The last Daniel Janus Fenton remembered was how million volts of electricity ended his life in the most painful manner. The next thing he knew was he was standing in front of massive golden gates, surrounded by the brightest sky and clouds.
Then he noted a thin, but tall blonde man, wide blue eyes and a sad but hopeful smile standing at a podium a the gates. 'He must know.' popped into Danny's mind.
He walked to him and asked, "Excuse me, sir? What is this place? Where am I?"
The man sighed sadly and then explained, "You died, so now you're at the Pearly Gates. It is a shame when young souls die so soon, but if you landed here, you at least have a spot in Paradise."
Danny looked to the ground, shocked about what he just heard. He died. His life is over. "Paradise? So this is Heaven?" If he sees this despite being an atheist, looks like God is real. "But I am an atheist. Wait, does that mean you're Saint Peter?"
"The one and only. Yes, this is Heaven." he confirmed.
Heaven is real. So he will reunite with them. He doubts Sam, Tucker and Jazz won't go to hell... and his parents. Knowing that they will meet again, he relaxes. Saint Peter then asked for his name.
"Daniel Janus Fenton." he answered.
Saint Peter looked though his massive book, turning pages in search of Daniel's name. "I... can't find you." he said distressed. "Which means you aren't supposed to be dead, yet."
Then again, most minors aren't meant to die. Yet here he was.
"What now?" As Danny asked that, his body rippled, like a glitch in Tucker's games. Saint Peter closed his book and looked scared. Danny figured the glitching wasn't supposed to happen either.
"You know what, I call the head Seraphim. This-I have no idea how to handle this." decided Saint Peter. "Please wait here, Daniel."
So he waited. He looked away from the gates were Saint Peter flew and just reflected. If heaven is real, he has to wonder if ghosts are real as well. Did he and Jazz joke about their parent's profession for nothing? He has to apologize – he and Jazz weren't really secretive about their dislike – to them when they reunite. That is if they get into heaven.
While he does not think of them as bad people, he won't be surprised if disturbing the rest of the dead is considered to be sinful. For all he cares, creating a portal to the Ghost Zone could be considered as disturbing the peace of the dead.
But if he is here, doesn't that imply ghosts don't exist? Or did they try to break a portal to heaven? Maybe hell?
Danny was ripped out of his thoughts when he heard wings flap in the air. Turning around, he saw the gates opening and three angels flying out. One was Saint Peter, one was a tall dark skinned lady with three pairs of wings and the last a young woman with loose flowing hair.
"This is the boy, Miss Sera." said Peter, looking to Sera. Danny assumed she was the head Seraphim. "He glitches, Sera! There was never a case like this before!"
That got them worried. Sera said, "Peter, go back to your spot. Daniel, I am Sera, the head Seraphim and this is Emily. Please follow us. Emily, help him flying."
Emily approached him and took his hand. As she pulled him up, he felt something on his back. Taking a look behind, he saw pale blue – nearly white – wings on his back. They flapped automatically and he was in the air. As he realized that, the wings lost their rhythm and he lost control.
"Daniel, don't think about it, flying should be second nature." told him Emily. "At least it should come naturally to you."
Danny focused – instead of the fact he has wings – onto Emily and then Heaven. So far, he only saw the gates. The architecture of heaven is weird. And very shiny. The later isn't really a surprise, though, having seen the Pearly Gate.
They reached a tall building, over-viewing a good part of Heaven. They came into a room that seemed to be an office. Looks like some things don't change in the afterlife. There, Sera took a very close and thorough look of Danny, especially when he glitched.
This prompted her to ask, "Daniel, may I ask, how did you pass?"
"Sera! You can't just ask that!" chimed Emily in, sounding very offended.
'So asking about ones death is a social no-go.' noted Danny mentally, watching the Seraphim talk.
"I know, Emily. But we need to knew what is going on with Daniel." reasoned Sera. She turned back to Daniel. "And when did you pass away?"
"I... my parents build a portal to the ghost zone, at least they tried to. It failed and I tried to figure out why. They were so depressed about it." recalled Danny. "I died on the tenth September 2004, around four p.m I think?"
Hearing that, the two Seraphim peaked up. Emily muttered, "That wasn't even an hour ago..." She looked to Sera with a questioning look, then back to Danny. "Do you remember something between your-your death and appearing at the gates?"
