Violet walked into Stella's office and saw her lying back in her desk chair with her eyes closed. "Are you okay?"

Stella's eyes snapped open, and she sat up straight. "Yeah."

"Are you sure? You seemed a little off today and in the last few shift too."

"I'm not feeling well; I know there's a stomach bug going around."

"Yeah, I heard that too." Violet studied her for a moment. "What's your symptom?"

"Normal stuff: I'm light-headed, I'm nauseous, a headache, and I feel like I've been hit by a train. I'm so tired that I can't get enough sleep."

"That sounds more than just a stomach bug."

"I'm hoping it's not the flu; I don't want the kids to catch it."

"Maybe you should get checked."

"I will if my symptoms don't get better in a couple of days." She sighed. "Anyways, what's up?"

"Well, I came to check on my favorite lieutenant." Stella rolled her eyes. "And to tell you, I love my new partner. She's no Brett, but she's freaking awesome."

Stella smiles. "Well, that's good. She seems like she knows her stuff."

"She does, and the recommendations that Chief and I read were pretty awesome. I think she will be a great fit for 51."

"Good, we need to get to know her better. We can invited her to Molly's tomorrow night."

"I did, but she has some family stuff going on." Violet sat down. "Don't say anything, because Tia is very private about her personal life, but her mom is in the hospital; she has cancer; apparently she is in the last stage of her life."

"Oh my, that poor girl."

"Yeah, so she spends her days off and any free time at the hospital with her mom."

"It makes sense; maybe we can do something for her to let her know that her new 51 family is here for her."

"Yeah, we should definitely do that." Violet agreed. "So when does Severide get to come back? The house just ain't the same without him."

"Oh, I know. I hate being here without him. The last three weeks off have been driving him insane. I mean, I'm kind of jealous he gets to spend time with the kids." She smiled. "He goes to the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully they clear him for duty." She leaned forward. "Now you can't tell anyone this, but I've been wanting to tell someone-only Herrmann and I know-and it's killing me to keep it from Kelly. Cause I'm not good at keeping secrets."

"What?"

"Boden is promoting Kelly to captain his first active shift back."

"That's amazing. Wow, so much is going on at 51. It makes me excited. Kelly is getting promoted, and Cruz is taking the lieutenant test on Friday. Gallo made squad; my new partner is freaking awesome, and you're pregnant."

Stella sipped out her water. "I am not pregnant!"

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not."

"Stella, you have all the symptoms, and you look pale. Trust me, you're pregnant."

"Violet I've been pregnant before; I would know the symptoms, plus I know my body; trust me, I am not pregnant."

"Fine, I won't say another word about it...

"Lieutenant." Mouch said as he approached the doorway of Stella's office. "Sorry to interrupt."

"You are not interrupting anything; what's up, Mouch?"

"Well, Trudy was hoping to have a minute of your time if you can spare it."

Stella gave Mouch a confused look. "Sure, I always have time for Trudy."

"Thanks babe." Trudy said, walking into Stella's office. Giving Violet a look.

"I will go flirt with Carver for a bit." Violet said, noticing the look from Trudy.

"Stella, how's it rolling?" She asked as she sat down in the chair that Violet was sitting in.

"It's rolling." She gave Trudy an odd look, curious about what her visit was really about.

"I'm just going to get to the reason I'm here: I hate small talk. I am a straight-to the point kind of woman."

"I know you are."

"Good, now I don't normally get into people's personal business unless it involves me or someone I love. But I wanted to talk to you about something I know you don't want to talk about, but I'm asking you to let me say what I have to say before you interrupt me and tell me to mind my business. Which is totally understandable."

"I can do that." She leans back in her chair, more curious than ever.

"Stella, I don't know a damn thing about your past, and it's not my business. Everyone has something they don't like to talk about; we all have our own skeletons in our closet. There are things people don't know about me, even my sweet husband. Maybe one day I will tell him, or I won't. I don't know; to me, it's not important; he knows what he needs to know. And you probably feel the same way about certain things. Especially regarding your past. "

Stella inhaled sharply; she knew this conversation had something to do with her mom or Bo, maybe even both of them. "Trudy I...

