill her. He could have taken what he wanted from me; my strength was no match for his. Why keep me here, if not to use me for his desires?

Ultraman's POV: Moments before

Barry's dumbass touched her. He grabbed her by her arm and pulled her away from me. At that moment, the moment his drugged hands touched her, I wanted to snap his neck.

"Mine,"

"He's just taking her to your room, Kal," I heard J'onzz's voice behind me. "Keep that erection over there in check."

I fought the urge to adjust myself as my pants had grown tight. What was that woman doing to me?

"At least I can get it up," I retorted with a smirk.

J'onzz stared at me for several moments before he let out a scoff.

"I know how to work with what I have," he said, his chest puffed. "My woman has never been left wanting either."

I laughed. He got me there. I'm sure I'd never given Lois pleasure. She didn't deserve it, at least, not from me. She was a necessary evil I was burdened with.

"That was uncalled for,"

"True," J'onzz replied.

His voice rang in my head.

"But someone has to keep you humble, my old friend…"

I cursed as I felt him in my head. It only really happens when I'm distracted. And the Amazonian woman was a major distraction. His wormy green mind was searching through my head. He was trying to discover my feelings about her. I wasn't one to show mercy.

"You like her,"

"Get out of my head, J'onzz," I said aloud.

As J'onzz probed further into my mind images flashed. It was the moment I first saw her. I was speaking with her mother on the far side of the island. Behind the other warriors at the tree line, I saw her walking side by side with another woman, a buff redhead. She looked so small next to the red woman.

Circe's words rang in my mind, "The queen's daughter was unbreakable."

It was impossible to think… someone I could be my full self with- no holds barred and no holding back. While the queen continued to drone on, I focused on the raven-haired woman's voice. It was husky yet soft.

"Come on, Alexa," the raven-haired woman said. "Something is happening, why else is everyone out here?"

"I told you it's a training exercise…" the red woman replied.

The raven-haired woman stepped in front of the red woman. They stopped.

"But I heard rumors that there was a man here," the raven-haired woman continued.

The larger red-haired woman rolled her eyes. "Men come and go from here all the time during breeding season…"

"But it's not right now…"

"Child…."

"I'm not a child, Alexa," the raven-haired woman replied.

"And yet you're acting like one now,"

"I want to see him," the raven-haired woman added.

The red-haired woman took a deep breath.

"If there was a man here, and I'm not saying there is one, your mother wouldn't allow you to see him anyway."

"Please…."

The raven-haired woman looked up at the red woman pleading. The red woman took several steps to the side and walked around the raven-haired woman. As she continued on her way she said.

"He's alright … if you find men appealing,"

The raven-hair woman smiled.

Rage filled me. That memory was mine alone. I grabbed the closest object to me, Circe's lifeless body, and hurled it into the wall. He dodged the body as it hit the wall behind him and shattered into pieces.

"Don't do that again," I growled.

My crimson eye flared up as I spoke to him.

"My thoughts are my own, you will do well to remember that."

J'onzz nodded, "She reminds you of your younger self, the one that wasn't protected…"

I ignored his statement. I was Ultraman. I wasn't capable of emotions, especially ones of love and compassion. J'onzz sighed after a few moments of silence between us.

"She might try to kill you again, Kal," he said.

Turning towards the door, I began to float into the air.

"I'd like to see her try," I replied.

"And what if she doesn't try?" J'onzz asked. "You've planned for her betrayal, but what if she doesn't?"

I paused for a moment. What if she didn't? What would I do if she became content staying here with me? Would she, could she learn to care about me…

"Everyone does, J'onzz," I replied.

I shook the thought from my mind as I shifted my attention to the golden rope in J'onzz's hand.

"Have Bruce look into 'that' when he gets back. I might have use of it later."

In a flash, I was gone. I needed to get away from his endless questions. I knew he meant well by his words, but I couldn't allow myself to show weakness, not even in front of him.

Zooming through my headquarters, I exited the building and flew up to the penthouse. Flying high into the sky I saw her as I reached my room. She was on her knees throwing up on my floor.

"Damnit Barry," I hissed.

Lowering myself onto the balcony I bellowed.

"Out!"

The floor beneath my feet vibrated as I spoke. Barry and Jordan's heads both snapped over in my direction. They both took several steps back away from her. She looked so fragile on the floor. What had those idiots done to her?

"We were just…"

"Leaving…."

They said as they both backed out of my room. Leaving us alone. She kept her eyes on the floor.

"Do you feel better…" I asked as I opened the balcony doors. "Superspeed can take some getting used to for the untrained."

Entering the room, I floated to her side before touching the ground.

"I'm sorry about the…." She said.

I cut her off as I placed my hand underneath my chin, forcing our eyes to meet.

"The yellow fucker is high as a kite at the moment," I continued. "This is his mess, not yours…"

I tilted her head from side to side observing her every movement. Her eyes were dilated and her reaction time was slowed. Barry did hard shit, but I'd never seen a reaction like this.

"Shit, contact high…."

"Come again?" she asked.

She tried to swipe my hand away but moved slower than before. I swatted her hand away and stared into her eyes. Dried chunks of pink ooze marred her beautiful face.

"You've got a contact high," I answered.

She needed a hot shower and rest to help her come down from her drugged state.

"… Take off your clothes."

Her eyes grew wide at my words. She wrapped her arms around herself, shielding her breast and lower half from me.

"No," she blurted.

She thought I was about to… Shit… I forced a laugh as I released her face and stood to my full height.

"If I am to be the monster…" I thought, "… then I might as well play the part,"

I towered over her.

"Fine, remain covered in vomit,"

I turned away from her…

"I'm the monster," I repeated to myself.

I pointed to my bathroom on the far side of my room.

"… the shower is over there if you change your mind…"

Slam…

I pulled the door to my room shut and left.