"No? Should I?" he answered with his own question.
"Not necessarily. Daniel, you said your parents attempted to access the ghost zone... well, ghosts are real. Not everyone becomes a ghost. People who aren't worthy of heaven nor hell land there as a second chance at heaven." explained Sera. "Children are always send there, as most are neutral due to their age, even if they would have earned hell. But you skipped the Infinite Realms. Not unheard off... but you aren't in Saint Peter's book either. And the glitching..."
"Sera?" asked Emily.
"I... think you're half dead. you would have been half ghost, but due to the rule, your ghost half was made an angel." she said sadly. "But that also means you are half alive, I need to send you back to Earth."
"You can do that?" asked Emily.
"I don't know, I have never met someone only half dead!" answered Sera, clearly overwhelmed. "I would need to take your angel half, but it feels wrong. You earned the right to be an angel. I-I need to discuss his with the arch angels and elders! The youngest Judgment! Emily, would you mind keeping Daniel company?"
"Of course not, Sera!" answered Emily. "I show Daniel my favorite spots here in Heaven!"
"So that." agreed Sera as she vanished into a corridor.
After a while Sera called them back. Danny found her accompanied by two other figures. A female angel of thin build, gray clothes and a black halo – so cool, not going to lie - and a later thicker angel with horns and an inhuman face.
"So, this is the guy who failed to die?" asked the angel with the black halo.
"No need to be insulting, Lute. He gave Peter a scare, that deserves respect!" said the male angel.
Danny saw Sera rolling her eyes. "Daniel, these two are Lute and Adam. They were about to leave."
"No, we weren't." said Adam, correcting her.
"Adam like the first man?" asked Daniel.
"Yup! That one!" he confirmed. "Now. Sera and the others made a decision regarding you."
"And that is?" he asked nervously.
"Well, you can't stay here as you are alive, but you are an angel. You will continue being half dead, as you will be half an angel." revealed Sera. "You will walk earth and be able to switch between a human form and your angelic form. We will sometimes call you ti heaven. Daniel, sometimes you will need to fulfill tasks for us."
"And I may have already an idea what that may be." chimed Adam in.
"Well, this will render you a Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid." informed him Sera. "In that regard, I will now send you back. Please don't abuse your powers. Don't get me wrong, I won't demand that you become a Christ, but Heaven has expectations on you, Daniel. Oh, and no time will have passed when you return on earth. Please try to keep this a secret, Daniel."
"Of course." agreed Daniel. Then he was engulfed in light and he was gone.
"Now that this is over... we need to talk about... the thing." said Adam to Sera.
"Wait, about what expectations are you talking about?" asked Emily. "Is Danny in trouble?"
Sera was surprised at the nickname – then again this is Emily – so she answered her, "Well... I was informed by the Observants – ghostly servants of the All Mighty - that the boy is needed to avoid a worst case time line. This is the expectation."
"So he had no choice in the deal." realized Emily. "Well, when will he return?"
"Pretty soon, probably." guessed Adam.
Danny smelt burning cables as he returned to Earth, to the portal. He stumbled out and crashed on the floor – on his wings, he realized – then he saw Sam and Tucker. 'That much about keeping this a secret.' he thought. 'I am sorry, Sera.'
"Are-Are you an angel?"
'Looks like I gave Sam a religious crisis.' He then said, "Be more shocked about the fact that I am half dead." With that, he switched back to his human form. "On that note, I may be called to Heaven at times."
"I am sorry, dude, but I struggle to believe there isn't a spot in hell for you."
"Tucker!" yelled Sam.
'Normally I hate when we argue, but I am so glad to hear them argue.' he thought, 'Waiting their lives out in Heaven would be maddening.'
"What now?" asked Tucker carefully. "Now that you're, well, you know..."
In that moment, a ghost came out of the portal. As if it was an instinct, Danny attacked the Ghost with an Angelic blast. As the green blob slammed onto the ground, he weaved a golden rope of Angelic power and captured the Ghost, sending it back into the zone. "Guarding Amity Park, I suppose."
"So, you are a guardian angel? Fine. This is fine."
"Sam?"
"This is fine!"
Months had passed since the incident. He continued to fight the ghosts that pass though the portal, albeit quite a lot return as soon as they see him. Well, his alter ego. Apparently ghosts are afraid of angels. One ghostie, a tiny little blob called Skulker even told him, "Only demons are worse! Damn sadists!"