"No, I asked you to let me talk first." Trudy said, interrupting her protest. "So please let me finish. Yes, to answer your question, I am here to talk to you about your mom."

Stella shakes her head but doesn't say anything; she figured there was no use arguing with Trudy.

Trudy used her silence as a cue to continue on. "I don't know your mom; I don't know what she was like before getting locked up; I read her file; I know what she's been through; and I know she has lung cancer, which has spread to her bones."

Stella's eyes widen. She knew her mom said she was dying, but she didn't know about the cancer or what kind it was.

"They gave her a time frame of six to seven months, but from the recent scan, it looks like the cancer is about eighty percent of her body now. As you probably know, cancer that has spread to the bones can't be cured. Treatments can help reduce pain and other symptoms of bone metastases. She is taking the medications and trying to hold on. I rarely connect with inmates, but for an unexplainable reason that I still baffle myself with, your mom and I connected along with officer Jenkins, one of my officers; they have become really close friends. Officer Jenkins has been with your mom during her whole diagnosis; she's there now at the hospital; she spends all her free time with her."

Stella sighed loudly. "I don't know what you want me to say or what you think I should do. She told me the last time I saw her that she was dying, but I can't fake empathy. I have nothing for her, and if that makes me sound like a heartless bitch, so be it. That's my truth."

Trudy nods. "Understandable. Like I said, I have no clue whatsoever about your relationship with her, and it's not my business. Officer Jenkins wanted to come talk to you, in hopes that you would come see your mom and allow her to meet her grandkids."

"No!" She tells her flat out. "Please tell your officer Jenkins that I appreciate what she is doing for my mom, but she doesn't deserve a goodbye from me or to meet my kids. I'm sorry, nothing is going to change my mind."

Trudy nods again. "Again, I understand." She stands up. "Sometimes, for a person to truly let go of the past, they have to forgive the people that hurt them. So they can really move on."

"I moved on years ago. There's no love lost there; she doesn't deserve forgiveness. Trudy, you have no idea what she put me through; she did things that are unforgivable."

"I get that, but sometimes forgiving someone isn't just for the person who wronged you; forgiveness could set you free too." Trudy said this before walking out of the office.

Stella followed after her. "I am free; I'm not haunted by what she did to me. My past is in the past for a reason. It doesn't keep me up at night anymore. I've moved on, and completely let go of it."

"If you were so free, you wouldn't get so upset or emotional when your mom is mentioned. You're holding on to a lot of anger; even if you don't realize it, it's there. And maybe you should tell her how you feel. I can guarantee you will

regret letting her die without getting everything off your chest. But that's just my opinion." She walked away leaving Stella standing there ponding.

The next morning, after shift was over, Stella pulled into her driveway, turned the engine off, and sat there deep in thought. The conversation she had with Trudy was on her mind heavily; she didn't sleep last night, she couldn't turn her mind off. Memories of what she went through, what her mom and Bo said or did to her, kept running through her mind like an old TV show rerun. Does she really have so much anger buildup that she needs to get it off her chest, like Trudy said? She buried everything so deep inside that she forgot it was there until Kim and Adam showed up at her door a few months ago.

She took a deep breath and checked her face in the mirror. Kelly knew her too well. He could tell when something was wrong or if she was weighed down by something. Her eyes were red, and they were burning a little, but she could always tell him it was a busy night. And she didn't sleep much. She took another deep breath before getting out of the car. She grabbed her gear bag. And walked up the driveway, as she stepped on the porch, the door opened.

"Are you okay?" Kelly asked, standing in the doorway.

"Yeah." She lied.

"Your lying." He pulls her to him. "What's wrong?"

She wants to vent to him about what she's feeling, but she doesn't want to do it yet. "Give me a few hours or so, and I'll tell you. Right now, I just want to kiss my husband and hug my babies." She kisses him to silence any more questions.

"Mommy." Shay yelled as she pushed her way out the door. Grabbing Stella's leg.