Danny established himself as Dante, the Guardian Angel of Amity Park. He, of course, visited Heaven a few times, even outside his odd jobs. After he met Vlad Plasmius, a half ghost, Danny was confused. Why was that guy not in hell? No way Vlad lands in Heaven. He should not judge, but even a blind person can tell there is a spot for him in Purgatory.
So he visited Sera shortly after and asked her, "Why is Vlad Masters only a half ghost?"
Her anticlimactic answer was, "Oh, Masters isn't actually half dead. He just got ghost powers. He emulates a ghost, if anything." She then added, "I doubt he is aware."
"That explains some things." muttered Danny.
"Well, now that this is discussed. Daniel, it is good that you're here." she said. "There is something we need to talk about."
"Oh, about what?" he asked.
"You remember Adam, right? He said he may have a job for you. Well..."
Then, said angel appeared and told Danny something quite surprising. "Kid, the following is somewhat classified, so listen well. Once a year, we send a type of angels into hell – exterminators – to hell to purge that place." revealed Adam way too excited for Danny's liking. "Hell's got an overpopulation issue."
"We watched you defend your town from the ghosts, so we considered if you should join the exterminators once a year." added Sera. "You are very able."
"And we need help. These pieces of shit figured out how to kill my exterminators." said Adam. "So I want you to join. You have experience beating asses. I mean, we won't drop you in blindly. My second in command Lute will train you before your first purge."
The thought of being a final death made him uncomfortable, but Danny had a hunch he had no actual choice in this. He could choose to become full human again, but Amity depends on him. "When do we start?" Well, he could die full, too. But he doesn't want to just yet. Danny doesn't want to throw away his remaining time on earth.
"Ah, I like your drive!"
Sera sighed at Adam's outburst. "Well, there are some areas off limits. As well as hell-born demons..."
A few months later, he joined the exterminators into hell, specifically into the Pride ring. Pentagram City.
Hell's not creative. He already saw the hotel Sera told him about. Run by the princess of hell, it is meant to redeem Sinners so that they can go into heaven. An alternative to the killing. Danny learned fast not to say anything positive about this, at least not around the exterminators.
He flew high in the sky, scanning the area before he spotted a frog like demon running into an ally. He dropped from the sky like a hawk after its prey before he opened his wings to glide. Daniel threw his spear and pierced the frog. Dark red splashes, Sinner's blood, sprayed from the body. Landing, he took his spear back. Danny was disgusted by the blood and looked away from the sinner he just ended.
Lute landed close by. "Good job on your first kill. I was worried you would be a pussy and chicken out. After all, you could just turn into a Winner and enjoy eternity." she praised him and at the same time insulted him, criticizing his choice. "But please refrain from anything that may leave you defenseless."
"Understood, Lute." he answered her. "Not letting go of the spear, then."
"Good, you learn fast." she said. As she flew away, she commanded, "Continue!"
He took back to the air, but stayed somewhat close to the ground. Danny flew though the urban area – a surprise considering how heaven looks like and what he expected of hell - and looked for his next target. He remembered what Lute said, but also what had happened right after he returned after he became a Nephilim. The angelic rope.
Danny summoned a rope and connected it to the spear. Now he won't loose it as easily.
He was rather close to the hotel when he saw a nearby building exploding. One of his 'honorary sisters' decided to change tactics, it seems. Part of the skyscraper dropped onto him and he fell onto he ground. His spear dropped a good bit away, but he found it again, thanks to the rope.
He followed the golden threat behind a fall. As he was about to pick it up, he saw a blonde woman – pretty darn tall, but not Sera levels of tall – who was about to pick it up as well. "Hey! Don't touch my spear!" he shouted, scaring her off. "Can't have stress with Lute on my first day."
She – white skin, yellow eyes with red pupils – stepped back and answered, "First day? Wait, you're a guy!"
"And?" He was more confused about her eyes. Her eyes are not of Sinners. "Your eyes, are you a native of hell?" Albeit he does feel an angelic aura around her. A disturbed aura, but still.
"I thought all exterminators are female... and yes, I am a hell-born." she answered. "After all, I am the princess of hell."