"Hey baby." Stella dropped her gear bag and picked her daughter up. "Mommy missed you." She tells the wildly curly-haired girl as she kisses her forehead. "Was you good for Daddy?" The little girl nods her head aggressively.

Kelly picked up Stella's bag, and the three of them walked inside. As soon as they enter the kitchen. "Mommmmy!" Benny yelled.

"There's, my baby boy." She said as she slowly bent down with Shay in her arms. Benny ran to her, hugging her tightly. She kissed his cheek. "Mommy missed you too."

Kelly went over to the table to clean up the Cheerios that Benny knocked over. "I'm going to jump in the shower; my appointment is at nine thirty."

"Okay babe." She tells him as she places both kids back on the floor. A wave of nauseous hits her as she stands back up. "What's that smell?" She asked as she cringed.

Kelly gave her a confused look. "Coffee."

"It's really strong." She walks over to the coffee pot and pours herself a cup.

Kelly watches as she takes a sip. "That is really strong. How much did you put in there?" She cringes.

"The normal teaspoons I normally use."

"It's probably just me; I've been feeling a little off the last few days or so. I think I need a good long nap. I'm so exhausted." She said as she dumps the coffee out.

Kelly touched her forehead. "Well, no fever, that's good." He kissed her forehead. "When I get back, we'll take a good nap together. The four of us."

"Sounds good." He kisses her softly before heading upstairs.

Later that afternoon, Kelly walked into the house and was met with silence. He looked around downstairs, then headed upstairs. He looked in Shay's room, but it was empty, as was Benny's. He walked to his room and opened the door. A huge grin appeared on his face. Stella was sleeping in the middle of the bed, with Benny on the left side snuggling up to her and Shay on the right cuddling her.

He took a picture before walking over to his bed. His eyes noticed a photo album; he picked it up and opened it. "Wow!" He whispers. He immediately knew who the girl was; Shay was a picture of her mom. He had seen pictures before, but it still surprises him how much Shay looks like Stella. He flipped through the album smiling, and wondering why she got it out again.

"Hey!" She whispered as her eyes adjusted to just waking up. "What did the doctor say?"

"I'm cleared for duty." He replied happily.

"That's great. I miss seeing you around the firehouse."

He winked at her. "I can't get over how much Shay looks like you." He says this as he flips through the pages.

"Wait till you meet Tia."

"Tia?"

"The new paramedic I was telling you about-she's been with us since Boden fired Michelle."

"Oh yeah, I remember you saying something about her."

"According to Mouch and Herrmann, Cruz Tony, and Capp, hell, all of them really. They swear Tia is my sister, that we were separated at birth." She laughs.

Kelly raised his eyebrow. "Really?" He thought back to the girl and baby he saved in the fire who reminded him of Stella.

"They say we look identical; Mouch is convinced that we're sisters; the rest say cousin or distant relative."

"What do you think?"

"I don't know; I mean, she's pretty and smart, very good character; she has black hair that's wavy, not curly like mine; it's short; just blow her ears. She does have some incredible, beautiful brown eyes." She jokes.

"There are no brown eyes in the world that compare to the beauty yours holds."

"Anyway." She blushes. "She's skinny like me, a little shorter than me. Younger than me. She knows her stuff; I'll give her that. And she seems really cool and down for anything. I like her; she has some personal stuff going on. But who isn't dealing with something personal nowadays?"

"Did she come from a house around Chicago?"

Stella moved slightly so she could sit up. "She moved here from New York."

"Oh." Kelly put the album down to help her get off the bed without waking the kids up.

"Her mom has cancer and is in the last stage of life, according to Violet."

"Wow!" He wrapped his arms around her waist. "I can't wait to meet her."

"She's no Brett." Stella tells him sadly.

"I know." He kissed her forehead. "I think we are due for a little vacation the four of us; we could go see Brett and Casey."

"I would love that." She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I figured you would."

She laid her head on his shoulder and yawned. "I don't know why I'm so tired lately."

He kisses the side of her head. "I've noticed you've been taking a lot more catnaps and getting nausea a lot."

She pulled back, giving him a serious look. "I'm not pregnant."

"I didn't say you were."

"Violet thinks I am, but she's wrong. I'm just a little under the weather, not pregnant."

"Okay." He rubs her back smoothly. "So you want to tell me what had you so preoccupied this morning that you sat in the driveway for a good ten minutes before coming inside?"

She exhaled sharply. She then walked them over to the chair in their corner of the room, where he sat and she sat on his lap. "Trudy stopped by the firehouse last night, wanting to talk to me about her." She rolled her eyes.

"Her?" He was confused by her response.

"My mom." She whispered. She didn't look at him; she just kept tracing her finger around his chest.

"What did Trudy say?" he asked, now the album being out makes sense.

"She has lung cancer that spread to her bones, and there's nothing the doctors can do." She looks up at Kelly. "She's dying sooner than she expected. Maybe weeks or so."

"She wants to see you before she dies."

"She wants me to forgive her and meet our kids." She looks over at their sleeping kids. "I don't think she deserves to meet them or forgiveness."

Kelly doesn't say anything; he just rubs her back. He knows she's not asking for advice; she just wants to vent.

"I told you that I used to be their drug carrier and about being locked in my room every time they had their druggie party."

"You did."

A big sigh slipped from her lips. "I saw so much in my young life-things that took me forever to process and move on. My fifteenth birthday was a good day that turned into a nightmare."

"What happened?" He asked as he kissed her shoulder.

"Five days before I turned fifteen, my mom started to act normal again, like she cared about me again. I was very suspicious; most of the time she would be gone for weeks at a time, and when she was home, she never talked to me or cared where I was. Then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, she starts treating me like she loves me. She took me shopping for clothes, shoes, and jewelry. The clothes were a little bit too revealing and tight, but it was just nice to get something new and to hear my mom say I looked beautiful. I was curious where she was getting all this money. Just a week ago, we were barely making it, and the landlord was demanding his rent money. We were two months behind. And I remember him threatening her with eviction. And she was crying and begging him to give her more time; she told him she had a plan in the works, and she would pay him rent plus a little extra." Kelly watched as she closed her eyes. "If only I knew at the time what she was planning." She stood up and walked to the window. "I have a lot of respect for Trudy, but I think she's wrong; some people don't deserve forgiveness, even if they change and are on their deathbed. Why would I give her the satisfaction of saying I forgive you when I don't?"

Kelly stood up. "Trudy is a very wise woman."

"I didn't say she wasn't; she is a very wise woman. The wisest woman I know. I just don't agree with her on how she views forgiveness."

Kelly wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. "What exactly did Trudy say about forgiveness?"

"She said that sometimes forgiving someone isn't just for the person who wronged you; forgiveness could set you free too."

"I agree with Trudy."

She turned around in his arms. "Seriously?"

Kelly shrugged. "She makes a valid point, Stella. Forgive her not because she deserves forgiveness, but because you deserve peace."

"Kelly, I'm at peace."

"No, you are not." The seriousness in his tone had her raising an eyebrow at him.

"You've buried what happened to you and everything you've been through so deep inside and never talked to anyone about it, which and a way you thought it meant you were over it, and you believed that it gave you peace."

"I am at peace; I am...

"If you were at peace and you didn't care at all, You wouldn't have had such a strong reaction when Kim and Adam first showed up at the house. You wouldn't have had trouble sleeping; you are in denial. You believe that as long as you buried it and never talked about it, it didn't happen."

She inhaled, holding her breath for a minute, and then exhaled. "I did bury it; I had to bury it. If I hadn't it would have corrupted me," she said, closing her eyes as her tears fell. "She's the reason I turned to drugs; the drugs helped the pain." She opened her eyes. "The one good thing Grant ever did for me was get me into rehab, and thankfully somebody in there believed in me enough to reach out to me, so that when I decided to bury my past and pretend I have no family, if I hadn't done that, I wouldn't be the woman I am today."