"Oh! In that case, I better leave. You're off limits, princess." he said. "Good luck with your hotel, I hope it works out."
Now she was the confused one. "Wait, you think my idea is good?"
"Well, it is better than this killing." he answered. "Man, I am not a good exterminator... seriously, I should leave. Sorry, but I need to do my job, I have no choice."
He flew away, leaving her wondering about the exterminator who dislikes his job. And is a dude.
"Vaggie! You said all exterminators are female!"
He may or may not have caught the attention of a cult, but who cares about the Cult of the blue feather? No one in Amity does. Well, they chilled out – some members even lost interest – after he revealed himself to be a Nephilim.
That incident was a dumpster fire. But it was still nothing compared to the Australian Bush Fire that was the aftermath of the C.A.T. Somehow this test revealed a time paradox. That timeline would have happened if he had become a half ghost like he was supposed to, according to a bunch of eye balls calling themselves the Observants. Despite him becoming a Nephilim., he still had the displeasure to met Dark Dan, his theoretical future self.
He also discovered why ghosts are afraid of angels and demons. Ghosts are nothing against angelic and demonic energy. No wonder he was told to hold back when fighting ghosts.
The second this issue was fixed – thank Clockwork – he was called to heaven. In front of the youngest judgment. The first thing Danny noted was Sera's fury, her eyes were furious, her additional eyes were out and her wings spread to look intimidating. Emily, on the other hand looked afraid and worried.
"Daniel Janus Fenton, due to the events that have been unfolded, your existent as a winner and exterminator had been revoked!" yelled Sera. "You will fall to Hell. As we can't kill your human half, you may make the best of your remaining time."
Daniel was shocked. More when he saw his alter ego. of a timeline if he was a half ghost and not a Nephilim. "This is unfair..."
"This isn't fair!" yelled Emily, storming in from the hallway. "Dark Dan is from an impossible time line! It makes no sense to punish our Danny!" Danny felt relieved, seeing that Emily was standing up to her, but is she enough? "Even Clockwork said-"
"Clockwork is a mere ghost! A direct servant to the Almighty, but still only a ghost." countered Sera. "No ghost's words over ride an angel's judgment."
"Sera!" cried Emily. "Danny helped beating Dark Dan! Doesn't that mean anything? And-And his duty?"
Danny had no idea what 'duty' referred to. Sure wasn't the exterminations, considering he joined those later. Guarding Amity wasn't it either.
"He did fulfill his duty and fought Dark Phantom." admitted Sera, hr flames subduing, some eyes retreating and her wings lowering. She became more composed. "But he still..." Sera did not finish her sentence. "Fine. He will get a lesser punishment."
So, something he did already. What did he do that could be demanded by Heaven? Stopping Freakshow? Fighting Pariah Dark? Beating Dark Phantom sure isn't it, it seems.
Emily sighed disappointed, so Danny told her, "Don't be disappointed, you did help, Em." He then asked Sera, "What is my punishment?"
"You will be banned from Heaven, you will still be a fallen angel. However you get to keep your wings." she explained her judgment. "You must go to hell once a year and suffer though the extermination. If you miss Extermination, your life will be cut short and you will become a full Sinner."
"Enjoy your time on earth!" said Adam way too excited for Danny's liking. "See ya in hell!"
"I'm gonna kill you!" added Lute, also too happy about this. "Even with wings, your toast, kid!"
"Sera, what is extermination?" asked Emily. Danny was quite surprised she doesn't know.
"Now, you may want to familiarize yourself with hell before the next extermination begins." was the last Sera said, before leaving. "Emily, guide him to the gate."
On the way, Emily was the one more saddened by this. In-between she had her bouts of anger. "She can' do this! Phantom isn't you! You're an angel! Not a ghost! He does not belong to our timeline. He isn't you..."
Danny wanted to tell her he had a feeling Heaven had some flaws – just look at Adam and Lute – but he kept his mouth shut.
"I don't think this punishment is much weaker." said Emily disappointed. "Sure, you keep your wings... but you're still screwed. I should have done more."
"You did enough. I don't want you to ruin your reputation and standing for me." he reassured her. "And to be honest, I am happy not to be an exterminator anymore."
"What is Extermination? Sera said I don't have to know." asked Emily.