Kelly wiped her tears away. "I am very thankful Grant got you into rehab and helped you, and someone cared enough to reach out to you. I understand why you buried everything; I do. But, babe, I think it's time to allow everything to come to the surface. Go and see your mom and tell her how you feel, and forgive her so that you can truly be free of your past, but don't do it for me, don't do it for our kids, do it for you."

"If I decide to, ummm..." She looks at his chest. "If I decide to go see her...

"Yes!" He answered before she finished her sentence. He already knew what she was going to ask. "I will be right beside you."

She smiled. "Good, I can conquer anything with you beside me."

"Vice versa, babe." He kisses her softly.

"Do you think we should let her meet the kids?"

He strokes her hair. "I think that's a decision you need to make."

"We should make it together; they are our children."

"Yes, but she's your mom. And I can't make a logical decision. But I will support whatever you decide."

She glances at their sleeping kids. "I don't know."

He kisses her forehead. "Well, on the plus side, they are still young, the chances of them remembering her are slim."

"True." She looks at him. "I just want to clear my head for a minute and not think about my mom."

"Well," he said, moving her hair away from her neck. "I've been cleared for all physical activities." He kisses her neck.

"Really?" She grins as he continues to kiss her neck. They haven't been intimate since his incident. And God did she miss his lips on her. "As much as I need to feel you right now, we can't." She whines.

"We can.." He whispered as he kissed her jaw. "We can be very quiet and...

"Hi!" The little voice silences Kelly.

Stella laughed as Kelly groaned. "Look, who's a wake." She watches as Benny climbs off the bed and runs to her.

Kelly pulls away just in time for his son to wrap his arms around his mom's leg. Stella picks him up. "Did you have a good nap?" She asked as she kissed his cheek.

Benny nods. "Juice."

"You want some juice." Kelly asked him. As he tickles him. "You want Daddy to get you some juice.

"Me." Shay's little voice breaks through their conversations.

Kelly smiles and walks over to the bed. "Daddy's princess wants juice."

"Yep." She replied as Kelly picked her up. He kisses her cheek. "Well, let's get you two some juice."

Stella smiled. "Rain check."

"Absolutely." He winks at her before they turn to go downstairs.

Meanwhile, Violet walks through the hospital looking for room number three twenty-one. She decided to take Stella's advice and let Tia know she could count on her, and 51, she brought Tia some sushi and some flowers for her mom. As she approaches the room, she looks in and sees Tia sitting beside the bed of an older woman who looks similar to Tia, wearing a pink bandana and looking really fragile and tried. She was getting ready to knock when she noticed little girl, probably about three or so. And then she notices another person, a male with black hair, sitting on the opposite side of Tia's mom's bed, holding her hand. He looked like Tia too.

"So, are you sure no one at your firehouse knows?" The man said looking at Tia.

Violet's backed up a bit as she listens in to their conversation.

"No, I haven't told anyone anything." Tia said as she braided the little girl's hair sitting on her lap. "I like it there; the people are nice, and Stella is pretty cool."

"If she's so cool, why don't you tell her the real reason you transferred to Chicago-to her firehouse?"

"Because she doesn't want to upset Stella, and she wants to get a feel for the firehouse and its people, and this is a great way for her to get to know Stella." Sierra looked at Tia. "Have you met your niece and nephew yet?"

Violet's eyes widened in confusion. "Niece and nephew." She whispered.

"No." Tia told her mom. "I've only been there four shifts, and Stella's husband is out on medical leave, so he must be at home with the kids. I do hear her talk a lot about them to the other members of the house. She is a proud mom and wife. She looks really happy."

"She doesn't deserve to be happy." The unknown man said.

"Timothy, don't be like that; Stella did nothing wrong."

"She abandoned you, mom, and me." He said bitterly.

"She didn't know you existed, so don't blame her for that." Sierra told him. "Timothy, I wanted my children to get to know each other. I want to die knowing you three are getting along. I want you three to be apart of each other lives. I want my grandkids to grow up together."

"Stella is really cool, and she's so sweet and respectful. I want to tell her I'm her sister, and that I'm the woman her husband saved that night he got hurt, but I just can't. I get so tongue tied."

"Who cares? I am so over hearing about the hero that saved you."

"He saved your son too, or did you forget?" Tia said, giving her brother a heated glare.

"No, I didn't forget." He tossed his head back. "I just think this whole thing is pointless. Stella made her choice years ago, she wanted nothing to do with us, and you guys really think she is going to show up here and want to play nice and just be like yay; I got a family now. " He laughed. "That will not happen, she's not going to give a damn about any of us."

"I'm praying she does, and officer Jenkins said her boss was going to have a chat with Stella, so I'm hopeful she got through to her." Sierra told him.

"Why? All so you can ask her for forgiveness and meet your grandkids. My son and I are fine without meeting Stella or her kids."

"Then go back to Philly; I want to get to know my sister, my niece, and my nephew, along with my brother-in-law, who saved my life. If you're going to be a bitter jackass and make things awkward for Stella, you should leave now."

"I'm here for mom, not that Stella bitch."

"Timothy, you need to let go of your anger; life is too short to be angry all the time." Sierra sighed.

Violet was completely surprised and a little overwhelmed by what she just heard. But she knew she needed to stay calm. "Knock, knock." She said as she stood in the doorway.

"Violet? What are you doing here?" Tia asked surprisedly.

"I wanted to stop by and drop off some flowers for your mom and to check on you. I told you, you are a part of 51 now, your family."

Sierra smiled. "Thank you, Violet, for the flowers. My daughter talks about you all the time; you impress her so much."

"She's very impressive herself."

"This is Timothy, Tia's twin brother."

Timothy stood up. "Are you a paramedic?"

"Yes."

"I think my heart needs checked."

"Are you having chest pains?" Violet asked.

"My heart literally stopped when your sexy ass walked in the room." He said with a flicker of a smirk.

"Knock it off." Tia told him. "She has a boyfriend, who's a way better catch than you."

"I doubt that."

Violet wasn't sure what to say, the Timothy dude was eyeing her like she was a piece of chocolate he desperately wanted to eat.

"Her boyfriend is a hot firefighter, and your broke ass doesn't even have a real job, cause selling drugs in Philadelphia doesn't count."

"Tia Renee." Sierra exclaimed. "Excuse my kids, Violet; they apparently lost their minds." She glared between the two.

"It's fine; I just wanted to stop by and check on Tia. I should get going."

"Please stay." Tia begged. "This is my Minnie, my daughter I told you about."

Violet smiled at the shy black haired girl who had Stella's facial structure. "Your beautiful." The little girl laughs and hides her face. "I should get going." She says, feeling a little overwhelmed with everything she just learned.

"Oh, please stay." Sierra insists.

"No, I really can't. I have plans with my boyfriend. It was really nice to meet you." Violet gave Tia a small smile. "I will see you on shift."

"Okay, have a good weekend with Carver."

"I will." Violet replied and then waved bye as she walked out of the room.

"She's nice, I like her."

"She's hot."

"Yes, she is, but you stay away from her." Tia warned her brother. "I mean it."

"Whatever!" He said with a smirk that indicated he was up to something.

"Timothy Dylan." Sierra said, noticing the smirk. "Don't mess things up for your sister; she has been wanting to meet Stella and connect with her for years. Sisters need each other."

"There's not going to be any connection between them two. Stella is going to be pissed when she finds out that she's been at her firehouse for a month lying about who she really is."

"She will understand; once I talk to her, she's a really understanding and sweet person. She is a forgiving person too."

Sierra looks at Tia with a sympathetic smile. "He might be right; Stella is not a forgiving person, not when it comes to family."

Later that night, after putting the kids to bed, Stella was in her bedroom, sitting on her bed, applying lotion to her legs.

"I got the champagne..." Kelly said walking into their room with two glasses and a champagne bottle. He stops for a minute to scan his wife's beautiful body. She was sitting on their bed in a short, very short purple nightie. One leg was propped up on the bed as she applied the lotion. "Damn, you are so sexy."