"Exterminators, lead by Adam and Lute, purge Hell one a year. We-they kill sinners to counter overpopulation down there." he explained, seeing color leaving Emily as she realized. "It is as terrible as it sounds. I never wanted to but I didn't really have a choice here in Heaven. One that isn't dying."
"Sera... killing human souls... you..."
"I will be okay. After all, I know how they fight." said Danny. "I should be able to counter them. Not to mention, I am a fallen angel now, not a sinner. Still a Nephilim."
"But the other sinners..."
"Emily, here is something Sera probably doesn't want you to know. The Princess of Hell runs a hotel to redeem Sinners, to get them into Heaven. Maybe..."
"You could prove yourself that way!" realized Emily.
Danny shook his head. "I meant the Sinners. I doubt I can considering... I think Sera, Adam and some others are really against me. Well, I suppose this is a good bye now. Stay vigilant, Em. Keep Sera on her toes for me, will you?"
"Of course!" She then hugged Danny who returned it. After they let go, Danny jumped off the edge and flew to Hell.
As he arrived there, at first it was weird to be in Hell when there isn't an Extermination going on. As he flew in one spot, observing Pentagram City, he noted his wings changed. Like Sera said, Hell influences the looks of fallen angels. His wings are gray and he has a hunch they will continue to change color. His hair was now black, too. Like in life. 'Mm, this will make my secret identity difficult to hide. Unless I start wearing hoods or something.'
His wings started to hurt, to he looked for a place to land. He ended up close to the hotel run by the princess as it was on a hill, rather high and easy to reach from the sky. Danny took a step into it's direction. 'Maybe I can be redeemed? Give Em's theory a try?' He hesitated. 'I am not a sinner. I'm a Nephilim. A fallen one, but still.'
Then again, would they bother with an Exorcist? Would Charlotte dare to have a Sinner's true death in her hotel? It is supposed to be a save space after all.
"Hey! You!" yelled a voice. It was Vaggie, the fallen angel he met. She pointed a spear at him – an older model of the Exterminator's spear – she then dropped it, her eyes wide. She was eyeing him.
"Hello, fellow fallen angel." he greeted her. Remember me?"
"Wait, are you the kid... fuck, you're the exorcist kid Charlie told me about!" she yelled. This must be Vaggie. "Come with me, kid."
"Why?" he asked very confused.
"Simple. Get you sorted out and I want to know how you're an Exorcist. You aren't a born Exterminator. Adam only makes females." answered Vaggie. "You look more like a Winner. Especially from how Charlie described you."
"Well, I am not a born Exterminator, I was a Winner, kinda-hey!" Vaggie grabbed him and dragged him to the hotel.
"Save your words for Charlie, kid."
Danny not only met the princess of hell but also the employees and one patron of the hotel.
Charlie herself was fucking tall. If it wasn't for her very nice personality, he would have been scared. Her father on the other hand – sin of pride, king of hell, Lucifer and a fellow fallen angel - was scary, despite his short statue.
Someone who was tall and scary was the Radio Demon, Alastor. An Overlord and it was clear as crystal that Alastor and Lucifer hate each other.
The last tall person was Angel Dust. A porn star, spider-like and a pig enthusiast. Dude has a pet pig called Fat Nugget.
"The heck is an angel doing here?" asked Angel. "A kid at that?"
"He was a winner and he fell." said Vaggie. "I suppose if Winners can fall, Sinners can rise."
"Vaggie, are you sure this is the boy I met?" asked Charlie, taking a close look at Charlie. "He looks different."
"Charlie, falling changes ones look." explained her father. "I can't believe a kid can fall... or that you're an exterminator."
"Well, was." said Danny, trying to keep his nerves in check.
On the other side of the height spectrum was Niffty. A very short woman, one eye, clean freak and-"Oh! A bad boy!"
"Oh no! Not the kid, Niffty!" scolded her the cat-like sinner, grabbing her and pulling her away from Danny.
"Niffty, I think you should refrain from starting anything with the child." said Alastor, surprising the other demons, seeing their varying reactions of surprise and disbelief.
Then there was Husk, a feline alcoholic who apparently keeps Niffty in check.
Last but not least is Sir Pentious, a snake-like sinner who is very eager to be redeemed. He asked, carefully not to offend anyone, "Child, I am sorry to ask, but how did you... well..."
"Die?"
"No, fall..." corrected Sir Pentious.