She blushes. "What's the champagne for?" She could tell all he had on his mind was ravishing her, and she was excited.

"Celebrate time!"

She gave him an odd look. "What are we celebrating?" She was confused, then said, "Oh! I get it. We are celebrating your return to 51; you are finally cleared for duty."

He walks over to the bed and sets the glasses down on the nightstand. "Actually no." He opened the bottle and poured some into the two glasses. "Yes, I'm excited to be back on the job; I missed the action. But we are celebrating." He hands her a glass, and she stands up, looking at him curiously.

"We are celebrating." He pulled her closer. "That I'm cleared for all physical activities, meaning I can finally make love to my wife."

Stella grins. "Yes, that's something to celebrate." She took a sip of her champagne. "I've missed your hands on me."

"Me too, baby." He kisses her softly. Then he took her glass and his glass and set them on the table. "Now we are going to make love all night long." He kisses her neck.

"Can you really go all night?" She teased.

He pulled back, looking at her offensively. "When it comes to you, you will be amazed at what I can do." He lifts her up, and she wraps her legs around his waist. And kisses her hard and passionately. He lays her gently on their bed as the kiss breaks. "I love you." He whispers as they lock eyes.

"I love you too."

He kisses her neck as his hands slide up her nightie. Enjoying the feel of her soft skin. He smiles when he realizes she doesn't have panties on. His fingers trace her wet lips.

She bites her lip as she feels his finger slip inside. The doorbell rang. "What the hell!" She exclaimed in annoyance.

"Fuck!" He groans. "Who the hell can that be?" He was irritated.

The doorbell rang again. "Damn, whoever it is, is going to wake the kids up."

Kelly sighed loudly. "I'll go see who it is."

"I'll check and make sure the kids are still sleeping."

Kelly went downstairs, mumbled every single cuss word he could think of. He looks out the window. "What the hell?" He mumbled before opening the door to a very anxious Violet and a nervous Carver. "This better be a life or death emergency."

"Severide I am so sorry, but I need to talk to Stella, it's really important."

"It couldn't wait till morning." He asked in annoyance.

"I told her to wait, but she doesn't listen." Carver said, glaring at Violet.

Kelly stared at Carver intensely. "Apparently not; we told her to stay away from you, but she didn't listen to that either."

"Kelly!" Stella said as she walked up behind him. She tie her robe tighter. "Stop being rude." she smack his shoulder. "Don't mind him Carver, I'm happy you two found each other."

Kelly rolled his eyes.

"I'm happy too." Violet said with a small smile.

"I'm move interested in why you two are standing on my porch at ten clock at night." Kelly chimed in with a distressed look.

Stella playfully hit his shoulder again. "Violet, what's going on?" Stella asked, her curiosity was peaked.

"I think there's something you should know."

Stella eyed her for a moment, then looked at Carver. "Come on in."

"Babe." Kelly whined. "They can come back in the morning. Right guys?"

"Yes, we can." Carver agreed. As they walked inside.

Violet sighed. "I do agree it could have waited till morning, but I was already stressing myself, which means I would have been up all night stressing myself out more, wondering if I should tell you or if I shouldn't tell you. "Violet." Stella interrupted her rambling. "Tell me what?"

Violet looked at Carver, who gave her an encouraging look, and she looked back at Stella, who was giving her a concerned mixed with curiosity look. And then Kelly, who just looked irritated that she was there, "Maybe it's best if I do wait till a decent hour. I'm sorry for coming here. I'm sorry if I woke the kids up. I wasn't even thinking.

"Violet, you're already here, so whatever you have to say, you might as well say it now." Kelly said cutting her off.

"Violet, go ahead and tell her; she deserves to know." Carver squeezed her hand.

Violet looked at Stella, who was looking worried now. "Tia, our new paramedic, the one that I think is just incredible, and I was very excited to work with her." She took a deep breath. "Apparently there is another reason she came to 51."

"Which is?"

Violet took a deep breath. "She is your sister Stella; she has a twin brother named Timothy. Apparently, you have a sister and a brother."