"Pentious, let the boy introduce himself before he tells us that." demanded Lucifer. "Your name, son?"
"Daniel Janus Fenton." he said. "As for I died, that one is a bit complicated."
"How can a child die in a complicated manner?" inquired Alastor. Danny was only now noting the radio effect on his voice.
"Well, the complicated part is that I am only half dead." stated Danny. Every demon and angel shut up. "Let me show you..." White rings appeared around him and he turned human. "See, I can switch. I-I am a Nephilim., actually."
"A Nephilim.! Like my Charlie!" said Lucifer impressed. "May I ask, how did you fell? That Nephilim. fell never-wait, you said you were a Winner, well, Vaggie did."
"I died only half. My parents are scientists, they build a portal to the ghost zone. I had an accident and only died half. My dead half instantly arrived in Heaven. I did odd jobs for Heaven until I was asked to become an Exterminator." explained Daniel. "So yeah, I wasn't born a Nephilim."
"I don't know if you're lucky or unlucky." said Angel. "Half dead sounds pretty weird."
"Believe me, it is. But hey, I can switch. And outside of the Exterminations I don't have to be here in Hell. I just want to familiarize with Hell to prepare for those." he explained, "Part of my punishment is to suffer though them like a sinner."
"Punishment? What did you do, Daniel?" asked Vaggie.
"I... it is weird and also complicated. Remember that my parents build a portal to the ghost zone? Well, due to this, ghosts regularly appear in my town. I am a Guardian Angel for my home-mind you, I do not destroy ghosts-well, one of them was – and I know it sounds crazy – the future me of a timeline were I was half a ghost."
"Did Clockwork tell you that?" asked Lucifer, surprising Danny he knows the time master.
"Yes." he confirmed. "Well, after I defeated this 'Dark Phantom', with Clocky's guidance in fact, I was in front of the youngest judgment. and cast to Hell."
"Ya know what, maybe Heaven isn't that great if they let you fall for something you hadn't done!" chimed Angel in, offended for what had happened to Danny. Sir Pentious agreed.
"Are we going to ignore that there are timelines?" asked Husk only to be ignored.
"Oh, a real bad boy! He is fair game, right?" wondered Niffty.
"Seriously, you want to fuck a ghost?" asked Lucifer, nearly offended. "Little weirdo."
"Eh, I used to be a ghost for a few weeks." countered Niffty.
"I struggle to believe that you were neutral at some point." said Angel.
"What exactly is your punishment, Daniel?" asked Charlie. "I want to help you, but I need to know what I am working with."
"Well, besides that I am banned from Heaven, I'll be a sinner when I die fully – assuming I am not immortal – I have to be in Hell for the Extermination." explained Daniel. "Alternatively I could choose to die fully and be a sinner. Even though Sera said they couldn't kill my human half... Princess Charlotte-" "Call me Charlie." "-Charlie, like Angel said, just maybe Heaven isn't worth it."
Charlie sighed. "Even then, do you want to die in an Extermination?"
"No. I don't want to give this satisfaction to Adam and Lute." answered Daniel. 'Why do I have the feeling I can't reject her help?'
"Well then, let me show you your room here at the hotel!" decided Charlie. "For the times you're not on earth or, well, if you become a sinner..."
After hours – which were just mere minutes on Earth – he returned in his room, where his friends and Jazz had been waiting for him.
"Why were you summoned? Isn't this Extermination thingy for a few months?" asked Jazz worried.
Danny sighed. "Due to the thing with Dan, I-I have been kicked out of Heaven. I am a fallen angel now. I still have to leave for Extermination day, though... but now as a target."
"This is terrible!" said Sam. "And makes no sense! Dan isn't you!"
"Well, Heaven is filled with quite a few bird brains, so..." said Danny to his friends. "Also, I... in Hell, there is this hotel trying to redeem sinners..." 'If I am no Winner anymore, I see no reason to keep to Sera's rules.' He wasn't supposed to talk about Heaven and Hell to mortals, but fuck Sera, Adam, Lute and their demands.
"So... what now?" asked Tucker.
"Well, amity needs to learn their Guardian Angel got replaced by the Fallen Angel Dante." said Danny, "And I need a hood. My hair is black in both forms now."
"So an upgrade." joked Sam. "Lemme see your demon form."
"Not demon, still a Nephilim."
